Trump Urges Rallygoers to “Crush the Communists at the Ballot Box”

Former President Donald Trump is racing to the finish line in support of Republican candidates for key races ahead of this week’s midterm election. On a rare afternoon stop, he rallied before a heavily-populated Latino crowd that started with sunshine and ended with a typical Florida downpour. A rain that didn’t seem to wash away any enthusiasm.

“This is the best rally we’ve ever had,” Trump shouted from the stage as rain flew in sideways during the Miami event to support Republican Senator Marco Rubio, Governor Ron DeSantis and a slew of GOP candidates on hand hoping the former president’s Hail Mary works.

Trump hit all of his usual talking points during the rally like: the 2020 election, which he says was still a sham; the border wall; the Russia-Ukraine war; gas prices; inflation; the price of Thanksgiving turkeys; Nancy Pelosi; Joe Biden; Hillary Clinton; COVID; China; illegal immigration; impeachments; and most notably, Democrats, who he said are “radicals” and hard left-leaning “socialists” who are after guns, free speech rights, power and votes.

“Democrats want to turn America into communist Cuba or socialist Venezuela,” Trump said about 25 minutes into his speech. “In the Republican Party. We are determined that America will never be a socialist country and America. Ukraine War: Russia ‘Warning’ That ‘Britain Is Too Deep in This Conflict’

Russian ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin has warned that Britain is drawing too close to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

“We perfectly know about participation of British specialists in training, preparation, and execution of plans against the Russian infrastructure and the Russian fleet in the Black Sea. We know that it has been done,” Kelin said in an interview with Sky News.

“It is dangerous … It can bring us to the line of I would say no return—return is always possible—but we should avoid escalation. And this is a warning actually that Britain is too deep in this conflict. It means the situation is becoming more and more dangerous.”

When asked to provide evidence to support his accusations against the UK, Kelin said that Moscow has handed over its proof to the British ambassador and that it will be made public “pretty soon.”

A drone attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet, which took place last weekend, reportedly ended up damaging three ships, including the flagship HMS Makarov. British ambassador to Moscow Deborah Bronnert was summoned by the Russian foreign ministry which claimed the involvement of UK forces. Dangerous Chemical Abortion Pills Being Handed Out Despite Regulations

. . .Last week, FiveThirtyEight provided provided coverage for Aid Access, a Dutch international group that sends over chemical abortion pills where it’s illegal.

Such coverage acknowledges that “Aid Access occupies a kind of legal gray area,” but mentions the group claims to follow the law. When it comes to laws against this method it’s also mentioned that, “these laws are difficult to enforce and individuals are rarely prosecuted, essentially creating a legal loophole for groups like Aid Access and the people who use their services.”

While the piece includes the pro-abortion argument that pro-life laws don’t change the supposed “need for abortion,” it doesn’t include any pro-life counterarguments. There’s also no mention of the dangerous side effects of such a method. In fact, the coverage promotes the method by using one-sided information that claims this method “is effective and low risk.”

At one point, such coverage even seemingly promotes illegal abortions:

Medication abortion isn’t just used for legal abortions, though — it’s also a safe, hard-to-detect way to terminate a pregnancy outside the medical and legal system. In the era before Roe v. Wade, various methods of self-induced abortion often resulted in infection or other serious health problems. Now, though, it’s relatively easy for people to order abortion pills over the internet from services like Aid Access.

‘America Is Getting Dumber’: Experts Say Lockdowns Aren’t the Only Cause of Student Struggles

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, America’s students are posting lower test scores, amounting to historic learning loss. The school shutdowns, however, are not the only reason students’ achievement is declining, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

High school graduates from the class of 2022 averaged a score of 19.8 out of 36 on the ACT, a college admissions test, the lowest score in more than 30 years. Experts told the DCNF that while the scores are further proof the shutdown of schools from the COVID-19 pandemic caused learning loss, the current American school system, teachers unions and a stray from traditional education have caused students’ academic achievement to drop.

“America is getting dumber because American parents have been working so many hours to either ‘keep up with the Jones” or to put food on the table, they had to have blind trust in the public schools,” Yael Levin, chief communications officer of No Left Turn in Education, a group focused on parental rights in education, told the DCNF.

Andrew Handel, education task force director for American Legislative Exchange Council, a nonprofit that drafts model legislation, told the DCNF that a lack of school choice is causing students to suffer.

“I think the way America has done education just doesn’t work,” Handel said to the DCNF. “This method of taking kids and assigning them to a school based on nothing more than a zip code or an address, it’s just an outdated, ineffective and inefficient way of going about things. Especially when you look at today. Twitter Delaying $8 Blue Checks Until After Election Day — As Some Fired Workers Are Asked Back: Reports

Twitter is delaying doling out blue verification check marks as part of its new subscription service until after Tuesday’s elections — while the company is already asking some fired workers to come back, reports say.

The social-media giant, bought by tech billionaire Elon Musk late last month, is holding off on the “verification” part of its new premium $8-a-month subscription service after worries grew that the move could affect Tuesday’s midterm Election Day, according to the New York Times, which cited an internal post it reviewed and two people with knowledge of the decision.

Twitter workers and users conveyed concerns the new service could lead to confusion on Tuesday’s Election Day, with social-media users possibly posing as officials or news outlets and paying for a verification badge in a bid to push out false information.

The company decided to hold off on that aspect of the subscription just one day after it announced the monthly cost requirement as part of the app’s special offering dubbed Twitter Blue. Biden Delivers Scathing Attack Aimed At Republicans Ahead of Elections

With just two days to go before the midterm elections, Democrats are going full throttle to do everything in their will power to persuade voters to vote for them, despite polls showing Republicans are in the lead throughout the nation.

While delivering remarks in Illinois, President Joe Biden attacked Republicans, calling a group of protestors “idiots.” . . .

In response, the president went on to defend Social Security and Medicare, in which he accused Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla) and Ron Johnson (R-Wisc) of putting “on the chopping block.”

As Biden spoke for roughly only 23 minutes, his lies just kept getting bigger and bigger, claiming that “basic fundamental” rights are in jeopardy because of Republicans.

“We’re the only nation in the world that has come out of every crisis stronger than when we went in. The only one, because of who we are … we’ve gotta step up. We’ve gotta make sure we’re protecting the American people. Basic fundamental rights, they’re in jeopardy. Right now, we have a few more days, three more days,” Biden said. 3 in 4 Americans Say Transgender Insanity Targeting Children Has ‘Gone Too Far’

Abusing female athletes, subjecting youth to permanently sterilizing and deforming surgeries without parental consent, and preaching from top universities and hospitals that so-called gender identity is “the only medically supported determinant of sex” — while proponents of these left-wing agenda items are vocal, they only make up a small minority in America. According to a recent poll, the majority of Americans have had enough of radicalized policies and practices promoting gender dysphoria.

In partnership with McLaughlin and Associates, Summit.org published data last week from a mid-October, nationwide survey questioning Americans on the transgender agenda.

Three in four respondents (75 percent) agreed the movement has “gone too far” by encouraging minors to use drugs and surgery to alter the hormones and organs that reflect their sex. But cultural silencing on transgender issues has been a powerful motivator, leading 41 percent of participants who reported having an opinion to keep their views quiet, even amongst friends and family.

“The transgender movement may have set out to prevent bullying, but it has evolved into an attack on reality,” said Jeff Myers, president of Summit Ministries. “Severing the connection to reality is the first thing people do when they want to control what others think and do. TikTok Admits Its Chinese Staff Can Access User Data in Other Countries

Chinese-owned video app TikTok admitted that its staff in China has the ability to access the private accounts data in the United Kingdom and the European Union.

This comes after years of criticism from around the world, particularly in Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States over concerns that personal information could be passed on to the Chinese government.

The app is coming under intense scrutiny by government authorities in the West, as its parent company, ByteDance, repeatedly denies that it is controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

The social media company released a press statement on Nov. 2, stating that its “privacy policy” was “based on a demonstrated need to do their job.”

There Is Only One Way the Ukraine War Can End; Putin Issues Ominous Warning About Major Attack on Key Ukrainian City

How the Ukraine War Will End: In the heady days of September and October, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) won remarkable military victories over the Russian invaders, recapturing thousands of square miles of territory. Many in the West interpreted those successes as “irreversible” proof Kyiv was on its way to victory, and thus there was no need to consider a negotiated settlement with Moscow. The stark, cold realities of modern warfare, however, reveal that to the contrary, there is no end to the war in sight, and the most likely case remains – however unpopular in the Western world – a negotiated settlement.

The only question that remains: how many more Ukrainians must die before this harsh reality is grasped by the leaders of both warring parties?

There are a great many in the United States and the Western world that genuinely does believe Kyiv can win its war with Moscow and eventually drive all of Putin’s forces back to Russia. Last week Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reiterated his longstanding boast that his forces would “definitely liberate Crimea.” Former four-star U.S. general Ben Hodges predicted that by the end of this year, the UAF would “push Russian troops back to positions” they held prior to the start of the war and “by the middle of next year Ukrainians will be in Crimea.” . . .

I wrote last Spring that the combat fundamentals of war favored Russia over Ukraine, despite the fact they had recently been driven out of Kyiv and Kharkiv. Nothing in the intervening months have altered the strategic balance. Most wars throughout history swing back and forth, with each side winning some battles, rarely producing a steady trend towards a conclusive outcome.

The ultimate winners, however, are almost always determined by which side has the most fundamentals in its favor. Moreover, success in war usually turns on factors outside of the battlefield. Putin Issues Ominous Warning About Major Attack on Key Ukrainian City

By Newsweek. Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday that civilians in Kherson must be “removed” from the city as a battle for it could be coming soon.

“Now, of course, those who live in Kherson must be removed from the zone of the most dangerous actions,” the Russian leader said, adding that citizens “must not suffer” from attacks in the city, according to The Moscow Times.

Putin’s comments come as Russian troops have reportedly abandoned checkpoints in the occupied Ukrainian region of Kherson in recent days. In addition, Russian flags have been removed from the administration building in Kherson, as well as a city council building, according to reports.

Hispanics Abandon Democrats: ‘The Party Doesn’t Care About Us’

Hispanic Americans, gravitating to the nationalist-populist wing of the Republican Party, are turning on Democrats over the top issues in this year’s midterm elections: Crime, inflation, immigration, and a corporate-backed woke social agenda.

Tim Alberta for The Atlantic traveled across Arizona, Florida, and Texas to find that Hispanics who had been voting for Democrats for decades have since turned on the party as it moves toward an economic and social agenda embraced by white college-educated Americans.

The move, as The Atlantic details, is coalescing working and middle class Hispanics into the fold with white non-college-educated Americans to shape the GOP base.

In 2016, former President Trump won about 62 percent of white working class voters — more than any other Republican dating back to 1980. Still, as of 2016, there were 44 million white working class voters who were not registered to vote.

Turning out just 10 percent more of those non-registered white working class voters, coupled with a growing number of Hispanic Americans moving towards Republicans, could amount to a red wall that would be devastating for Democrats nationwide.
