Belarus Reportedly Preparing to Send Soldiers to Ukraine, Backing Russia

A US official said Sunday night that Belarus is preparing to send soldiers into Ukraine as soon as Monday in order to support Russia’s ongoing military campaign in the country.

“It’s very clear Minsk is now an extension of the Kremlin,” the official said, referring to the Belarus capital.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said last week that troops could be sent into the country to aid Russian troops if needed.

The country, which borders Ukraine to the north, will be hosting peace talks between delegations from Ukraine and Russia on Monday. (Read more from “Belarus Reportedly Preparing to Send Soldiers to Ukraine, Backing Russia” HERE)

Trump Was Right About Germany and NATO. Their Latest Move Proves It. (VIDEO)

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced Sunday he will dedicate at least two percent of the country’s GDP to defense, fully satisfying membership requirements for the NATO alliance. For years Germany has been paying well below the requirement and committed amount to deter Russian aggression. . .

But it wasn’t so long ago that President Donald Trump repeatedly urged all European countries, including Germany, to step up and fulfill their commitments to NATO.

“What good is NATO if Germany is paying Russia billions of dollars for gas and energy? Why are there only 5 out of 29 countries that have met their commitment? The U.S. is paying for Europe’s protection, then loses billions on Trade. Must pay 2% of GDP IMMEDIATELY, not by 2025,” Trump tweeted in July 2018.

Poll: Strong Majority Now Think Joe Biden Is Mentally Unfit to Serve

A strong majority of adults in the United States believe President Joe Biden is mentally unfit to serve as commander in chief, according to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll.

The poll, which was released only days before the president is slated to give the State of the Union address, showed a majority believe Biden is unfit to serve as president while also revealing the lowest job approval rating (37 percent) from the Washington Post/ABC News poll since becoming president just over a year ago.

The recent poll revealed that the “underlying weakness” is to the degree that most adults “have doubts about his personal capacities.” When the respondents were asked if he was a strong leader, 59 percent said no, while 36 percent said yes. In fact, those percentages resemble his job approval; 37 percent approve and 55 percent disapprove. (Read more from “Poll: Strong Majority Now Think Joe Biden Is Mentally Unfit to Serve” HERE)

Doctors Sue State for Forcing Them to Help With ‘Suicides’

Doctors have filed a lawsuit in California against the state’s attorney general, health department chief, and others who make up the state Medical Board over a plan that would require them to participate in assisted “suicides.”

For most of the history of the United States, “helping” someone kill themselves has been a crime. But multiple states now are adopting the “assisted suicide” story line and imposing requirements to help that agenda.

In California, the lawsuit is being brought by a Christian doctor as well as the Christian Medical & Dental Associations, for the law “that requires doctors to participate in physician-assisted suicide against their religious convictions and professional ethics.”

According to the Alliance Defending Freedom, which is representing the plaintiffs, the state’s End of Life Options Act legalized assisted suicides in 2015.

“Then, despite the medical-ethics consensus that no physician should be forced to participate in physician-assisted suicide even where the practice is allowed, California recently legislated to not only eliminate important safeguards from the End of Life Options Act, but also force conscientious physicians to participate in the process,” the ADF reported. Trump On 2024: ‘We’re Going to Be Doing It Again, a Third Time’ (VIDEO)

Former President Donald Trump made a serious hint in his speech Saturday at CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference, that he’ll be running for president again in 2024.

“We are a sleeping giant,” Trump said, speaking to America’s adversaries, such as Russia and China.

“They’re going to find out the hard way starting on Nov. 8, and then even more so on November 2024, they will find out like never before. We did it twice and we’ll do it again, we’re going to be doing it again, a third time,” he said, an apparent reference to his upcoming third campaign for the presidency.

“2022 will be the year that millions of every day citizens stand up to the leftwing fascists, and they will continue and we will all continue together to make America great again. We can build it back again quickly and even better than before.” (Read more from “Trump: ‘We’re Going to Be Doing It Again, a Third Time'” HERE)

The West Could Have Prevented the Russo-Ukrainian War, but Chose Not To; Biden’s Approval Sinks Further as Russia-Ukraine Crisis Heightens

By The Federalist. Not every war is unnecessary or avoidable, but history might well judge the Russo-Ukrainian war as both, not least because the United States and its European allies could have prevented it, but didn’t.

The decision to go to war was Russia’s, and Russia bears ultimate responsibility for what happens now. But that does not absolve the West of its strategic incompetence and complacency, and it does not mean the United States and its allies are guiltless in all of this.

At multiple points leading up to the current crisis, there were ways for the United States and Europe to create off-ramps for both Moscow and Kyiv, to shepherd a negotiated settlement so that both sides got a minimum of what they needed, and some of what they wanted.

What might that have looked like? For Moscow, a recognition of its strategic claim on Crimea and the port of Sevastopol as the home of its Black Sea Fleet. For Kyiv, the promise of political independence and greater integration with Europe in exchange for territorial concessions.

The West should have also considered the folly and recklessness of floating the idea of NATO membership for Ukraine, something no serious person ever thought Russia would accept without going to war to prevent it. And yet as far back as 2008, the United States openly discussed the possibility of Ukraine’s membership in NATO, even as Kyiv still claimed sovereignty over Russia’s most important naval base in Sevastopol. Under these conditions, the idea of Ukraine joining NATO was preposterous. (Read more from “The West Could Have Prevented the Russo-Ukrainian War, but Chose Not To” HERE)

Biden’s Approval Sinks Further as Russia-Ukraine Crisis Heightens

By The Federalist. New polling indicates that only 39 percent of Americans approve of President Joe Biden’s job as president as the Russia-Ukraine crisis heightens.

According to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll, 56 percent of Americans think Biden’s first year in office was a failure. Among those unimpressed with the president’s track record of rising gas prices, a botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, and a growing crisis on the Southern border, are 66 percent of independents who will likely take their frustrations out at the polls in the upcoming 2022 midterms. Even 15 percent of Democrats admit that Biden’s tenure in the White House thus far has been a failure.

While nearly 40 percent of Americans think inflation should be Biden’s top priority, only 36 percent of them still support how the president is handling the country’s financial circumstances which are plagued with record-high inflation. CDC’s Latest Announcement Paves Way for the End of Mandates

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its COVID-19 mask guidance Friday to no longer recommend mask-wearing in most indoor settings.

Many state and local governments have deferred to CDC guidance when implementing mask mandates, meaning the change could lead to the end of the remaining mask mandates in some blue jurisdictions. The CDC has recommended indoor masking for Americans, regardless of vaccination status, since last summer after briefly relaxing guidance in the spring of 2021.

The new CDC guidance divides communities into high, medium and low risk categories based on COVID metrics like hospitalizations. People in communities that are deemed high risk are advised to wear a mask indoors, but those in low or medium risk areas are advised only to get vaccinated and get tested if sick.

In medium risk communities, vulnerable individuals are encouraged to seek the advice of their doctor on whether or not to wear a mask. Roughly 70% of American counties fall in the medium or low risk groups, meaning those residents aren’t advised to mask. Ukraine’s Zelensky Warns EU Leaders ‘This Might Be the Last Time You See Me Alive’

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said goodbye to European leaders Thursday during a video chat — telling them that “this might be the last time you see me alive,” according to reports.

The 44-year-old leader made the chilling warning in a video call with EU leaders Thursday, sources told Axios and the Financial Times just before he publicly stated he was Russia’s “target number one.”

One of those on the call, Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, also told the TT news agency that the EU leaders knew when they said goodbye that they might not see him again.

Zelensky, who appeared to address the other leaders from a bunker, vowed to remain in Kyiv even as it came under siege — and as he conceded that the Russians “want to destroy Ukraine politically by taking down the head of state.”

“The enemy has designated me as target number one, and my family as target number two,” he said of wife Olena Zelenska, their son, Kiril, and daughter, Aleksandra. (Read more from “Ukraine’s Zelensky Warns EU Leaders ‘This Might Be the Last Time You See Me Alive'” HERE)
