McCarthy Forecasts Garland Impeachment Inquiry if Whistleblower Allegations True

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Sunday signaled that an impeachment inquiry of Attorney General Merrick Garland would be imminent if whistleblower allegations that U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware David Weiss wanted to appoint a special counsel in the Department of Justice’s Hunter Biden probe are true.

McCarthy retweeted allegations made by the whistleblower, IRS Criminal Supervisory Special Agent Gary A. Shapley Jr, noting if his allegations are true, “this will be a significant part of a larger impeachment inquiry into Merrick Garland’s weaponization of DOJ.”

His retweet included a post from Washington Examiner Chief Correspondent Byron York, who noted that Shapley alleged Weiss wanted charges against Biden to be brought in Washington, DC. HHS Produces Pro-Transgender Propaganda Video Featuring Rachel Levine Interviewing a Trans Activist

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has produced a video that features Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine, a biological man who identifies as a woman, interviewing self-described singer-songwriter and transgender activist Ryan Cassata.

Proponents of radical leftist gender ideology use the phrase “gender-affirming care” to refer to measures such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and gender-transition surgeries. Levine claimed that the phrase is “important” but that “opponents have weaponized it.” He suggested that “gender-affirming care is healthcare,” as well as “mental healthcare” and “suicide prevention care.”

Levine said much of the “gender-affirming care” is carried out by “outstanding” children’s hospitals in the U.S.

Cassata claimed that getting “top surgery” was life-saving. “Top surgery” is a euphemism for a mastectomy.

While Cassata claims to have no regrets about the procedure, other people who have pursued gender transition measures have later voiced regrets.

Majority of Voters Concerned About Joe Biden’s Mental and Physical Health: Poll

A majority of voters have concerns for President Joe Biden’s mental and physical health, specifically as it concerns capabilities required to be commander-in-chief.

A NBC News poll shows 68% have major or moderate concerns with Biden’s mental and physical health related to his job as president, compared to just 32% who have minor or no real concerns related to his health.

Of those polled, 60% also said they have major or moderate concerns with his ability to finish another four-year term, whereas only 40% had minor or no concerns.

If reelected in 2024, Biden would be 82-years-old on inauguration day in 2025, and 86 when leaving office on Jan. 20, 2029. He is currently the oldest president in U.S. history. The frontrunner in the Republican presidential primary, former President Donald Trump, was the second oldest president in U.S. history, based on the time he entered office.

Voters in the survey also had concerns about Trump’s mental and physical health, with 55% responding to having major or moderate concerns, and only 44% saying they have minor or no concerns about the former president’s physical or mental health. More GOP Officials Report Receiving Suspicious Packages Following Similar Cases in Kansas, Tennessee

Republican Montana officials became the latest recipients of suspicious packages reportedly containing a white, powdery substance following similar incidents earlier this month in two other states, the Montana Senate GOP stated Friday.

“At least two Montana legislators have received suspicious packages in the mail containing a white powder. At this time, both are fine and law enforcement is investigating and will be testing the substance,” the Montana Senate GOP tweeted. The white powdery substance was reportedly sent with an “anonymous, threatening” letter following a recent pattern of similar cases involving GOP officials in Tennessee and Kansas, CNN reported.

GOP officials in the Tennessee House received anonymous letters containing an unknown substance June 22. Tennessee House Republicans tweeted that the letters “contained obvious threats by a liberal activist specifically targeting us.” The letters have prompted an FBI investigation. Lab Leak Intelligence Exposes Misinformation Police

It appears that the people who came down with COVID-19 before anyone else were scientists who worked at the Chinese virology lab in Wuhan. This makes it difficult, bordering on ludicrous, to deny the virus originated in that lab. The latest reports, citing U.S. intelligence, point very clearly toward that conclusion.

What’s more, the intelligence suggests the Chinese research in question was funded by the U.S. government.

There are a hundred lessons to learn from this story, including how much we should mistrust China’s government and whether we should fund its research laboratories.

The Biden administration probably does not welcome this news, as America’s relationship with China is already compromised by the administration’s incompetence. An overly friendly visit to Beijing by Secretary of State Antony Blinken made no sense when paired with President Joe Biden’s remarks at a fundraiser labeling Chinese President Xi Jinping a dictator and mocking him over the spy balloon.

Though the key lesson is not about China but about humility. It’s a lesson not merely for Biden but for a broad swath of America’s elite class: Stop trying to shut down opinions you dislike by labeling them “disinformation” and instead engage with them honestly. ‘Exhausted’ Pastors Suffering Decline in Overall Healthy, Respect, Friendship: Study

The overall health of pastors in the U.S. has declined markedly since 2015, with increasing numbers who say that they face declining respect from their community and a lack of true friends, according to a recent study.

Data collected by faith-based organization Barna Group as part of its Resilient Pastor research showed a significant decrease in pastors’ spiritual, mental and emotional well-being, as well as their overall quality of life, between 2015 and 2022, the group announced last week.

The study conducted 901 online interviews with Protestant senior pastors in 2015 and compared the results with those they compiled based on 585 interviews with pastors from Sept. 6 to Sept. 16, 2022. The interviews asked pastors to rate aspects of their lives on a scale of excellent, good, average, below average, poor or don’t know.

Pastors who reported that their mental and emotional health was below average spiked from 3% in 2015 to 10% in 2022, and those who said they were in excellent mental and emotional health cratered from 39% in 2015 to 11% last year.

Pastors also noted that recent years have taken a toll on their physical health, with 22% describing their physical well-being as poor or below average in 2022, compared to only 7% in 2015. While 24% said their physical health was excellent eight years ago, only 9% said the same last year. ‘I Hire for Diversity’: Pentagon Nominees Blocked by GOP Senator Are Pushing Left-Wing Initiatives to Reshape Military

Several of the military officers whose promotions are held up due to a senator’s fight with the Pentagon have supported left-wing cultural stances and diversity initiatives, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of social media posts, Pentagon materials and public footage.

Republican Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville has single-handedly blocked numerous officers’ confirmations in protest of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s directive that the military fund out-of-state travel for female troops seeking abortions, initiating a game of chicken between Tuberville and the Pentagon that shows no sign of stopping. Yet several of the candidates in line for promotion have a history of making political statements and backed or spearheaded internal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives related to race and sexuality, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of publicly available information.

“Comments by even a handful of the Biden Pentagon’s general officer nominees are instructive as to defense policy, as opposed to mere talking points,” William Thibeau, director of the American Military Project at the Center for the American Way of Life, explained to the DCNF.

“You win on what you focus on. In other words, what the commander talks about typically becomes the focus for the unit writ large,” he said.

For example, Tuberville’s hold applies to Air Force Gen. Charles. Q. Brown, who was recently nominated to replace Gen. Mark Milley as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, according to NBC News. Brown gained notoriety when he made a rare public statement on race in the midst of nationwide rioting and protests following George Floyd’s murder in 2020. Delta Employee Dies After Reportedly Being ‘Ingested’ Into Plane Engine, Officials Say

A Delta Airlines ground crew employee has died after reportedly being ingested into a plane’s engine at a Texas airport Friday night, according to KENS5 News.

“An accident occurred on the ground at San Antonio International Airport (SAT) tonight that resulted in the fatality of an airline ground crew member. We are deeply saddened by this incident and are working with authorities as they begin their investigation. We will share more information as details become available,” officials with the San Antonio International Airport stated, according to KENS5 News

The incident reportedly occurred around 10:25 p.m. when Delta flight 1111, arriving from Los Angeles, was taxiing to the gate with “one engine on,” the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) revealed in a statement, cited by the outlet.

Unifi Aviation, the largest ground handling and aviation services company in North America, confirmed the incident, saying they were “deeply saddened by the loss of our employee at San Antonio International Airport,” according to a statement cited by KENS5 News. LGBT activists at the annual Drag March on Friday in New York City shouted a troubling message regarding children across the nation.

As Pride Month comes to a close, the participants marched through Tompkins Square Park in the East Village while chanting, the New York Post reported Saturday.

Video footage shows the flamboyantly dressed crowd moving through the area, and a woman among the group appeared to be topless:

. . .The march came to an end at the Stonewall Inn located in Greenwich Village, whose website says it is “Where Pride Began.”

Garland Gives Interesting Answer When Asked Whether He Said ‘No’ to Charging Hunter Biden (VIDEO)

By Townhall. United States Attorney General Merrick Garland responded to accusations leveled by IRS whistleblowers who claimed the Biden DOJ denied attempts by the U.S. attorney in Delaware investigating Hunter Biden to bring charges against the president’s son in 2022.

Garland was announcing federal charges against Chinese chemical manufacturing companies and arrests of fentanyl manufacturing executives on Friday when the topic quickly changed as Biden’s AG was asked about the whistleblowers’ accusations revealed by the House Ways and Means Committee on Thursday.

“As I said at the outset, Mr. Weiss was appointed by President Trump as the U.S. attorney in Delaware and assigned this matter during the previous administration,” Garland reminded. He reiterated his previous statement that Weiss “would be permitted to continue his investigation and to make a decision to prosecute any way in which he wanted to and in any district in which he wanted to.”

The whistleblowers’ testimony released by the Ways and Means Committee, however, directly contradicts what Garland stated.

Two IRS whistleblowers alleged sweeping misconduct in the Hunter Biden tax investigation, new transcripts show

By CBS News. Two IRS whistleblowers allege sweeping misconduct, including interference in the Hunter Biden tax investigation, according to the GOP House Ways and Means Committee chairman and newly released transcripts of congressional interviews with the whistleblowers. . .

IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley, who recently spoke exclusively with CBS News’ Jim Axelrod, told congressional investigators the IRS findings supported more severe penalties.

“This recommended felony tax evasion charges, that’s 7201, is tax evasion, and 7206(1) is a false tax return, also a felony, for the tax years 2014, 2018, and 2019. And for Title 26 7203, which is a failure to file or pay, that is a misdemeanor charge for ’15, ’16, ’17, ’18, and ’19,” Shapley said.

“The testimony we have just released details a lack of U.S. attorney independence, recurring unjustified delays, unusual actions outside the normal course of any investigation,” Chairman Jason Smith told reporters.
