Did Joe Biden Fall Asleep at a Memorial Day Ceremony?

President Joe Biden delivered remarks at a ceremony at Arlington Cemetery yesterday to commemorate Memorial Day. It was notable for a couple of things. The first is that Biden finally delivered an accurate account of how his son Beau died, even though he reportedly can’t remember when he passed anymore. The president, who never passes at a chance to grief peddle, finally admitted that his son died of brain cancer, though you’d never have known that given past remarks. Biden has been criticized for trying to insinuate that Beau died in a combat zone in Iraq.

Yet, let’s get to the unseemly part here. It looks like Biden fell asleep during the ceremony:

It’s not the first time this has happened. In 2021, it was reported that the president passed out while meeting with Israel’s then-prime minister, Naftali Bennett, which the fact checkers rushed to spin.

Libertarian Party Nominates Pro-Trans Activist for President

The Libertarian Party has officially rejected former Republican President Donald Trump and Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., selecting activist Chase Oliver, a former democrat, as their presidential nominee. The decision was announced following the party’s national convention, where both Trump and Kennedy had addressed attendees, seeking Libertarian support.

Oliver secured the nomination in the seventh round of voting, receiving nearly 60 percent of the vote, as reported by Fox News Digital. “I will continue to bring a hopeful and positive message of liberty to both those who consider themselves libertarian and those who don’t know they are libertarian yet,” Oliver stated in his victory speech.

Oliver has faced criticism for his stance on transgender issues, which he addressed in an interview with the Daily Caller. “As with any medical issue, I support autonomy from the government in making personal decisions. I prefer individuals decide the healthcare that is right for them in consultation with a doctor if they so choose, and not leave those decisions to boards of bureaucrats or the politicians who enable them,” he explained.

Oliver’s platform includes ending U.S. involvement in foreign wars, adopting an Ellis Island approach to immigration, repealing gun control laws, abolishing the Patriot Act and the FISA Amendments Act of 2008, and reducing government intervention in the economy to foster a robust free market, according to his campaign website.

Lightning Kills Rancher, Over 30 Cows

A lightning strike killed a rancher and more than 30 of his cattle Sunday afternoon in northern Colorado, according to multiple reports.

Mike Morgan, 51, was tossing hay off the back of his trailer to his herd of cattle at about 2 p.m. in Rand when the lightning bolt struck him and about 100 of his cows and calves standing around the trailer, the Colorado Sun reported.

Neither Morgan nor thirty-two of his cattle survived the strike, the outlet reported, citing local coroner George Crocket.

“As best I can tell, it hit him on the trailer. The cattle were bunched up around the trailer and it hit them all,” Crocket reportedly said.

The incident occurred just after Morgan, his wife, and his father-in-law finished branding their calves with assistance from neighbors and friends during a local spring event known as branding day, according to the outlet. (Read more from “Lightning Kills Rancher, Over 30 Cows” HERE)

Not Today, Satan: Christian Veteran Who Tore Down Satanic Altar in Iowa Just Beat the Devil at His Own Game

Well, good triumphed over evil in an Iowa case where a Christian vet tore down a satanic altar at the state capitol. Iowa prosecutors dropped the absurd ‘hate crime’ felony charges against Michael Cassidy in exchange for a misdemeanor plea. That means he won’t face prison time. It’s outrageous that he was ever at risk of ‘prison time’ for vandalizing a demonic statue. But that’s the sad state of affairs in today’s unjust USA. . .

Well, in the end, God defeated Satan once again, and Michael will not be charged with a felony.

Michael took to X, where he enjoyed a well-deserved victory lap. . .

In truth, Michael saved the day when he tore down that disgusting statue. Theoretically, Michael shouldn’t have faced any charges at all, since that monstrosity should never have been there in the first place. This is just another way for heathens and heretics to mock tradition and Christianity. ‘Squad’ Members Confuse Memorial Day With Veterans Day

“Squad” members Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Cori Bush (D-MO) appeared to confuse Memorial Day — a day to honor fallen American service members — with Veterans Day, a day to honor those who have served.

Omar posted on X from her congressional account:

On #MemorialDay, we honor the heroic men and women who served our country.

We owe them more than our gratitude — they have more than earned access to quality mental health services, job opportunities, housing assistance, and the benefits they were promised.

Bush posted on her congressional X account:

This #MemorialDay & every day, we honor our veterans in St. Louis.

We must invest in universal health care, affordable housing, comprehensive mental health services, and educational & economic opportunities for our veterans as we work to build a world free of war and violence.

After both received flak from X users for not knowing the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day, they deleted their posts.

Denver Offers How-to Guide on Turning Cities Into Taxpayer-Funded Immigrant Sanctuaries

The Democrat-led city of Denver, Colorado, is offering a how-to guide to help other cities turn into immigrant sanctuaries at the expense of taxpayers.

The guide is titled “Newcomers Playbook: A Guide to Welcoming Newcomers into Your City,” and its authors say they are “thrilled” to offer their guide on how to plan and implement a sanctuary city.

The guide exclaims:

We are thrilled that you are interested in creating a welcoming environment for migrants in your city. As part of Denver’s welcoming approach, we use the term “newcomers” to refer to migrants, recognizing that they are new to our city and embracing a more inclusive language. This playbook is a guide divided into two sections, offering recommendations and strategies for successfully integrating newcomers into your city.

The guide credits the “Office of Mayor Mike Johnston” and several of his migrant agencies. Even though the 22-page booklet celebrates turning cities into immigrant sanctuaries, it is supposedly written by the same mayor who has attacked outside groups and states for sending immigrants to Denver, claimed the wave of immigrants was unsustainable, sent officials on trips to discourage immigrants from coming to Denver, spent millions shipping immigrants to other cities, cut funding and services, and worked to evict immigrants from city-sponsored shelters. Public Elementary Schools Deploy Leftists’ Favorite Dei Terms — And Refuse to Define Them

With the rise of leftist, anti-Israel protests on college campuses, Americans increasingly recognize the dangers of the “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) cancer in higher education. Some states, such as Florida and Alabama, have rightfully taken measures to stem the flow of public resources to DEI’s leftist agenda in public institutions.

But what fewer Americans are aware of is that the DEI mafia is surreptitiously and effectively manipulating our young children beginning in their public elementary schools and beyond. Many public school districts are also subjecting their students to overtly discriminatory regulations. Fairfax County’s public schools, located just outside our nation’s capital in the largest school district in Virginia, are top among them.

On May 15, I wrote an email to the district’s chief equity officer, Nardos King. I posed simple questions: What are the definitions of “marginalized groups” and “protected class” — and which social groups are included in each category? She refused to provide clear answers. . .

These terms are particularly important because the school district bases policy on them. For example, teachers are allowed to display flags of “marginalized groups.” According to an email I received from a middle school principal in Fairfax County, Black Lives Matter is a marginalized group, so teachers are free to display that leftist flag in the district’s classrooms.

The classification is strange. Black Lives Matter is a sociopolitical movement that does not represent all black people. It is unclear how BLM could be considered a marginalized group, and the designation reflects obvious viewpoint discrimination. Given that our children are subjected to the operationalization of these terms, parents and students should have a right to see what other groups are on that list. Lawmaker’s Missionary Daughter, Son-in-Law Murdered by Gang in Haiti

The daughter and son-in-law of a Missouri lawmaker were brutally murdered by a gang while serving as missionaries in Haiti. The young couple, along with a third victim, were killed in an attack on Thursday night in the Lizon community, northern Port-au-Prince.

The victims were identified as 23-year-old Davy Lloyd, 21-year-old Natalie Lloyd, and 45-year-old Jude Montis. All three were members of Missions in Haiti, Inc., an organization founded by Davy’s parents, David and Alicia Lloyd. The compound included an orphanage, a school, and a church, and educated around 450 children.

Davy Lloyd grew up on the compound. His sister, Hannah Cornett, told the Associated Press, “Davy spoke Creole before he spoke English. It was home. Haiti was all we knew.”

Natalie Lloyd joined the organization in August 2022 after marrying Davy in June. They were “full-time missionaries” in Haiti, according to Natalie’s father, Missouri State Rep. Ben Baker. Montis served as the group’s Haitian director for two decades and was a pastor with a wife and two young children.

The trio was ambushed by gang members at the compound on Thursday. David Lloyd described the ordeal, stating, “They tied up my son and beat him. They got three vehicles. They got a bunch of equipment, money, I had my payroll in there for the week.”

Davy managed to untie himself, and the trio fled to a small house on the compound. Davy called his father during the chaos, saying, “Dad, something is going on. There are a bunch more guys, and I think they may be back.”

The gang members allegedly returned, shooting out the windows and eventually infiltrating the house. They murdered all three missionaries by shooting them. A video of the crime scene reportedly shows “three bodies sprawled on the floor, with those of Davy Lloyd and Montis having been burned.”

Mayor Says 94% of Homeless People Refuse Help Because of Addiction and Mental Illness

A mayor in California said that 94% of homeless people refuse to accept help because of their issues with addiction and mental illness.

Vista Mayor John Franklin made the comments in an interview with KGTV-TV about the worsening homeless crisis in California.

“Some of them we’ve asked twenty times and developed relationships with,” Franklin said. “And we’ve asked them if they would come and accept a safe warm bed here, three hot meals a day, a hot shower, clean clothes, and unfortunately, because of mental illness and addiction, the answer is, ‘We don’t want to come.'”

A point-in-time count of the homeless population found that the city only had about 170 homeless people, but the figure represents almost double the number from last year when it was only 88 people.

The report found similar increases in nearby regions of San Diego County, including 87% in Carlsbad, 69% in Encinitas, 32% in Escondido, and 25% in Oceanside. Three other cities reported a slight decline in the homeless population. (Read more from “Mayor Says 94% of Homeless People Refuse Help Because of Addiction and Mental Illness” HERE)

Man Sentenced to Over 100 Years in Prison After Performing Lewd Acts, Threatening Kids

A 28-year-old California man was sentenced to 135 years in prison last week after being found guilty of performing lewd acts and threatening multiple children under the age of six, according to authorities.

Adam Bendell was sentenced on May 20 following his trial in Placer County, just 60 miles north of Sacramento, in which the jury found him guilty “after considering extensive testimony and evidence presented by the District Attorney’s Office and the Placer County Sheriff’s Office,” a press release from Placer County District Attorney’s Office stated.

“This case relates to a predatory individual who had access to young children through a dating relationship. The defendant exploited a position of trust by inappropriately touching the young victims during ‘bedtime’ or ‘nap time’. The abuse also escalated over time,” the attorney’s office stated.

In February 2021, Placer County Sheriffs received a report regarding three children who allegedly told their families that there had been “inappropriate activity” with a “non-familial adult in their life.” The children were then interviewed by Placer County MDIC and Children’s Advocacy Center which alleged Bendell would “consistently inappropriately touch the young victims” multiple times, who were between the ages of three to six years old.

The investigation also alleged Bendell had groomed the children throughout the abuse, which led to escalating his acts since the children believed they would “get in trouble” if they had told anyone, according to the press release.
