Target Faces Backlash Over ‘Pride’ Collection Designer Behind ‘Satan Respects Pronouns’ Shirts

Target is facing backlash over a designer featured in the company’s “Pride” collection who appears to have created products with Satanic imagery.

Scarlett Johnson, an activist from Wisconsin, went viral on Twitter this weekend with a thread explaining why she is “done” with the retailer. In particular, Johnson took issue with Target listing three items on its online store from Abprallen, a London-based designer of products that sometimes mix imagery and messages about gender with the macabre.

None of the three colorful apparel items for sale under the Abprallen label on Target’s website have Satanic imagery. The catalogue includes a “We Belong Everywhere” mini messenger bag for $18, another is a “Too Queer for Here” tote bag for $18, and a third is a “Cure Transphobia, Not Trans People” sweatshirt for $25. All are listed under “Pride Adult Clothing.”

But Johnson highlighted other products for sale that are shown on the Abprallen website and associated Instagram account with about 25,000 followers. Among them is a skeleton draped in rainbow colors, a “Trans Witches For Abortion” badge, and a “Satan respects pronouns” T-shirt.

Whistleblower Says FBI Has Created ‘Orwellian Atmosphere’ to Silence Dissent

An FBI whistleblower alleged that the bureau has created an “Orwellian atmosphere” that has silenced dissent and retaliated against individuals who came forward with claims about the law enforcement agency.

During Thursday’s House “Weaponization of Government” panel hearing, FBI Special Agent Garret O’Boyle said the bureau engaged in a “smear campaign” against him, adding in a later interview with Fox News there are many agents who support his allegations but are “too afraid” to speak out.

“Too many in the FBI aren’t willing to sacrifice for the hard right over the easy wrong. They see what becomes of whistleblowers, how the FBI destroys their careers, suspends them under false pretenses, takes their security clearance and pay with no true options for real recourse or remedy,” he said during last week’s committee hearing. “This is by design. It creates an Orwellian atmosphere that silences opposition and discussion.”

In response to a request for comment from The Epoch Times about the allegations, the FBI denied having acted in a retaliatory manner against whistleblowers. “The FBI’s mission is to uphold the Constitution and protect the American people,” an FBI spokesperson said last week. “The FBI has not and will not retaliate against individuals who make protected whistleblower disclosures.”

O’Boyle, Special Agent Stephen Friend, Supervisory Intelligence Analyst George Hill, Staff Operations Specialist Marcus Allen, as well as unnamed whistleblowers, have alleged that the FBI is beset by politicization and top officials are targeting agents for having conservative political beliefs, according to a Judiciary panel report. Report: Hunter Biden Claimed He Was Broke at Child Support Hearing After Flying on Private Jet (VIDEO)

Hunter Biden claimed he is quite poor during a child-support hearing in Arkansas despite reportedly traveling there in luxury.

He apparently flew to and from the courthouse on a private jet that belongs to his friend, Kevin Morris, the New York Post reported Saturday.

The outlet said the jet left Los Angeles the morning of April 30 and flew to Washington, DC. It reportedly took off again an hour later on its way to Arkansas. It landed at an airport located just over 30 miles from the Independence County Courthouse where the hearing took place the following day.

Not long after the meeting, the jet took off for D.C.

Americans seem more miserable than ever, but they don’t have to be.

A new Gallup poll out Wednesday shows rates of depression have reached record highs, with nearly 1 in 3 U.S. adults reporting a depression diagnosis at least once in their lifetimes. Nearly 18 percent reported treatment. . .

A groundbreaking study published in Molecular Psychiatry journal last summer exposed antidepressants as having scarcely more effect than placebos. The findings led some psychologists to reject the long-held belief that depression is caused by a chemical imbalance.

Instead, it’s possible the problem lies in our circumstances, and in our approach to those circumstances. One study from researchers in Saudi Arabia published last year found antidepressants don’t even raise the quality of life over time. . .

Gallup’s findings that depression is on the rise happen to coincide with a dramatic climb in internet use. About 1 in 3 U.S. adults report a “constant” presence online, according to the Pew Research Center. What does that even look like? If 30 percent of Americans spend all of their time watching other people live their lives on screen, it’s not very surprising that nearly 30 percent report lifetime depression. Just one hour of daily screen time is correlated with lower psychological well-being in minors aged 2-17. (Read more from “Depressed? Pulitzer Prize Goes to Queer Troll Author: ‘Sissy Porn Did Make Me Trans,’ ‘Getting F**Ked Makes You Female’

The Pulitzer Prizes embraced the transgender agenda in a major way this year by awarding transgender “woman” Andrea Long Chu with the prize for criticism, recognizing “her” book reviews that have appeared in Vox Media-owned New York magazine and its site, Vulture.

But since the awards were announced this month, Chu’s win has spawned a growing backlash among women who have expressed both bewilderment and disgust, especially over Chu’s past writings in which he has claimed that anyone can be a woman and and described how pornography addiction led to his desire to become a “woman.”

“Sissy porn did make me trans,” Chu once wrote. . .

For starters, Chu is a heterosexual man who identifies as a woman, though he has called himself a “trans lesbian.” By one account, the Duke University and NYU graduate’s birth name was Andrew. Even before joining New York magazine in 2021, he was a darling of the cultural elite due to this essays on feminism and gender transitioning.

He received wide acclaim for his 2019 book Females in which he delves into detail about what kinds of porn he likes to masturbate to. One of his favorite genres is “sissy porn,” which involves men wearing women’s underwear and being forced into submissive or feminine roles. Air Force To Navy On Drag Queens: Hold My Bud Light

In the latest attempt to “rainbow” the U.S. military, the Department of the Air Force has authorized its bases to hold celebrations “in honor of Pride Month.” The announcement came days after the Navy got busted for using a drag queen to recruit new sailors into service.

On May 3, the department issued a memo reaffirming the branch’s recognition of June as “Pride Month.” The memo also includes a provision that “empower[s]” Air Force installation commanders to “plan and conduct” so-called “appropriate activities” on bases to commemorate “rainbow” month.

“During this time, we celebrate the progress we have made towards inclusivity, commemorate the contributions of LGBTQ+ Americans, and recognize the obstacles they have faced and overcome along the way,” the memo reads.

While authorized only a few weeks ago, efforts to organize Air Force-sanctioned “Pride Month” celebrations are already underway. Most recently, the office of Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, obtained a flyer promoting LGBT-themed events at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. According to the flyer, base events will include a “‘Pride Game Night’ on June 10, a Unity in Diversity Color Run on June 16, and a panel discussion titled ‘Our History, Our time!’ on June 28th.”

“What’s next, rainbow uniforms during pride month?” Roy said. “The Air Force and Defense Department sanctions this ridiculous use of taxpayer dollars and then expects members of Congress who represent Americans who are livid about this stuff to green light an $800 billion plus DOD budget.” (Read more from “Air Force To Navy On Drag Queens: Hold My Bud Light” HERE)

GOP Rep. Threatens to Cut FBI Funding After Whistleblower Testimony

Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan threatened Sunday to cut the FBI’s funding in the wake of FBI whistleblower testimony and Special Counsel John Durham’s report.

Jordan appeared on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” to speak with host Maria Bartiromo about his plans for the FBI as Chair of the House Judiciary Committee and Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

“What are you going to do about it? We just spoke with Kevin McCarthy about his call with Christopher Wray. It is what is is: Wray is still running the FBI. You’ve said you want to use the appropriations process to fix this. How will that fix things?” Bartiromo asked.

“Well, in the end, money always gets people’s attention. And so, what we’re going to have to do is say, ‘Hey, FBI, you can’t use federal tax dollars, you can’t use the American tax dollars for this kind of activity.’ We got to limit how they spend the money,” Jordan replied. Biden Accuses Republicans of Sabotaging Debt Limit to Get Him Out of Office

President Joe Biden claimed Sunday some Republicans are willing to allow the U.S. to default on its debt for the first time to prevent him from winning another presidential term.

If the economy does default, Biden argued he would be “blameless,” and called for Republicans to move their positions.

“On the merits, based on what I’ve offered, I would be blameless,” Biden responded to a question from Fox’s Peter Doocy. “On the politics of it, no one would be blameless. And by the way, that’s one of the — one of the things that some are contemplating.”

“I think there are some MAGA Republicans in the House who know the damage that it would do to the economy and because I am president — and presidents are responsible for everything — Biden would take the blame. President Joe Biden’s critics called out the world leader for telling a reporter to “shush up” while he was meeting with the Australian prime minister at the latest G-7 summit in Japan.

Annoyed Twitter users slammed Biden as condescending for the command, with some pointing out that if former President Donald Trump had done that to an overzealous member of the press, he wouldn’t have heard the end of it from his usual critics.

The brief but tense moment happened while Biden was speaking with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese this weekend at the G-7 Summit in Hiroshima, Japan.

The first reporter asked, “Mr. President, how concerned are you about the debt talks at home?” Initially, Biden appeared cordial, gently replying, “Not at all.” In response to a follow-up on the topic, Biden claimed, “This goes in stages. I’ve been in these negotiations before.” . . .

New Poll Revealing Biden’s Approval Rating Leaves Leftist Host Stunned: ‘Lowest for Any American President’

A new poll revealing President Joe Biden’s shocking low approval numbers leaves CNN in disbelief— causing the liberal network to admit the Democratic Party is in trouble. . .

“In the first real snapshot, if you will, of President Biden’s standing since his reelection announcement, voters are saying he has real work to do,” CNN host Kate Bolduan said. “And that’s even among his own party.”

The poll found that 58 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents say they want their party to nominate someone else.

In addition, Biden’s approval rating remains at a historic low of 36 percent.

“Biden’s overall approval rating remains underwater,” Bolduan added. “That’s the lowest for any American president at this point in their first term.
