Trump, a frequent critic of Kimmel and the entire late-night host lineup, first took to Truth Social late Wednesday, Sept. 18, to deride Kimmel’s ratings and throw some shots at Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon.

“Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done,” Trump wrote. “Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!! President DJT”

Then during a Sept. 18 press conference, Trump said that the comedian should have been fired “a long time ago” for a “lack of talent” and pushed back at concerns about the state of free speech in the United States. Kimmel has not been officially fired, though it remains unclear if, and when, his show will return to the air. . .

The network’s decision to pull “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” has set off widespread controversy, with many of Kimmel’s famous friends calling it censorship, while others argue the move was justified.

Kimmel’s show was pulled over his comments about alleged Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson.

Poor Oral Hygiene Linked to Tripled Risk of Pancreatic Cancer, New Study Finds

That unbrushed mouth may be doing more than turning people away — it could be quietly raising your risk of one of the deadliest forms of cancer.

A major new study from NYU Langone Health and its Perlmutter Cancer Center has identified more than two dozen microbes in the mouth that may significantly increase the risk of pancreatic cancer, a disease notorious for its low survival rate and late detection. The findings, published in JAMA Oncology, suggest that oral hygiene may play a far more critical role in cancer prevention than previously thought.

The research tracked 122,000 individuals over nine years, analyzing their saliva for bacterial and fungal DNA. Comparing data from 445 pancreatic cancer patients with 445 matched cancer-free individuals, researchers discovered 24 species of bacteria and fungi that appeared to alter pancreatic cancer risk — either increasing or decreasing it. Of those, 27 microbes in total were linked to a more than threefold increase in risk.

“It is clearer than ever that brushing and flossing your teeth may not only help prevent periodontal disease but may also protect against cancer,” said co-senior author Dr. Richard Hayes, professor in the Department of Population Health at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

The study proposes a mechanism as unsettling as it is fascinating: harmful oral microbes may travel from the mouth to the pancreas via swallowed saliva. Once there, they may contribute to inflammation or immune dysregulation, potentially creating a microenvironment favorable to cancer growth.

“Our findings provide new insight into the relationship between the oral microbiome and pancreatic cancer,” said lead author Yixuan Meng, a postdoctoral fellow at NYU. “These microbes could be influencing tumor development through systemic inflammation or by altering immune responses in the pancreas.”

Some of the bacteria flagged in the study are already known culprits in gum disease — a chronic infection that damages the soft tissue and bone supporting the teeth. Gum disease itself has been previously linked to systemic inflammation and an increased risk of several illnesses, including cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

This new research adds pancreatic cancer to that growing list. The inflammatory markers released by the bacteria involved in periodontal disease may contribute to a “pro-tumor environment,” the study suggests.

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich described the Gaza Strip as a “real estate bonanza” during a conference this week, framing post-war reconstruction in the enclave as a financial opportunity and revealing that discussions are underway with U.S. officials about dividing the territory after the war.

Smotrich made the remarks Wednesday at a real estate conference in Tel Aviv, where he claimed that the war has created an economic opening for Israeli redevelopment in Gaza. “We have paid a lot of money for this war. We have to see how we are dividing up the land in percentages,” he said. “The demolition, the first stage in the city’s renewal, we have already done. Now we need to build.”

The far-right minister, who leads the Religious Zionism party, also told the audience that “a business plan, put together by the most professional people here,” is already “on President Trump’s desk.” He did not clarify whether the plan had official backing from the Israeli government or the U.S. administration. The White House and U.S. State Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The comments come at a highly sensitive moment in the ongoing war, as the United Nations this week formally determined that Israel’s military actions in Gaza constitute a genocide, citing systematic targeting of civilian infrastructure, mass displacement, and an apparent intent to destroy Palestinian life in the territory. The UN’s designation adds significant legal and diplomatic pressure on Israel, which continues to reject such accusations.

Smotrich’s remarks appear to directly contradict repeated statements by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has said publicly that he does not plan to reestablish Israeli settlements in Gaza. However, some members of Netanyahu’s coalition — including Smotrich — have continued to promote the idea of turning the Strip into a permanent extension of Israeli territory.

In July, Smotrich participated in a Knesset event titled “The Gaza Riviera – From Vision to Reality,” where he expressed support for reestablishing Jewish settlements in the Strip. “Gaza will become an inseparable part of the State of Israel,” he said at the time.

Smotrich has also pushed to revive former settlements in the northern West Bank that were evacuated in 2005 during Israel’s disengagement from Gaza. In an interview last month with his party’s newsletter, he confirmed efforts to rebuild the settlements of Ganim and Kadim.

Palestinians and the broader international community — including the United Nations, the European Union, and Arab states — have insisted that any post-war administration in Gaza must be Palestinian-led and free from Israeli or U.S. occupation. The idea of turning Gaza into Israeli territory has been widely condemned as a violation of international law and an obstacle to any future two-state solution.

Human rights organizations have warned that openly discussing redevelopment or settlement plans while the war is ongoing — and while civilian casualties continue to mount — signals intent consistent with the allegations laid out in the UN genocide finding.

The war in Gaza, which began after the October 2023 Hamas-led attacks that killed 1,200 Israelis, has resulted in widespread destruction across the enclave. According to health officials in Gaza, more than 35,000 Palestinians — the majority of them women and children — have been killed in Israeli airstrikes and ground operations, with thousands more missing or injured. Infrastructure across the Strip, including hospitals, schools, and refugee camps, has been decimated.

Robinson’s online footprint shows he downloaded a Steam title called “Furry Shades of Gay” — a dating simulator advertised as a mix of “hot gay sex and slapstick humor” featuring cartoon animals — and kept tabs on furry artists who admitted producing “cub” material, the subculture’s euphemism for child-coded porn, according to the Mail.

“Furry Shades of Gay is a game about love, queer relationships, hot gay sex and slapstick humor,” the Steam listing states. “Win match-3 challenges, and get ready for 24 hot animated VOICED sex scenes!”

The Mail linked Robinson to a Steam account that played the title enough to earn an “uncommon sticker” — an in-game collectable awarded only to diehard players — under the name “craftin247.” The same moniker appears across multiple platforms, including on FurAffinity, where the account’s “recently watched” list included “RedRusker,” an artist who admitted to drawing “about a dozen or so” underage-themed pieces in a 2023 post.

Charlie Kirk assassination suspect Tyler Robinson sought ‘gentle’ surrender, feared being shot

By Fox News. More details have emerged about how alleged Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson was turned over to police while the manhunt for a suspect ensued.

Washington County Sheriff Nate Brooksby said at a news conference Wednesday he received a call from a former law enforcement friend telling him Robinson, 22, was the shooter. Robinson reportedly had suicidal thoughts but was convinced by his parents not to harm himself.

Brooksby said Robinson knew he would be caught and was afraid of a SWAT raid on his home. He was also afraid of being shot by the police, the sheriff said.

“Tyler knew it was just inevitable with all the law enforcement pressure that he, his picture in the news, the gun, the gun on the news,” he said. “He knew it was inevitable that he would be caught.”

Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson has strongly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for what he described as a “ghoulish” and self-serving reaction to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. In a recent episode of The Tucker Carlson Show, the former Fox News host condemned the exploitation of Kirk’s death for political gain — particularly by foreign leaders.

Carlson, who was close to Kirk, said he was “shocked and sickened” by Netanyahu’s public statement following the young conservative activist’s assassination. According to Carlson, the prime minister attempted to reframe Kirk’s death in support of Israel’s ongoing military operations — a move Carlson called “disgusting.”

“Basically [Netanyahu] made it all about him and all about his country,” Carlson said. “Immediately trying to take the energy, the sadness, the grief that people felt over Charlie’s murder and redirect it towards support for whatever project he’s involved in.”

According to Carlson, Kirk was particularly frustrated by what he saw as Netanyahu’s willingness to use American political and financial support to further Israel’s military objectives — at the expense of U.S. interests.

“He believed Netanyahu was using the United States to prosecute his wars… and that it was shameful, embarrassing, and bad for the United States,” Carlson said. “He resented it.”

Carlson acknowledged that some Netanyahu allies and defenders would likely attack him for speaking out, but he insisted that Kirk’s views on the matter were well known and could be corroborated.

“There are enough text messages that I think it can probably be verified in pretty short order — not that it needs to be, because that is true.”

Carlson also revealed that Kirk had come under heavy pressure from donors and political insiders for inviting Carlson to speak at a recent Turning Point USA conference. According to Carlson, Kirk lost a $2 million donation just two days before his death due to that decision.

“Donors tormented Charlie Kirk until the day he died,” Carlson said. “I hated seeing how much he was suffering, the hassle he was getting from people.”

He described the pushback as intense and driven in large part by individuals aligned with Netanyahu, who viewed Carlson’s criticisms of Israeli policy as a threat to their influence.

Carlson’s remarks sparked immediate discussion across the conservative political landscape. Former Republican congressman Matt Gaetz came to Carlson’s defense, writing, “I have personal knowledge as to many of the claims Tucker is making here. They are 100 percent true.”

For Carlson, the issue is not merely political — it’s personal. His remarks were rooted in what he described as a genuine concern for preserving the truth about who Charlie Kirk was and what he believed.

“There are many liars out there — Bibi Netanyahu number one among them, shamefully — who are trying to distort the truth,” Carlson concluded. “A truth that I know and can prove.”

WATCH: Rep. Thomas Massie Confronts FBI Director Kash Patel Over Epstein Trafficking Claim

In a fiery exchange on Capitol Hill Wednesday, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) directly challenged FBI Director Kash Patel over his recent claim that no “credible information” exists tying Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operation to any individuals beyond Epstein himself.

Massie, a vocal proponent of government transparency and a longstanding advocate for the release of the Epstein files, pressed Patel over his testimony before the Senate earlier this week — and used the opportunity to read out a partial list of prominent figures who, according to victims, were allegedly involved in Epstein’s trafficking network.

“Director Patel, I watched some of your Senate hearing yesterday,” Massie began. “You said there’s no credible information that Epstein trafficked these women to anyone else. But that doesn’t match the evidence the FBI already has.”

Massie then cited FBI Form 302s — official records of witness interviews — which, he said, contain testimony from victims naming at least 20 men, including Jes Staley, the former CEO of Barclays Bank. Other unnamed individuals, according to Massie, include a Hollywood producer worth hundreds of millions, a royal prince, a government official, several billionaires, and even a magician.

“We know these people exist in the FBI files, the files that you control,” Massie said. “I don’t know exactly who they are, but the FBI does.”

He then asked Patel directly: “Have you launched any investigations into any of these people, and have you seen these 302 documents?”

Patel responded that while he had tasked FBI agents with reviewing all Epstein-related material, no new indictments had been brought forward, and no new credible evidence had been presented to him personally.

“We’re working with Congress to divulge that information and produce it to you,” Patel said. “But there have been no new materials brought to me.”

Massie didn’t hold back.

“So is the loophole here that you’re saying these victims aren’t credible? That the 302s maybe didn’t produce credible statements that rise to probable cause?” he pressed.

Patel denied making that assertion, attributing the lack of prosecution to the judgment of two separate U.S. Attorneys’ Offices under three different presidential administrations — none of which pursued further charges based on the documents.

The congressman, however, refused to let the matter drop.

“Are the 302 documents in the FBI’s possession?” Massie asked.

“They reviewed all that, yes, sir,” Patel replied.

“And have you reviewed them — the ones where the victims name the people who victimized them?”

“If I personally—no. But the FBI has,” Patel admitted.

That prompted a pointed response from Massie:

“So how can you sit here and in front of the Senate and say there are no names? I named one today.”

Patel responded that the FBI doesn’t typically release names of either victims or individuals tied to unproven allegations, especially when the agency has determined that the information does not meet a threshold of credibility or probable cause.

“We are not in the habit of releasing incredible information,” Patel said. “Multiple authorities have looked at the entirety of what we have.”

But Massie wasn’t satisfied.

He underscored that the limitations of prior investigations — particularly the controversial 2007 non-prosecution agreement signed in Florida — did not apply to the 2019 Epstein indictment in the Southern District of New York, which, he noted, generated a fresh wave of interviews and supporting documentation.

That distinction, he argued, invalidates Patel’s claim that earlier constraints hampered the FBI’s ability to follow through on victim allegations.

As outrage continues to build across the political spectrum over the lack of public accountability in the Epstein case, Massie’s interrogation marks one of the most direct public challenges to the FBI’s current handling of the matter — and raises fresh questions about why the names of alleged accomplices remain sealed, even years after Epstein’s death.

“We owe the American people the truth,” Massie said. “And I intend to keep asking.”

Federal Reserve Cuts Interest Rates a Quarter Point as US Job Market Wobbles

The Federal Reserve cut interest rates by a quarter point as central bankers said worries about a wobbly US job market have begun to outweigh anxieties over inflation.

Eleven of the Fed’s 12 central bankers voted for the regular-size cut including Fed Chairman Jerome Powell, who has spent most of the year deflecting attacks from President Trump over his refusal to lower rates.

The exception was Stephen Miran, who instead voted for a jumbo-size, half-point cut — one day after he left his position as Trump’s economic adviser to become a Fed governor.

Central bankers have been delaying rate cuts over fears that tariffs could reheat inflation, which has shown signs of picking up over the summer. Consumer spending has likewise been resilient despite Trump’s tariffs.

Fed Chairman Jerome Powell called Wednesday’s decision a “risk-management cut” as policymakers confront a “very different picture of the risks to the labor market” following major downward revisions to job growth earlier this month. Malik is trying to remain neutral, though he can’t understand why his members would leak the near fisticuffs to the press.

American commentator and author Candance Owens has made startling claims against billionaire hedge fund manager and Trump ally Bill Ackman and The Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon. Owens alleged a “high-stakes intervention” involving the two and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk took place just weeks before his tragic assassination.

The six-minute clip has already garnered more than 1.2 million views and sparked intense debate across platforms. Known for her [anti-Israel] stances, Candance Owens alleged that there was a “tense” meeting in the Hamptons where Ackman allegedly pressured Kirk over his views on Israel.

Owens alleged in a video and social media posts that Ackman, Kirk, and Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon participated in an “intense intervention” where “threats were made” to influence Kirk’s stance on Israel.

She also claimed that Kirk had been offered “a ton of money” and had been contacted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Kirk reportedly declined the invitation. “I know that Charlie was offered a significant amount of money during that time… a ton of money,” Owens stated.

She also mentioned reaching out to Dillon for comment on the story, but he did not respond. She displayed a screenshot of a post where Ackman praises Kirk as a “giant of a man” after their meeting, contrasting it with her claims of coercion.
