Alaska Mayor to Solve Growing Homelessness Crisis by Offering One-Way Tickets to Warmer Climates

Anchorage Mayor Dave Bronson (R) told the Anchorage Daily News on Monday that his administration plans to provide homeless residents free one-way plane tickets to “go where they want to go” ahead of Alaska’s grueling winter temperatures.

City officials estimate that Anchorage is home to more than 750 homeless people.

“We have 40% of the population of the state, and we have 65% of the homeless population in the state. Our taxpayers here can’t keep footing that entire bill. This is a statewide problem. … If that’s the way it’s going to be, this needs a statewide solution, especially in the funding space,” Bronson stated.

The mayor blamed the city’s growing homelessness population on other Alaskan cities sending their homeless and “problematic people” to Anchorage, forcing the city’s taxpayers to carry a disproportionate burden of a statewide problem. Actor Kevin Spacey Acquitted of All Charges in Sexual Assault Trial

Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey has been acquitted of all charges against him, which were all sex-related, in a trial in London, England.

For the past four weeks, Spacey has been on trial, facing allegations that he sexually assaulted four men between 2001 and 2013, when he worked as the artistic director of the Old Vic theatre in London. Spacey pled not guilty and insisted that the allegations were “madness.”

All four alleged victims testified during the trial, and three of them alleged that Spacey had either grabbed their genitals without consent or forced them to touch his. However, the fourth accuser made an even more serious allegation. He claimed that he had once sought Spacey’s advice regarding his burgeoning acting career. Two weeks later, Spacey invited the man over to his apartment, where Spacey then drugged the man and sexually assaulted him, he testified. After falling asleep or losing consciousness, the man said he woke up to find Spacey performing a sex act on him.

Prosecutors characterized Spacey as a “sexual bully.” Spacey claimed that the encounter with the fourth accuser was “consensual” and that the two had shared “a very nice and lovely evening” together. He denied the other alleged encounters with the other three men, claiming they never happened. . .

After three days and nearly 12 and a half total hours of deliberation, the jury found Spacey not guilty of all nine charges, which included sexual assault, causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent, and causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity. Teen Brutally Beaten at Country Concert as Girlfriend Looks on in Horror (VIDEO)

An Alabama teenager was brutally attacked and left unconscious with a broken nose by a group of several men at a country music festival on Saturday night.

Reid Watts, 18, attended the “Rock the South” music festival with a group of his friends when a fellow concertgoer accused him of spilling a drink on them, which eventually led to the teen getting beaten up by a group of “30- to 40-year-old” men.

Watts said he tried to clear up any hostility with his accuser as he didn’t have a drink on him and the two reportedly shook hands, but moments later while some of his friends left for the restroom, he was attacked from behind.

“Some dude said I was spilling beer on him or something along those things, and then I talked to him because I didn’t have a drink on me at the time, like I didn’t have anything, I talked to him and shook his hand because I thought everything was okay because I explained to him it wasn’t me,” Watts recalled to WBMA.

“Then a few minutes later, I was walking back and got hit in the back of the head, then I hit the ground and tried to cover my face, then I got knocked out and that was really all I remember,” Watts added. A naked woman in California got out of her car on one of the nation’s busiest bridges and began firing a gun Tuesday.

The bizarre scene unfolded during rush hour on the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A driver called 911 to report that another driver had brandished a gun at them on the I-80 span, which crosses the San Francisco Bay, around 4:40 p.m., police said.

The woman then stopped in the middle of her lane, got out of her car with a knife and began yelling at other drivers, according to cops.

She then got back in the car and continued driving to Oakland, but stopped again at a toll plaza and exited the car — this time with a gun and sans clothing, officers told The Post. Morbidly Obese Shoplifting Suspects Lumber off in World’s Slowest Getaway Ever (VIDEO)

Sacramento police are actively searching for three women involved in a suspected shoplifting incident that took place July 24 at a local Burlington store after their brazen antics were caught on video and shared on social media.

“Damn, look at these people stealing! Say hi to the camera!” a man filming the plus-sized trio can be heard saying as they slowly make their way to their getaway car. As the three women begin tossing clothing and shoes into the back of a red Dodge Charger, the man filming expressed his shock at the brazen theft, “Look at this shit. What the f**k is this?” the man said.

Undeterred, the women continue to pile in clothes and shoes into a heavily packed trunk before slowly lumbering away, allowing the man to capture their license plate and note that they were also illegally parked in a handicapped space. Hunter Biden Lawyer Accused of Misleading Clerk to Block Release of Damning Evidence; Is Hunter Biden’s Plea Deal In Jeopardy?

By New York Post. First son Hunter Biden’s legal team appeared to pull a dirty trick Tuesday to block the release of damning evidence ahead of his expected guilty plea to federal charges of tax evasion and weapons crimes.

The drama began in the morning when the House Ways and Means Committee filed an amicus brief to Delaware US District Judge Maryellen Noreika arguing that the 53-year-old had benefited from “political interference which calls into question the propriety of the investigation” into alleged crimes including money laundering, felony tax evasion and failure to register as a foreign agent.

The filing included testimony by two IRS whistleblowers who sat for transcribed interviews May 26 and June 1.

What happened next was outlined in a letter sent to the judge Tuesday afternoon by the committee’s top lawyer, Theodore Kittila.

“[A]t approximately 1:30 p.m., we received word that our filing was removed from the docket,” Kittila said. “We promptly contacted the Clerk’s office, and we were advised that someone contacted the Court representing that they worked with my office [emphasis original] and that they were asking the Court to remove this from the docket. We immediately advised that this was inaccurate. The Clerk’s Office responded that we would need to re-file. Hunter Biden’s Plea Deal Is Now in Jeopardy

President Joe Biden’s son is set to appear in court tomorrow where Delaware Judge Maryellen Noriega will decide on whether or not to sign off on Hunter’s plea deal and Hunter Biden may have just jinxed the deal. You’re not going to believe what he just did. Republican Congressman Jason Smith just filed a brief with the judge entering into evidence, the IRS whistleblower testimony, basically a legal move to get the judge to think, “You know, what? Are you really going to let this guy off so easy?”

Hunter Biden’s attorney called the courthouse clerk today and pretended to be a Republican attorney and told the clerk, “Oops, you know what? We didn’t really mean to file all that whistleblower stuff. Can you guys just strike that from the record?” Seriously? Hunter Biden’s lawyer made a phony phone call to the court and tried to remove the whistleblower testimony.

‘Violated All of the Orthodoxy’: RFK Jr Slams Health Agencies for Supporting COVID Lockdowns

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. argued during a Tuesday town hall that public health agencies were wrong to endorse mass lockdowns to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Democratic presidential candidate told Fox News host Sean Hannity that agencies such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) went against their own protocol when they encouraged lockdown policies.

“We’ve had the WHO, CDC, the DHS, and all the three-letter agencies have thought about pandemics for a hundred years. And they’ve worked on very, very carefully on pandemic preparedness protocols. And all of those protocols said you never lock down a population. What they were doing violated all of the orthodoxy.”

Kennedy claimed that former medical doctor D.A. Henderson— who is credited with eradicating small pox — argued against lockdown measures in a series of papers. D.A. Henderson did co-author at least one paper criticizing lockdown measures to mitigate the spread of viruses.

Rand Paul Torches Doctors Warning of ‘S— Show’ if China Accused of COVID Release: ‘The Business of Science’

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., condemned a British doctor’s 2020 Slack message to other prominent virologists regarding the origins of the coronavirus released in connection with a House Oversight Committee hearing last week, saying it is another piece of evidence that public coronavirus narratives were based on business and money, rather than true science.

“This was never about science. This was about the business of science. It was about the money,” Paul, who has sparred with Dr, Anthony Fauci in several hearings,, fumed Monday on “The Ingraham Angle.”

“Follow the money trail, and you see millions of dollars exchanging hands in the first few months of 2020 to the people who came out and said ‘nothing to see here couldn’t have happened in the lab’.”

The missive from Dr. Andrew Rambaut suggested top scientists dismissed the Wuhan lab leak theory over political concerns, as some Republicans have alleged the messaging was meant to adhere to or mimic the company line from Dr. Fauci, then leading the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

“Given the s— show that would happen if anyone serious accused the Chinese of even accidental release, my feeling is we should say that given there is no evidence of a specifically engineered virus, we cannot possibly distinguish between natural evolution and escape so we are content with ascribing it to natural process,” Rambaut wrote in a Slack message to Drs. Kristian Andersen, Edward Holmes and Robert Garry, per a committee report. WH Press Briefing Spends More Time on Biden Dog Biting Spree Than New Hunter Revelations

White House reporters spent more time at the Tuesday briefing asking about President Joe Biden’s dog Commander’s biting spree than about the newest Hunter Biden revelations.

Commander, a German Shepherd, sent a Secret Service officer to the hospital and bit six other individuals in the White House. A 194-page Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) document detailed the dog’s aggression and how it bit people on several occasions.

Reporters asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the dog’s biting spree at least four times. That is more time spent asking about the dog than about the criminal investigations into Hunter Biden. Monday, Business Insider reported Hunter sold his art to a Democratic Party donor who his father appointed to the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad.

Hunter Biden Prosecutor Will Be Allowed to Testify Before Congress After Republicans Slam Plea Deal

Hunter Biden prosecutor and U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware David Weiss will be allowed to testify before the House Judiciary Committee, according to a letter from the Department of Justice.

Weiss’ testimony would come after the announcement of a plea deal where Hunter would plead guilty to two tax misdemeanors and admit the facts of a gun charge. If the deal is accepted by a judge, it will likely mean no jail time for the president’s son. Republican lawmakers were quick to decry the deal, saying that it was too lenient on Hunter, prompting Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) to send a letter requesting Weiss’ testimony before Congress.

“The Department of Justice (Department) appreciates the Committee on the Judiciary’s (Committee’s) acceptance of our offer for U.S. Attorney Weiss to testify at a public hearing before the Committee. The Department is ready to offer U.S. Attorney Weiss to testify shortly after Congress returns from the August district work period, as described more fully below,” Assistant Attorney General Carlos Felipe Uriarte wrote in a letter to Jordan.
