Taxpayer-Funded Group Offers $30,000 to New Homebuyers — as Long as They Aren’t U.S. Citizens

Hacienda Community Development Corp. is participating in a taxpayer-funded down payment assistance program that gives money to non-citizens to buy homes in Oregon while excluding American citizens from eligibility, according to records provided to the Daily Caller.

Hacienda CDC is reportedly offering $30,000 for down payment assistance for eligible new homebuyers through their Camino a Casa program, according to a screenshot first reported by X user Oregon Citizen. “Clients work closely with financial coaches and HUD-certified housing counselors throughout the entirety of the homebuying process. In addition to mortgage readiness and financial fitness workshops, we provide various opportunities for down-payment assistance,” the organization states.

The eligibility requirements include being a non-citizen. Republican Oregon state Rep. Ed Diehl told the Daily Caller he received confirmation from Business Oregon that Hacienda CDC is using these funds for non-citizens while excluding American citizens.

“American citizens in Oregon are struggling to find and buy a home. We have a severe housing shortage in this state. I am appalled that the hard-earned, limited tax dollars of Oregonians are being used to prioritize home ownership for certain non-US citizens. Oregon can’t end this state-sponsored discrimination soon enough,” Diehl told the Daily Caller.

Hacienda CDC is partially funded through the Economic Equity Investment Program (EEIP), an equity-based beneficiary project established through the Economic Equity Investment Act (SB 1579), which the Oregon legislature passed in 2022. The organization receives millions in Oregon state taxpayer money and federal taxes through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), according to its recent annual report.

“How you guys falling for Kamala so bad? I mean, you guys are falling head over heels for this lady. She a VP almost four years, she’s done absolutely nothing,” the caller said. “And she copy and pasting Trump’s ‘no tax on tips,’ and everybody’s just falling for it. I mean, it is ridiculous. What’s goin’ on with y’all? … I mean, Charlamagne, you too, man — you just as guilty, man. I mean, not you, [DJ] Envy, so much, ’cause you somewhat 50/50, I can see it. But Charla, man.”

“Actually, I’ve been supporting the vice president since 2020 … I did a couple of campaign stops with her in 2020. I like her message of rebuilding the middle class,” Charlamagne responded. “Don’t you want the opportunity to own a small business? Don’t you want the opportunity to own a home? Don’t you want to see more money in working-class people’s pockets? And I like the fact that she’s put her money where her mouth is in regards to mental health, $285 million to increase the amount of mental health professionals in schools … Her being a leader in the maternal health space … Do I love the whole Democratic Party? No, but she has some policies that I can get behind.”

The caller then said Harris has failed in her role of stemming the border crisis.

“So you mean to tell me, the past four years — what’s been going on, everybody’s hurting. She’s done absolutely nothing for the border. That was her one job as VP — absolutely nothing,” he said. “She is just a face. Trump Shooter Had Multiple Encrypted Accounts Overseas

The gunman who nearly killed former President Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month used encrypted messaging accounts on multiple platforms based in Belgium, New Zealand and Germany, according to a House representative appointed to a congressional task force investigating the assassination attempt.

Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla., a retired Green Beret appointed to the 13-member House bipartisan task force investigating the attempted assassination of Trump, told reporters about the accounts while at the Trump Hotel Chicago Wednesday.

One reporter asked Waltz what he and other members of the task force had learned during the investigation and about the encrypted messages on the shooter’s cellphone.

“We still haven’t learned a lot. We haven’t learned that much about those overseas accounts,” he said, referring to accounts held by would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks. “We do know that they were in, if I get this correctly, Belgium, New Zealand and Germany.

“Why does a 19-year-old kid who is a health care aide need encrypted platforms not even based in the United States, but based abroad, where most terrorist organizations know it is harder for our law enforcement to get into? Former Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards at DNC: Abortion Makes Women ‘Unstoppable’

Cecile Richards, the former president of Planned Parenthood, said during a speech at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago on Wednesday night that women are “unstoppable” when they are able to have their unborn babies aborted.

“When women are free to make their own decisions about their lives and follow our dreams, we are unstoppable. But when Roe v. Wade was overturned, a generation of young people lost that freedom,” claimed Richards, who was president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and of Planned Parenthood Action Fund from 2006 to 2018.

Richards then mourned the existence of a baby who was born to a 12-year-old rape survivor in Mississippi — a baby whom she appeared to suggest should have been aborted — while celebrating the birth of her own grandchild.

“Like Ashley, a 12-year-old rape survivor in Mississippi. Because of her state’s abortion ban, she started seventh grade with a newborn. That’s the Republican promise of state’s rights,” Richards said.

“Last year, I became a grandmother. And during my daughter’s pregnancy, nothing mattered more to me than her health. Politics should never stand in the way of anyone’s healthcare or prevent any family from experiencing the joy my grandson Teddy has brought to my life,” she continued, before calling for the election of Kamala Harris, who has refused to cite any abortion restrictions she supports.

RFK Jr to Weigh Dropping U.S. Presidential Bid to Join Forces With Trump

By Reuters. Independent U.S. presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considering ending his campaign to join forces with Republican rival Donald Trump, Kennedy’s running mate said in an interview posted online on Tuesday.

The vice presidential candidate, Nicole Shanahan, said that as independents she and Kennedy ran the risk of drawing support from would-be Trump voters and clearing the way for Democrats Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to win the November election. . .

Trump told CNN on Tuesday he would “certainly be open” to Kennedy playing a role in his administration if the independent candidate drops out of the race and endorses him.

“I like him, and I respect him,” Trump told the network in an interview after a campaign stop in Michigan.

“He’s a brilliant guy. He’s a very smart guy. RFK Jr.’s Running Mate Admits Campaign is Considering Joining Forces With Donald Trump

By Breitbart. Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, says their campaign is considering joining forces with Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump.

In an interview with Tom Bilyeu on his show, Impact Theory, Shanahan revealed that she trusts “the future” of the United States under the leadership of people such as Trump and his vice presidential pick, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH).

When questioned about rumors that Kennedy was in talks with either Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign about a “potential endorsement” in exchange for a position in their cabinets, Shanahan said they were “definitely not in talks with Harris” and “definitely never have brought up this idea of an endorsement” with Harris’s campaign.

“There’s two options that we’re looking at, and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Walz presidency because we draw votes from Trump — or we draw, somehow, more votes from Trump,” Shanahan revealed. “Or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump, and we walk away from that, and we explain to our base why we’re making this decision.”

“If we’re splitting hairs, I would say that I trust the future of this country more under the leadership of the Trump and the Theos and the JD Vances than I do of the Harrises and Reid Hoffman,” Shanahan added during the interview. A Tunisian research lab and Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases were embroiled in scandal in 2021 over revelations of cruel experiments on beagles, and new documents from an animal rights group reveals the Biden administration was aware of the NIAID’s coverup.

FOIA documents obtained by White Coat Waste (WCW) Project and provided to the Daily Caller revealed Fauci and his agency worked to cover up their funding of the beagle experiments the same day the Tunisian lab admitted both publicly and privately that NIAID provided the funding.

The Caller first reported in 2021 that Congress probed NIAID for funding abusive tests on beagles.

The infamous image of beagles’ heads stuffed in bags teeming with sand flies resulted in visceral outrage, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene displayed the image at a congressional hearing this past June.

The Atlantic Ocean is Cooling Down at Record Speeds Causing a Meltdown Among Global Warming “Experts”

A strange anomaly is going on in the Atlantic Ocean, and experts can’t seem to understand the reason behind it.

Over the past year, surface temperatures in the Atlantic Ocean hit some new highs as temperatures across the globe reached record-breaking heights in general.

But, it seems that something has occurred to reverse the case in the Atlantic Ocean with its surface temperatures suddenly dropping at a record speed over the past few months.

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), data shows that the Atlantic’s sea surface temperatures began cooling since May. . .

These unprecedented changes are evidently a cause for concern for the environment. The NOAA says that changes in the El Niño and La Niña weather patterns could impact rainfall in surrounding continents, and that Atlantic Niños have been shown to increase the likelihood of hurricanes near the Cape Verde islands. Former GOP Rep. George Santos Pleads Guilty to Felonies, Breaks Down Outside Courthouse (VIDEO)

Former Representative George Santos, who had previously maintained his innocence, has shocked many by pleading guilty to two felonies: wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. This decision comes just weeks before he was scheduled to stand trial on 23 charges, including wire fraud, identity theft, and making false statements to the Federal Election Commission.

Santos, 36, entered his plea in a Long Island court yesterday, admitting to serious charges that have overshadowed his brief political career. His guilty plea will likely lead to significant legal consequences, including a mandatory two-year prison sentence for aggravated identity theft alone. Legal experts anticipate that Santos could face between six to seven years in total.

The controversy surrounding Santos began soon after his unexpected election victory in November 2022. Reports emerged revealing that he had fabricated details on his résumé and misrepresented his background. This led to an investigation into his campaign finances, which uncovered further discrepancies and misconduct.

In December 2023, amidst mounting scrutiny and scandal, Santos was expelled from the House of Representatives by a vote from his fellow lawmakers. The expulsion marked a dramatic fall from grace for the once-prominent GOP figure.

Following his court appearance, Santos gave an emotional speech to reporters outside the courthouse. The weight of his plea deal appeared to hit him hard, as he was seen breaking down in tears. “It’s clear to me now that I allowed ambition to cloud my judgment, leading me to make decisions that were unethical and guilty,” Santos said, visibly emotional. “Pleading guilty is a step I never imagined I’d take, but it is a necessary one because it is the right thing to do. Santos will be sentenced on February 7. In addition to prison time, he is required to pay nearly $373,750 in restitution and forfeit over $205,000. The court proceedings revealed that Santos is struggling to raise the required funds, leading to a tense exchange between his attorneys and prosecutors. If Santos fails to come up with the money, prosecutors have indicated they will move to liquidate his assets.

Biden made the shift in March because the Pentagon believes China’s nuclear arsenal will rival the US and Russia, the New York Times reported Tuesday.

The new strategy is called the “Nuclear Employment Guidance” and also readies the US for a possible coordinated threat between China, Russia and North Korea, the newspaper reported.

In a pair of recent speeches, two senior administration officials have hinted at the growing Chinese nuclear threat.

“The President recently issued updated nuclear weapons employment guidance to account for multiple nuclear-armed adversaries, and, in particular, the significant increase in the size and diversity of [China’s] nuclear arsenal,” said Vipin Narang this month when he was still the acting assistant secretary of defense of space policy. Report: Biden Secretly Altered U.S. Nuclear Strategy

By Washington Times. President Biden has reportedly altered the U.S. strategic nuclear plans toward opposing China’s burgeoning nuclear arsenal and preparing for possible nuclear coordination between China, Russia and North Korea.

According to a report Tuesday evening in the New York Times, the highly classified “Nuclear Employment Guidance” was altered in March without any public announcement.

“The document, updated every four years or so, is so highly classified that there are no electronic copies, only a small number of hard copies distributed to a few national security officials and Pentagon commanders,” the Times reported.

Congress is expected to be notified of the changes in unclassified form before Mr. Biden’s term in the White House ends in January.

Michelle Obama Plays Race Card In Speech At DNC

Former First Lady Michelle Obama took a controversial turn in her speech at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night, accusing former President Donald Trump of racism in his opposition to her and her husband, former President Barack Obama.

In her address, Obama suggested that Trump’s antagonism towards the Obama administration was rooted in racial prejudice, asserting that Trump’s worldview was threatened by the success of a highly-educated, black couple. This speech marks a significant departure from her 2016 message of maintaining dignity and rising above negativity, famously captured in her mantra, “When they go low, we go high.”

During her speech, Obama alleged, “For years, Donald Trump did everything in his power to try to make people fear us. His limited, narrow view of the world made him feel threatened by the existence of two hard-working, highly-educated, successful people who happen to be black.”
