Mar-a-Lago Affidavit Released; There Are Some Missing Key Details in the DOJ’s Trump Raid Affidavit

After days of waiting and a flurry of motions from the Department of Justice attempting to keep the affidavit used in the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago sealed indefinitely, a redacted affidavit was finally released on Friday afternoon just before the 12:00 p.m. ET deadline set by federal Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart. There was such a rush to view the affidavit, however, that the government’s website where federal court records are posted completely crashed for nearly 30 minutes.

Once the site recovered, the affidavit was revealed to be a 38-page document that is heavily redacted — despite Judge Reinhart saying that the FBI’s redactions are “narrowly tailored” — leaving even more questions still unanswered. In all, 20+ pages are entirely or significantly redacted.

What remains un-redacted is a narrative of what most already knew: the government is conducting a criminal investigation concerning the improper removal and storage of classified information in unauthorized spaces, as well as the unlawful concealment or removal of government records that began after the National Archives and Records Administration referred the matter to the Justice Department on February 9, 2022. There Are Some Missing Key Details in the DOJ’s Trump Raid Affidavit

By Townhall. Judge Bruce Reinhart, who also signed off on the equally shoddy search warrant, wasn’t convinced by the government’s arguments for keeping the entire affidavit under seal. He allowed the Department of Justice to redact portions that could harm the integrity of the investigation, the security of its sources, and here’s the kicker: the safety of Donald Trump.

It’s a sea of black ink that does very little to support the narrative that this federal raid, which occurred on August 8, was justifiable. There’s no smoking gun here; Trump isn’t even mentioned in the affidavit in a way that gives the impression that he was targeted for criminal acts. All it did was bolster the argument that an over-politicized goon squad at the FBI and DOJ ransacked Trump’s home as a warning to Trump to stay at home in 2024. Federal agents have threatened those who might paint the Biden White House negatively. This raid is a Trump-media-DOJ story. The point is if there were something genuinely criminal—we would have known about it by now; the same applied to the Russian collusion hoax.

Some are focused on the classified documents that the FBI discovered on the Mar-a-Lago property, but there are no specifics about the nature of these documents. Also, there is nothing about nuclear secrets, a comical DOJ leak that further exposed this raid as part of a political persecution campaign. Brett Tolman, executive director for Right on Crime, noted that the affidavit does not contain evidence that supports the federal mens rea requirements, which is a burden of proof benchmark the government must meet to show criminal intent. There was no evidence to provide probable cause to search the safe. In other words, it’s quite a nothingburger that shows the DOJ cobbled together a bunch of fake law violations to make for incomprehensible legalese to bust down the doors of the home of an ex-president. That’s not law and order; that’s a rogue DOJ that’s become increasingly engulfed by paranoia, vindictiveness, and political animosity.

“​This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country. REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!​,” the 45th president said. ​​

Zuckerberg made the stunning admission last week during an interview on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”​

“Basically, the background here is the FBI, I think, basically came to us — some folks on our team — and was like, ‘Hey, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert,’” Zuckerberg ​told the podcaster. Top FBI Agent Resigns Amid Claims He Shielded Hunter Biden From Probe: Report

By New York Post. A top FBI agent at the Washington field office reportedly resigned from his post last week after facing intense scrutiny over allegations he helped shield Hunter Biden from criminal investigations into his laptop and business dealings.

Timothy Thibault, an FBI assistant special agent in charge, was allegedly forced out after he was accused of political bias in his handling of probes involving President Biden’s son, sources told the Washington Times on Monday.

The agent was escorted out of the field office by at least two “headquarters-looking types” last Friday, the sources said.

Thibault and the FBI didn’t immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment on Monday.

Thibault, a 25-year-veteran, had already been on leave for a month after the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), started raising concerns about whistleblower claims the FBI had obstructed its own investigations into the first son. Last week, Biden told a group of rally goers that Democrats have a plan in place to “make sure no one, no one, ever has the opportunity to steal an election again.”

“If we elect two more senators, we keep the House and Democrats, we’re going to get a lot of unfinished business we’re going to get done. Folks, look, we’ll codify Roe v. Wade. We’ll ban, we’ll ban assault weapons. We’ll protect Social Security and Medicare. We’ll pass universal pre-K. We’ll restore the Childcare Tax Credit. We’ll protect voting rights. We’ll pass election reform and make sure no one, no one, ever has the opportunity to steal an election again!,” Biden said to the crowd.

But wait, which stolen election is he talking about? . . .

Biden’s New White House Twitter Strategy Highlights His Administration’s Incompetence

By Daily Wire. This week, leftists were delighted to see “mean tweets” return as the official White House Twitter account blasted Republicans for being critical of President Joe Biden’s student debt amnesty despite taking COVID-era Paycheck Protection Plan (PPP) loans that were also forgiven.

The only problem with that social media strategy is that PPP loans were completely different from college loans. In an obvious way, the new tactic highlights his administration’s incompetence.

On Wednesday, Biden announced that he was enacting massive debt cancellation — paid for in part by millions of Americans who didn’t attend college, nevermind take out student loans. Many GOP officials voiced concern that this was simply a transfer of wealth from the working class to the white-collar class.

Folks like Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Mike Kelly (R-PA), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and more all made similar comments, saying it was unfair for tradesmen and non-college degree holders to bail out post-grads.

In turn, the White House snarkily responded by posting evidence that those individuals and others had received PPP loans and had their debts forgiven.

Data Firm Sued by Federal Authorities for Allegedly Selling Geolocation Information That Could Track Users at Abortion Clinics

The Federal Trade Commission filed a lawsuit Monday against an app analytics company that sold hundreds of millions of users’ geolocation data that could allegedly reveal user location at abortion clinics, recovery centers, and places of worship.

Kochava Inc, a data broker which hosts one of the largest independent data marketplaces, has been accused by federal authorities of allegedly revealing people’s visits to reproductive health clinics, places of worship, homeless and domestic violence shelters, and addiction recovery facilities. The Commission further accuses the company of enabling others to identify individuals and threaten their safety and credibility.

“Where consumers seek out health care, receive counseling, or celebrate their faith is private information that shouldn’t be sold to the highest bidder,” Samuel Levine, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, said.

FTC officials allege that the Idaho-based app company has customized data that could track specific mobile device users at night by feeding purchasers a link between someone’s home address and identity.

“In fact, the data broker has touted identifying households as one of the possible uses of its data in some marketing materials,” federal officials said in a press release. Liberal State Passes Bill Making It a Transgender ‘Refuge’ for Kids and Parents

The California State Assembly passed a bill on Monday that seeks to establish the state as a sanctuary for children seeking transgender medical treatment, as well as parents who wish to put their children through such procedures.

The legislation, SB-107, appears to be in part pushed through as a response to other states taking action to limit the ability of parents to subject their children to transgender medical treatment. . .

“California must stand with LGBTQ kids and their families, especially when they’re under attack across the country,” Senator Wiener said when the bill passed the Assembly Appropriations Committee. “SB 107 ensures that California is a refuge state for trans kids and their parents, so they can be safe here. Parents should never be separated from their kids or criminalized for simply allowing them to be who they are. We need to hold firm in our support for the LGBTQ community and stand with LGBTQ youth.”

Top Dem Torches Biden’s Student Loan Debt Forgiveness Plan

Paul Begala, who served former President Bill Clinton as a top adviser, fiercely condemned on Sunday President Joe Biden’s plan to forgive student loan debt.

Speaking on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Begala not only called Biden’s plan “bad policy,” but he rebuked it as “bad politics.”

According to Begala, instead of forgiving debts that Americans freely enter, the money that will be used to execute Biden’s plan would be better served helping improve the lives of Americans stuck in under-resourced and under-privileged situations.

“For that amount of money, you could fund free pre-K for every 3 and 4-year-old for 10 years,” Begala said. “You would do a lot more good for poor people, communities of color, and the underprivileged by doing pre-K. You could forgive all medical debt, which, unlike student debt, is not freely entered into.”

Phoenix Reporter Who Broke Story About Corrupt Clinton-Loretta Lynch Tarmac Meeting Found Dead of Alleged Suicide

Veteran Alabama reporter and anchor Christopher Sign, who previously worked in Phoenix for more than a decade, was found dead by the local Hoover police Saturday morning, according to Hoover Police Department Capt. Keith Czeskleba.

Sign broke the news of a 2016 meeting between former President Bill Clinton, whose wife Hillary Clinton at the time was running for president and was being investigated by the FBI, and the then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport tarmac. At the time, their meeting was cast as a potential conflict of interest.

A report by the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Justice detailed what took place at that meeting.

Sign moved from Alabama to Arizona in 2005 and spent 13 years working in the Valley of the Sun where he won numerous awards including an Edward R. Murrow Award for spot news and an Emmy for breaking news coverage on the search for the ‘Baseline Killer’ and ‘Serial Shooter,’ according to a bio from ABC 33/40. We’ve mentioned how the follow-up stories have mainly been concentrated on the dates involving legal members of Trump’s office and the National Archives. That’s not evidence of a crime. If anything, it shows cooperation, but another angle is that the Biden DOJ might have laid a trap for the former president. They sent a June 8 letter telling Trump’s legal team to keep all documents at Mar-a-Lago in the storage room basement. They were instructed to keep those records there “indefinitely.” One month later, federal agents raided the house.

Again, you all know this wasn’t about some missing document beef. Was it a dragnet to find any corroborative evidence regarding the Russian collusion investigation or the January 6 riot, the latter of which liberal America erroneously thinks was a Trump-led plot, despite an August 2021 FBI report rebuking that conspiracy theory? Fed Raises Interest Rates Again — Here’s How It Affects Your Wallet

The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) announced Wednesday that it is raising the federal funds rate by 75 basis points, bringing the target range to 2.25% to 2.5%. This marks the fourth rate hike of this year.

The Federal Reserve previously raised interest rates by 75 basis points in June, marking the largest rate hike since 1994. It also raised interest rates by 50 basis points in May and by 25 basis points in March. And more rate hikes from the central bank are likely on the horizon.
