State Replaces ‘Sex Offender’ With ‘Adults Who Commit Sexual Offenses’ Due to ‘Stigma’

Colorado’s Sex Offender Management Board voted Monday to stop using the term “sex offender” in treatment contexts and begin using “adults who commit sexual offenses” since it’s a less stigmatizing term for such individuals, KCNC-TV reported.

The terminology change is meant to reflect “person-first” language, the station said, and only affects use in treatment. KCNC added that the term “sex offender” won’t change in the state’s law or criminal justice system. . .

Kimberly Corbin, a rape survivor, spoke out against changing the term “sex offender” to something less stigmatizing, KCNC noted.

“I’m involved today after hearing that it would be improper or offensive in some manner for me to refer to the man who raped me as a sex offender,” Corbin said, according to the station.

She added to KCNC that “it’s very, very damaging” when people are “labeled” as a result of their “gender, race, sexuality, [or] ability” since “those are not their choices”; however, Corbin emphasized that sex offenders make choices to commit sexual crimes and don’t require a less stigmatizing label. Journalist Arrested After Reporting on Attacks Against Christians

A Nigerian Christian journalist has been imprisoned following his reporting of attacks on Christians in Nigeria’s Middle Belt and his criticism of the government’s response, the Barnabas Fund reported Monday.

Officials of Kaduna State arrested Epoch Times journalist Luka Binniyat November 4 and charged him with transmitting electronic information known “to be false” under the nation’s Cybercrimes Act.

The charge is a federal offence carrying a penalty of three years in prison and Binniyat has not been offered bail and must be tried in a higher court.

A local source told the Barnabas Fund that Binniyat’s arrest “is aimed at silencing any dissenting voice and intimidating both Luka and the southern Kaduna communities.”

No Soup for You: Biden Gives Harris Cold Shoulder at DC Kitchen After Reported Tensions

President Biden seemed to snub Vice President Kamala Harris Tuesday as they helped prepare meals at a DC soup kitchen during their first public appearance together in more than a week.

Biden made no attempt to demonstrate any fondness for his VP in front of the cameras after Harris allies slammed Biden to CNN last week for giving her tough jobs, such as handling the border crisis, and accused the West Wing of giving her less support than white members of the administration.

When asked by a reporter what he was grateful for, Biden put an arm around DC Central Kitchen chef Dawain Arrington — who was standing to the president’s left with Harris at Biden’s right — and said, “The people I’m standing next to are what I’m thankful for. He got up. He was knocked down, but he got up.”

Moments earlier, first lady Jill Biden directed Harris to a spot next to her husband, but the president didn’t appear to greet his second-in-command. . .

Press pool microphones didn’t capture any words between Biden and Harris and the president seemed to ignore the veep and return immediately to his conversation with Arrington as he placed turkey on trays. MSM Ignores Hunter Biden Report On Securing Chinese Mineral Monopoly

The nation’s largest news networks ignored blockbuster reporting from The New York Times this week that chronicled how Hunter Biden helped the Chinese secure a major cobalt mine in Congo.

On Saturday, the Times reported that Biden’s joint global equity firm, the Bohai Harvest RST (Shanghai) Equity Investment Fund Management Company, facilitated purchase of one of the world’s most lucrative cobalt reserves in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

“The firm made one of its most successful investments in 2016, when it bought and later sold a stake in CATL, a fast-growing Chinese company that is now the world’s biggest maker of batteries for electric vehicles,” the Times reported. “The mining deal in Congo also came in 2016, when the Chinese mining outfit China Molybdenum announced that it was paying $2.65 billion to buy Tenke Fungurume, a cobalt and copper mine, from the American company Freeport-McMoRan.” . . .

According to the Media Research Center, American media remained mute.

Instead of covering the corruption of the Biden family, ABC’s World News Tonight was busy hyping online Black Friday deals. And on CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News, they were lamenting Chinese genocide apologist and NBA player, LeBron James getting suspended for a fight on the court.

DA Admitted Progressive Reforms Would Mean Someone Would Get Killed: ‘It’s Guaranteed’

The district attorney facing criticism after the alleged Waukesha Christmas parade crash killer was freed on bond two days before the carnage previously admitted his progressive reforms “guaranteed” killers could be put back on the street.

Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm, who was elected to the position in 2007, has spent his career supporting cash-bail system reform because he argues it criminalizes poverty.

In an interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel the year he was elected, Chisholm said: “Is there going to be an individual I divert, or I put into treatment program, who’s going to go out and kill somebody?”

“You bet. Guaranteed. It’s guaranteed to happen. It does not invalidate the overall approach.”

Chisholm has long pushed to divert nonviolent offenders away from the prison system with alternate programs, and has spoken previously about reducing the number of incarcerations in Milwaukee County. By The Blaze. Protesters angry that Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of all criminal charges against him gathered in Chicago on Saturday and demanded a communist revolution.

Jesse Jackson and the Rainbow PUSH Coalition led the protest in downtown Chicago. Jackson called the Rittenhouse verdict a “major blow against justice and open season by the violence of right-wing military,” according to WBBM-TV. . .

Video taken from the rally showed demonstrators parading down Chicago streets with a large sign that read, “Rittenhouse—Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! No Facist USA. Organize Now For Real Revolution.” Another sign read, “End The Trump Era. Stop White Supremacy.” The crowd was chanting, “If we don’t get it— shut it down!” and “No Justice, No Peace!”

At one point during demonstrations, protesters began openly calling for a communist revolution.

“The only solution is communist revolution! The only solution is communist revolution! The only solution is communist revolution!” the crowd chanted. “That’s right! We need communism. That’s what we need. We need that! We need that, sister, we need that very much!”

Armed BLM Protesters Join Socialist Rally for ‘Justice’ in Kenosha

By Breitbart. A group of people armed with pistols and semi-automatic rifles joined a socialist group’s march in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Sunday. The protesters called for “justice” after a jury acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse on all charges on Friday.

A group of about 50 protesters gathered outside the Kenosha County Courthouse on Sunday to march against what they called an injustice in the decision by a jury to find Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty on all charges. The group gathered around the banner of the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

Joining the group was four armed individuals who said they were from Chicago. The group appeared to have crossed state lines to march with two semi-automatic rifles, and multiple handguns.

One of the armed protesters, Eric Jordan, came to the rally with his 16-year-old daughter, Jade. Both came to the protest armed with semi-automatic rifles. Eric also openly carried a pistol.

Eric Jordan told Breitbart News he came to provide security for the planned march in Kenosha. When asked if he expected resistance, Jordan responded saying, “Just be careful, we need everyone to get home safe.” He also indicated he is a veteran. Waukesha Christmas Parade Attack Suspect Should Have Never Been Out on the Streets; Alleged Attacker Rapped About George Floyd, Black Power, Anti-Police Rhetoric

By New York Post. The man arrested over the deadly Christmas parade attack in Wisconsin should have been behind bars following an arrest earlier this month, but was released on an “inappropriately low” bond days before the attack, the district attorney admitted Monday.

Darrell Brooks, 39, is charged with five counts of intentional homicide over the deadly crash on Sunday in Waukesha that left five dead and at least 48 injured, police said.

Brooks was out on bond at the time of Sunday’s tragedy after allegedly punching the mother of his child and hitting her with his car in a Milwaukee gas station parking lot on Nov. 2, according to court documents.

He was arrested and charged that same day with resisting or obstructing an officer, reckless endangering safety, disorderly conduct, bail jumping and battery.

The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office said Monday it had launched an internal probe into how Brooks was given such a low bond given the seriousness of the charges and his criminal history. Alleged Wisconsin Christmas Parade Attacker Rapped About George Floyd, Black Power, Anti-Police Rhetoric

By National File. Alleged Wisconsin Christmas Parade slayer Darrell E. Brooks previously rapped about George Floyd, Eric Garner, “black power,” anti-white racism, and frequently used anti-police rhetoric in his music. . .

The alleged assailant appears to have been identified as Darrell E. Brooks, otherwise known as rapper MathBoi Fly. Brooks, now in custody, is a black man in his 30’s according to reports by Karol Markowicz. . .

“The man in custody over the mass casualty incident at the #Waukesha, Wis. Christmas parade has posts on his social media in support of BLM causes, George Floyd & black nationalism. He also has a post about how to get away with running people over on the street,” Ngo tweeted.

In one of MathBoi Fly’s songs, the individual raps about the aforementioned subjects. “They done got another victim like it’s Eric Garner, they make it hard to breathe like it’s George Floyd, middle finger to police blood don’t get me started,” Brooks appears to have said in a song titled MINNESOTA. “Had his knee on his neck wouldn’t get off him, we ain’t doing no more marching time to get retarded, military police imma go regardless.”

Biden Claims Small Kitchen Fire Nearly Burnt House Down ‘With My Wife in It’ (VIDEO)

President Biden is again being accused of exaggerating his past, this time for saying that his Delaware home once burned down with the first lady inside — while local officials have said it was just a small kitchen fire.

The commander-in-chief raised the 2004 blaze last week during remarks at a rusty New Hampshire bridge promoting his just-enacted infrastructure plan.

“What happens if the bridge collapses and there’s a fire on the other side?” said Biden, raising the specter of emergency response delays. “It’s going to takes 10 miles longer to get to the fire. People can die. I mean, this is real. This is real stuff.”

Later in his remarks, the president added: “And I know, having had a house burn down with my wife in it — she got out safely, God willing — that having a significant portion of it burn, I can tell: 10 minutes makes a hell of a difference.”

OUTRAGEOUS: FDA Forces a Popular Baby Monitor off the Market — But Not Because It’s Unsafe

In yet another instance of the federal government’s war on parents, the Food and Drug Administration is cracking down on a popular baby monitoring device called the Owlet Smart Sock. While the agency’s concerns have nothing to do with the product’s safety, Owlet Baby Care has been forced to pull its device off the market.

The Owlet Smart Sock is a high-tech baby monitoring device that allows parents to track their baby’s sleep patterns, heart rate, and oxygen levels. Through a washable “sock” that easily wraps around the baby’s foot and connects to a wireless base, it alerts parents should their baby’s heart rate or oxygen levels get too high or too low. Parents can also monitor oxygen levels and sleep trends through Owlet’s free iOS and Android app.

That is, parents could do these things, prior to the FDA using its regulatory powers to ban parents from being able to purchase the high-tech baby monitoring device. In a warning letter dated Oct. 5, the FDA alleged Owlet was marketing its Smart Sock in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

The agency claims the sock is a medical device that requires premarket approval to sell in the United States because it is “intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions or in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease, or to affect the structure or any function of the body.” Until Owlet obtains proper approval, the FDA ordered the company to stop selling the product or face “seizure, injunction, and civil money penalties.” (Read more from “The FDA Forces a Popular Baby Monitor off the Market — But Not Because It’s Unsafe” HERE)

Disney Star Slammed After ‘Glorifying a Child Rapist’ in Tribute to Rittenhouse Attacker

Social media took Disney’s “The Mandalorian” star Pedro Pascal to the woodshed after he tweeted a tribute to Joseph Rosenbaum, one of Kyle Rittenhouse’s attackers.

Rosenbaum, according to court documents was a convicted child rapist accused of anally raping children as young as 9 years old.

Pascal on Saturday received heavy backlash after he tweeted a tribute to the two men who were fatally shot after attacking Rittenhouse during the 2020 Kenosha, Wisconsin, riots. . .
