The West Is Losing Weapons Production Race to Russia, NATO Ally Says

Russia’s defense industry has “almost doubled” its prewar ammunition production rates, according to a senior NATO member defense official who estimated that Ukrainian forces could face as many as 10,000 incoming rounds per day.

“Russia can still manufacture a lot of dumb bombs,” the Estonian defense minister’s permanent secretary, Kusti Salm, told reporters in Washington this week. “And dumb bombs are also 152 [mm] artillery that does the most damage in the battlefield. … Shooting 10,000 artillery [rounds] a day makes a lot of damage.”

That sobering thought punctuated a wider warning that Russia has vast resources available to conduct a protracted war in Ukraine despite sustaining heavy losses over the past year. And that assessment raised a corollary misgiving that Western defense companies have not taken the necessary steps to provide adequate supplies to Ukraine while preparing for future threats.

“The attitude from the industry [is] that ‘we will only wake up in the morning when you put the contract on the table,’” said Salm. “Our stocks are getting more depleted. So we’re not only on the uphill trajectory here with the trend. We are still going down. Abortion Infiltrating School Campuses, and Look Who’s Bringing It

Lawmakers in blue states across the country are passing laws to require public universities to provide chemical abortions on campus.

A new California law took effect on Jan. 1 requiring all public university health systems in the University of California and California State University systems to stock abortion pills. Massachusetts passed a similar law to ensure students have immediate access to abortion while New York is considering similar measures.

The California law, signed by Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom in 2019, has been used as a blueprint for other states to safeguard on-campus abortion access in wake of the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The law requires all 33 schools in the UC and CSU system to stock “abortion by medication techniques at on-campus student health centers.”

“California has 150 abortion clinics, taxpayer-funded abortion, and no shortage of abortion access. Mandating that state universities dispense abortion drugs is nothing more than lethal virtue-signaling by California politicians who prioritize delivering a dead baby over a live one,” Mary Rose Short, California Right to Life director, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

U.S. Marine Allegedly Flew From Louisiana to Florida to Have Sex With 14-Year-Old Girl He Met Online

A U.S. Marine, stationed in Louisiana, is currently in custody in Florida after investigators say he had “intercourse” with a 14-year-old girl he had met on a social media app.

Just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening, dispatchers with the West Melbourne Police Department received a call from a woman who claimed her 14-year-old daughter had gone missing. The woman, whose name has not been released, said she had seen the girl at approximately 8 a.m. that morning but had not seen her since. Police classified the girl as a “runaway” and began an investigation into her disappearance.

The woman stated that she had picked her daughter up from an America’s Best Value Inn “on a different date,” a court document stated, and she had gone through her daughter’s phone to try and determine where she might be and with whom. The girl’s phone allegedly revealed that she had met Sean Michael Rudziewicz, a 22-year-old U.S. Marine, on a video chat app called Omegle. As their correspondence progressed, Rudziewicz suggested they continue chatting on other apps, such as Discord and Snapchat “to further the relationship,” a police report stated.

During one of their recent conversations, the girl reportedly suggested that Rudziewicz come out to Melbourne, along the eastern coast of Florida, for a visit. Rudziewicz agreed and flew into town on January 16. While there, he took the juvenile “to the movies, the mall, and the beach,” the police report claimed. . .

Rudziewicz was, in fact, arrested and booked into Brevard County Jail, where he is being held on $70,000 bond. He has been charged with lewd or lascivious battery to a victim 12 to 16 years of age and interference with child custody, Law & Crime reported, and is scheduled to appear in court again on February 23. Rudziewicz has claimed that the victim had previously told him that she was 18. Trump Seen Praying With South Carolina Restaurant Employee During Campaign Stop

Former President Donald Trump prayed with an emotional South Carolina restaurant worker during a campaign stop, a viral video showed.

Trump approached the counter at Zesto of West Columbia on Saturday and asked a female employee if she recommends the food as the worker records the ex-president with her cellphone camera.

“Yes sir,” the employee at the counter responds before asking, “Do you care if I pray for you?”

“Go ahead,” Trump says before the woman holds his hand and asks God to watch over him, the video shows.

The video spread like wildfire on social media, racking up more than 2 million views by Sunday afternoon.

Americans Could Be in a ‘World of Hurt’ if Biden Doesn’t Act, Ex Walmart CEO Warns (VIDEO)

Mass layoffs are plaguing more than just the Big Tech industry.

On Sunday, former Walmart CEO Bill Simon joined “Fox & Friends Weekend” to warn Americans of the detrimental impact that corporate layoffs could have on the U.S.’s feeble economy.

“It’s crazy right now. We’re stuck in this loop of wage inflation, product inflation and cost inflation. And it’s just that cycle keeps going. And I think, unfortunately, an inevitable byproduct of some of the Fed’s moves and as the necessary medicine we have to take to kind of cool things down and get the inflation back under control on some of these layoffs that are coming,” Simon told co-host Will Cain.

Although the labor market remains healthy and one of the few bright spots in the economy, there are signs that it is beginning to soften. In addition to a number of high-profile tech layoffs over the past month, the economy added 223,000 jobs in December, the smallest gain in two years.

Federal Reserve officials have said they expect unemployment to climb as a result of their aggressive interest rate hike campaign. Updated projections from the central bank’s December meeting show that officials expect unemployment to rise to 4.6% by the end of this year, up from the current rate of 3.5%. By Daily Wire. San Francisco law enforcement officials released body camera footage Friday from the October attack on Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) husband, Paul Pelosi.

A San Francisco judge ordered that the footage be made public after a coalition of news outlets filed a motion to release the footage on January 11.

The footage shows police knocking on the door of the home before either Pelosi or DePape opened it.

“What’s going on man?” an officer asks.

“Everything is good,” DePape responds as he wrestled for control of a hammer with Pelosi.

The Police Bodycam Footage of the Pelosi Home Invasion Is Out. Here’s What It Shows.

By Townhall. Okay, hammer time is here, as authorities have released the body cam footage relating to the Paul Pelosi home invasion last October. The bizarre home invasion led to a slew of conspiracy theories, some of which were insanely entertaining, about this attack and Mr. Pelosi’s relationship with the intruder.

The footage shows Mr. Pelosi opening the door, where he and the intruder, David DePape, were fighting over control of a hammer. Pelosi was struck and required brain surgery during this incident. First reports said were no signs of forced entry, though security cam footage from the Peosi home shows DePape smashing a window to enter the home. After months of lingering in the dark, multiple news organizations filed a lawsuit, demanding that all video and audio evidence relating to this incident be released. . .

Initially, it was also reported that DePape entered the residence wearing nothing but underwear and armed with a hammer, which added more palace intrigue since who could miss someone like this strolling through the neighborhood? As the video shows, that wasn’t the case, though Mr. Pelosi is shown pantless before he takes a massive blow.

Mr. Pelosi was able to make an emergency call, which is odd given this home invasion-hostage situation. The audio of the call has Mr. Pelosi wondering where the Capitol Police were, adding that DePape had gained entry into his home. During the call, DePape identifies himself as a “friend,” which Pelosi denies. He’s later commanded to terminate the call with the police.

Senator Demands Answers From Pfizer Over Project Veritas Video

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) sent a letter to Pfizer this week demanding answers after an undercover sting video was published by Project Veritas this week that allegedly showed an official at the company claiming that it was involved in controversial research related to vaccines.

The 10-minute video, which has been viewed nearly 20 million times, shows a man identified as Jordon Trishton Walker, Pfizer’s director of research and development, strategic operations – mRNA scientific planner, claiming that the company is “exploring” ways to “mutate” coronaviruses so they can “create — preemptively develop new vaccines.”

“If we’re gonna do that though, there’s a risk of like, as you could imagine — no one wants to be having a pharma company mutating f***ing viruses,” he said. “Don’t tell anyone. Promise you won’t tell anyone. The way it [the experiment] would work is that we put the virus in monkeys, and we successively cause them to keep infecting each other, and we collect serial samples from them.”

“You have to be very controlled to make sure that this virus [COVID] that you mutate doesn’t create something that just goes everywhere,” he added. “Which, I suspect, is the way that the virus started in Wuhan, to be honest. It makes no sense that this virus popped out of nowhere. It’s bulls***.”

Accused Pedophile Pleaded Guilty to Grooming, Devised ‘Unbelievable’ Schemes to Meet Underaged Girls by Dressing as a Teen Girl, Using Fake Social Media Profiles, Enrolling in School

A British man devised elaborate and “unbelievable” schemes to meet underaged girls. The accused pedophile allegedly created multiple fake social media profiles, pretended to be a schoolgirl by dressing in uniform, and attempted to enroll in the minor’s school.

Anthony Lonsdale, 21, pleaded guilty to eight counts of grooming and possession of sexually explicit images of children this week in court. Lonsdale was sentenced to seven years in jail. Plus, a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and five-year restraining order were enacted to prevent the accused pedophile from contacting the alleged victims.

The accused pedophile who was arrested last March went to great lengths to meet underaged girls, according to court documents.

When Lonsdale was 20 years old, he reportedly created multiple social media profiles on platforms including Snapchat, Instagram, and WhatsApp. He allegedly set up fake accounts as a teenage girl named “Tia.” Lonsdale would allegedly befriend underaged girls as Tia, then suggest that they should date a 12-year-old boy named “Sam.” . . .

“The sex offender also visited the Mansfield area dressed as a teenage girl to meet a 14-year-old girl in a park. Idaho Victim’s Mother Feels ‘Betrayed’ by Attorney Representing Murder Suspect (VIDEO)

The mother of Xana Kernodle, one of the four victims in the University of Idaho killings, said that she feels “betrayed” by her former attorney who reportedly dropped her to represent Bryan Kohberger, the man suspected of murdering her daughter.

Court-appointed attorney Anne Taylor previously represented Kernodle’s mother, Cara Northington, in an “unrelated drug case” when she suddenly withdrew her services on Jan. 5, the New York Post reported. On that day, Kohberger appeared in court for the first time since his arrest with Taylor representing him.

In an interview this week with NewsNation, Northington said she felt “heartbroken” because she trusted Taylor.

“[Taylor] pretended that she was wanting to help me,” Nottingham said. “And to find out that she’s representing him, I can’t even convey how betrayed I feel.”

NewsNation noted that Taylor’s office represented Northington in four cases since 2017. In the most recent case, drug charges were reportedly filed against Northington on Nov. 19, days after her 20-year-old daughter, her boyfriend, and two of her college roommates were found dead inside of their off-campus home near the University of Idaho.
