Pete Hegseth Just Obliterated Hillary Clinton

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth didn’t hold back when he responded to twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s recent remarks accusing him of “cowering to Vladimir Putin.” The former Fox News host fiercely defended his stance, calling out Clinton’s baseless attack and making it clear that his views on Russia are rooted in a pragmatic, America-first approach. Hegseth’s fiery rebuttal shot down Clinton’s claims, with him pointing to the need for a more strategic, measured approach to dealing with global threats.

On Sunday, Clinton took to social media to taunt Hegseth, sharing an article from Gizmodo titled, “Trump’s Defense Secretary Hegseth Orders Cyber Command to ‘Stand Down’ on All Russia Operations.” . . .

Attached to her X post, Clinton wrote, “Wouldn’t want to hurt Putin’s feelings.”

Trump’s Tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico Take Effect

President Donald Trump’s new tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico took effect at midnight Tuesday morning, increasing the taxes that U.S. importers will pay on certain goods when they enter the country.

Effective Tuesday, U.S. imports from China, the third-largest U.S. trading partner, will be subject to a new 10% tariff on top of the initial 10% tariff he imposed on Chinese goods last month.

Tariffs on imported goods from Canada and Mexico – America’s two largest bilateral trading partners, according to Census Bureau data – are also set to rise, with 25% tariffs levied on all imports from the two countries. The tariffs include a carve-out for a lower 10% tariff on Canadian oil imports.

President Trump was asked on Monday whether there was room left for any room left for Canada or Mexico to make a deal to avoid tariffs and he replied, “No room left for Mexico or for Canada. No, the tariffs, you know, they’re all set. They go into effect tomorrow.”

Shortly after taking office in January, Trump announced he would impose tariffs on the three countries and cited the flows of illegal fentanyl shipments across the Mexican and Canadian borders, as well as precursor chemicals for fentanyl shipped from China. He cited authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). (Read more from “Trump’s Tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico Take Effect” HERE)

Mike Pence Stokes Backlash for Calling Pope Francis ‘Holy Father,’ Posting Anti-Trump Op-Ed

Former Vice President Mike Pence drew criticism over the weekend for a Friday X post in which he referred to Pope Francis as “the Holy Father,” prompting some to accuse him of affirming Roman Catholicism despite being an outspoken Evangelical Protestant.

“One of my greatest honors as Vice President was the hour I spent with Pope Francis at the Vatican in January 2020,” Pence tweeted. “[Karen Pence] and I join Catholics around the world Praying for this humble and godly man. God Bless the Holy Father.” . .

Pence was raised Roman Catholic but later left the Catholic Church to become an Evangelical when he was in college, according to a profile in The New York Times. . .

“‘Holy Father’?? Remember when the evangelical establishment chided us all about not giving the seriousness of Pence’s Protestant faith due respect…,” tweeted author and Daily Wire reporter Megan Basham.

Pence’s papal tweet came the same day he drew backlash for tweeting an op-ed by the Editorial Board of the Wall Street Journal titled “Putin Wins the Trump-Zelensky Oval Office Spectacle.” (Read more from “Mike Pence Stokes Backlash for Calling Pope Francis ‘Holy Father,’ Posting Anti-Trump Op-Ed” HERE)

Joe Rogan Questions CNN’s Coverage on Trump Rally Assassination Attempt While Ignoring Nearly All Other Trump Rallies — Billionaire Bill Ackman Calls for Investigation

In a bombshell interview on The Joe Rogan Experience, Elon Musk and Joe Rogan tore into the suspicious circumstances surrounding the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt on President Donald Trump at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally—a rally that, curiously, was the only Trump event CNN bothered to stream live during the entire campaign.

Now, billionaire investor Bill Ackman is demanding answers, calling for an investigation into why the far-left network broke its pattern of ignoring Trump rallies just in time to broadcast an attempt on his life.

During the podcast, Rogan and Musk pointed out the troubling anomalies in the Butler rally incident.

Rogan highlighted the fact that the gunman, who had an unusually clean digital footprint, had been positioned in a location that the Secret Service had inexplicably left unsecured.

Adding to the intrigue, CNN chose to stream the Butler rally live, something it had not done for any other Trump campaign event.

Huge Study Says Transgender Surgery Doubles Depression Rates

Transgender surgery raises the rates of depression, suicidal impulses, anxiety, and drug addiction, a huge new study says.

Yet the study’s authors concluded that governments should just spend more on the “mental health” of patients to offset the damage of transgender therapies.

The study is another blow for transgender activists and friendly judges who insist that transgender medical treatments be funded by taxpayers because the treatments are supposedly life-saving forms of self-expression. That argument is fundamental in the activists’ fight against current efforts by the federal government and state governments to protect children and youths from transgender advocacy.

The study of 107,583 patients posted in the Journal of Sexual Medicine reported that depression doubled among men who underwent transgender surgery: “Males with surgery showed a higher prevalence of depression (25.4% vs. 11.5%, RR 2.203, P < 0.0001) and anxiety (12.8% vs. 2.6%, RR 4.882, P < 0.0001).” Women also suffered additional depression and anxiety, the study said: “Females exhibited similar trends, with elevated depression (22.9% vs. 14.6%, RR 1.563, P < 0.0001) and anxiety (10.5% vs. 7.1%, RR 1.478, P < 0.0001).” (Read more from "Huge Study Says Transgender Surgery Doubles Depression Rates" HERE)

Linda McMahon Confirmed As Education Secretary

The U.S. Senate voted to confirm Linda McMahon as the Secretary of Education on Monday evening, setting in motion the full force of the Trump administration’s plans to end diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and radical gender ideology in schools, as well as empower states and localities to make their own education decisions.

McMahon, who previously led the Small Business Administration during Trump’s first term, was confirmed 51-45. The vote followed testimony where McMahon signposted goals of the Trump administration to significantly reduce the bureaucratic control of education from a federal level and rework federal education dollars into a system that allows states and localities to make decisions. The Trump administration has made clear that the goal is not to reduce federal education dollars, but to administer them through mechanisms like block grants, which give distribution authority to states.

“[President Trump] pledged to make American education the best in the world, return education to the states where it belongs, and free American students from the education bureaucracy through school choice,” she said at her confirmation hearing last month. “Education is the issue that determines our national success and prepares American workers to win the future.”

She indicated that the “remedy” to “excessive consolidation of power” in the federal education system involves “fund[ing] education freedom, not government-run systems,” “listen[ing] to parents, not politicians,” “build[ing] up careers, not college debt,” “empower[ing] states, not special interests,” and “invest[ing] in teachers, not Washington bureaucrats.”

The Department of Education under the Trump administration has already been fast at work issuing major reforms, cutting wasteful spending, and eliminating the proliferation of harmful ideologies like DEI, critical race theory, and radical gender theory. Ukrainian MP Calls for Crucial Impeachment Proceedings Against Zelensky

A member of the Ukrainian Parliament has called for impeachment proceedings against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, asserting that such actions are crucial for the future of the nation’s leadership. The call comes amid growing criticism of Zelenskyy’s public humiliation of Ukraine following his disastrous meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House last week. With his increasingly authoritarian approach to governance and downright refusal to accept a peace and rare Earth minerals deal with the U.S., Zelenskyy’s foreign policy missteps have led to Ukraine’s isolation on the global stage.

Alexander Dubinsky, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, is calling for an emergency session to initiate impeachment proceedings against Zelenskyy. He accused the Ukrainian president of diplomatic failures, the country’s loss of unconditional U.S. support, and the regime’s complete collapse.

“Zelensky has not only failed in foreign policy – he has driven the country into a state where anyone who disagrees with his course faces repression,” he said in a statement.

Dubinsky criticized Zelenskyy’s stubbornness for the country’s reaching a dead end, noting that Ukraine has no more cards to play.

“Zelenskyy has lost,” Dubinsky said, echoing Trump’s previous remarks. “If he cannot offer a real way out of the crisis, then it is up to us to make fateful decisions.” (Read more from “Ukrainian MP Calls for Crucial Impeachment Proceedings Against Zelensky” HERE)

Indian Gender Clinics Shut Down After Losing Funds That Biden Passed Off As AIDS Relief

President Donald Trump’s freeze on foreign aid has led to three transgender clinics shutting down in India as liberal causes around the world lose taxpayer funding.

Mitr Clinic, the country’s first health institution “exclusively for the transgender community,” closed three facilities on Jan. 24 after Trump cut most of its budget, Indian news outlets reported Sunday and Monday. The clinics almost fully relied on American taxpayer funds from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), an entity the left has defended as Trump’s administration moves to dismantle it.

Former President Joe Biden’s State Department celebrated Mitr Clinic’s opening in 2021 along with the premiere of a documentary “Mitr Clinic – Pride and Beyond.” Biden’s USAID used a federal AIDS relief program to help open the clinic in partnership with Johns Hopkins University.

“As the White House report released on November 20 [2021] to memorialize the Transgender Day of Remembrance noted, the U.S. government is taking essential steps to address the root causes of anti-transgender violence, discrimination, and denial of economic opportunity,” a U.S. diplomat said in the State Department’s news release. “These clinics, which provide community-led comprehensive health care services to the transgender community, are a big step toward building a more inclusive society for the LGBTQI+ persons.” (Read more from “Indian Gender Clinics Shut Down After Losing Funds That Biden Passed Off As AIDS Relief” HERE)

Admits She Was Openly Advising Illegals On How To Avoid Law Enforcement

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said during a recent interview that illegal aliens were among her constituents.

The socialist lawmaker made the remarks in an interview late last week on NPR’s “Morning Edition” when asked about Border Czar Tom Homan’s recent remarks about her advising illegal aliens on how to avoid federal immigration authorities.

“I was informing all of my constituents of their constitutional protections and, in particular, their constitutional protections against illegal search and seizure in the United States,” she claimed.

NPR noted that Homan was upset over AOC’s remarks because she was giving advice to illegal aliens on how to continue violating America’s laws.

When asked point blank if that is what she was doing, AOC responded: “I was giving advice to all of my constituents, yeah.” (Read more from “Admits She Was Openly Advising Illegals On How To Avoid Law Enforcement” HERE)

Trump Ready to Go ‘Big’ in Speech to Congress, Outline His Vision for America

President Trump will double down on his “America First” agenda Tuesday night when he commands the stage for a joint session of Congress and makes the case for smaller government, more tariffs and stricter immigration.

He promised the speech would lay it out for the American people.

“Tomorrow night will be big. I will tell it like it is,” Mr. Trump said Monday on social media.

The president will outline the blueprint that got him elected in November and tie it to the flurry of action he has taken during his first six weeks in office. He is expected to argue that those actions are key to implementing the drastic changes voters sent him to the White House to enact.

Mr. Trump’s initiatives to restructure the federal government will be front and center when he takes the podium in the House chamber. Those initiatives include the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency, layoffs of tens of thousands of federal workers and plans to shutter multiple agencies. Mr. Trump’s actions have sparked cheers from his base and a flurry of lawsuits from labor unions representing federal workers.
