Dem Donors Pledge $2 Million to Fund New Debates if Joe Biden Drops Out: Report

A group of wealthy Democratic donors has pledged $2 million to fund new debates among presidential candidates if President Joe Biden decides to drop out of the race, The Washington Post reported Friday.

The group, led by former Intuit and PayPal chief executive Bill Harris, is calling for an open Democratic primary to decide which candidate would replace the president, according to the outlet.

The move is reportedly aimed at preventing a situation where Vice President Kamala Harris automatically gets the nod if Biden decides to suspend his campaign for a second term in office, according to the outlet.

“It’s not that we have to protect ourselves from chaos and drama,” Bill Harris argued. “We need drama and a little chaos. I think it can be refreshing and energizing.”

Report: Biden Guided by Document Instructing Him to ‘Walk to Podium’ During Events

White House staffers have reportedly created a document with photos and instructions for President Joe Biden to “walk” to the podium during events.

One template of the five-page document, which was obtained by Axios, shows a “large picture of the event space” on different pages, with words in “big text” that say, “View from podium” and “View from audience.”

The document also reportedly shows two different photos with the words “Walk to podium,” according to the outlet.

One person who had reportedly staffed an event for the president in the past year and a half told the outlet that the White House had “treated” a “simple fundraiser at a private residence” as if it “was a NATO summit.”

“I staffed a simple fundraiser at a private residence, but they treated it like it was a NATO summit with his movements,” the person told the outlet. (Read more from “Report: Biden Guided by Document Instructing Him to ‘Walk to Podium’ During Events” HERE)

99% of Illegal Aliens, Border Crossers Living Freely Across American Communities

Roughly 99 percent of illegal aliens and border crossers are living freely across the United States as President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) monitors fewer than 1.5 percent of the nation’s illegal population, a report states.

The federal data, compiled by the National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE) and circulated by several House and Senate Republicans, looks at the overall illegal population living in American communities — estimated at nearly 17 million today.

Of those millions of illegal aliens and border crossers in the U.S., just about 1.34 percent are either in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention or monitored via the Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP).

Meanwhile, as Breitbart News reported last week, roughly 7.4 million border crossers are now on ICE’s so-called “non-detained docket.” These are border crossers whom the Biden administration is aware of, living throughout the U.S., but who are not in ICE detention.

Of those on the non-detained docket, fewer than 2.5 percent are ISAP-monitored.

Joe Biden: I Was the ‘First Black Woman to Serve With a Black President’

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden referred to himself as the “first black woman to serve with a black president” and the first president that got “elected statewide in Delaware when I was a kid” in his latest baffling interview.

Listeners of Pennsylvania radio show WURD were confused to hear Biden stumble through a list of his purported accomplishments in the black community, as he appeared to trip over his words when talking about serving as former President Barack Obama’s vice president and choosing Vice President Kamala Harris as his own.

“By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman, to serve with a black president,” he told host Andrea Lawful-Sanders.

“I’m proud of the first black woman in the Supreme Court,” he added, referring to Justice Kentanji Brown Jackson.

Prior to the racial confusion, Biden also touted the accomplishment of becoming elected when he was a “kid.”

Biden Says He’s ‘First Black Woman to Serve With a Black President’ in Latest Gaffe

By New York Post. President Biden described himself as the “first black woman to serve with a black president” as he yet again twisted his words, his latest gaffe as he scrambles to reassure voters he’s still fit to lead. . .

Biden appeared to trip up as he described having served as former President Barack Obama’s vice president and then choosing Kamala Harris as his own. . .

He also claimed he understood the black struggle for representation — because he didn’t think Catholics could be president before John F. Kennedy was elected more than six decades ago.

Biden made the reference as he was telling the host he knew what Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court meant to “a young girl who is in school and having trouble.”

“I looked at John Kennedy and said, ‘Well, he — John — he got elected. Why can’t I get elected?’” Biden said. “People need things to look up to.” (Read more from “Biden Says He’s ‘First Black Woman to Serve With a Black President’ in Latest Gaffe” HERE)

White House Again Changes Debate Story; Now Says Biden Was Seen by a Doctor

The ever-shifting White House explanation for President Biden’s disastrous debate performance last week took another turn Thursday, with administration officials now insisting that Mr. Biden saw his doctor in the days after the debate.

The White House initially blamed Mr. Biden’s halting, incoherent answers on a lingering cold he caught while traveling to Europe twice last month.

Spokesman Andrew Bates said Mr. Biden, 81, was examined by his physician, just hours after the White House said he had not seen a doctor.

“Several days later, the president was seen to check on his cold and was recovering well,” Mr. Bates told CNN.

The claim that Mr. Biden was checked out by his doctor comes after White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters that Mr. Biden hasn’t had any “medical exams” since his February physical. Edward Snowden Reminds Americans About Origins of the Fourth of July Holiday: ‘Shooting at the Government’

Whistleblower Edward Snowden’s Fourth of July social media post reminds Americans of the revolutionary origins of the holiday, sparking a deeper conversation about government power.

. . .On Thursday, Snowden, former NSA contractor, took to X to share a thought-provoking message. He urged his followers to remember the historical context of Independence Day, stating, “As you celebrate the Fourth with your family, remember what it is that the holiday commemorates: shooting at the government. 🇺🇸🎆”.

This post follows a series of comments made by Snowden earlier this year, where he expressed concerns over the erosion of civil liberties and the increasing power of the government. . .

In January, Snowden expressed his views on the perceived decline of the ‘American Century,’ attributing it to factors such as the abandonment of the gold standard, union busting, and the erosion of liberties post-9/11. His tweet on Independence Day seems to be a continuation of his commentary on the state of American democracy.

In February, Snowden voiced his concerns over the misuse of advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, arguing that software engineers were being “henpecked” by an aggressively ignorant crowd’s “agenda.” (Read more from “Edward Snowden Reminds Americans About Origins of the Fourth of July Holiday: ‘Shooting at the Government'” HERE)

Target Will Soon Stop Accepting This Form of Payment

Target will no longer be accepting personal checks as a form of payment at its stores beginning later this month, the company confirmed.

The Minnesota-based big-box retail chain will stop taking checks this month due to “extremely low volumes,” of such payments, a spokesperson told NBC Chicago.

The company has taken “several measures” to notify customers in advance, the spokesperson added.

The change will go into effect on July 15 following the end of Target’s popular Circle Week sales event.

While personal checks will no longer be accepted, the store will still take cash, credit and debit cards, Target Circle Cards, digital wallets, SNAP/EBT cards and buy now-pay later services, Target said. (Read more from “Target Will Soon Stop Accepting This Form of Payment” HERE)

Major United In-Flight Attack Could Have Been Avoided if Air Marshals Weren’t Babysitting Migrants at Border, Union Says: ‘Worst Fears Coming True’

Passengers on a United Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Boston were forced to take down a man trying to stab a flight attendant last year — because there were no air marshals present due to their continued deployments to the southern border, The Post has learned.

During the height of the border crisis, the federal government has been sending 200 air marshals to the border on 21-day deployments, leaving major flights vulnerable to threats, Sonya LaBosco, a retired supervisory federal air marshal who speaks on behalf of the Air Marshal National Council, told The Post.

From her own experience, LaBosco knew the LA to Boston route was one that was always staffed by marshals. She became even more concerned when passengers of a March 2023 Flight 2609 began contacting her, knowing they were left to tackle the threatening passenger on their own. . .

“So our worst fears were coming true every day with the in-flight incidents that were occurring that air marshals would have been on those flights to keep passengers from being injured.”

That day — and any other day — air marshals have been deployed to the border, they’ve been there merely “handing out water, making sandwiches, Uber Eats runs … bringing diapers and stuff into the facilities and unloading trucks,” LaBosco said, adding that it’s “absolutely ridiculous.” (Read more from “Major United In-Flight Attack Could Have Been Avoided if Air Marshals Weren’t Babysitting Migrants at Border, Union Says: ‘Worst Fears Coming True'” HERE)

Family of Five Tortured During Home Invasion, Including Children, Police Say

A neighborhood in North Carolina is terrified after police said that a family of five was tortured by home invaders for over an hour.

The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that the five people were sitting in their garage in Spout Springs with the garage door up when they were confronted by a group of men at about 2 a.m. on June 15.

The five victims included a father, a mother, their daughter, and the daughter’s friend. The fifth victim was not identified. . .

Police said the group, which could have numbered up to six men, tied up the victims with duct tape and began torturing them with heated metal.

“They put a knife and fork on top of the stove and heated it up and they just started sticking it to the body,” said Harnett County Sheriff Wayne Coats. “They were trying to get them to tell them where their money and guns were.”

The father, mother, and daughter were treated for their non-life threatening injuries at UNC-Chapel Hill. (Read more from “Family of Five Tortured During Home Invasion, Including Children, Police Say” HERE)

Ukraine’s Hopes of NATO Entry Dashed Over Its Persistent Corruption

Ukraine has been jockeying for a spot in NATO since it gained independence from the former Soviet Union in 1991 and has good reason to believe it has a shot. After all, NATO allies agreed at the 2008 Bucharest Summit that the country would one day become a member of the military alliance.

Despite early eagerness, Ukraine pursued a non-alignment policy from 2010 to 2014; however, it jettisoned this approach around the time of Russia’s annexation of the Crimean Peninsula. In 2017, the Ukrainian parliament — which has not had elections since 2019 — adopted legislation recommitting the pursuit of membership in NATO.

A senior official in the U.S. State Department recently told the Telegraph that NATO will soon inform Ukraine ahead of the alliance’s annual summit next week that it remains too corrupt to enter the alliance.

“We have to step back and applaud everything that Ukraine has done in the name of reforms over the last two-plus years,” the official told the British paper. “As they continue to make those reforms, we want to commend them, we want to talk about additional steps that need to be taken, particularly in the area of anti-corruption. It is a priority for many of us around the table.”

This is hardly the first time the alliance has thrown cold water on Ukraine’s dreams of membership over its struggles with corruption. (Read more from “Ukraine’s Hopes of NATO Entry Dashed Over Its Persistent Corruption” HERE)
