Watch: Startling Video of Hillary Just Surfaced That Has People Shouting ‘Racism’
By Gerry Urbanek. New York City’s annual Inner Circle Dinner is an opportunity for New York’s political elite to enjoy an evening of food, fun, and awkward skits performed by politicians.
This year, however, a skit performed by Hillary Clinton and New York City mayor Bill de Blasio had attendees in shock.
The “joke” started when Hillary thanked de Blasio for his endorsement, but commented on how long it took him to do so.
“I just have to say thanks for the endorsement, Bill. Took you long enough,” Hillary said to mild laughter.
Then de Blasio took the joke in a direction no one was expecting.
“Sorry Hillary, I was running on C.P time,” de Blasio said to a mix of laughter and gasps. C.P. time, or “colored people time,” is used to stereotype blacks and other minorities as lazy and often late. Hillary Clinton and Bill De Blasio Ripped Over Racial Skit
By Neetzan Zimmerman. Hillary Clinton performed in a racially tinged skit at an annual New York City press dinner as the controversy surrounding former president Bill Clinton’s defense of his wife’s “superpredator” remark continues to swirl.
Clinton took the stage for a surprise appearance at Saturday’s Inner Circle Dinner and proceeded to needle Mayor Bill de Blasio for his belated endorsement . . .
“Sorry, Hillary, I was running on C.P. time,” de Blasio replied to gasps from the crowd.
As Raw Story explains, “C. P. time,” or “colored people time,” refers to “the stereotype that African Americans generally tell as a reason for being late to an event or a traditionally black event not beginning on time.”
