Report: Democrat Staffer Arrested for Carrying Gun on Capitol Grounds as Senator Began All Night Speech

If Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) hopes his all-night theatrics on Monday will be remembered, thanks to one of his staff members, they will be.

Booker’s staff member, Kevin A. Batts, was arrested Monday evening for carrying a pistol on Capitol grounds moments before Booker began an all-night speech on the Senate floor protesting President Donald Trump’s America First agenda, NOTUS reported.

A NOTUS reporter witnessed the staffer, Kevin A. Batts, being arrested Monday at 6:29 p.m. Eastern as Booker prepared to begin his speech around 7:00. “He was handcuffed and placed in the backseat of a [U.S. Capitol Police (USCP)] vehicle outside the Senate-side of the Capitol,” according to that report.

USCP confirmed the arrest Tuesday while Booker spoke on the Senate floor.

“Yesterday afternoon a Member of Congress led an IDed staff member around security screening at the Hart Senate Office Building,” USCP said in a statement. “Later that evening, outside the Senate Galleries, the IDed staff member — who is a retired law enforcement officer — told our officers he was armed.” (Read more from “Report: Democrat Staffer Arrested for Carrying Gun on Capitol Grounds as Senator Began All Night Speech” HERE)

Report: Paralyzed Army Vet Killed Himself After Wife Had Affair with Pastor

A paralyzed Army veteran allegedly killed himself after learning that his wife had been having an affair with a controversial pastor in South Carolina.

Chris Skinner, 41, allegedly drowned in a neighborhood pool near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in September of 2021, and though police ruled out a suicide at the time, a new probe has been launched. His sister, Tamra McDermott, told the Daily Mail that new evidence may have surfaced indicating it was not an accident, adding that he likely took his own life after discovering his wife, Suzie, was in an affair with a pastor.

“It would be fair to say that the coroner has reopened the case because there’s been evidence [that’s] come forward that it could potentially not be an accident,” McDermott said.

The coroner wrote at the time that Skinner may have slipped into the pool after coming too close, but the police report said that he stopped at a curve before suddenly moving forward into the water, making it a suicide. New witness testimony also appears to contradict evidence given by Skinner’s wife at the time.

“When looking at the police reports and coroner reports, it is clear there was some inconsistency. Also, it was acknowledged that some of what was said at [the] scene may be inaccurate,” said McDermott. Trump Pardons Navy Veteran Convicted in Capitol Riot

President Donald Trump has pardoned a Virginia man whose sentence already was commuted for his convictions stemming from the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Thomas Caldwell, a retired Navy intelligence officer, was tried alongside Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes but acquitted of seditious conspiracy — the most serious charge brought in the Jan. 6 attack.

Caldwell’s pardon is dated March 20. Defense attorney David Fischer said he informed Caldwell of the pardon on Monday after learning about it from news reports.

“And he’s elated,” Fischer added.

A jury convicted Caldwell of obstructing Congress and of obstructing justice for tampering with documents after the riot. One of those convictions was dismissed in light of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling last year. (Read more from “Trump Pardons Navy Veteran Convicted in Capitol Riot” HERE)

Conspiracy Confirmed: DOGE’s Investigation Into Social Security Proves Illegals Have Been Voting

. . .Thanks to DOGE’s latest investigation into Social Security, we now know that millions of illegals weren’t just raking in max benefits—they were also voting in US elections. Yet again, another so-called conspiracy theory turns out to be completely true, and the American people are the biggest losers.

Antonio Gracias, founder and CEO of a $16 billion growth equity firm, has been working alongside Elon Musk and DOGE to dig into Social Security—and what he uncovered is absolutely devastating. Every hard-working American, especially our elderly living on fixed incomes and barely scraping by, should be outraged. As it turns out, the system isn’t just broken—it’s far more rotten than we ever imagined. . .

Elon Musk, Antonio, and the entire DOGE team have uncovered what looks like a full-blown operation to flood the system: millions of illegals handed Social Security numbers, maxed out on benefits, enrolled in Medicaid, and yes—registered to vote. And even worse is that some of them actually did vote. They found the records. It’s real. It’s happening. And the numbers don’t lie.

Watch this breakdown. See the chart. Hear the admissions. This isn’t a glitch—it’s the system doing exactly what it was rigged to do:

GOP Lawmaker Leaves Top Commanders Shocked After Asking Why Military Isn’t ‘Just Killing’ Narcoterrorists

A Republican lawmaker left two top military commanders stunned Tuesday when he asked why the US is not “just killing” Chinese drug traffickers bringing fentanyl precursors into the Western Hemisphere.

“In your professional military opinion — put aside everything, policy — as an admiral, if we just started killing these people that are killing Americans (through drug overdoses) — 250,000, 300,000 Americans; about the amount of people that died in World War II — why aren’t we just killing these people?” Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.) asked Navy Adm. Alvin Holsey, who leads US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), during the House Armed Services Committee hearing.

Holsey, who oversees military operations in and around South America, initially responded by asking what Van Orden meant by “these people.”

“Are you talking about the ships coming across?” Holsey asked.

“I’m talking about these narcoterrorists,” Van Orden replied. “Why aren’t we just killing the people that are killing American citizens? It makes absolutely no sense to me.”

Holsey explained that the military does not have the authority to kill the drug smugglers, and further explained that fentanyl ingredients coming to China for processing in Mexico for eventual smuggling into the United States are being shipped through legal means. YETI Refuses To Customize Cups With The Word ‘Conservative’

YETI, the pricy cooler and cup company, is apparently not for everyone. While the company partners with organizations promoting left-leaning politics, it does not want its brand associated with conservative customers.

YETI just turned down a small bulk order of mugs from the Virginia-based Clare Boothe Luce Center for Conservative Women. The group went through its first batch from last year, so it reordered 48 customized mugs printed with its name and logo. YETI agreed to replenish the group’s supply for about $1,600.

But soon the Clare Boothe Luce Center for Conservative Women received a note from YETI canceling the order.

“YETI is unable to customize products with text or logos that are licensed, copyrighted, profane, or political in nature,” the note said.

Over the phone, a YETI representative said multiple times the word “conservative” was the problem, Clare Boothe Luce Center for Conservative Women President Kimberly Begg told The Federalist. Why did YETI complete the order last year? (Read more from “YETI Refuses To Customize Cups With The Word ‘Conservative’” HERE)

EPA Shuttering Museum That Cost $315 per Visitor to Stay Open — With Barely Anyone Showing Up

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin is canceling a year-old museum dedicated to the EPA’s history — citing its $315-per-visitor cost to operate.

The museum is located on the ground floor of the environmental agency, but recorded very little foot traffic, despite its prime location just a block north of the Smithsonian’s Natural History and American History museums on the National Mall.

“The scarcely visited museum cost a whopping $4 million taxpayer dollars to build in accordance with Smithsonian standards and more than $600,000 annually to operate,” an EPA official said.

“It had less than 2,000 external visitors between May 2024-February 2025 and while the museum was free, the cost to taxpayers per external visitor amounted to nearly $315 per person.”

The museum logged just 1,909 external visitors during the 10-month period. Counting EPA staff visits lowers the per-person operating cost slightly to $190.37. (Read more from “EPA Shuttering Museum That Cost $315 per Visitor to Stay Open — With Barely Anyone Showing Up” HERE)
