Feds Arrest Russian Nationals With Suspected ISIS Ties In Major Sting Operation

Federal law enforcement authorities apprehended a group of Russian nationals with suspected terrorist ties in a nationwide operation spanning several major U.S. cities.

Six Russian nationals believed to have ties to ISIS were arrested over the last week in a coordinated sting operation that spanned New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia, the New York Post first reported. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested the Russians, who originally hail from Tajikistan, after they were alerted by the FBI.

A source familiar with the operation confirmed the reporting to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Over the last few days, ICE agents arrested several non-citizens pursuant to immigration authorities,” read a joint statement from the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). “The actions were carried out in close coordination with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Forces.”

“The individuals arrested are detained in ICE custody pending removal proceedings,” the statement continued. “As the FBI and DHS have recently described in public and partner bulletins, the U.S. has been in a heightened threat environment. The FBI and DHS will continue working around the clock with our partners to identify, investigate, and disrupt potential threats to national security.” (Read more from “Feds Arrest Russian Nationals With Suspected ISIS Ties In Major Sting Operation” HERE)

Biden Admin Shoots Down $24 Billion Pay Raise For Enlisted Troops — After Spending Seven Times More On Ukraine

The Biden administration “strongly opposes” a proposal to raise the pay of junior enlisted service members in the military — even after nearly spending seven times the proposed amount on Ukraine and the broader region’s security.

The House Armed Services Committee’s (HASC) draft of the 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) would give all junior troops a pay raise, representing a rough total of $24.4 billion over five years, according to the Congressional Budget Office. The Biden administration said in a statement on Tuesday that it does not support the proposed “significant, permanent” pay hike until it has had a chance to conduct a compensation review.

“The Administration is strongly committed to taking care of our Servicemembers and their families, and appreciates the Committee’s concern for the needs of the most junior enlisted members, but strongly opposes making a significant, permanent change to the basic pay schedule before the completion of the Fourteenth Quadrennial Review of Military Compensation,” the White House budget office said.

The Biden administration has spent over $175 billion on aid to Ukraine and European security since 2022 — roughly one-seventh of the proposed pay hike for the junior troops, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. The $175 billion amount is broken into several packages over the course of two years, including the most recent aid package of $61 billion in April.

“When accounting for inflation, the average American makes less today than when Joe Biden took office. The White House wants to block Republicans from giving our troops the raise they need to make ends meet in the Biden economy,” Republican Indiana Rep. Jim Banks, a HASC member, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Meanwhile, they’ve sent the Ukrainian government $11,500 per Ukrainian household. It’s shameful.”

Poll: Only 19% of Joe Biden Voters Say Society Benefits From Marriage, Having Children

Very few supporters of President Joe Biden believe prioritizing marriage and having children is beneficial for society, polling from the Pew Research Center found.

Only 19 percent of Biden voters say that “society is better off if people make marriage and having children a priority,” compared to 59 percent of former President Donald Trump supporters and 39 percent of registered voters overall. The results come amid a singleness and loneliness epidemic among young people and as the United States continues to experience the lowest birth rate in a century.

The survey found “modest differences” between men and women as to whether a focus on marriage and children improves society.

“About six-in-ten men who support Trump (63 percent) say this, compared with 54 percent of Trump-supporting women. There is a similar gender gap among Biden supporters (22 percent of men vs. 16 percent of women),” according to the survey report.

By ethnicity, black Biden voters (29 percent) are more likely than Asian (20 percent), white (17 percent), and Hispanic (16 percent) Biden supporters to say an emphasis on marriage and family improves society. VIDEO: Biden Completely Freezes While Kamala, Trans Man Dance Mindlessly Beside Him; Another Apparent Breakdown

President Joe Biden sparked concerns Monday night when he appeared to freeze for the better part of a minute before his speech became slurred past the point of comprehension during a lively Juneteenth celebration at the White House.

During the event ahead of the national holiday next week, the Commander-in-Chief seemed to short-circuit as the rest of the crowd, including Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, grooved along to the lively band.

Philonise Floyd, brother of the late George Floyd, flanked Biden on his left and eventually noticed the concerning pause he was taking and wrapped his arm around him in an apparent effort to help.

Floyd was able to get a response out of Biden when he extended a ‘pound it’ fist in his direction, which the president met with his own fist. But Biden would go on to further meltdown as he delivered a speech following the musical performance. . .

Following Biden’s jarring freeze-up, he delivered a message about Juneteenth to the audience, but suffered another deeply off-putting moment, when his speech became slurred beyond comprehension.

WATCH: Unaired Video Shows Nancy Pelosi Admitting Responsibility for Not Having National Guard at Capitol

New video footage provided to House Republicans reveals then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) admitting responsibility for not having the National Guard protect the Capitol building ahead of protests on January 6, 2021.

The footage, Politico notes, was “was shown in a video shot by the former speaker’s daughter, documentarian Alexandra Pelosi, and recently provided to congressional investigators by HBO.” It was never aired — nor did Alexandra Pelosi provide it to the January 6 Committee when it was supposedly investigating the Capitol riot. . .

The video substantiates claims by former President Donald Trump that Pelosi was responsible for failing to prepare sufficient security ahead of the protest. Trump offered the National Guard in the days before the “Stop the Steal” rally 6, but was refused. (Trump was later faulted by critics for not intervening quickly to send the Guard during the riot.)

In the video, Pelosi is shown lamenting: “We have responsibility … we did not have any accountability for what was going on there. And we should have. … Why weren’t the National Guard there to begin with?”

She continues: “I take responsibility for not having them [the National Guard] just prepare for war.” (Read more from “WATCH: Unaired Video Shows Nancy Pelosi Admitting Responsibility for Not Having National Guard at Capitol” HERE)

Former Intel Officials Stand by Debunked Russian Disinfo Claim on Hunter Biden’s Laptop

Despite recent revelations and testimonies debunking their claims, none of the 51 former intelligence officials who suggested that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation ahead of the 2020 election have retracted their statements.

Reports indicate that these officials were aware their claims were false at the time. The FBI had possession of Hunter Biden’s laptop, and FBI agent Erika Jensen testified last week in Hunter Biden’s gun trial that the laptop was real and had not been tampered with. This testimony contradicted previous claims that the laptop’s data had been hacked or manipulated as part of a Russian disinformation effort to aid former President Donald Trump’s campaign.

The controversy began when Breitbart News’ Emma-Jo Morris, then with the New York Post, broke the “laptop from hell” story in October 2020. Shortly thereafter, CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand published a Politico story citing “dozens of former intel officials” who asserted that the laptop’s origins were likely tied to a Russian disinformation campaign. This narrative was used by then-presidential candidate Joe Biden to discredit the laptop’s contents during a debate with Trump.

Current Secretary of State Antony Blinken has been implicated in coordinating this story for political purposes. Despite widespread acceptance of the Politico story at the time, major media outlets, including CNN, eventually admitted more than 500 days later that the story was false.

When confronted, many of the former intelligence officials stood by their original claims. Former Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, for instance, expressed no regret over signing the letter. Similarly, other signatories like Ronald Marks, Marc Polymeropoulos, Douglas Wise, Paul Kolbe, John Sipher, Emile Nakhleh, and Gerald O’Shea defended their actions as “patriotic.”

Their lawyer, in a statement to Fox News, reiterated this sentiment, suggesting that the letter was a warning about ongoing foreign interference and that its content remains accurate in that context. Greg Treverton, former chair of the National Intelligence Council, dismissed the controversy as “very old news” and maintained that their inference was based on experience. Russ Travers, former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, also downplayed the issue, indicating it had been addressed years ago.

We’re Libertarians Who Refuse To Vote For The Party’s Ridiculous Presidential Candidate

I’m a libertarian, but I’m totally turned off by the party. And I’m not alone, especially now that Chase Oliver is its 2024 candidate.

Although libertarian ideology has mass appeal, the party has consistently alienated voters with outlandish antics and out-of-touch nominees, and this election cycle is no exception.

Since Oliver won the Libertarian primary late last month, the former Georgia Senate candidate has been going viral for some of his more lefty stances.

In resurfaced clips, the 38-year-old has been dragged for publicly advocating for defunding the police “until [they] restore trust with the people,” describing drag queen story hours as “performance art,” advocating for open borders and defending gender-affirming care for transgender kids as “the status quo.”

The fundamental libertarian principle is “live and let live,” and there are certainly libertarians who embrace that ethos on both the political right and the left.

But the party is making a massive error by choosing a hard-left-leaning libertarian with values destined to turn off Republicans who might be looking for an alternative in 2024. (Read more from “We’re Libertarians Who Refuse To Vote For The Party’s Ridiculous Presidential Candidate” HERE)

Congressman Massie Comes Up With Plan to Spring Bannon and Navarro From the Regime Gulag

As the Biden regime ramps up its chaotic and unjust lawfare, locking up its political enemies at a pace that would impress Kim Jong-Un mid-cheese-bite, Congressman Thomas Massie has proposed a way to curb some of this recent lawlessness. Massie suggests that the GOP could free Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro with a House resolution to rescind the subpoena and disavow the J6 Committee. The ball is now in Speaker Mike Johnson’s court—not exactly reassuring, right?

“Why don’t we rescind the Congressional subpoena for Steve Bannon and officially repudiate the J6 committee by a vote of Congress?” This move sounds straightforward enough and would be a significant win for the Republicans. . .

So, the big question is this: will the GOP actually heed Congressman Massie’s advice and vote to declare the sham subpoenas against Bannon and Navarro illegitimate? No, of course they won’t. We’re being led by a compromised Deep State operative, Mike Johnson, and the majority of Republican lawmakers are either secretly bought and paid for by the left or are willing participants of the uniparty. But let it be noted that the GOP has options to stop this unjust madness, and they won’t.

‘Make Their Lives Utterly Miserable’: Top US Commander Outlines ‘Hellscape’ Response If China Invades Taiwan

A top U.S. naval commander outlined a “hellscape” American response if China decides to invade Taiwan in an interview with The Washington Post published Monday.

The U.S. maintains a position of “strategic ambiguity” when it comes to Taiwan, not committing to whether it would militarily defend the island in the event of a Chinese incursion. But Navy Adm. Samuel Paparo, the new chief of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), told the Post in an interview that there is a plan to deter China by ensuring that Beijing understands the “utterly miserable” consequences it could suffer if it does launch an incursion.

“[China wants] to offer the world a short, sharp war so that it is a fait accompli before the world can get their act together,” Paparo told the Post. “My job is to ensure that between now and 2027 and beyond, the U.S. military and the allies are capable of prevailing.”

China views Taiwan as a rogue territory that needs to be reunited with the mainland and condemns other countries that view the island as independent. Chinese President Xi Jinping has ordered the country’s military to be ready to invade Taiwan by 2027.

The U.S. strategy in stopping China from launching an invasion is called “Hellscape,” Paparo told the Post. As soon as Chinese forces start moving toward Taiwan, the U.S. military would launch thousands of unmanned surface ships, aerial drones and submarines to surround the island. This would give the U.S., Taiwan and its regional partners enough time to coalesce for a bigger response, Paparo said. . .

“I want to turn the Taiwan Strait into an unmanned hellscape using a number of classified capabilities,” Paparo told the Post. “So that I can make their lives utterly miserable for a month, which buys me the time for the rest of everything.” (Read more from “‘Make Their Lives Utterly Miserable’: Top US Commander Outlines ‘Hellscape’ Response If China Invades Taiwan” HERE)

Canada’s Parliament Rocked by Allegations of Treason

The capital of one of the world’s most stable democracies is gripped by growing panic about foreign agents working in elected office. A bombshell report by Canadian lawmakers has unnerved Parliament Hill, alleging that unnamed politicians have been covertly working with foreign governments.

The revelation in heavily redacted findings released this week by an all-party national security committee adds intrigue to a separate and ongoing inquiry into foreign interference in Canada’s 2019 and 2021 elections.

The new report from the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians is the first to suggest that lawmakers in Canada’s parliament may have helped foreign actors meddle in political campaigns and leadership races. Heightened anxiety in Ottawa about foreign interference comes in the middle of historic global elections where factors such as artificial intelligence and emboldened foreign powers are testing the resilience of democratic systems.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been on the defensive since the allegations broke Monday. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is calling on the government to name names. . .

The committee with top-security clearance said it based its findings on more than 4,000 documents and some 1,000 pieces of evidence. Its report said China remains the largest foreign interference threat to Canada with India the second. (Read more from “Canada’s Parliament Rocked by Allegations of Treason” HERE)
