Multiple Companies Yank Donations From Republicans Who Opposed Electoral College Certification

At least three major corporations have announced they will stop giving to the political campaigns of Republican lawmakers who opposed the certification of Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory. . .

Popular Information, a political newsletter operated by left-wing operative Judd Legum, contacted 144 corporations that financially supported the Republican lawmakers, specifically the eight senators, through their corporate PACs, asking if the companies would continue to support the lawmakers.

In response, three of the companies told Popular Information they would stop donating:

Marriott International, the world’s largest hotel chain
Blue Cross Blue Shield, one of America’s largest health insurance providers
Commerce Bancshares

U.S. Media’s ‘Baseless’ Claims About Election Integrity Exposed

Establishment media, who have attacked President Trump since before his election with bogus claims such as Russia collusion, have insisted his charge of election fraud is “baseless.”

But there’s a reason more than 100 state legislators from the battleground states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Georgia sent a last-minute letter Tuesday to Vice President Mike Pence asking for 10 days to investigate further because they don’t have confidence that Joe Biden won their state.

Just the News reported their letter “includes a massive index of evidence of irregularities, some of which have been validated by court rulings, official government documents or sworn affidavits.”

WATCH: Pilot Threatens to ‘Dump’ Trump Fans in Kansas After They Start Chanting ‘USA’ on His Flight

Two days after what began as a pro-Trump protest ended up with rioting at the U.S. Capitol, one American Airlines pilot made it clear he had had his fill of Trump supporters.

The flight from Washington to Phoenix turned into a mini-Trump rally as passengers waited to leave D.C. behind, according to a video tweeted by Mindy Robinson, who lost her race for Congress in November.

“Wow. I’m on a plane full of patriots flying from DC to Phoenix and we started chanting “USA” …and the Captain came on said told us he’d drop us off in Kansas if he had to if we didn’t obey their every single rule. American Airlines is everything but America,” she tweeted, including a video of the chanting.

Poll: 40% of Biden Supporters Expect Brand-New ‘Civil War’

Amid Joe Biden’s calls for “unity,” a new poll finds 40% of his supporters say they believe “our country may likely be headed to a civil war or other significant upheaval.”

Only 31% of Biden supporters did not believe that, according to the poll by the Frontier Center’s Ear to the Ground, reported Paul Bedard in his “Washington Secrets” column for the Washington Examiner.

The poll found 71% of President Trump’s supporters believe civil war is likely. Only 8% said it was not.

Get Ready for the Biden Gun Grab

Democrats now have single-party control of the federal government. President Joe Biden styled himself as the most moderate candidate his party had to offer. And still, during the campaign he promised to put Beto O’Rourke – the man who blurted out “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15s” in charge of his administration’s gun policies.

Whether or not President Biden and gun czar Beto aim for a program of national gun confiscation, we should expect some sort of major crackdown against the Second Amendment and against our other liberties. The congressmen who ducked, covered, and cowered – in now iconic photos – when protestors entered Capitol Hill will almost certainly draw the wrong conclusions. They will not – like Congresswoman Lauren Boebert – realize that their safety is fundamentally in their own hands and therefore carry arms and fight for the right of all Americans to do so. . .

Biden also wants to ban the sale of “high capacity magazines” and “assault weapons” altogether. The old argument “why would anyone need a high capacity magazine” should have been effectively answered by scenes from this summer’s riots, as business owners faced off against huge mobs intent on burning down their business and ending their livelihood. But the left doesn’t want them to have that protection. And as for the old question “what exactly is an assault weapon?” You can bet that they will try to define it as expansive as possible, to try to ban as many physical varieties of guns as they can.

The Biden campaign also promised to do a national “buy-back” of so-called “assault weapons.” The misleading term “buy-back” conceals the fact that if Americans don’t want to give up their guns, they will be forced to register them with the federal government. The fear about this has always been that this national database could be the prelude for a direct federal gun confiscation program, like what the left always applauds Australia for and like Beto O-Rourke said he wants to do here.

If you had asked me last week just how endangered our Second Amendment freedoms are, I might have been less concerned. I would have said that a Republican Senate will hold back the worst excesses of the left. I would have pointed out that many people argue that Biden is a good enough politician to realize that he won on an historically small and contested margin and commands historically small legislative majorities, that he therefore knows he does not have the same mandate Barack Obama thought he had to “fundamentally transform” America after his landslide victory and the total implosion of the Republican Party after eight years of George W. Laptop From Pelosi’s Office Stolen During Capitol Breach, Spokesman Confirms

A spokesperson for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) confirmed that a laptop was stolen from a conference room belonging to her office amid the chaos at the Capitol building on Jan. 6.

“It was a laptop that was only used for presentations,” Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill wrote in a Jan. 10 statement.

Following a Trump rally and march to the Capitol, the building was breached as protesters pushed past police who were trying to block them from entering the building while lawmakers inside debated counting Electoral College votes to confirm Joe Biden’s victory.

Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) wrote on Twitter that a laptop was taken from his office during the incident.

Michael Sherwin, the acting U.S. attorney for Washington, said it will likely take “several days to flesh out exactly what happened, what was stolen, what wasn’t,” according to Politico. Pelosi Says House Will Impeach Trump Unless VP Forces Ouster

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Sunday the House will proceed with legislation to impeach President Donald Trump unless the vice president and Cabinet invoke constitutional authority to force him out, calling Trump a threat to democracy after the deadly assault on the Capitol.

Pelosi made the announcement in a letter to colleagues, framing it as an ultimatum to Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the powers of the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. If not, she said, the House would proceed with impeachment. Trump could become the only president to be impeached twice.

U.S. Diplomats Revolt Against Trump

In a highly unusual move, American diplomats have drafted two cables condemning President Donald Trump’s incitement of the deadly assault on the Capitol and calling for administration officials to possibly support invoking the 25th Amendment to remove him from office.

Using what is known as the State Department’s “dissent channel,” career foreign and civil service officers said they fear last Wednesday’s siege may badly undermine U.S. credibility to promote and defend democratic values abroad.

“Failing to publicly hold the president to account would further damage our democracy and our ability to effectively accomplish our foreign policy goals abroad,” according to the second of the two cables, which were circulated among diplomats late last week and then sent to State Department leadership. ‘I Want Him Out’: Lisa Murkowski Becomes the First GOP Senator to Call on Trump to Resign; Murkowski Questions Future as a Republican

By CNN. Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski is calling on President Donald Trump to resign following the riots at the Capitol on Wednesday, making her the first Republican senator to take that step.

“I want him to resign. I want him out. He has caused enough damage,” Murkowski said in an interview with the Anchorage Daily News.

“I think he should leave. He said he’s not going to show up. He’s not going to appear at the at the inauguration. He hasn’t been focused on what is going on with COVID. He’s either been golfing or he’s been inside the Oval Office fuming and throwing every single person who has been loyal and faithful to him under the bus, starting with the vice president,” Murkowski told the paper. Twitter Permanently Bans Trump, Suspends Sidney Powell, Gen. Flynn, Others; Parler Deplatformed; Go to Gab

By Bloomberg. Twitter Inc. permanently banned U.S. President Donald Trump’s personal account … marking the most high-profile punishment the company has ever imposed and the end of Trump’s relationship with his favorite social media megaphone.

“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” the company wrote in a blog post on Friday. . .

Twitter had demanded that Trump delete three offending tweets, and warned at the time that he could be permanently blocked for subsequent rules violations. His account, which had more than 88 million followers, was restored Thursday. Trump’s posts on Friday included a tweet saying he wouldn’t attend President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration — and Twitter determined the tweets violated the company’s policies when “read in the context of broader events in the country.” . . .

The company said this was an indication that the president planned to continue supporting and empowering those who believe he won the November election. “Plans for future armed protests have already begun proliferating on and off-Twitter, including a proposed secondary attack on the U.S. Capitol and state capitol buildings on January 17, 2021,” Twitter wrote. Parler to be deplatformed as of midnight, January 10, 2021

By Janita Kan. Parler is fending off another attempt to shut down the social media network after Amazon said it is suspending the company from its web hosting service.

Parler founder and CEO John Matze said in a statement that the multinational technology company will be shutting Parler’s servers at midnight Sunday, Jan. 10.

Matze has characterized the decision as “an attempt to completely remove free speech off the internet.”

He added that Parler may be unavailable for up to a week as they work to rebuild the networking service online. (Read more from this story HERE)

Twitter Suspends Sidney Powell, Michael Flynn, Other Trump Allies

By WND. After temporarily suspending President Trump’s account on Wednesday, Twitter late Friday afternoon permanently banned the accounts of several of his prominent allies, including lawyer Sidney Powell and his former national security adviser, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.

The social media giant’s stated reason for banning the two and others was “behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm.” . . .

A Twitter spokesman told Fox News that Flynn’s tweets were related to the conspiracy website QAnon and calls to violence.
