Statue Honoring Revolutionary War Hero Removed After Nearly a Century

A statue dedicated to Revolutionary War hero Gen. Philip Schuyler that has stood over Albany’s city hall for nearly a century was removed on Saturday morning. The statue was removed because Schuyler owned slaves.

A moving crew hoisted the 9-foot-tall statue from its pedestal and loaded it onto a trailer around 8 a.m. on Saturday. The pedestal and a plaque were also removed from the site in New York state’s capitol. The removal of Schuyler’s statue took about three hours and reportedly cost the city $40,000.

The Gen. Philip Schuyler statue will be temporarily housed inside an undisclosed storage facility until a permanent location is determined. The city council will launch a monuments commission to decide where the statue will be relocated to.

The statue, which was originally erected in 1925, was removed because Schuyler was one of Albany’s largest slave owners.

The decision to remove the statue was first announced in the summer of 2020, which was a response to the death of George Floyd and the subsequent riots that ravaged U.S. cities. Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan, a Democrat, ordered the removal of the statue in June 2020. However, the removal was reportedly held up because an engineering study took years. John F Kennedy, the thirty-fifth President of the United States, got assassinated in 1963 during his incumbency. And just when the country seemed to recover, five years later, his younger brother, Robert F Kennedy, a Senator and United States Attorney General, was shot dead. Many conspiracy theories and concoctions abound over the President’s death. Over the years, a similar number found their way to having a bearing on the country’s sixty-fourth Attorney General. The latter’s son, Robert Kennedy Jr., who announced his candidacy for the 2024 Presidential elections, however, believes there’s more to it than meets the eye.

For Americans, the Kennedys are the closest thing to a Royal Family. The Irish-Roman Catholic family reached the American shores sometime in the mid-nineteenth century. Over the next century, they established their name in politics. But sadly, the clan found itself sunk in gloom with the assassinations. Reams of literature and reel appeared on two of the most sensational killings in American political history.

The court of law held Palestinian-Jordanian Sirhan Sirhan responsible for the assassination of Robert F Kennedy. Now seventy-nine years old, he is serving time in a Californian correctional facility. So Robert F Kennedy Jr. met Sirhan in 2017. As per a 2018 article in The Washington Post, he believes that the investigations need a revisit since the crime scene included a second gunman.

@CitizenFreePres shared a ten-minute footage of Kennedy Jr. in discussion with Mike Tyson and Eben Britton on June 6. The message read, “YouTube has deleted this interview between Robert F Kennedy Jr and Mike Tyson. In it, RFK JR claimed the CIA assassinated his father.” As he took them through the historical incident, around the three-minute mark, the environmental lawyer said that his father received four shots, and the person who fired stood behind him. He fired around the same time as Sirhan Sirhan started, which was a distraction.

Pride Parade Activist in Bondage Gear Attacks Gay People for Adopting a ‘White Supremacy’ Narrative

A Pride Parade activist wearing bondage gear told Daily Caller interviewer Joel Gibbons that gay people are adopting a “narrative” of “white supremacy.”

Gibbons asked the activist if there is a “schism” between gay men and the transgender movement. The activist said gay men “have largely forgotten” about transgender people while assimilating into a so-called “white narrative.”

“So you’re saying the gays have gone white, that’s what you’re telling me,” Gibbons said at the 2023 Pride Parade in Washington, D.C. “There’s black guys that are gay, Latino guys that are gay. Is that the same, like … do you know what I’m saying? When I ask that?” . . .

“But what does that have to do with gay guys coming over to being anti-trans people?” Gibbons asked.

Appearing stumped, the activist thought about the question for about 10 seconds and then criticized gay men who have allegedly “assimilated” into a “white supremacy” narrative. College Drag Show Attended by Kids Featured Performer Lifting Weights With Bare Breasts

Oregon State University allegedly hosted an “illegal” drag show featuring nudity – where one performer used her bare breasts to lift weights despite children being in attendance.

The show, held June 2 at the university’s LaSells Stewart Center in Corvallis, Oregon, was organized by OSU’s LGBTQ+ Rainbow Continuum, which advertised it as “ILLEGAL.”

“Queer people across the nation are under legislative attack, but we will NOT let them stop our partying!” it said on Instagram.

“We’ve got a great lineup of local queer talent sure to raise the roof just in time for it to get replaced,” it said.

The student-funded group advertised the event as open to “all ages,” while noting that it would contain “adult themes,” according to Campus Reform, a conservative news site about higher education. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Violated Hatch Act: Watchdog

A government watchdog has concluded that White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre violated the Hatch Act – a federal law that restricts federal employees from certain political activities that may influence elections – in the run-up to the 2022 midterm elections.

The Office of Special Counsel made the determination this month that Jean-Pierre’s repeated use of the words “mega MAGA Republicans” when referring to Republican candidates violated the Hatch Act, according to an NBC News report on Monday.

“Because Ms. Jean‐Pierre made the statements while acting in her official capacity, she violated the Hatch Act prohibition against using her official authority or influence for the purpose of interfering with or affecting the result of an election,” Ana Galindo‐Marrone, the chief of OSC’s Hatch Act Unit, wrote in a letter dated June 7, according to the news outlet.

The group added that Jean-Pierre’s remarks were “an inappropriate attempt to influence the vote.”

Tulsi Gabbard: Trump Indictment May Be ‘Final Nail’ in U.S. Democracy’s ‘Coffin’ (VIDEO)

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard slammed the recent indictment of former President Donald Trump, claiming the move is “not something that should happen” in the U.S., while warning it may be the “final nail in the coffin of our democracy.”

Speaking this weekend at the 14th annual Western Conservative Summit in Denver, Colorado — one of the largest annual gatherings of conservatives outside Washington, DC — former congresswoman and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard began by noting her love for the United States, her military service, and her later role in congress.

“I love our country, and I’ve proudly sworn in oath twice: first, as a soldier enlisting because of the terrorist attacks on 911, and again, as a member of Congress where I served for eight years, that oath swearing to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” she said.

Gabbard, who formally announced her departure from the Democrat Party in October, then warned of current threats to freedom and the Constitution, which are “not coming from some far-off land or some foreign country.”

U.S. Navy Drag Queen ‘Digital Ambassador’ Accused of Violating Military Code, Legal Group Demands Authorities Investigate Sailor

A drag queen purportedly hired as a “digital ambassador” for the U.S. Navy to increase recruitment numbers was accused on Monday of violating several military rules, including promoting partisan politics and expressing open contempt for his command.

America First Legal sent a letter to top Navy officials demanding they launch an investigation into Yeoman Second Class Joshua Kelley, who also dresses as a drag queen named “Harpy Daniels.”

Attorney Jacob Meckler for the legal group argues Kelley, who joined the Navy in 2016, allegedly violated critical requirements on several occasions that contravene the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which makes clear anyone transgressing the federal law should be court-martialed.

“[H]e has repeatedly engaged in partisan activity, behaved in ways that discredit the military, publicly criticized his command, and misused his uniform for personal gain,” Meckler wrote in the letter. “Based on the Department’s past actions with respect to politically or culturally conservative service members, an investigation is appropriate here.”

According to the legal group, Kelley has tweeted several times about his support for Democrats, graphic photos, and descriptions of sexual acts. Many of Kelley’s Instagram and Twitter posts also appeared to include images or videos of the sailor in uniform, with others depicting him in drag. Biden Pride Event Devolves Into Transgender Topless Show Defacing White House Lawn

Transgender activists were seen bearing their topless chests at a White House LGBTQ Pride Event hosted by President Joe Biden over the weekend.

Posted to TikTok on Monday by transgender model Rose Montoya, the now-viral video featured the activist and several other transgender activists showing off their pride by shimmying in front of the camera with their naked chests. Montoya, a male model living as a woman, notably covered the nipples of his fake breasts while the other two, women living as men, proudly revealed their scars from breast reduction surgery.

“Are we topless at the White House?” Montoya could be heard saying as the camera revealed the half-naked activists dancing in front of the White House.

Transgender Nashville Shooter Autopsy Obtained

Townhall has exclusively obtained trans-identified mass shooter Audrey “Aiden” Elizabeth Hale’s autopsy report months after the murderer massacred six victims, including three children, at a private Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee.

Though the cause of death was apparent, a hail of gunshots from a pair of heroic Nashville police officers who didn’t hesitate to neutralize Hale, the public has been left wondering what drugs were in the mass shooter’s system, if any, at the time of the Covenant School rampage. Included in the 11-page document from the Davidson County Medical Examiner’s office, a toxicology report found that the blood-, urine- and vitreous-humor analysis performed on Hale did not detect abuse of substances or alcohol.

Other sections document Hale’s gunshot wounds in graphic detail, a sketch of a woman’s body showing where Hale sustained injuries during the police shootout, and the case’s summary, which notes that Hale was “a transgender person” “assigned female at birth.” An external examination describes Hale’s clothing worn at the time of death, as security cameras at the school captured.

Notably, along with a black tactical-style vest, Hale was wearing a white T-shirt with words, drawings, and numbers handwritten on it; a pink-tan bra, also covered with a drawing and handwritten words; a black tee with “a firing range logo” printed on the left-front side; a utility belt with holsters attached; orange earplugs; a red baseball cap, worn backwards; black-and-blue partial gloves; and camouflage pants. She was carrying a pocket knife with “Aiden,” her transgender name, monogrammed on it. GOP 2024 Candidates Cautious About Committing U.S. Troops to Taiwan

Republican presidential candidates are wary of committing to sending U.S. forces to Taiwan in the wake of a Chinese attack, telling the Daily Caller that they would not go as far as President Joe Biden’s promise to defend the island nation.

Biden has repeatedly said the U.S. would intervene militarily if China moved against Taiwan, which the Chinese communist government considers a rebel province. The White House has stressed that Biden’s remarks do not represent a departure from America’s longstanding policy of “strategic ambiguity” toward Taiwan and that the U.S. still adheres to the “One China Policy.”

In conversations with the Daily Caller, the campaigns of most Republican presidential candidates did not voice support for sending U.S. troops. Former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis declined to provide comment. Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott emphasized deterrence. Four GOP hopefuls — Vivek Ramaswamy, Larry Elder, Mike Pence and Asa Hutchinson — said directly that they would be open to potentially sending the U.S. military to defend Taiwan.

Ramaswamy has said he would “intervene militarily so long as the U.S. is still dependent on Taiwan for semiconductors,” but “has not said whether that will be boots on the ground or what that would look like,” Tricia McLaughlin, a spokesperson for Ramaswamy, told the Caller. The conservative entrepreneur has also previously floated the idea of providing Taiwanese civilians with AR-15 rifles and firearms training.
