Texas Supreme Court Rules Against Father Seeking To Prevent ‘Chemical Castration’ of His Son

A Texas father has accused the Texas Supreme Court of being party to an “empire of child abuse” after the justices rejected his request to prevent his ex-wife from subjecting their son to chemical castration through the use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.

Jeff Younger, who has gained national attention for his opposition to his ex-wife’s efforts to identify their son, James, as a girl named Luna, and encourage him to undergo experimental medicalized gender transition, announced on Twitter Friday that “the Supreme Court of Texas denied my Mandamus, effectively terminating my parental rights.”

He further warned that “my children are now subject to being chemically castrated in California,” concluding that “Texas is an empire of child abuse, led by Texas judges.”

Younger’s ex-wife is Dr. Anne Georgulas, a pediatrician and non-biological mother of James and his twin brother, Jude. . .

Noting that the effort to secure a court order seeking the return of his ex-wife and their children to Texas stems from a concern that their move to California “will bring about the medical ‘transitioning’ of his son,” the Texas Supreme Court contended that such an order is not necessary because Younger “is already in possession of a court order prohibiting Mother from doing precisely what he fears she will do with his son.” It also addresses Younger’s reservations about the now-enacted Senate Bill 107. DOJ Hiding Hundreds of Hunter Biden, James Biden Records, Lawyer Claims

A Colorado lawyer says the Justice Department is trying to conceal hundreds of “potentially responsive” documents about gifts received by first son Hunter Biden and his uncle James Biden from contacts in China, Russia and Ukraine, according to a new report Monday. ​

Kevin Evans sued the Justice Department in March after he said the agency failed to comply with his Freedom of Information Act request for records about the overseas business relationships of Joe Biden’s son and brother, the Daily Mail reported.

Evans said he sought documents “pertaining to any relationship, communication, gift(s), and/or remuneration in any form​” from China, Russia or Ukraine.​

Five Radical, Woke California Laws Just Went Into Effect

It’s January 1, which means five more woke laws in California go into effect, making the state even more progressive than it was. . .

The first law, which was signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif) in September, is SB 107, which makes California a “sanctuary state” for transgender kids.

It will protect the use of drugs or surgery to provide “gender-affirming care” to kids who travel to California from states that have restricted allowing minors to receive the life-alternating surgery.

SB 1375 will allow nurses to perform abortions without the help of a medical license doctor, which was passed alongside a referendum guaranteeing the right to abortion and contraception. . .

Jan. 6 Transcripts: Milley Blasts Flynn for ‘Unnerving’ Statements Leading Up to Capitol Riot

Gen. Mark Milley used his interview with the Jan. 6 committee to excoriate former national security adviser Michael Flynn in the lead-up to the Capitol riot, calling his statements “unnerving” and “highly wrong.”

On Dec. 18, 2020, Flynn appeared on Newsmax, on which he said former President Donald Trump had the authority to use “military capabilities” in swing states to “rerun an election in each of those states.” . . .

According to the latest tranche of transcripts released by the Jan. 6 committee, Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, thought Flynn’s comments were “unnerving to people, right, to the American people.”

“I think it’s incumbent upon me as a senior leader of the United States military to assure people — through media is a vehicle of doing it; through Congress is another vehicle of doing it — to assure people that the United States military was not going to be involved,” he told the committee on Nov. 17, 2021. . .

Asked about his fears following Flynn’s comments, he said, “Well, I mean, worst case would be — well, frankly, you saw close to the worst case on the 6th, which is the usurpation of the Constitution of the United States, the overthrow of the Constitution of the United States, and the illegal extension of power, the failure to conduct a peaceful transfer of power, a long-standing U.S. tradition. Zelensky Signs New Anti-Press Law Allowing Him to Block News Websites

A new law signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy could give Ukraine’s government powers to block media outlets.

Zelenskyy signed the law on Thursday after Ukraine’s parliament passed it earlier in December, The New York Times reported. Lawmakers have touted the bill as an effort to bring Ukraine’s media laws closer to European Union standards as the country makes a bid to join the 27-member bloc. They have also argued that it will help counter Russian propaganda as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine nears its one-year anniversary.

But organizations representing journalists say the law will erode press freedoms in Ukraine. Under the law, Ukraine’s media regulator could block websites that are not registered with the government as news organizations, The Kyiv Independent reported on Friday.

The law is at odds with freedoms given to the press in other parts of Europe, the European Federation of Journalists said in a statement on Friday, according to the Times.

Ukrainian lawmakers have been considering a new law regulating the media since 2019, when Zelenskyy directed parliament to draft it. The Laughable Pivot Some in the Media Are Taking Over Trump’s Tax Returns

. . .The liberal obsession with Trump’s tax returns did lead to media leaks. The New York Times and other outlets obtained past returns, with the Times proceeding to write lengthy exposes that no one read. It also found no ties to Russia, which further torched the collusion delusion that engulfed progressive America.

Now, with no evidence of felonious activity, the Times is pivoting to say that the latest trove of returns, the big reveal, showed that the former president’s business prowess isn’t what was advertised (via NYT):

House Democrats released six years of former President Donald J. Trump’s tax records on Friday, offering new insight into his business dealings that further undermined his long-cultivated image as a wildly successful businessman.

The release on Friday morning contained thousands of pages of tax documents, including individual returns for Mr. Trump and his wife, Melania, as well as business returns for several of the hundreds of companies that make up his sprawling business organization. It followed the release of reports from Democrats on the Ways and Means Committee that showed Mr. Trump had paid a total of $1.1 million in federal income taxes in the first three years of his presidency, but paid no tax in 2020 as his income dwindled and losses mounted.

The document disclosure drew rebukes and threats of retaliation from Mr. Trump and his Republican allies in Congress, who suggested that once their party takes over the House on Jan. 3, they may seek to disclose tax returns filed by Democratic politicians, Supreme Court justices and members of President Biden’s family, such as his son Hunter.

US Army: Vaccine Mandate Repeal Does Not Apply to National Guard, Reserves

The Army’s latest guidance on COVID-19 states that a provision in Congress’ defense bill overturning the service-wide vaccination mandate does not apply to orders given to the National Guard or Reserves, according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The 2023 National Defense Authorization Act ordered the Department of Defense (DOD) to rescind the Aug. 24, 2021 memo ordering full COVID-19 vaccination for military servicemembers, including the Ready Reserve and National Guard. However, an update to the Army’s virus policy, dated Dec. 22, says the provision does not address a second memo from November applying the mandate to the National Guard and Reserves and preventing unvaccinated members mobilized under state, rather than federal, orders from being paid, the documents show.

The Department of Defense formally withdrew the COVID-19 vaccine mandate after President Joe Biden signed the bill into law on Dec. 23, an official policy document shows.

“The FY 2023 NDAA does not address the Secretary of Defense’s directive regarding COVID-19 vaccination for members of the national guard and ready reserve (Annex AAAA),” according to FRAGO 35, an update to HQDA EXORD 225-21, which describes the Pentagon’s COVID-19 policy, that was obtained by the DCNF.

On December 18, Twitter CEO Elon Musk created a poll on the social media platform asking his 123 million followers if he should resign from his position. Regardless of the outcome, he vowed to abide by the results.

Over 57% of voters declared that Elon Musk should step down. A few days later, Musk confirmed his future resignation. . .

More likely candidates include several people from Musk’s inner circle, such as entrepreneur Jason Calacanis, Craft Ventures partner David Sacks, Boring Company President Steve Davis, and research scientist Lex Fridman.

Jason Calacanis, one of Musk’s closest friends and allies, is an entrepreneur, angel investor, podcaster, and writer. While Calacanis does not hold an official role at Twitter, he has previously expressed interest in becoming CEO, according to a text exchange between Calacanis and Musk. This Suddenly Popular Trend Is Too ‘Satanic’ Even for Church of Satan

Although today’s widespread transgender recruitment craze targeting schoolchildren is enthusiastically supported by America’s governmental, academic and cultural elites, many conservatives and Christians condemn the movement as “satanic.”

Indeed, considering the irreversible bodily mutilations and “shockingly high” suicide rate, the “satanic” label isn’t surprising, with columnist and podcaster Jason Whitlock telling Tucker Carlson, “All of this, to me, is satanic – the targeting of young people and children that are very impressionable at a very early age.” Echoes author and talk-host Candace Owens, “When I look at the face of this trans movement, and this trans agenda, and confusing kids … when I see that, I think this is actually satanic.” Even Rev. Franklin Graham decries the reality that “Students are being encouraged and groomed by older students to change their sexual identity,” adding, “Satan, the evil one, is a deceiver and brings chaos, disorder, and confusion. It is not a happy lifestyle when you reject God’s original design.” . . .

It must be, because the transgender grooming craze, from its “drag queen story hours” for toddlers, to the systematic sexualization of public school students, to the explicit encouragement of preteens and teens too young to drive to “identify” as transgender and have healthy body parts amputated – all regarded by many as serious forms of child sexual abuse – appears to be too satanic even for the Church of Satan.

At least, that’s according to the organization’s official tenets as formulated and published by Anton Szandor LaVey, who founded the Church of Satan in 1966 and remained its high priest until his death in 1997.
