First son Hunter Biden dropped thousands of dollars on extravagant purchases — including hot tubs, lingerie and cigars — despite his family’s “precarious financial situation” as he divorced his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, emails from his infamous laptop show.

The now-53-year-old’s unrestrained spending, as detailed by Buhle’s attorney, Rebekah Sullivan, came during the time period when Hunter was apparently in business with convicted Romanian businessman Gabriel Popoviciu, as well as generating money from his board seat with Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings.

“Given that Hunter deposited $126,545 in the middle of November [2016] into the TD account in his sole name, and spent the funds on extravagances such as Georgetown Tobacco $236.81, Cardtronics $605.50, Ladybird Lingerie (not for Kathleen) $75.00, Hus [sic] Shoes $846, the Hot Tub Store $7,450.92, Sierra Mountain Outdoors $1,245.22, Toujours Lingerie (not for Kathleen) $456.75, and Kirna Zabete $1,202, I do not think it is fair to ask Kathleen to cut back on her expenses, so Hunter can continue blowing through the family funds,” Sullivan argued in an email to Hunter lawyer Sarah Mancinelli in January of 2017.

Biden’s lavish spending spree at high-end retailers across the country — from DC’s ritzy Georgetown neighborhood to San Francisco to Nantucket Island — came at the time he was dating his late brother Beau Biden’s widow, Hallie Biden. Trump Appeals E. Jean Carroll Verdict; Poll: Majority of Voters Think Trial in E. Jean Carroll Case Was Unfair

By Daily Caller. Former President Donald Trump appealed a New York jury’s decision holding him liable for sexual battery and defamation against former Elle Magazine writer E. Jean Carroll.

The jury awarded Carroll $5 million in damages relating to her allegations that Trump raped her inside a dressing room at Manhattan’s Bergdorf Goodman department store in 1995 or 1996. The nine-person jury did not find the former president liable for rape. Trump’s attorneys filed a notice of appeal with the 2nd U.S. District Court of Appeals Thursday, CNN reported.

The former president, who is running for re-election in 2024, has said he does not know Carroll personally and alleged she made up the story in an “election interference” attempt.

“My poll numbers went up and they went up with the other fake charge too. Because what’s happening is they’re doing this for election interference,” Trump said during a CNN Republican Presidential town hall Wednesday evening.

Poll: Majority of Voters Think Trial in E. Jean Carroll Case Was Unfair

By Breitbart. “The overwhelming majority” of Republican primary voters do not believe former President Donald Trump sexually assaulted E. Jean Carroll, according to a poll conducted the day he was found liable in their civil trial, which they also believe was unfair.

The Co-Efficient poll, an internal survey commissioned by the Trump campaign, shows that Trump’s favorability rating among likely Republican primary voters is 63 percent – “the strongest” in the GOP primary field. He holds a net favorability rating of plus 37 percent.

Of those who find Trump favorable, not a single percent say they believe Carroll. Conversely, 87 percent of the sub-demographic believes Trump, as do 14 percent of those who find Trump unfavorable, while 50 percent believe Carroll. Another 36 percent are unsure of who to believe. Among those who have a neutral view of Trump, nearly six in ten say they believe him, versus just two percent who believe Carroll.

The polling outfit also asked voters if they think Trump received a fair trial, again finding the vast majority of those who perceive him positively (90 percent) do not. One in four Republicans who feel negatively about him says that he received an unfair trial, as do 77 percent of those who have neutral feelings toward the 45th president. Florida Publix Refuses to Write ‘Trans’ on Customers’ Cake

A Florida bakery refused to write the word “trans” on a cake requested by two social workers who had hoped to bring the treat to an event they had organized for the local transgender community.

Dandelion Hill, co-founder of the Orlando-based non-profit Peer Support Space, was heading to the organization’s Trans Joy Event on April 26, and stopped at the Colonialtown Publix to pick up a cake for the celebration.

Hill, who is trans and uses they/them pronouns, asked if the bakery could write a simple, “wholesome” message in pink icing on the sheet cake: “Trans people deserve joy.” . . .

After waiting for what “felt like an eternity,” a manager from the bakery “comes back, looks me directly in the eyes and says, ‘I’m sorry we can’t write that. Publix is not allowed to take a stance on this issue,’” Hill said. . .

Homeless Man Charged With Hate Crimes for Defecating on Pride Flags

Police in New York City charged a homeless man with multiple hate crimes Wednesday for defecating on a restaurant’s LGBTQ flag, then using another pride flag to wipe himself.

Fred Innocent is accused of taking two flags off a table at Buceo 95’s dining shed in the Upper West Side on April 15 and doing his business on them, according to authorities. Migrant Bus Arrives at Kamala Harris’ Doorstep Hours Before End of Title 42

A busload of migrants from Texas arrived at Vice President Kamala Harris’s residence in Washington, DC on Thursday hours before Title 42 was set to expire.

More than 30 migrants – men, women and children mostly from Venezuela – were dropped off outside the US Naval Observatory, which hosts the official residence of the vice president, according to NBC News.

The outlet reports that the bus was the second to arrive at the Naval Observatory in less than 24 hours, with the first vehicle dropping off almost 40 individuals.

Texas has been bussing migrants to Harris’ house and other liberal enclaves since last year in an effort to demonstrate the challenge that border states face due to the immigration crisis and dispute the Biden administration’s claims that the border is secure.

Robert Kennedy Jr. Repeats Claim CIA Assassinated JFK, Vows to ‘Break up’ the Central Intelligence Agency

Robert Kennedy Jr. repeated the claim that the Central Intelligence Agency assassinated President John F. Kennedy — his uncle. The Democratic presidential candidate also vowed to “break up” the CIA if he is elected.

Kennedy is the son of Robert Kennedy — who was murdered during his own presidential campaign on June 5, 1968. Kennedy recalled that his father suspected that the CIA was behind the JFK assassination on Nov. 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas.

“It was my father’s first instinct that the agency had killed his brother,” Kennedy said of the CIA during an appearance on “Hannity.”

Biden’s Latest Effort to Make Everything You Need More Expensive

The Supreme Court saved consumers billions of dollars from higher prices when, less than a year ago, it struck down the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Power Plan rule, which would have shut down hundreds of coal and gas power plants nationwide.

Now, under President Joe Biden’s direction, the EPA is back with a new regulatory scheme designed to accomplish the same result through more direct means. The end result should be the same. The Supreme Court will again strike down Biden’s illegal usurpation of congressional power, saving consumers billions of dollars in higher energy costs.

The last time the EPA tried to shut down coal and gas power plants, it used the 1970 Clean Air Act to establish an industrywide carbon cap-and-trade system for electricity production. This Clean Power Plan did not identify how specific power plants should cut carbon emissions, but the plan required them to do so and created a market for them to offset emissions by investing in clean power or buying carbon emission allowances. The scheme closely resembled a cap-and-trade plan that Congress had just rejected. Seven years later, in West Virginia v. EPA, the court invalidated the CPP, holding that the Clean Air Act was not intended to create an industrywide cap-and-trade regime for any one pollutant and that the EPA was exceeding its statutory authority by creating one for carbon.

This time, the EPA has abandoned its cap-and-trade approach and is instead following more closely to the original design of the Clean Air Act. Under this, the EPA may identify a “best system of emission reduction” for a pollutant and then force power plants to adopt it. This usually means installing a proven pollution control technology. FDA Drops Special Blood Donor Assessments for Gay People

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ended special requirements for gay blood donors Thursday and will now use the same eligibility questionnaire for all donors regardless of sexual orientation, according to a press release.

Under the new rules, every blood donor will be asked the same questions about recent sexual history and time-based deferrals for men who have sex with men and women who have sex with women will be eliminated, according to the FDA. The agency predicts this will result in a larger pool of blood donors.

Every donor, regardless of sexual orientation, will be asked whether they have had sex with a new sexual partner or multiple partners in the past three months, and those who have will then be asked if they have had anal sex in the last three months; those who say yes to both prompts will be deferred from donating, according to the FDA. Prospective blood donors will be able to give blood regardless of sexual orientation so long as they say no to both prompts.

Levi’s to Expand ‘Gender Fluid’ Clothing Line

The woke CEO of the iconic clothing brand Levi’s has watched the fallout from Bud Light’s partnership with trans-identifying influencer Dylan Mulvaney — and it seems he wants to follow suit.

On Wednesday, Levi’s CEO Chip Bergh, 65, attended Axios BFD, a “dealmaker summit” designed to bring together “the biggest influencers, disruptors and newsmakers in the deal-making world.” While there, he was asked about branding in light of Bud Light’s controversial “marketing stunt” with Mulvaney. “How do you market products in a world where people are more aware of their gender identities?” wondered Hope King of Axios.

Bergh’s response was surprising. Though Bud Light sales have cratered since Mulvaney promoted the beer in a couple of social media videos in early April, Bergh announced that Levi’s will continue to grow its small “gender fluid” clothing line to satisfy “consumer appetite.”

“We are building out slowly,” Bergh said. “It started with a small collection of gender neutral or gender fluid line — and there’s definitely consumer appetite for that. And we’re there for that.”

Federal Agents Placed on Standby in Case of Riots as Title 42 Ends

After days of panic, with thousands of migrants crossing over the southern border in a last-minute attempt to claim asylum before the rules changed, Title 42 has ended.

In the final hours before the pandemic-era measure expired, forces along the border fortified their posts with barbed wire, concrete barriers and heavily armed teams patrolling their front lines.

Agents in tactical gear also performed rehearsals for how to deal with rioters or mobs, should migrants attempt to descend en masse across the border.

Federal agents also remain on standby in case of riots, sources told The Post.
