Trump Reveals Why He Won’t Debate Harris Again

. . .“We just don’t think that there’s any need for it,” the 45th president exclusively told The Post Thursday after announcing on Truth Social he would not take the stage against Vice President Kamala Harris again.

“We’ve done two. You know, one against Biden [on June 27], one against Comrade Kamala. I did well. I did really well,” the 78-year-old said during a phone interview.

. . .Shortly before Trump’s announcement, the campaign blasted out a “confidential memorandum” claiming that its internal polling had showed the Republican nominee gaining two percentage points on Harris among likely voters across seven unidentified “target states.”

The GOP campaign had previously argued that the Harris camp should “stop f—ing around,” in the words of one Trump spokesperson, and take up the former president’s offer of a Sept. 25 debate hosted by NBC News.

Instead, the Harris camp countered by proposing a debate to be held sometime in October.

“There’s no debate on the 25th,” Trump told The Post Thursday afternoon. “Nothing has been arranged.” (Read more from “Trump Reveals Why He Won’t Debate Harris Again” HERE)

Influx of Wild-Driving Haitian Migrants Turning Streets of Springfield, Ohio Into Combat Zone: ‘Eight to 10 Accidents a Day Here’

Forget about the ducks and geese allegedly disappearing from public parks. In this beleaguered city, residents say the biggest problem, by far, is that wild-driving Haitian migrants — unfamiliar with US road laws — are turning the streets into combat zones.

And the result can be deadly. The family of Springfield grandma Kathy Heaton experienced this firsthand on Dec. 1 — a day after her 71st birthday — when a Haitian migrant ran her down while she was collecting her garbage cans.

And the driver got off scot-free. . .

Kathy was struck so violently that both her socks were left behind on the pavement as her body was thrown across the street. Debris littered the roadway, and clumps of hair were found in the car’s cracked windshield, according to the police report.

But three days later, prosecutors decided that the driver of the car that hit her – 38-year-old Robenson Louis – wouldn’t face charges, even though Mandy said he was driving with expired license plates. Trump Pledges to End Taxes on Overtime: ‘Hardest-Working Citizens in Our Country’

Former President Donald Trump pledged to end taxes on overtime, referring to those workers as the “hardest-working citizens in our country.”

“I’m also announcing that as part of our additional tax cuts, we will end all taxes on overtime,” Trump said during a rally, prompting applause from those in attendance. “That gives people more of an incentive to work. It [makes it a lot easier for the companies] to get the people.”

Trump praised overtime workers for their hard work while lamenting that Washington has not “been looking out for them.”

“I went to some economists. Great ones. I said, ‘what do you think?’ They said, ‘It would be unbelievable, you’ll get a whole new workforce by getting that.’ No taxes on overtime,” he said. “The people who work overtime are among the hardest working citizens in our country, and for too long, no one in Washington has been looking out for them. Those are the people. They really work. They’re police officers. They’re nurses, factory workers, construction workers, truck drivers, and machine operators. It’s time for the working man and woman to finally catch a break and that’s what we’re doing, because this is a good one, and I think it’s going to be great for the country. So that’s why we will be saying that if you’re an overtime worker, when you pass 40 hours a week, your overtime hours will be tax free.”

Win for Trump: Judge Tosses Two Counts Against Former President in Fani Willis’ Indictment

A judge tossed two counts against former President Donald Trump Thursday in the case brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

While Judge Scott McAfee declined to toss the whole indictment under the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause, he found that some charges did “lie beyond this State’s jurisdiction,” including the two counts against Trump and another against co-defendants. Willis indicted Trump and 18 others in August 2023 for allegedly interfering in the 2020 election in Georgia.

“President Trump and his legal team in Georgia have prevailed once again,” Steve Sadow, lead counsel for Trump in the Fulton County case, said in a statement. “The trial court has decided that counts 15 and 27 in the indictment must be quashed/dismissed.”

McAfee tossed counts 14, 15, and 27 of the indictment, which contained allegations related to filing false documents in federal court.

As a whole, McAfee found the indictment is “within the scope of state authority under the appointment powers granted in Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution and the police powers reserved by the states in the 10th Amendment.” (Read more from “Win for Trump: Judge Tosses Two Counts Against Former President in Fani Willis’ Indictment” HERE)

The West’s Churches Are Under Attack — Who’s Responsible?

The Church of the Immaculate Conception in France went up in flames at the start of September, becoming the latest classic church in Europe to burn. Authorities are trying to determine what is driving the attacks, and data points to anti-Christian radicals and Islamists as the primary culprits.

A suspect with a history of allegedly committing arson attacks on churches was arrested for allegedly setting fire to the Saint-Omer church last week, according to France Bleu. He had recently been released from prison and allegedly targeted churches multiple times. . . .

“There is a general anti-Christian sentiment in France, from its anti-clerical and radical secularist history, which has gone unchallenged for years,” Anja Hoffmann of the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians (OIDAC) in Europe told the Caller. “It should not come as too much of a surprise that these attitudes might at some point translate into violent action.”

She stated an “increasing number of perpetrators” of the crimes targeting Christians are members of anti-Christian “ideological, political or religious groups.”

Hoffmann pointed to examples of vandalism from both radical Islam and the far left. During 2024, OIDAC Europe has recorded the defacement of one church, two chapels, five crosses, and over 50 graves with phrases like “Submit to Allah and “I will make war on the Christian world,” according to Hoffmann.

Biden Spokesman Accidentally Lets Reporter Know What He Really Thinks About Vets Angry at Afghanistan Debacle

White House spokesman John Kirby told staffers via email on Wednesday that there was “no use” in responding to veterans’ concerns about the Biden administration’s Afghanistan withdrawal — but he mistakenly also sent the message to Fox News.

The White House has faced years of criticism for the 2021 withdrawal, which was widely seen as a disastrous operation and a failure of leadership in Washington. Amid the third anniversary of the withdrawal, Kirby wrote in an email to staffers on Wednesday that it was a waste of time to chime in on veterans’ opinions about the withdrawal and accidentally included Fox News on the chain after the outlet had sent an initial media inquiry.

“Obviously no use in responding. A ‘handful’ of vets indeed and all of one stripe,” Kirby wrote in a reply-all email chain with White House staffers and Fox News.

When pressed by Fox News why he sent the email, Kirby told the outlet he “didn’t realize you were on the chain.” The email thread was started when Fox reached out to the White House about criticism for the 2021 withdrawal, which included four quotes from veterans criticizing the operation. Kirby’s reply came while he was traveling with President Joe Biden during a visit to New York on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

The Afghanistan withdrawal was initially planned by the former Trump administration in 2020, but executed by the Biden administration in a disordered and abrupt fashion. A lack of planning and leadership — and an incorrect prediction that the Taliban wouldn’t seize the country so quickly — created a chaotic situation for U.S. military forces on the ground and led to the deaths of 13 servicemembers. Reports Confirm Haitian Migrants are Eating Geese, Cats

Springfield, Ohio, a city not typically in the national spotlight, has found itself at the center of a heated immigration debate. The city has recently seen an influx of Haitian migrants, sparking a media firestorm over unusual reports involving local wildlife.

The core of the controversy stems from claims that some Haitian migrants in Springfield have been consuming local wildlife, including geese and ducks. A recording obtained by The Federalist captures a local resident’s call to 911 from late August, reporting a group of Haitian migrants carrying four geese. The caller, who was on a tight schedule for a job orientation, noted that each migrant was holding a goose.

“I’m sitting here, I’m riding on the trail, I’m going to my orientation for my job today, and I see a group of Haitian people, there was about four of ’em, they all had geese in their hand,” the caller told the dispatcher. The dispatcher’s questions and the caller’s responses confirm the presence of the geese but stop short of confirming what was done with them.

This incident aligns with earlier reports from August, which have added fuel to the debate. While local law enforcement has yet to substantiate claims of pet consumption, the reports of geese and ducks being consumed are supported by 911 recordings and police reports, lending them a degree of credibility.

Liberal media outlets, including CNN, and Democratic politicians like Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) have vehemently dismissed these reports as misinformation. They argue that the claims have been debunked, despite the evidence pointing to real concerns among Springfield residents. CNN and other outlets have labeled the reports as baseless, but the growing scrutiny suggests that these claims are being taken more seriously than initially portrayed.

The Debate Was So Biased It Was Divorced From Reality. Trump Should Refuse to Do Another

Tuesday night during the presidential debate between former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, the fact-checks were flying, but only in one direction. As expected, ABC News moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis were criminally biased, making the debate effectively three-on-one against Trump and practically amounting to an in-kind donation to the Harris campaign.

The lying and gaslighting were so brazen from Harris, and the “fact-checking” from Muir and Davis so lop-sided (they failed even once to push back or correct any of Harris’ obvious falsehoods), that the entire spectacle eventually took on an air of unreality. It was bizarre to see it happening live on the air. By the end, my main takeaway was that the purpose of these debates, besides the media’s obvious goal of boosting Harris and hurting Trump, is to confuse and demoralize the American people by distorting reality and flooding the internet with lies, making it impossible to know what’s true and what’s not.

At one point, Harris recited a litany of the most obvious, thoroughly debunked lies about Trump, from the “fine people on both sides” comment on Charlottesville, to the “bloodbath” remark about the auto industry, to claiming he “incited” the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6. Anyone can go online and check for themselves that these things are all hoaxes; they never happened. But the moderators said nothing.

They again said nothing when Harris lied about her views on fracking, gun control, and defunding the police. Nor did they say anything when she erroneously claimed there are no American troops in combat zones (three U.S. soldiers were killed in a drone attack in Jordan earlier this year, and seven were injured in a raid against ISIS in Iraq last month), that police officers died on Jan. 6, that third-trimester abortions never happen, or that the Trump tax cuts disproportionately benefited the wealthy. On and on, lie after lie.

With Trump, it was of course much different. Muir and Davis routinely inserted themselves into the debate under the guise of “fact-checking” the former president, even on trivial matters, to the point that at times it devolved into a side debate between Trump and the moderators. ABC Should Be Prosecuted for Illegal Contributions to Harris in ‘Debate’

Former President Donald Trump showed up for a traditional political debate Tuesday night, but he instead found himself in the middle of a 90-minute ambush to boost Kamala Harris.

Working as a team, ABC hosts David Muir and Linsey Davis propped up Harris and repeatedly tried to vanquish Trump by talking over him, cutting him off, and asking bizarre questions they did not ask Harris. At one point, Davis jumped in for Harris and offered a rebuttal to one of Trump’s comments on abortion, a move beyond the scope of a moderator.

They allowed Harris more time to respond and followed her when she veered off topic, but gave Trump no such breaks. It was not a debate, but a campaign contribution. That’s not a big surprise from either moderator, as Muir hosts the most Trump-negative network news evening broadcast and Davis has a long track record of promoting Democrat talking points including stolen election claims from Hillary Clinton.

The moderators wasted time rehashing the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol and pressed Trump on whether he really believes he won the 2020 election, at times putting words in his mouth. They barely touched on the economy, a top voter issue, and not once did the moderators acknowledge the attempted assassination of Trump. Nor did they question Harris about the lax security the Biden-Harris administration provided for Trump on the campaign trail that contributed to the shooting.

In broadcasting, where advertising is sold by the second, time really is money. A 30-second commercial in the February Super Bowl cost $7 million. (Read more from “ABC Should Be Prosecuted for Illegal Contributions to Harris in ‘Debate’” HERE)

Kamala Harris’ Debate Earrings Trigger Theories Among Trump Supporters

By the New York Post. Some conspiracy-minded supporters of former President Donald Trump have claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris got secret — and unfair — help in her Tuesday night debate against the Republican nominee.

The theory goes like this: Harris’ earrings contained a clandestine Bluetooth device that enabled her to be coached by unseen aides during the ABC News forum in Philadelphia, in flagrant violation of the rules set out by the Disney-owned network.

One X user dubbed The Maverick Approach, a self-described “alternative news source,” peddled a claim early Wednesday that Harris had been fitted with a pair of smart earrings developed by NOVA, a German company.

“There’s a major issue with this debate,” they posted. “I told myself she was fed what to say during the debate and my hunch was right. Nova is the world’s first and only wireless earphone earrings.” . . .

The clip-on NOVA H1 Audio Earrings sell for about $625 apiece and are able to “project sound from inside the pearl straight into your ear canal,” according to its Kickstarter page, which appears to have been dormant since last year and includes comments suggesting people hadn’t received the product despite chipping in cash.

Company says Kamala Harris’ debate earrings strikingly similar to its Bluetooth device, offers to make ones for Trump

By Emily Crane. A [German] tech company has added fuel to the Kamala Harris earrings conspiracy theory after quipping that her debate night jewelry is strikingly similar to the Bluetooth devices it makes — and has even offered to design “orange” ones for Donald Trump. . .

“We do not know whether Mrs. Harris wore one of our products. The resemblance is striking and while our product was not specifically developed for the use at presidential debates, it is nonetheless suited for it,” Icebach’s managing director, Malte Iversen, said in a tongue-in-cheek statement to tech outlet Tom’s Guide.

“To ensure a level playing field for both candidates, we are currently developing a male version and will soon be able to offer it to the Trump campaign. The choice of color is a bit challenging though as orange does not go well with a lot of colors.”

Meanwhile, the company has also vowed to clear up the “rumors and myths surrounding our wonderful products” during a forthcoming appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. . . . After thorough discussions we have decided that we will grant one live interview . . . our chosen interviewer is Jimmy Fallon, a trusted Bavarian in heart.” (Read more about Harris’s debate earrings HERE)
