Wuhan Lab ‘Most Likely’ Coronavirus Source, U.S. Government Analysis Finds

By Washington Times. A Wuhan laboratory is the “most likely” source of the COVID-19 outbreak now ravaging the globe, according to a U.S. government analysis that catalogs the evidence and concludes that other explanations for the origin of the coronavirus are less credible.

The document, compiled from open sources and not a finished product, says there is no smoking gun to blame the virus on either the Wuhan Institute of Virology or the Wuhan branch of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, both located in the city where the first outbreaks were reported.

But “there is circumstantial evidence to suggest such may be the case,” the paper says.

The Controversial Experiments and Wuhan Lab Suspected of Starting the Coronavirus Pandemic

Just one day after the U.S. surpassed China to become the country with the highest number of Covid-19 cases, the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency updated its assessment of the origin of the novel coronavirus to reflect that it may have been accidentally released from an infectious diseases lab, Newsweek has learned.

The report, dated March 27 and corroborated by two U.S. officials, reveals that U.S. intelligence revised its January assessment in which it “judged that the outbreak probably occurred naturally” to now include the possibility that the new coronavirus emerged “accidentally” due to “unsafe laboratory practices” in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, where the pathogen was first observed late last year. The classified report, titled “China: Origins of COVID-19 Outbreak Remain Unknown,” ruled out that the disease was genetically engineered or released intentionally as a biological weapon.

“We have no credible evidence to indicate SARS-CoV-2 was released intentionally or was created as a biological weapon,” the report found. “It is very unlikely that researchers or the Chinese government would intentionally release such a dangerous virus, especially within China, without possessing a known and effective vaccine.” Every scientist interviewed by Newsweek for this story also rejected categorically the notion that the virus was intentionally released. More Sex Offenders Released Nationwide as Peaceful Americans Arrested

Does Bill de Blasio find it “unconscionable” that an accused rapist released from jail would try to rape again?

Among the thousands of criminals released by the New York mayor thanks to politically motivated “science” was Robert Pondexter, 57. Putting aside even the veneer of limiting the jailbreak to “low-level” criminals, Pondexter was released on April 15 even though he had a prior rape charge on his rap sheet. On Saturday, just 10 days later, Pondexter was arrested and charged with sexual assault and attempted rape. He allegedly grabbed a random stranger by the shirt collar, forced her to perform a sexual act, and then tried to rape her, but she was able to escape.

Pondexter was last in jail at Rikers Island on a parole violation charge. These governors and mayors are making parole violations low-level crimes with no regard for their past histories. We saw this last month when New York Gov. Cuomo released eight high-level sex offenders in Monroe County because they were “only” in prison at that time for parole violations.

Crime has skyrocketed in parts of New York, with auto theft up 63 percent and commercial burglaries up 75 percent: a very logical outcome to an illogical policy.

Across the country in Washington state, the residents of the Evergreen State dodged a bullet when the state’s supreme court rebuffed an attempt to release 12,000 criminals, including notorious mass murderers. The liberal jailbreak group suing for release lost by just one vote in the 5-4 decision. However, what the Left failed to accomplish through the judiciary, Gov. Jay Inslee is doing without a lawsuit.

According to KTTH’s Jason Rantz, the Department of Corrections (DOC) lists a sex offender and eight gang members among those slated to be released. Milo M. McCune “was caught exposing himself to a group of children near Regal Elementary,” according to local media, but will now be released due to concerns of social distancing in prison! Again, as in New York, Washington is not considering McCune violent because his latest stint in prison was for issuing a death threat! Also, just three months before, he failed to register as a sex offender after a child rape conviction.

Inslee is commuting a lot of these sentences. Other governors claim these measures are temporary, but nobody believes they will be re-incarcerated, given that most of these governors are motivated by jailbreak, not science, and therefore view jailbreak as a necessary virtue, not even a necessary evil.

In reality, the entire premise of coronavirus jailbreak is circular logic at its finest. Thanks to numerous serology tests, we now know that this disease has spread far and wide and that most people are asymptomatic. We also know the fatality rate is low. The ACLU and other leftist groups claim if prisoners are not released, they will die because this will spread like wildfire in the prisons and create “viral explosions” in “petri dishes.”

But here’s the circular logic. In reality, if it is that contagious and transmits so quickly in prison, it means this disease has already spread like wildfire for months, so there is no purpose to releasing them now. We saw a similar dynamic aboard naval ships, where a large percentage of the crew on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt contracted the virus, but only one of a thousand died. Criminals have no greater entitlement to protection against the virus than other Americans or military members.

Also, there is actually a greater risk that they will spread the disease outside prison. Most of them are still not being tested before release, but the majority of this predominantly younger population would be asymptomatic. According to Reuters, a recent tally of 3,277 inmates in state prison systems in Arkansas, North Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia who had tested positive for the virus showed that 96 percent of them were asymptomatic. Why remove them from a place where the virus already spread so they could spread it elsewhere? Prison is the ultimate shelter-in-place.

Moreover, as Sean Kennedy writes in the Washington Post, prisoners are actually likely to get better care in prison:

The support services that these ex-prisoners need — such as Medicaid, substance abuse clinics and government assistance offices — are all but closed. When proper protocols are implemented and equipment is furnished, prisons and jails can provide sanitation, medical care and monitoring services more effectively than these releasees could receive outside the walls. They often already have ready procedures — rotating meal times, cell lockdowns and protective equipment and sanitation — available for the health and security of inmates and staff alike.

Finally, if these people can’t abide by simple laws of morality, do you really think they will abide by the much-vaunted social distancing edicts? The same politicians harshly enforcing unconstitutional edicts against peaceful Americans under the new American religion of social distancing have no problem releasing sex offenders and gang-bangers.

Yet the entire pseudo-science guiding these policies is designed to achieve these very perverse and immoral outcomes – criminalizing civil rights and economic activity while protecting violent criminals and illegal aliens.

Gov. Jay Inslee is one of the most notorious sanctuary governors, openly and illegally flouting ironclad federal power to enforce national sovereignty. Perversely, this same man is now incredulous that some county sheriffs will serve as sanctuaries for peaceful Americans and refuse to enforce his unconstitutional restrictions on civil liberties.

“For whatever talent they have, they just are not given that right in our democracy to make a decision about the Constitution,” said Inslee in response to two sheriffs who said they would not enforce his house arrest edict.

A sanctuary for illegal aliens, but not for Americans.

Michigan Congressman Justin Amash (I) has announced he is launching a 2020 presidential bid to become the nominee for the Libertarian Party. . .

In a Twitter post on Tuesday, the former Republican shared a link to his campaign website with the message, “Let’s do this,” before explaining, “Today, I launched an exploratory committee to seek the @LPNational’s nomination for president of the United States. Americans are ready for practical approaches based in humility and trust of the people.” . . .

Rep. Amash was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives as a Republican during the Tea Party tidal wave in 2010. He became a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus. . .

The congressman was the sole House Republican to call for moving forward with impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump, in May of last year. China Lashes out at U.S. Over COVID-19, Threatens Australia

By Fox News. China’s foreign ministry on Tuesday accused the United States of “lying through their teeth” and suggested the country mind its own business as the war of words between the world’s two biggest economic powers escalated.

“We advise American politicians to reflect on their own problems and try their best to control the [coronavirus] epidemic as soon as possible instead of continuing to play tricks to deflect blame,” spokesman Geng Shuang said.

The comments came on the heels of President Trump suggesting in a press conference on Monday that the U.S. would be seeking “substantial” compensation for China’s handling of the global pandemic. . .

Australia has also been on the receiving end of Beijing’s spiral. China’s ambassador to Australia warned on Monday that the government’s call for an independent international inquiry into the origins of the pandemic could lead to a Chinese boycott of Australian products.

China Threatens Economic Consequences If Australia Launches Investigation of Beijing’s Handling of Coronavirus

By The Hill. Chinese officials are threatening economic consequences if Australia moves ahead with an investigation into Beijing’s early handling of the coronavirus outbreak, Australian Sky News reported on Monday.

Chinese Ambassador to Australia Cheng Jingye said Beijing could encourage Chinese citizens to boycott Australian exports and products if Australia was to initiate the probe, the news outlet reported.

Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne called the Chinese threats “economic coercion” and repeated calls for an investigation into the early handling of the outbreak, which is thought to have originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan. While Joe Biden has remained publicly silent about a sexual assault allegation made against him, his presidential campaign has sought to coordinate and unify Democratic messaging on the matter, advising surrogates earlier this month to say that the allegation “did not happen.” …

But the messaging shows that while Biden has stayed quiet on the allegations on the eve of his nomination, aides were taking the claims seriously enough behind the scenes to coordinate messaging among other Democrats to try to cast the matter as one that’s been thoroughly vetted and determined to be unfounded.

Joe Biden Supporter Alyssa Milano Changes Tune on His Accuser Tara Reade Amid New Developments

By Fox News. Actress-turned-activist Alyssa Milano, who was criticized for her continued support of presumed 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden amid sexual assault allegations levied by Tara Reade, may have changed her tune in a Monday night tweet.

“I’m aware of the new developments in Tara Reade’s accusation against Joe Biden. I want Tara, like every other survivor, to have the space to be heard and seen without being used as fodder,” Milano tweeted. “I hear and see you, Tara.” . . .

Milano’s latest comment is a serious shift from what she told Andy Cohen earlier this month when asked about Reade’s allegations — which Biden’s campaign strongly denies.

“I just don’t feel comfortable throwing away a decent man that I’ve known for 15 years in this time of complete chaos without there being a thorough investigation and I’m sure that the mainstream media would be jumping all over this… if they found more evidence through their investigation. By Breitbart. A rancher who raises cattle in Texas and Colorado sounded the alarm that the U.S. government is importing what he considered inferior beef from Namibia while American ranchers are facing the possible “depopulation” of their herds.

“Yesterday (April 26), the first shipment of imported beef from the country of Namibia hit the shores of the United States of America,” Rancher Shad Sullivan said in a video posted on Twitter. “And yet, this morning, they (U.S. Department of Agriculture) are telling us to prepare to euthanize harvest-ready cattle.”

“Am I the only one that sees a problem with this?” Sullivan asked. “It is time we get the American people back to work. It is time we get money flowing. It is time we get food on the shelves.”

Breitbart Texas contacted Sullivan about what prompted his impassioned video.

“On Sunday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture promised to help cattle producers find alternative markets for livestock producers after several meatpacking plants shut down over Coronavirus concerns. Farmers Are Destroying Their Own Crops After the Coronavirus Ravaged the Food Market — and Say USDA Failed to Help Them Get It to Hungry Americans in Time

By Business Insider. Millions of pounds of food is being wasted on US farms after demand collapsed because of the coronavirus pandemic, according to multiple reports.

Farmers are pouring thousands of gallons of milk down the drain, and crushing ripe fruit and vegetables back into the soil with heavy machinery because they have no way to put it on the market for a profit.

The waste is due to a collapse in parts of the service industry forced to close because of the virus. It means buyers like restaurants, hotels, schools, and sports venues no longer need ingredients, which has in turn caused demand to plummet in some cases to half its regular levels, according to The Guardian.

The federal government launched a program to redistribute this food, setting aside $3 billion for the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to buy it up and send it to struggling Americans.

However, industry leaders and lawmakers have complained that USDA failed to launch the program quick enough, leaving producers with no choice but to waste huge quantities of food, Politico reported. Iran Says They Have 400 U.S. Targets Picked out If U.S. Moves Against Them

A top Iranian general on Friday revealed the nation’s plan to attack 400 U.S. targets if the U.S. military responded to Iran’s attack on Al-Assad Air Base in January.

“The day, we attacked on Ain al-Asad, we thought the US forces would respond after 20 minutes, so we were ready to attack 400 American targets,” Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brig. Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh told Iranian state media Mehr News. . .

“[Iran’s] satellite launch vehicle and others launched before it incorporates technologies identical to, and interchangeable with, ballistic missiles, including longer-range systems such as intercontinental ballistic missiles,” U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Saturday.

“I have to say that the obstacles have been removed from our path and from now on we will move faster,” Haijzadeh said on Friday. Although he did not elaborate on what those “obstacles” consisted of, it could be a reference to the nuclear agreement the U.S. withdrew from in 2018, which Iran has also been turning away from.

Iran also recently bragged about its expanded missile range, and threatened to “destroy” U.S. warships if the U.S. Navy threatens Iranian gunboats. The saber-rattling comes just days after President Trump issued a similar warning in authorizing the U.S. Navy to “shoot down and destroy” any Iranian gunboats threatening U.S. warships. Trump Implies He Has Insight Into Kim Jong Un’s Health

As rumors about North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s health continue to swirl, President Trump said he has “a very good idea” about the matter.

Speaking from the White House’s Rose Garden on Monday, Trump was asked if he had any updates on Kim’s health, which has come under close scrutiny after reports that he is in “grave danger” following heart surgery or could be in a vegetative state.

“I can’t tell you exactly. Yes, I do have a very good idea, but I can’t talk about it now,” Trump said. “I just wish him well. I’ve had a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un.” . . .

Robert Mueller’s Case Against Michael Flynn Is About to Implode

The criminal case against Michael Flynn imploded Friday. First, the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia provided Flynn’s legal team with documents discovered by an outside review of the Flynn prosecution — documents withheld for years. Then, Sidney Powell, the attorney who took over Flynn’s defense nearly a year ago, filed new documents in the case, revealing a secret “lawyers’ understanding” not to prosecute Flynn’s son if the retired lieutenant general pleaded guilty. . .

On Friday, in what appears to be the first official confirmation of the details of that appointment, the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, Timothy Shea, dispatched a letter to Flynn’s attorneys. The letter opened by informing Powell’s team that in January 2020, Barr had directed Jensen to conduct “a review of the Michael T. Flynn investigation.” That review, Shea explained, “has involved the analysis of reports related to the investigation along with communications and notes by Federal Bureau of Investigation (‘FBI’) personnel associated with the investigation.” Enclosed with the letter were an unknown number of documents “obtained and analyzed” by Jensen’s team in March and April. “Additional documents may be forthcoming,” the letter explained, concluding that the material provided was covered by the court’s protective order.

While the documents remain blocked from public view, Powell’s Friday court filing — captioned as a “Supplement to Mr. Flynn’s Motion to Dismiss for Egregious Government Misconduct” — portrayed the previously withheld material as explosive. “This afternoon,” Powell wrote, “the government produced to Mr. Flynn stunning Brady evidence that proves Mr. Flynn’s allegations of having been deliberately set up and framed by corrupt agents at the top of the FBI.”

“It also defeats any argument that the interview of Mr. Flynn on January 24, 2017 was material to any ‘investigation,’” Flynn’s attorney wrote.

Powell filed this recently received evidence under seal as Exhibit 3 but requested the court “order the government immediately to provide the defense with unredacted copies of the documents in Exhibit 3,” and that it promptly unseal those documents. Whether the Department of Justice will object to the unsealing of the documents remains to be seen, but we should know shortly. U.S. Intel: 45,500 Corpses Incinerated in Wuhan in 2 Weeks

US intelligence officials believe that the true scale of China’s coronavirus outbreak is at least FIFTY times worse than the communist state is admitting to, and that 60,000 dead bodies per month could have been processed by the funeral homes in Wuhan.

Speaking with Fox News, a Trump administration official said that “PRC numbers as reported today seem to be arithmetically impossible.” . .

It is believed that US intelligence has in its possession satellite images showing funeral homes in Wuhan overwhelmed by dead bodies. Officials believe that incinerators have been in constant use for 24 hours a day since the outbreak began.

The intelligence sources have noted that in a two week period between March 23 and April 4, over 500 urns were delivered to Wuhan families every day, which equates roughly to one urn per minute.
