Navy SEAL Candidate Killed During ‘Hell Week’ ID’d

A Navy SEAL candidate who died during “Hell Week” training over the weekend was identified Sunday as 24-year-old Kyle Mullen of Manalapan, NJ.

Mullen died during an underwater demolition class near San Diego, Calif., on Friday. Another candidate for the elite military squad was hospitalized during the training exercise, according to a report by USA Today.

“Great athlete but a better person,” said Ed Guerreri, the football coach at Manalapan High School where Mullen played, to the outlet.

“Everybody loved him,” Guerreri said. “Probably one of the best kids I ever had. Great, great kid on the field but even better off the field.”

The coach said his players will now wear a No. 44 patch — Mullen’s old number — on their uniforms at the Monmouth County school. (Read more from “Navy SEAL Candidate Killed During ‘Hell Week’ ID’d” HERE)

BLM Founder Sentenced to 6 Years for Illegally Voting

The founder of the Black Lives Matter chapter in Memphis has been sentenced to prison for six years for illegally registering to vote in Tennessee, prosecutors said.

Pamela Moses, the 44-year-old activist, was ordered to spend six years and one day behind bars Monday for registering to vote despite felony convictions in 2015 that made her ineligible to do so, Shelby County District Attorney General. Amy Weirich said.

In handing down the sentence, Judge Michael Ward accused her of deceiving the probation department to obtain the right to vote,

“You tricked the probation department into giving you documents saying you were off probation,” Ward said in court, the Washington Post reported.

In 2015, Moses pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence and forgery, both felonies, and to misdemeanor charges of perjury, stalking, theft under $500, and escape. (Read more from “BLM Founder Sentenced to 6 Years for Illegally Voting” HERE)

Biden Crime Crisis: Killings of Police Explode, Hit All-Time High

An FBI database of police officers killed in the line of duty shows that more have died since Joe Biden became president than deaths dating back to 1995.

“We believe it’s a combination … of the George Floyd protests — riots, if you will; a general feeling of a preference for less law enforcement; and less prosecution and less policing,” Jason Johnson, president of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF) and a 20-year police veteran, said in a Fox News report.

“Law enforcement officers have essentially been marginalized and demoralized and cast aside and encouraged now to enforce the law,” Johnson said. “And so we’ve seen massive jumps in the homicide rate in cities across America.”

Johnson said rising homicide rates in major U.S. cities have “also resulted in many more officers being assaulted because … a lot of leaders in these cities and leaders in Congress and leaders in the White House have really voiced a lack of respect for law enforcement officers.” . . .

Ambush attacks against officers were also up in 2021, with LEOKA data showing that 32 officers were killed in an ambush or unprovoked attack in 2021, exceeding previous records dating back to at least 1987, according to the Heartland Institute’s report. Ratings for Beijing Olympics Tank; 2022 Opening Ceremony Hit All-Time Low in TV Viewership

Thus far, the 2022 Beijing Olympics have been an absolute flop. The ratings for the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics hit all-time lows.

On Saturday, NBC Sports revealed that Friday’s full-day opening ceremony coverage averaged “nearly 14 million TV-only viewers.”

The viewership plunged 43% from the opening ceremony for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, which had 23.8 million people watching the international sporting event.

“The previous low over the last three decades was the 1992 Barcelona games, which had 21.6 million viewers,” noted The Wrap which added, “The high watermark for an opening ceremony was the London Games in 2012, when more than 40 million tuned into NBC’s tape-delayed coverage.”

Deadline reported, “A paltry 8.7 million tuned in on NBC in primetime see the pre-taped Mike Tirico and Savannah Guthrie-led coverage of the propaganda-heavy spectacle put on by Chinese President Xi Jinping and filmmaker Zhang Yimou.” (Read more from “Ratings for Beijing Olympics Tank; 2022 Opening Ceremony Hit All-Time Low in TV Viewership” HERE)

Chinese Communists Parrot Woke Rhetoric to Attack DOJ

The Biden administration is experiencing an uptick of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) spokesmen channeling left-wing talking points aimed at discrediting American institutions.

Seeking to denounce a key Department of Justice (DOJ) counterintelligence program billed to “identify priority Chinese trade theft cases,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Zhao Lijian, invoked its domestic critics during a recent Jan. 18 presser.

“There is an old Chinese saying to the effect that ‘He who has a mind to frame others can easily trump up some charges’,” said Zhao, echoing critics’ assertions the DOJ harbors “implicit biases” and deliberately engages in “racial profiling” while investigating China Initiative cases.

Launched by Attorney General Jeff Sessions in 2018, the China Initiative set out to counter “China’s malign behaviors” and identified academia as one of America’s “most vulnerable sectors” to CCP espionage.

However, the China Initiative has since come under fire from Democratic Party politicians, academics, activists and mainstream media outlets. (Read more from “Chinese Communists Parrot Woke Rhetoric to Attack DOJ” HERE)

Company Sues Man on Life Support With COVID in Order to Recoup Loan

A Bronx landlord who’s clinging to life thanks to COVID-19 was slapped with two lawsuits over a $23,000 high-interest loan he was forced to take out during the pandemic-related rent moratorium, according to a new lawsuit.

The lending company Premier Capital Funding LLC is hunting down Jeffrey Schneider — who is on life support — to repay $58,000 for the loan he took out in May through his company Remie Realty Corp., according to court papers filed by Schneider’s wife.

Schneider, the landlord of a rent-controlled building in the Bronx, sought the $23,000 life line when his struggling tenants stopped paying rent, the court filing says.

He managed to pay back $25,000 of the roughly $35,000 total he owed on the high-interest loan before coronavirus all but killed him.

“This debt that started out with the merchant [Remie] receiving $23,000 has now exploded into an $85,000 debt,” Schneider family lawyer Ashlee Colonna Cohen told The Post. “He’s already paid $25,000 of it and they are still asking for more.” (Read more from “Company Sues Man on Life Support With COVID in Order to Recoup Loan” HERE)

Olympic Coach Accuses China of Violating Player’s Human Rights With 18-Day COVID Isolation

Finland’s Olympic ice hockey coach is accusing China of violating the human rights of athletes because one of his players has been confined to his hotel in isolation for 18 days over a positive coronavirus test.

Finland team forward Marko Anttila has been confined to his hotel room for more than two weeks after testing positive for the virus upon landing in Beijing. And the situation is intolerable, as far as coach Jukka Jalonen is concerned, Fox Business Network reports.

Jalonen says that being cooped up without proper nutrition and exercise is physically dangerous to the 6-foot-8, 230-pound Fin.

“He’s a professional athlete, and he would like to participate in team practices and games in the near future,” Jalonen said. “He’s not getting great food, and he’s a very big guy.”

“Because he doesn’t know what’s going on and what will happen with him, it’s like uncertainties, so it’s a bad thing also mentally,” the coach added. (Read more from “Olympic Coach Accuses China of Violating Player’s Human Rights With 18-Day COVID Isolation” HERE)

Rogan on Ropes: Joe Apologizes After N-Word Compilation Goes Viral

Famed podcaster Joe Rogan has apologized for using the N-word during past podcast episodes after a compilation of him using the word surfaced on the Internet amid calls to cancel him from Spotify.

Rogan explained that while he never used the word directed at anybody, “whenever you’re in a situation where you have to say, ‘I’m not racist,’ you fucked up. And I clearly have f**ked up.”

The comedian and UFC commentator has been under attack for hosting two guests — Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Robert Malone — on his podcast, who “have an opinion that’s different from the mainstream narrative” regarding coronavirus-related issues,” he said.

In an attempt to quell the concerns of those calling for his cancellation, Rogan suggested that he host experts with the same opinions as the mainstream narrative right after hosting the “controversial” guests — and add a “content advisory” to his episodes.

But the cancel campaign doesn’t seem interested in Rogan’s suggestion of hosting a variety of guests with different viewpoints, as it is still baying for his blood. (Read more from “Rogan on Ropes: Joe Apologizes After N-Word Compilation Goes Viral” HERE)

SEALS, Others Punished by U.S. Navy in Violation of Court Order, Lawyers Say

Military officials with the U.S. Navy are punishing Navy SEALs and other Naval service members for seeking religious exemptions to a COVID-19 vaccine mandate in violation of a court order, according to attorneys for the service members.

Attorneys for First Liberty Institute filed a motion Monday requesting a federal court to set a hearing and order the U.S. Navy to show why it should not be in held in contempt of the court.

In early January, U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor of the Northern District of Texas signed an injunction order after hearing testimony from several Navy SEALs and other Navy service members in December as part of the group’s lawsuit. The lawsuit included 35 Navy SEALs and Naval service members.

The suit is against President Joe Biden, the Department of Defense, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro. (Read more from “SEALs, Others Punished by U.S. Navy in Violation of Court Order, Lawyers Say” HERE)

Sixteen Members of the Penn Women’s Swim Team Ask the NCAA to Protect Them From Men in Women’s Sports

The University of Pennsylvania women’s swim team has finally had enough.

The sixteen members of the University of Pennsylvania women’s swim team sent a letter to school and Ivy League officials asking them to prohibit Penn’s trans female swimmer from competing in the NCAA championships, reports the Washington Post.

“We fully support Lia Thomas in her decision to affirm her gender identity and to transition from a man to a woman. Lia has every right to live her life authentically,” wrote the swim team members, “However, we also recognize that when it comes to sports competition, that the biology of sex is a separate issue from someone’s gender identity.”

Lia Thomas — formerly known as ‘Will’ — competed on men’s swim teams for years. He was even a part of the Penn men’s swim team before deciding to start taking hormones to try and transition into becoming a woman. Thomas, who is actively suppressing his testosterone levels, benefits immensely in competition since he has the skeletal and muscle structure of a grown man.

“Biologically, Lia holds an unfair advantage over competition in women’s category, as evidence by her ranking that have bounced from #462 as a male to #1 as a female,” the letter continues, “If she were to be eligible to compete against us, she could now break Penn, Ivy, and NCAA Women’s Swimming records; feats she could never have done as a male athlete.” (Read more from “Sixteen Members of the Penn Women’s Swim Team Ask the NCAA to Protect Them From Men in Women’s Sports” HERE)
