End of Fluoridation of US Water Could Be in Sight After Federal Court Ruling

For decades, drinking water fluoridation opponents were often portrayed as a fringe element and conspiracy theorists, but a federal ruling in the US may put an end to the practice and marks a pivotal point in their campaign to convince the public and policymakers of the substance’s dangers for infants’ developing brains.

Armed with a growing body of scientific evidence pointing toward fluoride’s neurotoxicity, public health advocates say the legal win shows they are overcoming “institutional inertia” and the unwillingness of federal public health agencies to admit they may have been wrong.

The order last week requiring the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to begin the process of strengthening fluoride regulations represents a “landmark” legal win that has long been in the making, said Stuart Cooper, director of the Fluoridation Action Network advocacy group.

“After many years of them ignoring us and defending fluoridation, we had an opportunity to get a fair and balanced adjudication in courts,” Cooper said.

The Obama-appointed US judge Edward Chen found fluoridation could cause developmental damage and lower IQ in children at levels to which the public is generally exposed in drinking water. Though the ruling did not state the level at which fluoridation would damage brains, the levels in US water present an unreasonable risk, the court found. North Korean Engineers Utilize AI and Fake IDs To Secure US Remote Work

A recent report by the Asian Nikkei Review reveals that North Korean engineers are leveraging artificial intelligence and sophisticated deception techniques to secure remote jobs with foreign governments and corporations, ultimately funneling U.S. dollars into the regime of Kim Jong-un.

The investigation highlights the case of Matthew Isaac Knoot, a 38-year-old from Nashville, Tennessee, who allegedly operated a “laptop farm” aimed at generating revenue for North Korea’s weapons program. Knoot reportedly used stolen identities to mislead American and British companies into hiring North Korean workers disguised as remote IT personnel. The proceeds from these fraudulent operations were laundered into accounts linked to both North Korean and Chinese entities.

According to the Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee, Knoot’s operation garnered over $250,000 in revenue between July 2022 and August 2023 from each false worker employed. Authorities dismantled Knoot’s operation in August, leading to charges of aggravated identity theft and conspiracy to unlawfully employ aliens, with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison looming if he is found guilty.

This incident is not an isolated case. It exemplifies a broader trend where North Korean actors infiltrate U.S. tech companies using forged or stolen identities, all in an effort to finance the regime’s activities or facilitate cyberattacks. In a report published by Google’s security subsidiary, Mandiant, a North Korean hacker group known as “UNC5267” was identified as actively attempting to breach U.S. tech firms. This decentralized group, operating since at least 2018, has members living in various countries, including China, Russia, and parts of Africa and Southeast Asia.

Lili Infante, founder and CEO of Miami-based cybersecurity startup CAT Labs, spoke about the challenges her firm has faced, stating, “We’ve weeded out over 50 candidates that were North Korean spies. I had to implement specific controls in my hiring process.”

In a similar vein, cybersecurity firm KnowBe4 reported in July that it had detected a North Korean spy posing as a remote software engineer within its ranks. The company noted that the individual passed several background checks, illustrating the sophistication of these infiltration tactics.

The techniques employed by North Korean operatives are becoming increasingly advanced, with reports indicating that some individuals juggle multiple remote jobs simultaneously, generating millions of dollars for the regime. As the threat of infiltration continues to grow, U.S. companies are urged to enhance their vetting processes to safeguard against these deceptive tactics.

Team Harris Reportedly Worrying Behind Closed Doors That $1 Billion War Chest Won’t Be Enough To Beat Trump

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is worried that her $1 billion war chest won’t be enough to win the upcoming November election, sources told The Washington Post Wednesday.

Harris’ campaign leadership is worried that the huge haul it acquired in the less than 80 days since the campaign began will not flip certain crucial swing states that are currently within the polling margin of error, sources familiar with Harris’ campaign strategy told The Washington Post. Despite the campaign outspending former President Donald Trump by significant margins, Republicans’ momentum in swing states seems to be increasing amid the deadlocked race.

“Talking about this type of big money doesn’t convey the sense of urgency to do every single thing in all of the big and small ways,” one person involved told The Washington Post. “We are in the margin of error. This will come down to grinding it out.”

Harris received a $126 million influx in only three days when President Joe Biden suspended his campaign in July, according to The Washington Post. Additionally, the campaign, along with other aligned groups, raised $361 million in August.

However, polling has remained too close to call between the two candidates. (Read more from “Team Harris Reportedly Worrying Behind Closed Doors That $1 Billion War Chest Won’t Be Enough To Beat Trump” HERE)

Donald Trump Announces Major Family News

Former President Donald Trump announced Thursday at a campaign event in Detroit that his youngest daughter, Tiffany Trump, was pregnant with her first child.

News of Trump’s eleventh grandchild came as the GOP nominee thanked his daughter’s father-in-law, businessman Massad Boulos, for supporting him from the audience of the former president’s speech to the Detroit Economic Club.

“He happened to be the father of Tiffany’s husband, Michael, who’s a very exceptional young guy. And she’s an exceptional young woman. And she’s going to have a baby. So that’s nice,” Trump said.

Tiffany Trump had yet to announce her pregnancy at the time the Republican candidate made his remarks.

The announcement comes nearly two years after the former first daughter married husband Michael Boulos at a ceremony at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. (Read more from “Donald Trump Announces Major Family News” HERE)

Court: Safeguards Barring Foreign Money in Ohio Ballot Campaigns Can Take Effect for 2024 Election

An Ohio law prohibiting the use and acceptance of foreign money in state ballot initiative campaigns can take effect for the 2024 election, a federal appellate court ruled Tuesday.

Writing on behalf of the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, Judge Amul Thapar granted an emergency request by Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose and Attorney General David Yost to place a stay on an August district court injunction that prevented the law from being enacted. The district judge overseeing the case argued the statute’s definition of “foreign nationals” is “likely unconstitutional,” adding these individuals “have political speech rights” covered by the First Amendment.

The appellate court issued a temporary stay on that injunction last month while it considered the merits of the case.

“Because our initial review suggests that the district court’s First Amendment analysis was flawed, we now grant Ohio’s motion for a stay of the district court’s order,” Thapar wrote.

Thapar was joined in his majority opinion by Judge David McKeague. The dissent was authored by Judge Stephanie Davis. (Read more from “Court: Safeguards Barring Foreign Money in Ohio Ballot Campaigns Can Take Effect for 2024 Election” HERE)

Hypocrites: Top Democrats, Including Election Denier Jamie Raskin, Won’t Commit To Certifying a Trump Victory

Top congressional Democrats told Axios on Thursday they would not commit to certifying the 2024 election if former President Donald Trump wins.

The failure to commit to certifying the election would prove many members to be hypocrites, including House Oversight Committee ranking member and former January 6 committee member Jamie Raskin (D-MD), who told Axios that he is unsure if he’ll certify a Trump win.

Raskin denied Trump won the 2016 election when he objected to Trump’s electors in 2017.

If Trump “won a free, fair and honest election, then we would obviously accept it,” Raskin said, assuming the election was free, fair and honest. “I definitely don’t assume that,” he added. “Democrats don’t engage in election fraud and election fabrication.”

A video surfaced in September of a panel discussion in February 2024 in which Raskin speculated that Congress would invalidate a Trump election victory, even though it could be at the risk of “civil war.”

“It is not clear whether Raskin was actually outlining a plan of action, or rather using a hypothetical to argue that the U.S. Supreme Court was placing what he considered an undue burden on Congress to keep Trump out of office,” Breitbart News’s Joel Pollak reported. Barack Obama Sounds Alarm: Black Voters Not Enough Behind Kamala Harris, Especially ‘The Brothers’

Former President Barack Obama warned supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday that not enough black voters are backing her for president, especially “the brothers.”

The warning suggests top Democrats are panicked about Harris’s reduced support among black voters.

Only 84 percent of black voters say they would vote for Harris, according to a Pew Research poll from September 30, while 13 percent said they would vote for Trump. Harris’s support among the demographic is down eight points from President Joe Biden’s support in 2020, when he won 92 percent of their vote.

Among black men, only 80 percent support Harris, a Washington Post/Ipsos poll recently found, while a NAACP poll found one in four under the age of 50 showed support for Trump.

“We have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities, as we saw when I was running,” Obama told Harris supporters in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty. Lucid Dreaming Study: First Ever Two-Way Communication During Sleep Recorded (VIDEO)

In a world first, a new study conducted by a California-based neurotechnology company has recorded two-way communication between sleeping individuals during lucid dreaming. Using special tracking equipment, the groundbreaking research from REMspace recorded two individuals exchanging a simple message while lucid dreaming.

The breakthrough recording took place on September 24, which was the result of almost five years of rigorous research. Not only are these findings unprecedented, but REMspace founder and CEO Michel Raduga says they could also unlock the potential of dreams as a platform for human communication. . .

According to studies, lucid dreaming refers to exceptional occurrences where we can become aware of the fact that we are dreaming. In a lucid dream, we remain physiologically asleep and immersed within a strikingly realistic dream environment, all while being aware that we are dreaming. In addition to this awareness, we can also willingly control actions within the dream. Lucid dream occurs during the REM sleep stage. . .

The REMspace study was carried out on September 24, 2024, taking place at the participants’ respective homes. As they slept, their brain waves and other polysomnographic data were tracked remotely by a specially developed equipment.

When this equipment picked up that a participant had entered a lucid dream, it sent word in Remmyo (an artificial dream language designed to be detectable through sensitive sensors) to the participant via earbuds. The participant repeated the word in his dream, and this was then stored and sent to another participant as she entered a lucid dream. She confirmed the message upon awakening, marking the first-ever message exchanged in dreams. (Read more from “Lucid Dreaming Study: First Ever Two-Way Communication During Sleep Recorded” HERE)

Harris Ignores Free Speech, Gun Rights in Hyperbolic Tirade About Saving Constitution

What politicians don’t say often matters just as much as what they do. Vice President Kamala Harris celebrated several amendments in the Bill of Rights but notably left out some others when she claimed her Republican opponent would “terminate” the Constitution.

On Thursday, Harris participated in a Univision town hall in Las Vegas, where she courted Hispanic voters in prime time, many of whom are obviously weary of authoritarianism under communist rule. Harris was answering a question about her party pushing President Joe Biden out of the way for her own candidacy when she launched into a hyperbolic tirade about how former President Donald Trump was thwarting her crusade for “democracy.”

“I am honored to have earned the Democratic nomination,” she said, several months after the DNC ousted Biden from the ticket and ensconced her as his replacement candidate without a challenge.

Trump on the other hand, she said, would “terminate the Constitution of the United States.”

“Imagine the Constitution of the United States, which guarantees the Fourth Amendment against unreasonable search and seizure by a government on you, the Fifth Amendment, the Sixth Amendment,” she said. Americans might be wondering about how the First and Second Amendments, which guarantee free speech and gun rights, will fare another administration that is built on censorship and hostile toward firearms. Secret Service Blocked Independent Audit of Trump Security, Whistleblower Says

Senior leadership within the Secret Service blocked multiple auditors from the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General (OIG) from probing former President Donald Trump’s security detail, according to a new whistleblower report.

On Wednesday, Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., sent a letter to Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe outlining the new charges of misconduct within the agency.

“A Secret Service whistleblower has alleged to my office that Secret Service headquarters blocked several auditors from the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General (OIG) from accessing recent Trump campaign events,” Hawley wrote. “The whistleblower alleges that the Secret Service denied access to DHS auditors because the former president is not receiving the full level of protective assets for all of his events, and Secret Service leadership wants to obscure or simply conceal this fact.”

According to the whistleblower, Hawley added, “Secret Service leadership is permitting OIG auditors only at select events — such as a recent rally in North Carolina — where President Trump receives the full level of protective assets, to create the impression he is receiving this level of protection at all times, when in fact he is not.”

The latest whistleblower disclosure comes two weeks after Hawley sent another letter to Rowe charging the agency with denying Trump “sufficient assets” for a campaign rally in Wisconsin. The failure to provide the former president with full security forced Republicans to cancel the Badger State event.
