April Ryan, the White House correspondent for theGrio, has not been known to leave her personal political opinions at the door of the White House briefing room. Ryan again made this abundantly clear on Thursday when she decided to engage in the spreading of literal disinformation about a previous hoax amplified by the Biden administration.

With Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas attempting to spin Biden’s border crisis as a success — the border is “not open,” he insisted again — Ryan asked a question about the massive surge of illegal immigrants amassing at and crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.

“The southern border is not just Mexicans, it’s Haitians, its Africans,” Ryan said. “Especially as we saw with that issue with the Haitians being whipped with the reins on the horses,” she continued before being cut off by Mayorkas.

“Let me just correct you right there because, actually, the investigation concluded that the whipping did not occur,” Mayorkas explained in what may have been his only truthful comment of Thursday’s White House press briefing. Biden DHS Is Literally Inviting Mexican Officials to Send Batches of Illegal Aliens Across the Border

Instead of stopping the illegal aliens currently swarming the border thanks to the upcoming expiration of Title 42 — a pandemic-era policy that allowed Border Patrol to immediately expel illegal migrants upon first encounter — the Biden administration is actively facilitating unlawful entries into the United States.

According to a report from the Center for Immigration Studies, President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has been coordinating with Mexican immigration officers to facilitate group swims across the border using an encrypted WhatsApp channel.

Mexican immigration officers explained to the Center for Immigration Studies that in late April, DHS initiated a “controlled-flow” system with Mexican officials.

Under the arrangement, Mexican senior officers have been continually informing U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials how many immigrants are “gathered and [are] prepared to cross the river.” Then, “the Americans on the other side would ask the Mexicans to hold back the migrants – not because such crossings are illegal and should be blocked and obstructed, but only until the Americans had finished processing the last batch,” explained Todd Bensman for the Center for Immigration Studies.

When the Americans can take more illegal migrants, they send word to the Mexican officials, who radio their on-ground immigration officers. China Expands Targeting of U.S With Russian-Style Covert Influence Operations

China’s government is expanding the use of covert influence operations targeting the United States and is expected to exploit the White House-congressional clash over the debt limit crisis as part of growing anti-U.S. activities, the director of national intelligence said.

The most recent DNI annual threat assessment warned that China’s efforts are nearing the aggressive intensity of similar covert disinformation operations from Russia, including the use of intelligence agents, cybertools and social media to meddle in U.S. elections, weaken national security laws and exacerbate domestic divisions.

“Beijing’s growing efforts to actively exploit perceived U.S. societal divisions using its online personas move it closer to Moscow’s playbook for influence operations,” the assessment states.

The report described Russian disinformation as one of the “most serious foreign influence threats to the United States.”

Avril Haines, the director of national intelligence, disclosed in congressional testimony on May 4 that China is expected to use the looming government crisis over raising the debt ceiling in its anti-U.S. influence campaigns. Judge Obtains Transgender School Shooter’s Unredacted Manifesto

Nashville city attorneys submitted an unredacted copy of the Covenant School shooter’s manifesto to a county judge on Friday for review after several lawsuits were filed demanding its release to the public.

Local media reported that attorneys representing the city submitted two versions of the manifesto — an unredacted copy and a proposed redacted duplicate — to the Davidson County Chancellor’s chambers for review ahead of a public hearing about releasing the writings scheduled for June 8.

Two months have passed since a 28-year-old woman, who identified as a man and who this publication is not naming to avoid giving notoriety to shooters, carried out a mass shooting at the private Presbyterian school that left six dead, including three 9-year-olds. The victims’ names included Evelyn Dieckhaus, 9; Hallie Scruggs, 9; William Kinney, 9; Cynthia Peak, 61; Katherine Koonce, 60; and Mike Hill, 61.

Metro Nashville Police officers shot and killed the shooter just minutes after authorities received the first call, according to previous reports. Federal and local authorities searched the property of the female shooter, where they found five laptops, a suicide note, two memoirs, five Covenant School yearbooks, and seven cellphones, according to a search warrant.

Nashville police previously denied The Daily Wire’s request for a copy of a manifesto or diary, citing the investigation as “an open case” and told The Daily Wire to send another request once authorities close the case. Former CIA Director Can’t Clean up This ‘Dirty’ Letter That Was Meant to Secure Biden’s 2020 Win

Now we know that the CIA conspired with former acting director Mike Morell and the Biden campaign to produce a letter falsely claiming that emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop were Russian disinformation — and solicited signatures from at least one former intelligence official.

But there is much more to come from the House Intelligence and Judiciary committees on the origins of that “Dirty 51” letter cooked up by five former CIA directors and 46 fellow spooks to discredit The Post’s reporting on the laptop.

John Brennan, the Obama-era CIA chief, admitted to House investigators in a four-hour closed-door deposition last week that the letter was “political.”

James Clapper, the former director of national intelligence, is slated to appear next week.

Brennan and Clapper also were involved in the Hillary Clinton campaign’s Russia hoax against Donald Trump and have lied to Congress previously without sanction, but it is unlikely the new breed of Republicans conducting these investigations will be as lenient as their predecessors.

Why does the letter matter? Because it was crucial to saving Biden’s skin to deny that he had met with his son Hunter’s Ukrainian paymaster Vadym Pozharskyi while he was VP, as The Post reported on Oct. 14, 2020, citing evidence from the laptop. Fundraiser for Ex-Marine Nears $2M as Attorneys Say Subway Chokehold Case ‘Struck a Chord’ With Public

A fundraiser for Daniel Penny neared the $2 million mark Sunday, with his attorneys saying donations have kept rolling in because the subway chokehold case has “struck a chord” in the psyche of people across the country.

The “Legal Defense Fund” for Penny — the 24-year-old former Marine charged with manslaughter in the death of homeless man Jordan Neely — had eclipsed $1.8 million in donations by Sunday evening.

“The outpouring of support for Danny is always measured by the amount raised, but what is even more telling is that tens of thousands of people from all over the world have taken the time to donate,” Penny’s attorney, Steven M. Raiser, wrote in an email to The Post.

“This level of support demonstrates that the situation forced upon him in that subway car earlier this month, and his subsequent arrest, has struck a chord in the psyche of New Yorkers and has been echoed nationwide,” Raiser wrote.

Biden’s Push to Make Military Vehicles ‘Climate-Friendly’ Hands America’s Military Infrastructure to Red China

President Joe Biden’s newest bid to make the American military “climate-friendly” wouldn’t just weaken our military advantage, it would put Red China in control.

During a recent Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm was asked by Iowa Republican Sen. Joni Ernst whether she supports efforts by the Biden administration to make the U.S. military an “EV [electric vehicle] fleet by 2030,” to which Granholm replied, “I do, and I think we can get there, as well.”

“I do think that reducing our reliance on the volatility of globally traded fossil fuels where we know that global events like the war in Ukraine can jack up prices for people back home… does not contribute to energy security,” Granholm claimed. “I think energy security is achieved when we have homegrown, clean energy that is abundant.”

Granholm’s testimony was hardly the first time the Biden administration has outwardly endorsed the idea of overhauling America’s military to fit the left’s unrealistic vision of a so-called “environmentally friendly” fighting force. On Earth Day last year, Biden gave a speech in Seattle, in which he laid out his vision of using “billions” of taxpayer dollars to make “every vehicle” in the U.S. military “climate-friendly.” Unsurprisingly, the president failed to explain how he intends to achieve this ludicrous goal.

“I’m going to start the process where every vehicle in the United States military — every vehicle is going to be climate-friendly. Every vehicle,” Biden said. “No, I mean it. Supreme Court Opinion Uses Female Pronouns to Refer to Transgender Woman

In a recent opinion, the U.S. Supreme Court used female pronouns to refer to a man who identifies as a woman.

The case pertains to a transgender woman from Guatemala who is seeking to remain in the U.S.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson delivered the high court’s opinion in the case, and she was joined by Justices John Roberts, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. Justice Samuel Alito filed a concurring opinion, in which he was joined by Justice Clarence Thomas.

“Petitioner Leon Santos-Zacaria (who goes by the name Estrella) fled her native Guatemala in her early teens. She has testified that she left that country, and fears returning, because she suffered physical harm and faced death threats as a transgender woman who is attracted to men,” Jackson wrote in the opinion, using female pronouns to refer to the man.

“Santos-Zacaria eventually sought refuge in the United States. Her first stay in the country was brief, and she was removed by immigration authorities in 2008. In 2018, she returned and was apprehended again by immigration authorities,” Jackson wrote. “At that point, Santos-Zacaria sought protection from removal, including withholding of removal based on the likelihood she would be persecuted in Guatemala.”

Poll: More Than Half of Americans Say Motherhood Is ‘Most Important Role for a Woman to Fill In Today’s World’

More than half of Americans say motherhood is the “most important role for a woman to fill in today’s world,” a Rasmussen Reports poll found.

The survey — which was conducted with 1,059 American adults between May 8-10 with a ±3 percent margin of error at the 95 percent confidence level — found that 56 percent believe motherhood is the “most important role” for women, which is up from 52 percent in 2018. Thirty percent disagree with that statement, while 14 percent are not sure.

The percentage of Americans who view Mother’s Day as “one of our nation’s most important holidays” has also slightly increased since 2018, from 31 percent to 34 percent this year. Thirteen percent rank it as one of the least important holidays and 49 percent say it ranks somewhere in the middle. Rasmussen noted that Americans “consistently rank Christmas as the most important holiday, usually followed by the Fourth of July.”

By political affiliation, Democrats (42 percent) are more likely than Republicans (32 percent) and unaffiliated voters (28 percent) to rank Mother’s Day as one of the nation’s top holidays. LGBTQ Activists Go All in on Mother’s Day: ‘Trans Women Can Be Moms Too’ (VIDEO)

LGBTQ activists spouted far-left talking points in celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday by sharing memes and videos about how fathers can be mothers too.

In one video shared by Libs of TikTok, a man who identifies as a woman said America should have a “Parents Day.”

“There’s two different days of the year that I question. There’s Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. As a trans person, as a trans woman, which one do I celebrate? I don’t feel like a father. Mother’s Day is tomorrow, I feel like a mom, but who celebrates me?” he asked rhetorically.

“I just genuinely want to know is there other people out there that you don’t know which one you fall under. Are you a mom or are you a dad? Where’s Parents Day? Why can’t we just have a Parents Day? he added. “Like you’re a parent that’s worth celebrating. Why does it have to be one or the other?” . . .
