Foreign Government Slaps Special Forces Legend With Injunction During Podcast

Former Special Air Service operator Christian Craighead was hit with an injunction by the British government during an interview on the “Shawn Ryan Show” released Wednesday.

Craighead, who was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross for his actions in a 2019 terrorist attack on a hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, wrote a book about his experience with the elite special-operations unit, the Daily Mail reported. During an interview with podcaster Shawn Ryan, Craighead revealed just how expensive the legal battle over his book, “One Man In,” had become as Ryan mentioned Craighead received an email regarding an injunction.

During the interview, Ryan noted that the British government was seeking to serve Craighead with an injunction in the United States. Ryan recommended that Craighead talk with attorney Tim Parliatore, who previously represented Ryan and whose past clients included President Donald Trump.

“There is nobody better for this shit and that dude will fuck these people up,” Ryan told Craighead, recounting past legal clashes, including one with Republican Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw.

“They just don’t want me to tell the story. It’s a story that most of the world saw. It was on all the newspapers,” Craighead told Ryan. “This does not break the Official Secrets Act. They’re just desperate for me not to tell the story. Why? Why would you want to try and stop this?” (Read more from “Foreign Government Slaps Special Forces Legend With Injunction During Podcast” HERE)

Holdout Juror in Lindsay Clancy Mistrial, Michael P. Desronvil, Speaks out for First Time after Intense Backlash

The holdout juror who sparked a mistrial in Lindsay Clancy’s Massachusetts murder trial has spoken out publicly for the first time to defend himself amid an online frenzy — as his lawyer dubbed him “an American Hero and Champion of Justice” who loves the USA and President Trump.

Michael P. Desronvil, 48, clapped back at accusations from fellow jurors that he refused to budge on his belief Clancy was guilty of murdering her three kids despite expressing doubts.

“I didn’t have any doubts. As I tried to explain different possible theories during deliberation, I kept getting cut off as if I had doubts based on the evidence present,” Desronvil said in a statement to News Nation on Thursday. “Based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presents, I thought it was enough proof that she [Clancy] knew exactly what she was doing and planned.”

Desronvil — a father from a Haitian immigrant family and a devout Christian with a history of abuse allegations — was the lone juror who refused to find Clancy not guilty of murder by reason of insanity, a decision which turned the six-week trial on its head and dragged him to the center of the explosive case.

The Bridgewater resident comes from a large family of Haitian immigrants who moved to the US and settled in Massachusetts in 1982, meaning he would have been about 4 years old when he arrived in America. Trump Says He has a ‘Big Decision’ Coming up on Iran: ‘Do I Want to go in and Annihilate Them?’

President Trump said Thursday that he was at a crossroads over whether to renew attacks in Iran to wipe out the regime and bring the war to an end.

“I have a big decision coming up. Do I want to go in and annihilate them or do I not?” he told Axios. “It’s a big decision. Anything could happen with me.”

Trump’s comments echo previous threats he’s levied against Tehran since the war began.

But this time, he said, his next move is likely to be influenced by his meetings with Gulf allies at next week’s United Nations General Assembly meeting.

“I want to find out where they are and how they are doing. We have been very protective of them,” Trump added.

Tensions are expected to be high at the gathering after the Iran-backed Houthis launched fierce attacks on Saudi Arabia this past week, threatening global oil and gas supplies. (Read more from “Trump Says He has a ‘Big Decision’ Coming up on Iran: ‘Do I Want to go in and Annihilate Them?’” HERE)

Staffers at Tech Giants Knew AI Tools Posed ‘Existential Threat’ to News Publishers: Court Docs

High-level staffers at a pair of top tech companies knew that scraping online news content to bolster their AI models could have devastating impacts on publishers – but that didn’t stop them, according to a bombshell legal filing.

One OpenAI executive even warned that the shady tactic, in which tech giants circumvent paywalls to access stories to train their AI, could pose an “existential threat” to news organizations, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing the newly unsealed court documents in a massive copyright case.

A director at Microsoft had also sounded the alarm over the dodgy practice.

“Our AI content strategy has started a ‘doom loop’ that will hurt the performance of our models and the entire web at the same time,” said Brent Hecht, Microsoft’s director of applied science, the filing shows.

“It is highly unusual that an end-product threatens the economic foundations of its essential suppliers, but that is the situation we have created for our LLM business with respect to its ‘content supply chain,’” said Hecht. Haunting Footage Shows NBC4 Helicopter Drop out of Sky into LA Parking Lot — Killing 3

Newly released video shows the terrifying final seconds before a news helicopter suddenly lost altitude and crashed Tuesday night, killing its two-person crew and a man on the ground in Chatsworth.

The footage, obtained by NBCLA from a nearby building, captures the Airbus helicopter hovering over an intersection before it abruptly begins dropping toward the ground.

The helicopter had been covering a deadly crash involving an SUV and a Metro bus when it went down in the parking lot of a self-storage business.

Reporter Eliana Moreno, 38, and pilot George Marciniw were killed in the crash, along with 29-year-old Edy Gutierrez Mejia, who was on the ground.

“With heavy hearts, the board and members of the Radio & Television News Association of Southern California join our broadcast community in mourning the loss of pilot George Marciniw and Eliana Moreno, the Golden Mike Award–winning aerial journalist known to viewers of NBC Los Angeles and Telemundo 52 — and to her many followers — as ‘Eli in the heli.’ (Read more from “Haunting Footage Shows NBC4 Helicopter Drop out of Sky into LA Parking Lot — Killing 3” HERE)

Rand Paul Blocks John Kennedy From Passing AI ‘Kill Switch’ Bill In One Fell Swoop

Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul blocked Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy’s legislation Wednesday that would require artificial intelligence (AI) models to have a “kill switch.”

Kennedy attempted to pass the bill without holding a formal vote, which just one senator can prevent. The legislation would require all AI models to have a “kill switch,” a safety or security mechanism used to shut down a machine, vehicle or software program.

“Benjamin Franklin famously said that failing to plan is planning to fail,” Paul said. “When approaching something as important as innovation, as AI, I think we should make sure we have as many facts as possible before we dictate rules for the whole economy. Artificial intelligence is an incredible technology, it’s quickly transforming how work is done. What used to take people hundreds of man hours, now takes seconds … It’s important that the development of AI is carried out in a responsible, thoughtful manner.

“If Congress acts hastily before the technology is understood, Congress risks killing innovation and taking this technology back decades,” Paul continued.

University Of Washington Scrubbed Pentagon-Funded Professor’s Ties To Chinese Military Firm, Report Finds

One of the most federally funded universities in America quietly removed its professor’s ties to a Chinese company, a new report found.

The University of Washington maintained a years-long research relationship with Shanghai biotech firm Origincell Technology Co., Ltd., primarily through mechanical engineering professor Dayong Gao, according to a Strategy Risks report obtained and reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation. Gao’s cryopreservation research at the Center for Cryo-Biomedical Engineering and Artificial Organs was funded by the Department of War, among other federal agencies, before the department identified Origincell as a Chinese Military Company.

The Department of War first listed the company as a Chinese military company operating in the United States in Jan. 2025, according to a Federal Register notice. The department restated the listing in June 2026 and said Origincell is “indirectly affiliated” with the People’s Liberation Army, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other Chinese defense-industrial bodies, the designation notice stated.

Origincell builds automated freezers to store human cells and other biological samples, according to the company’s ‘About’ page.

Gao received the “Origincell Endowed Professorship” at a Jan. 2017 ceremony attended by Origincell executives and university officials, including UW Vice Provost Jeffrey Riedinger, College of Engineering Dean Michael Bragg and Mechanical Engineering Department Chair Per Reinhall, a UW Mechanical Engineering release said. Apple Turns Siri AI Into A Search Engine For Your Most Private Data

Apple’s revamped voice assistant can dig through users’ private data and act on what it finds.

The company unveiled Siri AI, an artificial intelligence assistant that can reach into the personal text messages, photos and emails across a user’s device to perform tasks for the user, as part of its release of Apple Intelligence for iOS 27, according to Apple’s Monday newsroom announcement. These features arrive more than two years after the company’s June 2024 preview of this personalized Siri.

“Built on Apple Intelligence, this new version of Siri draws on personal context understanding to help users find what they need in the moment across messages, emails, photos, and more,” Apple stated in the announcement.

Siri AI has the ability to draft emails, edit photos and even act upon content actively displayed on an Apple user’s screen, according to the announcement.

The new revamped Siri is able to mimic how users write to individual contacts over email and text with its writing tools, the announcement states. (Read more from “Apple Turns Siri AI Into A Search Engine For Your Most Private Data” HERE)

Illegal Alien Who Went Viral for Screaming He Wasn’t Going Back to Haiti Has Been Deported

Back in January, a criminal illegal alien with more than a dozen criminal convictions went viral for screaming about how much he hates President Trump and loves Democrats like Joe Biden and Barack Obama. The man, identified as Wisteguens Jean Quely Charles (or Chargles in some reports), was arrested near Boston.

“F*** Trump, you feel me? Yo, Biden forever, bro! Thank Obama for everything that he did for me, bro!” he screamed as he was taken away by ICE.

Now Fox News Congressional Correspondent Bill Melugin confirms that Chargles has been sent back to Haiti. This was confirmed yesterday by the Department of Homeland Security.

“DHS confirms to @FoxNews that Wisteguens Jean Quely Chargles was finally deported back to his home country on Thursday, 19 months after his arrest. I’m told he was combative on the plane, which originated in Louisiana, and he made profane, threatening remarks about President Trump and his family while on board,” Melugin wrote. “Per DHS, he had 17+ criminal convictions in just a two-year span in the state of Massachusetts. He was initially admitted to the US in 2013 during the Obama administration and was granted TPS. His TPS was later revoked in 2022. We witnessed him being arrested by ICE in the sanctuary city of Boston on 1/22/2025, just days into the Trump 2.0 administration.” (Read more from “Illegal Alien Who Went Viral for Screaming He Wasn’t Going Back to Haiti Has Been Deported” HERE)

DHS Cracks Down On Immigration Attorneys Who File ‘Meritless’ Asylum Claims

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is cracking down on immigration attorneys who file what the agency calls “meritless” and fraudulent asylum claims, according to a letter obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller.

A letter from DHS General Counsel James Percival to the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) argues that the immigration court system is facing a massive backlog, with nearly 3.5 million cases and 2.3 million asylum claims pending as of July 2026.

DHS attributes much of the backlog to what it calls “meritless asylum claims,” arguing that such claims can delay deportation and allow migrants to remain in the U.S. while their cases are pending.

The letter says claims involving generalized gang violence, domestic violence, economic hardship, and other country conditions often fail to meet the legal standard for asylum.

The department further argues that “meritless asylum applications are filed to obtain work permits, to delay deportation, and to force a release from custody,” while warning that claims without a reasonable legal or factual basis “will be dealt with accordingly.” (Read more from “DHS Cracks Down On Immigration Attorneys Who File ‘Meritless’ Asylum Claims” HERE)
