First Disney Movie With Teen Gay Romance Falls Short at Box Office

Disney’s first animated film featuring a teen homosexual romance fell far short of expectations at the box office, bringing in under $20 million in tickets sold in its first five days in theaters, according to Nash Information Services.

“Strange World” is the latest product for a company that has not been shy about its commitment to progressive ideology. According to a survey by the American Conservative Values ETF (ACVF), an investment advisory service, conservatives now rate Disney as the “most woke or liberal” company in America.

Released on Nov. 23, the animated science-fiction adventure includes a teenage boy named Ethan who has same-sex desires. Ethan is one of the main characters, and his sexuality is a minor plot point in the movie, which mostly focuses on the connection between fathers and sons.

Variety magazine reported the film’s budget to be $180 million. Deadline Hollywood reported that the movie cost Disney $135 million.

“Strange World” features two scenes in which Ethan bats eyes at his gay teenage crush, Diazo. Every character in the movie unequivocally accepts Ethan’s homosexuality. (Read more from “First Disney Movie With Teen Gay Romance Falls Short at Box Office” HERE)

A Christian Nation No More? Census Numbers Fuel Debate on Britain’s Identity, Christianity’s Future

Its king is the “defender of the faith” and the supreme governor of the Church of England. More than half of the church’s archbishops of the Church of England sit by right in the House of Lords. The national anthem is “God Save the King.”

The sun may never have set on the old British Empire, but the light of Christianity is dimming in modern Britain — and much of the rest of the Western world that was the Christian faith’s heartland for more than a millennium.

An analysis of the official 2021 census found that less than half the population of England and Wales identify as “Christian” for the first time in centuries. The news this week shocked the country and fueled a larger debate about the future of Europe’s bedrock faith.

In 2011, 33.3 million people in England and Wales told census takers that they were Christians. A decade later, the number dropped to 27.5 million — a 13.1 percentage point decrease from 59.3% to 46.2% of the population. Those saying they had “no religion” rose from 14.1 million, 25.2% of the population, to 22.2 million, 37.2% of the population. The share of Muslims grew from 4.9% in 2011 to 6.5% last year, and self-described Hindus rose slightly from 1.5% to 1.7% of the population. (Read more from “A Christian Nation No More? HHS Secretary Indicates Biden Supports Using Taxpayer Money to Fund ‘Gender-Affirming’ Care for Minors

The Biden administration approves of using taxpayer dollars to fund sex-change surgeries on adolescents, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra disclosed this week.

During a House Committee on Education and Labor hearing in April, Rep. Mary Miller (R-Ill.) asked Becerra whether taxpayer dollars should fund “chemical castration and sex-change operations.”

“[The Biden administration] will continue to comply with the law and provide people with the protections they need to get the medical services they are entitled to,” the secretary responded.

At the time, Becerra did not provide clarifying details. . .

On Tuesday, Becerra submitted complete explanations to questions related to that hearing. Contained within the document was an unequivocal statement of support for taxpayer-funded sex change operations — even for minors. Gross Details Show How Much Rodent Poop Is Allowed in Food

A new Daily Mail report has revealed the vast chasm between what food regulators and inspectors consider good food, and what consumers think.

For example, rat hair, mold and insect parts, even rat poop, is allowed by law up to a certain level.

The report cited regulations that allow “gross stuff” in “YOUR favorite food,” including “Five RAT HAIRS in a jar of peanut butter, 30 insect limbs in a chocolate bar and rodent droppings in popcorn.” . . .

”Insect fragments include legs, antenna and other parts of the bugs that can find their way mixed into the products. These ‘food defects’ end up in food during the harvesting of raw materials and the manufacturing process,” the report said. . .

”Coffee — a morning staple for most working Americans — can legally be packaged with up to 10 percent of the beans being moldy or infested with insects,” the report explained. (Read more from “Details Show How Much Rodent Poop Is Allowed in Food” HERE)

Naval Academy Sparks Fury by Allegedly Denying Diplomas to Unvaccinated Midshipmen: ‘Absolutely Atrocious’

Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., said the U.S. Naval Academy potentially refusing to give diplomas to students who refused the COVID vaccine is “absolutely atrocious.”

Steube joined “Fox & Friends” Thursday to discuss the GOP’s efforts to get answers from the Naval Academy. The Army veteran said a constituent of his is being told she needs the vaccine in order to graduate.

“Think about spending four years of your life in college and then not even being able to get a degree for the work that you’ve done. This is a young woman who wants to serve her country and all because she doesn’t want to take the COVID vaccine based on religious exemptions that are being refused by this administration and the DOD.”

In a letter to Naval Vice Adm. Sean Buck Tuesday, Steube and other lawmakers said denying diplomas to otherwise qualified midshipmen is a waste of the country’s four-year investment in those people and will hurt military readiness at a time when all service branches are having trouble with recruitment and retention.

“Commandant of Midshipmen and their Judge Advocate General Officer (JAG) are denying Midshipmen from graduating due to their refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccination on religious grounds and are held as a delayed graduate until the injunction preventing the separation of Naval personnel is lifted,” the lawmakers charged. HHS Secretary Urges COVID Booster Every 2 Months

With only 14% of adults choosing to get the new bivalent, omicron-specific COVID shot, the White House has launched a campaign urging people to get a COVID booster once a year.

A tweet Monday from Vice President Kamala Harris said: “One shot, once a year – that’s all most people will need to stay protected from COVID year-long. Make a plan to get your shot at http://vaccines.gov.”

The following day, however, Biden’s secretary of Health and Human Services, Xavier Becerra, tweeted that if “it’s been over 2 months since your last dose, make a plan to get one now.”

A tweet from the CDC account said the same: “Did you know you should get an updated bivalent #COVID19 booster at least 2 months after completing your primary series or last booster? Don’t delay, find a vaccination location today at http://vaccines.gov.” (Read more from “Hhs Secretary Urges COVID Booster Every 2 Months” HERE)
