Zelensky Says War ‘Returning’ To Russia After Moscow Drone Attack

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said war is “returning” to Russian soil after a drone attack in Moscow.

In his daily address on Sunday, as reported by The Kyiv Independent, Zelensky said “Ukraine is becoming stronger” — more than 500 days after Russia began its invasion of his country.

“The war is gradually returning to Russia’s territory, to its symbolic centers and military bases,” Zelensky said. “This is an inevitable, natural, and absolutely fair process.”

The message followed what Russian officials said was a Ukrainian drone attack on Sunday in Moscow, which is about 300 miles away from Ukraine’s border with Russia.

In First Rally Since Being Hit With Expanded Charges, Trump Calls On GOP Challengers To Drop Out

In his first rally since facing a superseding indictment in the federal case over his handling of sensitive documents, former President Donald Trump called on other Republican 2024 presidential candidates to drop out of the race.

Addressing a crowd in Erie, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night, Trump said, “Every dollar spent attacking me by Republicans is a dollar given straight to” President Joe Biden‘s re-election campaign.

He repeatedly named Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, mocking him as “DeSanctis” as he claimed those running for the GOP nomination are “wasting hundreds of millions of dollars that Republicans should be using to build a massive vote-gathering operation.”

The rally took place days after special counsel Jack Smith unveiled a superseding indictment against Trump, adding charges of willful retention of national defense information and obstruction. Prosecutors accused Trump and aides of asking an employee of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to delete security camera footage so evidence could not be provided to a federal grand jury. Ukrainian Drone Attacks on Moscow Force Airport to Shut Down

Russian authorities say three Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow in the early hours on Sunday, injuring one person and prompting a temporary closure for traffic of one of four airports around the Russian capital.

It was the fourth such attempt at a strike on the capital region this month and the third this week, fueling concerns about Moscow´s vulnerability to attacks as Russia’s war in Ukraine drags into its 18th month.

The Russian Defense Ministry referred to the incident as an “attempted terrorist attack by the Kyiv regime” and said three drones targeted the city. One was shot down in the surrounding Moscow region by air defense systems and two others were jammed. Those two crashed into the Moscow City business district in the capital. Not a single 8th grader at the I Promise School LeBron in Akron, Ohio, a school founded by LeBron James, has passed their state math test in three years, and critics are blasting the school for its unkept promises.

When LeBron James dropped into Akron with great fanfare and media coverage in 2018, promising to fund a new sort of school to help educate young people in his hometown, many hailed him as just the savior the city needed. But did James’ “I Promise” school fulfill its promises? Test scores are showing that it hasn’t.

Now, even Akron school board members are beginning to question James’ commitment to actual education and wondering if it was more about burnishing his reputation as a philanthropist than a serious effort to reform and reinvigorate education.

Last week, members of the Akron school board began taking a closer look at James’ so-called I Promise school and found that real academic achievements are few and far between. . .

Mom Used 14-Year-Old Daughter as ‘Human Shield’ After Police Chase

A Texas mom was caught in harrowing video using her 14-year-old daughter as a “human shield” after a high-speed police chase — and even shouting at cops to “shoot” them, according to officials.

Houston-area police initially thought theft suspect Tenescha Selena Henry, 35, was holding a crying hostage in a chokehold during the July 20 standoff and were shocked that the girl was actually her daughter.

“At that point, I 100% believed that we had a hostage situation,” Deputy A. Peters told KTRK. “I distinctly remember her at times saying, ‘Shoot! Shoot me! Shoot us!’” the deputy said of the mom.

“To put your own family member, not to mention your daughter, right in front of that potential danger is just kind of crazy to me.”

The mom had already led police on a 25-mile chase at speeds of up to 100 mph as she made “multiple unsafe lane changes and traveling the wrong way,” cops said.

Hunter Biden ‘Broke the Law,’ Democrat Rep. Says

The Democratic wall of silence surrounding Hunter Biden is beginning to crumble — with a prominent congressman admitting that President Biden’s troubled son is a crook who should be “held accountable.”

“Let me say something that you never heard a Republican member of Congress say in the four years of the Trump administration, which is that if Hunter Biden broke the law, he should be prosecuted,” Rep. Jim Himes (D-Connecticut) said on MSNBC in a Friday interview.

“And it is clear that he broke the law with respect to taxes and possibly the ownership of a handgun. He should be held accountable for that.”

Himes rapped Republicans for not calling out former President Trump, 77, when he was indicted, but said Hunter Biden should be prosecuted and convicted if he used his father’s influence to commit crimes.

Judge Blocks Law Allowing Librarians to Be Criminally Charged Over ‘Harmful’ Materials

Arkansas is temporarily blocked from enforcing a law that would have allowed criminal charges against librarians and booksellers for providing “harmful” materials to minors, a federal judge ruled Saturday.

US District Judge Timothy L. Brooks issued a preliminary injunction against the law, which also would have created a new process to challenge library materials and request that they be relocated to areas not accessible by kids.

The measure, signed by Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders earlier this year, was set to take effect Aug. 1.

A coalition that included the Central Arkansas Library System in Little Rock had challenged the law, saying fear of prosecution under the measure could prompt libraries and booksellers to no longer carry titles that could be challenged.

A Japanese man finally fulfilled his childhood “desire to transform” into an animal. The adult human spent over $14,000 on a custom-made collie dog costume.

A Japanese man released a video of his “transformation” to a collie dog on his YouTubechannel named: “I Want To Be An Animal.” The man is seen in the collie costume is seen interacting with real-life dogs and people who are unaware there is a grown man disguised as an animal.

The man inside the dog costume does tricks for a German TV host who was interviewing him at the time.

At the time of publication, the video racked up more than 3 million views on YouTube.

The man previously posted more than 20 videos of him dressed in the dog costume, but his latest video is the first that he left the privacy of his home. Toco said he felt “nervous and a little scared” about going out in public dressed as a dog. Special Counsel Adds New Charges Against Donald Trump; DOJ Adds Charges to Trump a Day After Sweetheart Hunter Biden Deal Exposed

By Breitbart. Special Counsel Jack Smith on Thursday brought new charges against former President Donald Trump in the Mar-a-Lago White House documents case.

Smith charged Trump with one count of willful retention of national defense documents and two counts of obstruction.

Trump’s valet, Walt Nauta, who was previously charged in the first indictment, also received two new obstruction-related charges.

DOJ Adds Charges to Trump a Day After Sweetheart Hunter Biden Deal Exposed

By Breitbart. The Department of Justice (DOJ) added three charges to the prosecution against President Joe Biden’s main political opponent, one day after the DOJ’s sweetheart plea deal with the president’s son was exposed in court.

While critics of former President Donald Trump celebrated, the juxtaposition of these two events is certain to lend weight and urgency to the charge that the DOJ is rife with political bias and continues to be weaponized.

As Breitbart News reported, the plea bargain that DOJ prosecutors reached with Hunter Biden’s lawyers fell apart on Wednesday after Judge Maryellen Noreika questioned its terms. Specifically, she queried a clause in an annex to the agreement — which she was apparently only shown right before the hearing — that would have given Hunter Biden immunity from any further prosecution related to his lucrative foreign business dealings. . .

The following day, Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a superseding indictment against Trump that added three new charges, plus a new defendant, Mar-a-Lago property manager Carlos de Oliveira, to the original case.

Jill Biden Ex: Joe Stole My Story as His Own — Minutes After I Told It

Jill Biden’s ex-husband said he knew that Joe Biden had trouble with the truth the first time they met — and the budding politician swiped a story from Bill Stevenson’s life and passed it off as one of his own.

The 75-year-old told The Post that Biden was running for the US Senate in 1972 when he stopped by the Stone Balloon, Stevenson’s new night spot in Newark, Delaware. Stevenson told Biden an anecdote about how his mother had asked his prep-school football coach why the schedule for the season’s games was prominently posted in the women’s bathroom. The coach gave a funny answer that Stevenson repeated to Biden.

“No disrespect … [but] that’s where our schedule belongs: in the ladies’ room,” said the coach — the implication being that the losing team was playing like “a bunch of girls,” said Stevenson.

Two hours later, after Biden was introduced to the club’s bouncers — all of them University of Delaware football players — he repeated the same story as if it were his own — right in front of an astonished Stevenson.
