Sam Altman’s Sister Who Claims He Raped Her As Young Child Loses Suit

The sister of one of the most powerful artificial intelligence executives saw her childhood sexual abuse lawsuit against him thrown out after refusing a medical exam.

U.S. District Judge Zachary Bluestone, a Trump appointee, dismissed a lawsuit Monday in which Annie Altman accused her brother, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, of repeatedly sexually abusing and raping her within a span of nine years from 1997 to 2006, beginning when she was three years old and he was 12, court records show. The ruling concludes a nearly two-year legal fight between the two, though Mr. Altman and his family have denied the allegations, Reuters reported.

Bluestone threw out both Altman siblings’ claims after Annie refused a medical examination, though Sam is free to refile his, according to the court order.

“I am no longer authorized to comment on this case but I continue to believe in Annie,” Annie Altman’s former counsel, Santos Perez, said in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Laura Politi, Annie Altman’s current counsel, and Sam Altman’s attorneys Hailyn Chen of Munger, Tolles & Olson and Jonathan Kravis of Liu Shur Kravis did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.
