Florida Condo Declared Unsafe Amid New Building Scrutiny

Residents of a Florida condo were told they should leave their homes Wednesday after local officials declared parts of the property “unsafe,” a report said.

Walkways could crumble at the three-building complex in Kissimmee, outside of Orlando, the Osceola County Building Department warned 72 residents on Wednesday, Fox 35 Orlando reported.

The alert came after an engineering report and amid heightened scrutiny across the country over potential hazards of deteriorating infrastructure sparked by the deadly condo collapse in Surfside, Fla.

“Osceola County acted quickly in the best interest of public safety by declaring the structures unsafe on Wednesday morning, which was an immediate action after it learned of the engineering report performed on behalf of the Condominium Association/management company,” county spokesman Mark Pino told the TV station. Report: Biden Plots End to Border Controls despite Their Popularity

President Joe Biden is plotting an end to border controls that experts have said have kept a lid on a wave of unprecedented illegal immigration. The border controls, polls have shown, are overwhelmingly popular with Americans.

Biden administration officials and those familiar with the plans told the Wall Street Journal that the president is planning to end use of the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) Title 42 order for migrant families arriving at the United States-Mexico border while keeping it in place, for the time being, for single adult border crossers. . .

The Journal reports:

The Biden administration is preparing to enact major policy changes at the southern border this summer as officials gradually lift a public-health emergency order that allows immigration agents to turn away most migrants crossing the border illegally, according to administration officials and others familiar with the discussions. The pandemic-era emergency order, known as Title 42, prevents people who illegally enter the U.S. from seeking asylum, instead immediately expelling them to Mexico. The administration plans to stop applying the emergency order to migrant families by the end of July, these people said. Once the order is lifted, families that requested asylum at the border will be permitted to remain in the U.S. for the duration of their cases, which can take years to complete. [Emphasis added]

Cleric Charges That God Is ‘Non-Binary’

A cleric who was the first transgender to be ordained in the Church of England has claimed in an interview with ITV News that God is not “God the Father,” or even a “He.”

God, claims Sarah Jones, is “non-binary.”

Apparently centuries of church teachings, untold years of study of the Bible, and even all those references in the Scripture themselves, are wrong?

Jones, who has opposed the millennia-old principles of the Bible for years, said, “We’re very used to talking about God as ‘He’ and obviously Jesus was a man and referred to God as ‘father,’ and I get that but when we think about anything to do with God, the limits of our human imagination and our language, we just run out of understanding, I mean, how can we possibly describe God.”

Jones continued, “And when you really think about it, does God really have a body? I don’t think so, so could God really be ‘He,’ just genuinely like a guy? I don’t think so and I think if God created everything, God’s beyond all of these boundaries so whatever God is, I really don’t think God is a standard ‘He.’ I would absolutely say that God is non-binary in the sense that God is neither male nor female and I think it’s helpful.” (Read more from “Cleric Charges That God Is ‘Non-Binary'” HERE)

NYT: Democrats Have Only 1 Year to Save Planet

Many, many warnings – and deadlines – for extremists to “save the planet” by imposing radical green agendas have come and gone.

Now comes the New York Times, with the newest from columnist Farhad Manjoo, who blared “Democrats have a year to save the planet.”

He, according to the report in Newsbusters, “screeched” that “this could be the treat turning point – an opportunity for the United States to finally take grand action to curb the worst effects of a climate barreling toward catastrophe.”

But similar warnings, from no less than Al Gore, have come and gone – without “catastrophe.”

Manjoo claimed, “A century from now, our descendants may look back on the next year or so as a hinge in history. … Picture the saga as it unfolds across the central gallery of the Biden presidential library: In the jubilant aftermath of a pandemic, a president campaigns tirelessly for an ambitious set of investments to mitigate the next great threat. Congress, shaken into action by a restive citizenry, somehow rises to the occasion, overcoming just enough partisan resistance to adopt a breakthrough environmental agenda. The global effort to curb planet-warming emissions had been foundering, but suddenly there was new hope. Shocking Number of Californians Want to Move Out of This City

A new poll is delivering bad news to the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. But officials there should have been prepared: it was their own poll.

The results show that 80% of the residents see crime has gotten worse, and about 4 in 10 are thinking about moving out because of that “out-of-control” criminal activity. . .

“The survey conducted by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce also cited how residents abhor seeing many openly injecting and taking drugs on public — further reinforcing thoughts of San Franciscans to exit the city,” commented the Gateway Pundit.

The poll itself said, “For the second year in a row, 70% of residents feel that the quality of life in San Francisco has declined. Considered in light of the pandemic, these views are somewhat unsurprising. However, what stands out in the polling results is the strikingly high and consistent number of respondents who now view homeless and crime as the leading problems facing the city.”

DHS Insanity: ‘Perfect Storm’ of ‘Violent Extremist-White Supremacists’ Is Imminent

By WND. A Homeland Security bulletin obtained by ABC talks about “violent extremists” and the July 4th holiday.

It warned “attacks” against a “range of potential targets.” With no warning, of course. Those “domestic violent extremists” – aka DVEs, the feds said, are motivated by “violent ideologies” and the “ethnically motivated violent extremist-white supremacists,” or those RMVE-WSs, were sharing information about “mass gatherings.” AND “law enforcement officers.”

“We have the perfect storm,” ABC was told by a “senior law enforcement official.”

So the network posted online: “‘Perfect storm’: Bulletin warns of extremist violence as pandemic restrictions lift.”

However, buried down in the report was the perhaps-significant comment that, “no specific plot has been identified for Independence Day,” but that the warning “ominously” said federal officials are seeing “evidence of planning” by radicals. DHS Raises Alarms over Potential For Summer Violence Pegged to August Conspiracy Theory

By CNN. . .In a closed-door meeting last Wednesday, DHS officials briefed lawmakers on the role that misinformation and disinformation play in creating circumstances for people to act violently, according to a congressional source familiar with the briefing. . .

The department has “no evidence” of a threat associated with the supposed date of Trump’s return to office, but historically some domestic violent extremists “have conducted violence in furtherance of conspiracy theories,” the bulletin said.

The bulletin also assessed the possibility that domestic terrorists might seek to exploit the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in order to attack a range of potential targets. Report: Trump’s Children Will Be Indicted ‘Next’

Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen predicted Thursday on CNN “Newsroom” that Manhattan prosecutors investigating the Trump Organization will indict former President Donald Trump’s children Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Eric “next.”

Anchor Alisyn Camerota said, “There were other people mentions, other employees, and it sounded like it goes beyond Allen Weisselberg. You think this is bigger than Allen Weisselberg. Who do you think is next to be indicted?”

Cohen said, “Well, I think Matthew Calamari is on the chopping block as well. He received the same type of perks. He received the same perks and benefits that Allen Weisselberg received. Congressman Sounds Alarm after Seeing What Happens after Illegal Aliens Flood into America

Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., on Thursday warned that the U.S. has “no operational control” of the border after a trip to Texas in which he and a number of other Republicans saw migrants streaming into the U.S. and being put on flights to other states.

“We have no operational control, no legal control, no law enforcement control of our border,” Good said in an interview with Fox News. “We are not enforcing our laws, we are not preventing people. This is willful and intentional on the part of this administration to facilitate the illegal entry into our country of tens of thousands, 180,000 in [the] month of May…some 700,000 this year, of the ones we’ve apprehended.”

Good and a number of other lawmakers from the Republican Study Committee visited McAllen, Texas this week in a visit that coincided with a visit by former President Donald Trump and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

The 20 Republicans went to the border itself around midnight, and Good described a stream of migrants coming through and turning themselves over to Border Patrol with no effort to evade apprehension — even going so far as to seek out Border Patrol.

Educators Face Termination after Launching Campaign Backing Recognition of Biological Sex

Two Oregon middle school educators are facing termination after they produced a video announcing their campaign to urge schools to resolve gender issues by recognizing biological sex.

The Grants Pass School District board of education plans to meet in July to decide if North Middle School assistant principal Rachel Damiano and science teacher Katie Medart should be terminated, reported KDRV.com News.

The two educators were placed on paid leave in April after they posted a YouTube video in late March in which they announced their campaign to urge the recognition of biological sex over gender identity to resolve school gender issues.

Supreme Court Upholds Arizona Voting Rules, Including Ballot Harvesting Ban

The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld two Republican-supported Arizona voting laws they say are intended to ensure election integrity.

The decision, delivered by a 6-3 court split on partisan lines, found that neither law violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act and that they were not enacted with racially discriminatory intent. Justice Samuel Alito wrote the court’s majority opinion. Justice Elena Kagan led the liberals in dissent.

The laws require two things. The first is that a ballot be thrown out if it was cast in a precinct other than the one matching the voter’s home address. The second is a ban on “ballot harvesting,” a practice in which third-party carriers collect absentee ballots and deliver them for counting.

Alito wrote in his opinion that because the laws gave voters an “equal opportunity” to vote, they were not discriminatory. He criticized the dissent for taking another tack, which focused on the fact that after the laws were enacted, they had a “disparate impact” on minorities, many of whom were voting in the wrong district or participating in ballot-harvesting.

Alito warned that Kagan and anyone opposing the laws were advancing a “radical” project, in which the only thing that a state takes into account when making voting laws is “the size of any disparity in a rule’s impact on members of protected groups.” And while that is an interest, Alito wrote, it is impossible to make laws that will not have some effect on how many people of any particular group vote.
