Chinese-Born Engineer Arrested for Theft Involving Missile Sensor Technology

FBI agents in California arrested a suspected technology spy for China this week, charging him with stealing some 3,600 files from a defense contractor that includes sensitive information on advanced sensors used to detect missile launches.

Gong Chenguang, 57, of San Jose, was charged by federal prosecutors in Los Angeles with being part of China’s “talents” program, a systematic Beijing effort to obtain U.S. technology by recruiting American-based scientists and technical experts with access to advanced know-how.

An FBI affidavit used to seek an arrest warrant identifies Mr. Gong as a naturalized citizen employed by a Malibu defense contractor in January 2023.

The technology involved is worth “hundreds of millions of dollars” and, if provided to a foreign government, would “compromise U.S. national security,” the affidavit states. A spokeswoman identified the company as HRL Laboratories.

State Police Investigating ‘Hundreds’ of ‘Fraudulent’ Signatures in Election Petition

State police authorities in Indiana are investigating allegations that there were “hundreds” of “fraudulent” signatures submitted in a petition to put Dean Phillips, who is challenging Joe Biden for the Democrat nomination for president in 2024, on this year’s ballot.

A report in The Federalist explains the publication learned from Indiana State Police Sgt. Ted Bohner that the work is “probably going to be lengthy.”

The case developed when St. Joseph County Clerk Amy Rolfes and her staff “discovered hundreds of what appeared to be fraudulent petition signatures and addresses,” the report said.

Rolfes confirmed that she alerted state authorities when the apparent forgeries were spotted.

New Survey Reveals Biden’s Biggest ‘Weak Point’ With Voters

President Joe Biden’s growing mental fog and physical aging is now the top “weak point” in the eyes of voters.

More than his refusal to end the border crisis or stop grocery prices from surging, his health is the standout issue for voters nine months from Election Day.

In the latest McLaughlin & Associates survey shared with Secrets, 82% of likely voters called Biden’s “state of health and his mental fitness” his biggest “weak point.” Just 19% didn’t, a 63-point gap.

It was followed by illegal immigration and the border crisis at 79% and inflation at 76%.

Supreme Court Justices Weren’t Buying What the Lawyer Arguing for Trump’s Removal From Colorado Ballot Was Selling

The U.S. Supreme Court heard roughly two hours of arguments Thursday concerning the effort by six Colorado voters to deny their fellow countrymen the opportunity to vote for the Republican front-runner in the 2024 election.

Jason Murray, a Denver lawyer representing the six voters, struggled to make a case for former President Donald Trump’s disqualification, ostensibly tripping over simple questions and facts.

While conservative Justices Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh predictably exposed the various faults in Murray’s arguments, even left-leaning Justices Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson seemed unimpressed, casting doubt over whether Section 3 of the 14th Amendment applies and over whether the Centennial State should determine the fate of the nation. . .

Murray, who previously convinced Democratic appointees on the Colorado Supreme Court to declare Trump ineligible to appear on ballots in the state, attempted to repeat his success Thursday but soon discovered the road forward had not similarly been ideologically greased.

Justice Kagan, for instance, said to Murray, “The question you have to confront is why a single state should decide who gets to be president of the United States. Biden Forgot When His VP Run Began and Ended, His Son’s Death During Classified Docs Interview, Special Counsel Says

President Joe Biden forgot when his term as vice president began and ended and when his son Beau had died during an interview with the special counsel reviewing Biden’s handling of classified documents.

Special Counsel Robert Hur concluded his investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents and declined to pursue criminal charges, the report released Thursday said. During an interview with the special counsel, the president appeared to forget the timeline of his vice presidency and could not remember when his late son, Beau Biden, died.

“In his interview with our office, Mr. Biden’s memory was worse. He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended (‘if it was 2013 – when did I stop being Vice President?’), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began (‘in 2009, am I still Vice President?’),” Hur wrote in the report.

“He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died. And his memory appeared hazy when describing the Afghanistan debate that was once so important to him,” Hur continued about the president.

Hur’s report repeatedly notes that Biden appeared to have a poor memory, even going as far as to say that if the president were to appear before a jury, he would present himself as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Hur concluded that Biden willfully kept classified documents relating to U.S. foreign policy in Afghanistan and handwritten notebook entries concerning sensitive national security matters. Biden held on to the documents as a private citizen after the conclusion of his vice presidency.

Two moms from Kentucky are speaking out after they were allegedly drugged and raped in the Bahamas Sunday after the US issued a travel warning for the vacation hotspot.

Longtime friends Amber Shearer and Dongayla Dobson said their first kid-free vacation ended with a traumatic, broad-daylight assault when they decided to go to the beach after the Carnival cruise ship they were on docked at the island country. . .

The moms were relaxing on a Grand Bahama beach when a resort staffer offered them a two-for-one drink deal, they told NewsNation’s “Cuomo.” . . .

“Less than a few [sips] into the second drink, we knew something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong,” Shearer said.

Biden Lays Blame for Not Being Able to Recall Basic Facts During Interviews With Special Counsel

President Biden said Thursday that he struggled to remember certain key dates during his interviews with Special Counsel Robert Hur as a result of the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.

Biden told reporters that he was “handling an international crisis” at the time of his interviews with federal investigators shortly after Hur released his 345-page report Thursday detailing the findings in his investigation into the president’s handling of classified documents. In the report, Hur noted that Biden’s memory failed him in multiple instances, saying the president forgot when he was vice president and when his son Beau died.

“I sought no delays. In fact, I was so determined to get the special counsel what they needed,” Biden remarked. “I went forward with a five-hour in-person interview over the two days of October — the ninth, eighth and ninth last year — even though Israel had just been attacked by Hamas on the seventh. I was in the middle of handling an international crisis.”

“Bottom line is, a special counsel in my case decided against moving forward any charges, and this matter is now closed,” the president continued. “I’ll continue to do what I’ve always done — stay focused on my job like you do, of my job of being president.”

Additionally, shortly after the report was published, Biden’s personal lawyers Richard Sauber and Bob Bauer penned a letter to Hur, criticizing him for his characterization of the president’s memory. Pediatricians Group Says Research Doesn’t Support ‘Gender Affirming’ Treatments

A review of 60 studies of the mental health of transgender-identifying youth found that “there is no long-term evidence that current ‘gender affirming’ medication and surgical protocols benefit their mental well-being,” according to a group representing pediatricians.

The American College of Pediatricians issued a position statement on Wednesday opposing the gender transitioning of youth based on the literature review. It comes just after a watchdog group filed a scientific integrity complaint against Department of Health and Human Services official Rachel Levine for claiming that “there is no argument among medical professionals regarding “the value and the importance of gender-affirming care.”

HHS provided only two pages to support the idea that the gender transitioning of children was “necessary.” Levine, a man who believes he is a woman, has often dodged the question by saying that “accredited medical professional groups agree that gender-affirming care is medically necessary.”

The American College of Pediatricians is a small group of pediatricians, many of them conservative, that formed in part due to dismay over the way that the much larger pediatrics group, the American Association of Pediatrics, passes activist statements that are then used as if they represent the views of all pediatricians, even though only a handful were involved.

Given the well-documented problems that often go hand-in-hand with being transgender, the sharp and sudden increase in the number of youth who question their gender should be something that raises alarm bells for physicians, the group said. Hawaii Court Gives Middle Finger to SCOTUS, Claims ‘Spirit of Aloha’ Overrides Constitution

The Hawaii Supreme Court issued a decision on Wednesday formally infringing on island residents’ right to keep and bear arms because justices claimed guns interfered with the “Spirit of Aloha.” The ruling seeks to nullify not only the authority of the Consitution but also the Supreme Court’s longstanding interpretation of Americans’ Second Amendment protections.

The U.S. Supreme Court held in its 2022 New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. Bruen decision that citizens’ constitutional right to keep and bear arms for self-defense requires no demonstration of a “special need” like New York required for its unrestricted concealed-carry licenses. Before that, the highest court in the land found in its 2008 District of Columbia v. Heller decision that DC could not ban handgun possession in the home because, under the Second Amendment, American civilians, not just military personnel, have the right to own firearms and use them for lawful self-defense.

Justices in the Hawaii court rejected both examples of the top court’s jurisprudence when they upheld a conviction for island resident Christopher Wilson, who was charged in 2017 after carrying a loaded gun without a concealed weapons permit.

The state court claimed Wilson could not use Bruen to argue his “constitutional right to protect himself” because he is not a “well-regulated militia” and he did not apply for a concealed carry weapons permit (CCW). The justices claimed that, under the 1968 political interpretation of Hawaii’s 1950 constitution, “the historical background of the Second Amendment indicates that the central concern in the right to bear arms was the right of the states to maintain a militia.”

Democrat Featured Murderers and Thugs on His Middle School ‘Wall of Honor’ (VIDEO)

. . .[Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.)]was censured for his action that he swears was “accidental.” But before he was elected to Congress in 2020, Bowman was the principal at Cornerstone Academy for Social Action Middle School (CASA).

While at CASA, he created a “Wall of Honor” recognizing famous black and Latino people to give the children a “version of history in which they could see themselves,” according to the Huffington Post.

Do black and Latino kids really want to see themselves as murderers and antisemites?

“Each and every member of the Wall of Honor has played a major role in moving our society from a bigoted, oppressive existence toward a world of freedom, justice, and equality,” Bowman said in a video posted to YouTube in 2014. . .

Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.), a notorious antisemite and 9/11 truther, as well as black militant Mutulu Shakur, who served a long prison sentence for armed robbery, and Assata Shakur, godmother of rapper Tupac Shakur and a radical activist and member of the Black Liberation Army who was convicted of murdering a New Jersey state trooper.
