Trump Says He’d Accept the House Speakership Temporarily

Former President Donald Trump has said that he would temporarily accept the speakership of the House of Representatives, according to a report by Fox News.

Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California was removed from the speakership on Tuesday in a bipartisan vote of the House of Representatives, following a motion to vacate the chair filed by Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida. After some members of the House Republican Conference called on Trump to accept the speakership, he said on Thursday that he would be open to doing so for a short period of time, until the party can agree upon a permanent replacement, according to a report by Fox News.

“They have asked me if I would take it for a short period of time for the party, until they come to a conclusion – I’m not doing it because I want to – I will do it if necessary, should they not be able to make their decision,” Trump said. “I would only do it for the party.”

Trump has been publicly lobbied by Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, one of his closest allies in Congress, to seek the office of speaker of the House, primarily through posts on X. Biden Admin Finally Admits the Chaos It Created at the Border, Announces Plan for Border Wall

After years of refusing to take responsibility for the border crisis it created, the Biden Administration is stressing an “immediate need” for a border wall to stem the thousands of illegal migrants pouring into the U.S. daily.

On Wednesday, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas called for a wall to be built along the Texas border despite condemning the use of such barriers in the past.

The DHS posted an announcement on the U.S. Federal Register outlining construction in Starr County in the Rio Grande Valley Sector, citing “high illegal entry.”

The post noted that there have been over 245,000 migrant encounters in the sector this fiscal year.

Mayorkas declared that there is an “acute and immediate need” to waive 26 federal laws, including the Clean Air Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and Endangered Species Act, so that physical barriers and roads can be built “in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States in the project areas pursuant to sections 102(a) and 102(b) of [the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996].” (Read more from “Biden Admin Finally Admits the Chaos It Created at the Border” HERE)

Hillary Clinton Calls for ‘Formal Deprogramming’ of MAGA ‘Cult Members’

Former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said Thursday on CNN’s “Primetime” she believed there needed to be a “formal deprogramming of the cult members” who support former President Donald Trump. . .

She continued, “That’s the way it used to be. I mean, we had very strong partisans in both parties in the past and we had very bitter battles over all kinds of things, gun control, and climate change, and the economy, and taxes. But there wasn’t this little tail of extremism wagging the dog of the Republican Party as it is today. U.S. Public Support Declines for Arming Ukraine

Support is falling among Americans of both major political parties for supplying Ukraine with weapons, a warning sign for Kyiv, which relies heavily on U.S. arms to fight against a Russian invasion, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll.

The two-day poll, which closed on Wednesday, showed only 41% of respondents agreed with a statement that Washington “should provide weapons to Ukraine,” compared to 35% who disagreed and the rest unsure.

Support for U.S. weapon shipments is down from May, when a Reuters/Ipsos poll showed 46% of Americans backed sending arms, while 29% were opposed and the rest unsure.

The poll was taken as U.S. congressional leaders debate Democratic President Joe Biden’s request for $24 billion in additional funding for Ukraine, of which about $17 billion would be defense aid.

Washington has provided $44 billion to supply Kyiv with dozens of tanks, thousands of rockets and millions of rounds of ammunition that Ukraine has used to defend itself since Russia invaded in February 2022. Ukrainian forces have retaken a series of villages and settlements in the counteroffensive that began in June, but its soldiers have been hampered by vast Russian minefields and trenches. Donald Trump Cites Presidential Immunity in Motion to Dismiss January 6 Case

Former President Donald Trump argued that special counsel Jack Smith’s case against Trump over the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot should be dismissed because he has presidential immunity.

Trump pleaded not guilty after Smith indicted him on four counts, including conspiracy to defraud the U.S., conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.

“Breaking 234 years of precedent, the incumbent administration has charged President Trump for acts that lie not just within the ‘outer perimeter,’ but at the heart of his official responsibilities as President,” Trump’s attorneys argued. “In doing so, the prosecution does not, and cannot, argue that President Trump’s efforts to ensure election integrity, and to advocate for the same, were outside the scope of his duties.”

Many legal scholars expected Trump to file a motion to dismiss the case on presidential immunity grounds.

Disaster: Only 43 Out of 8K Troops Discharged Over Biden’s Vax Mandate Have Sought to Rejoin

Only 43 out of more than 8,000 service members who were discharged from the military over the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate have sought to rejoin, according to a recent report by CNN.

According to the report, 19 have rejoined the Army, 12 have rejoined the Marine Corps, one has rejoined the Air Force, and two have rejoined the Navy.

The report suggested that the low numbers prove that Republicans who say the mandate hurt recruiting and retention were wrong.

However, some troops who fought the mandate while they were in the military told Breitbart News that they disagree.

Retired Air Force Master Sergeant Nick Kupper, who recently retired after successfully fighting his discharge, told Breitbart News that troops are not seeking to rejoin because they feel betrayed. FBI, DOJ Officials Were ‘Openly Mocking’ Congressional Inquiries Into Hunter Biden Investigation, Memo Alleges

Officials from the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) were “openly mocking” congressional inquiries about the Hunter Biden investigation into his taxes and firearms possession, a newly released IRS memo alleges.

IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley wrote a memo in December 2020 outlining the Hunter Biden investigation and potential obstacles to gathering additional evidence. One of those obstacles was the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Delaware and the FBI allegedly ignoring congressional requests and “openly mocking” the lawmakers who sent the requests, Shapley said in the memo.

“The FBI is a participating agency that is forcing decisions upon IRS-CI even though the only viable charges are currently tax charges. The assigned AUSA does not allow dissenting opinion without verbal admonishment,” Shapley’s memo reads.

“The USAO and FBI received congressional inquiries concerning this investigation and have repeatedly ignored their requests, openly mocking the members of congress who made the requests. It appears that someone at DOJ leaked information to the media after our day of action,” the IRS agent added. OUTRAGE REPORT: Biden ‘Kicks, Punches’ His Dogs (VIDEO)

If there’s one thing most Americans not named Michael Vick can agree on, it’s not to abuse dogs. But somebody needs to tell that to Presidentish Joe Biden, whose approval rating was already in the toilet even before today’s Judicial Watch revelation.

The conservative watchdog — no pun intended — has filed a Freedom of Information Act suit against the Secret Service regarding reports of multiple bite attacks by the First Dog, Commander.

The dog reportedly has been removed from the White House after its most recent attack on a Secret Service agent and other White House staff. According to a Judicial Watch source, President Biden has mistreated his dogs. Judicial Watch has learned he has punched and kicked his dogs.

Last week, I came across a brief Twitter video that alleged to show Biden kicking Commander, but since it was impossible to tell if POTUS was just nudging his dog or whether the video was faked, I didn’t share it. With today’s news, here’s the clip so you can judge for yourself.

Newsweek: The FBI Is Now Explicitly Targeting Trump Supporters

The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump’s army of MAGA followers.

The challenge for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the primary federal agency charged with law enforcement, is to pursue and prevent what it calls domestic terrorism without direct reference to political parties or affiliations—even though the vast majority of its current “anti-government” investigations are of Trump supporters, according to classified data obtained by Newsweek.

“The FBI is in an almost impossible position,” says a current FBI official, who requested anonymity to discuss highly sensitive internal matters. The official said that the FBI is intent on stopping domestic terrorism and any repeat of the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. But the Bureau must also preserve the Constitutional right of all Americans to campaign, speak freely and protest the government. By focusing on former president Trump and his MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters, the official said, the Bureau runs the risk of provoking the very anti-government activists that the terrorism agencies hope to counter.

“Especially at a time when the White House is facing Congressional Republican opposition claiming that the Biden administration has ‘weaponized’ the Bureau against the right wing, it has to tread very carefully,” says the official. Live TV certainly has its share of surprises, and it can be a playground for trolls and pranksters. While most pranks are harmless, the timing can sometimes be a bit off. In a recent incident, a “fan” of Tucker Carlson seized the moment and called into Fox News, hilariously pranking reporter Trace Gallagher during a live report about a shooting incident (fortunately, no fatalities occurred).

During the discussion about the incident at a Morgan State University dorm in Baltimore, Gallagher introduced the caller as Tyrone, a supposed student from the university. Tyrone took control of the conversation right away by mentioning that he and his friends regularly gather together every Tuesday to watch Tucker Carlson’s show on X (formerly on Fox News). Tyrone went on to say that Tucker was “the most credible guy in the media in America” and is doing even better now that he’s not with Fox News, where they forced him to “read a teleprompter.”

Ha ha, great stuff! Gallagher quickly realized that “Tyrone” wasn’t actually a student at Morgan State and cut the conversation short.

It was a great prank, and now we know who was behind it: conservative comedian and renowned YouTuber Mark Dice claimed credit for the call. Well done, Mark!
