Here Are 5 Insane Books Elementary Schools Are Offering Kids

Many public elementary schools across the U.S. offer books containing material steeped in gender ideology and left-wing racial ideology.

In 2025, the Supreme Court ruled that Maryland parents have a right to opt their elementary-aged-students out of LGBTQ+ storybook lessons in school on the basis of religious freedom. However, since then, many taxpayer-funded primary schools throughout the country have continued to make books with heavily scrutinized sexual and political themes available to children.

Here are five books elementary schools in the U.S. are offering students.

“Sex Is a Funny Word” — Boulder Valley School District, 5th grade supplemental health education learning material

A children’s comic book that goes beyond the classic “sex talk” for kids, “Sex Is a Funny Word” features the transgender, “lesbian, gay, and bisexual experience as well as gender creative and gender-nonconforming children,” according to the book’s website. The children’s sex education book covers, among other topics, “crushes, love, and sexy feelings,” and “birthsex, gender identity, and gender roles.”

An educational book for 8-10 year olds about bodies, gender, and sexuality, the book includes “children and families of all makeups, orientations, and gender identities,” according to the website. It also includes drawings of male and female genitalia. (Read more from “Here Are 5 Insane Books Elementary Schools Are Offering Kids” HERE)

LOL: LA Reporter Faces Backlash Over ‘Insensitive’ Bosnia Comments During Viral World Cup Report

An award-winning California news reporter faced backlash for her “insensitive” comments towards Bosnia-Herzegovina during her World Cup coverage, forcing her to apologize for taking the joke “too far.”

ABC7 Los Angeles’ Abigail Velez was covering the US national team’s match at a viewing party on the streets of Long Beach, Calif., Thursday, when she updated viewers on America’s next opponent after the 3-2 loss to Turkey.

“The next round, Team USA will play Bosnia next Wednesday and one thing about Bosnia, I could not point out where it is on a map,” Velez quipped. “I don’t know the first thing about Bosnia and I don’t want to know because Team USA, we’re back, we’re better than ever.”

Velez, who has been with the station since November 2025, doubled down and told the southeastern European nation to get ready for battle against the US.

“That’s next Wednesday. Get prepared, Bosnia, because you don’t want it, you don’t want it like that, but you’re gonna get it. That’s next Wednesday,” she said before tossing the report back to the station.

Most Russian Recruits Have Life Expectancy of just 20 Minutes on Ukraine Front Lines, Chilling Report Claims

New Russian recruits have a life expectancy of just 20 to 35 minutes in combat in Ukraine — showing how quickly Vladimir Putin’s troops are falling victim to drone warfare, according to chilling reports from Moscow.

Once a soldier is signed up to fight, he can expect to live for just 10 days to three weeks — from arrival at the training ground to death in combat, according to historian Peter Frankopan in an op-ed for Foreign Policy, citing Russian military bloggers.

As the bloody conflict in Ukraine approaches the four and a half year mark, Russian military brass are desperately seeking new soldiers for Putin’s meat grinder.

In late 2025, Russian officials claimed they had recruited more than 420,000 new soldiers for year-long military contracts, but even state media admits those numbers are down some 30% this year.

According to military bloggers, Russia still recruits roughly 800 to 1,000 new voluntary contract soldiers per day, with many of them rushed through just a handful of days of combat training. Iran Must Develop Nuclear Bomb to Protect ‘Peace and Calm,’ IRGC Media Says — Despite Pledge to Trump

Iran has “no choice” but to develop a nuclear bomb, a media outlet linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said — the latest threat to the peace deal.

The article, titled “No choice but to build the atomic bomb,” claims that Iran must negotiate with its enemies from a position of strength, and was published by Iranian state news outlet Fars on Sunday.

“To achieve the peace and calm that Iran needs, it must absolutely reach nuclear deterrence to ensure that the rest of the issues can be resolved through negotiation,” thunders the piece, before comparing Iran’s situation with the US to that of China in the 1970s.

“America threatened China with nuclear attack twice — similar to Trump’s recent nuclear threats against Iran — but when did Kissinger secretly meet with the Chinese and then negotiate? It was when China built the atomic bomb,” the article continues.

“Nuclear deterrence means that you can reach a balance of power against America and Israel, who possess atomic bombs — not so that war does not happen, but so that the scope of conflict remains controllable,” it goes on. Iran’s Strikes Did More Than $400 Million In Damage To The U.S. Fifth Fleet’s Headquarters — Damage The Pentagon Hadn’t Acknowledged

According to a bombshell report by the Wall Street Journal, Iranian missiles and drones targeting the nerve center of America’s naval operations in the Middle East did extensive damage.

The U.S. Navy’s sprawling base in Bahrain, and the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet, is located only 150 miles south of the coast of Iran, and it was targeted numerous times between late February and June.

Strikes that got through caused extensive damage; the Journal’s analysis of satellite imagery and social media footage includes damage the Pentagon hasn’t publicly acknowledged.

The base’s command headquarters and at least a dozen other buildings, along with two satellite communications terminals, were heavily damaged. The Journal estimated that over $400 million in damage was caused to the base in Bahrain.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) estimated in a report published earlier this week that the total cost of the war was about $40 billion. That estimate included their calculation of $2.2 billion to $5.1 billion in damage to U.S. bases, based on structures that CSIS identified as damaged. ‘A Direct Assault on Christianity’: Steve Deace Sounds Alarm Over Spielberg’s New UFO Film

Conservative radio host Steve Deace is raising concerns about legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s new movie, Disclosure Day, arguing that the highly anticipated film presents a troubling message about faith and Christianity.

Speaking with CBN News, Deace described the movie as more than just a science-fiction story about aliens and government secrets. In his view, the film directly challenges core Christian beliefs and portrays faith as powerless in the face of a greater force.

“This is a direct assault on Christianity,” Deace said while discussing scenes from the movie.

According to Deace, one of the film’s central characters is a former nun who abandoned her faith. He noted that early in the story, she declares that she has “lost” her belief in God’s divinity. As the plot unfolds, the character appears to become overtaken by an alien technology or force that resembles demonic possession.

Deace pointed to a particularly dramatic scene in which the woman clutches a crucifix and prays fervently while struggling against the influence controlling her. He said the crucifix ultimately proves ineffective, with the alien force overpowering her despite her prayers. John Stockwell, Ex-CIA Officer and Tell-All Author, Found Dead

John Stockwell, the 88-year-old former CIA officer known for writing a tell-all book about the agency, was found dead in Austin following an extensive search, according to the Travis County sheriff’s office.

Stockwell was the subject of a Silver Alert earlier this month after he disappeared from his East Austin neighborhood.

The office issued the alert for Stockwell at about 1:30 a.m. June 13 after he was reported missing. He was last seen walking near the 3000 block of Wickham Lane on June 12, authorities said.

The alert was discontinued June 14 after search crews found him dead in a wooded area near his neighborhood, spokesperson Kristen Dark said.

Dark said the search involved Travis County sheriff’s deputies, sheriff’s office K-9 units, Texas Search and Rescue K-9 teams and boats, Texas game wardens in boats, sheriff’s office drones and aerial assistance from Austin police Air 1 unit and Star Flight. Iran, Egypt Outraged over ‘Pride Match’ Designation for World Cup Faceoff — urge FIFA to Scrap LGBTQ+ Affiliations

The Iranian and Egyptian soccer federations have urged FIFA to strip any “Pride Match” displays and rainbow symbols from Friday’s World Cup match in Seattle.

The contest, slated for June 26 at Lumen Field, is scheduled during the city’s Pride weekend and has been referred to as the “Pride Match.”

While FIFA confirmed to the New York Times that rainbow flags remain permitted at all World Cup matches this summer, its president, Gianni Infantino, has previously distanced the governing body from the event’s promotional themes. . .

The Iranian federation warned that it “takes this matter seriously and has clearly communicated its position” to FIFA.

“We believe FIFA should take into account the views and concerns of the participating teams when considering matters related to the match environment and stadium presentation,” the Iranians said in a statement. Mystery Surrounds Death of MMA Fighter, Mother of Two Found Inside Car

A mystery continues to swirl around the deaths of a mixed martial arts fighter and a mother of two who were found unresponsive inside a parked car at a San Jose State University parking garage, as authorities continue to keep their causes of death under wraps.

The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office on Thursday identified the victims as Angelo Henry, 36, and Deziree Auelua-Misa, 30, weeks after the pair was discovered inside a vehicle in the university’s West Garage at the corner of South Fourth and East San Salvador streets.

The grim discovery unfolded on the afternoon of May 23 after concerns mounted when the pair remained motionless inside the parked car for hours.

According to university police Capt. Jermaine Thomas, the vehicle had been spotted earlier in the day, but officers initially believed the occupants were sleeping.

Authorities were only alerted after neither person appeared to move for several hours.

San Jose State University officers attempted life-saving measures, but Henry and Auelua-Misa were pronounced dead at the scene. (Read more from “Mystery Surrounds Death of MMA Fighter, Mother of Two Found Inside Car” HERE)

GRAPHIC: Migrant Drenched In Blood After Bashing Neighbor’s Head In With Hammer

A North African migrant was arrested in Spain after allegedly attacking his Senegalese neighbor in the head with a hammer Thursday.

The man, an Algerian national, allegedly escalated a verbal dispute with two Senegalese men to a full-blown assault at approximately 6 p.m. local time in Torre Pacheco, La Verdad reported in Spanish. The attacker also reportedly attacked another Senegalese man by striking him in the neck with a broken bottle.

Eyewitnesses alerted informed authorities after recording the scene, according to La Gaceta. Videos showed a man drenched in blood as the victim lay motionless on the sidewalk. The suspect was later arrested by the local police and the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The incident comes less than two weeks after Spain received almost 900,000 applications from undocumented migrants looking for a path to legal citizenship.

“Every day the horror in our streets grows more indescribable,” Santiago Abascal, leader of the Spanish nationalist party Vox, said in a recent post on X. “Nothing forces us to keep coexisting with this barbarity, except the betrayal of a heartless political class determined to turn Spain into a country of predators and prey.” (Read more from “GRAPHIC: Migrant Drenched In Blood After Bashing Neighbor’s Head In With Hammer” HERE)
