Poll: Most Hispanic Voters Support Trump’s ‘Title 42’ Border Policy

A majority of Hispanic voters support former President Donald Trump’s Title 42 immigration policy that makes it easier for the federal government to deport border crossers and illegal aliens, according to an Axios-Ipsos poll released Thursday.

Axios found that 51 percent of Hispanic Americans support keeping Title 42 in place. On the other hand, just 44 percent are opposed to the policy.

“I think because it’s a COVID mitigation thing, we do see sort of higher support for it, than if it were just sort of a pure immigration concern,” Ipsos pollster and senior vice president Chris Jackson told Axios. Jackson was reportedly “surprised” that most Hispanics supported Title 42.

These poll numbers come as President Joe Biden’s administration is in a legal dispute over the pandemic-era immigration policy. After Biden announced the program would end in May, 21 states sued the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), alleging Biden unlawfully terminated the program.

A man in Iowa is going viral after capturing footage of what he said was a UFO flying through the night sky Tuesday.

The Des Moines man was driving down Hickman Road when he said he saw the UFO above him.

“It’s like an eyeball-looking UFO. I don’t know what to make of it,” Jacob Ferrell said.

Insurance Company Offers Employees Money for Birth, Adoption

While many high-profile companies are offering employees money for abortion tourism in the wake of Roe v. Wade being overturned, a Texas-based insurance company is taking the opposite approach by allocating funds to new parents instead.

Buffer Insurance, a small company headquartered in Southlake, Texas, took a stand for both biological and adoptive parents and mentioned the Supreme Court decision when they announced the new initiative on Facebook.

Researchers Discover Breakthrough Treatment for Strokes

A drug commonly used to bust clots for heart attacks has been shown to be an effective and efficient treatment for strokes, researchers say.

It was found in the largest clinical stroke trial ever run in Canada that Tenecteplase (TNK) is an effective treatment for acute ischemic stroke, Medical Express reported Wednesday.

“Intravenous tenecteplase (0·25 mg/kg) is a reasonable alternative to alteplase for all patients presenting with acute ischaemic stroke who meet standard criteria for thrombolysis,” said the study, published at The Lancet.

Dr. Bijoy Menon, MD, the co-principal investigator on the study, said the findings from the trial are “truly” “important” and “could revolutionize stroke treatment throughout the world.”

“Tenecteplase is known to be an effective clot dissolving drug,” continued Menon, a professor at the University of Calgary. “It is very easy to administer, which makes it a game changer when seconds count to save brain cells.” (Read more from “Researchers Discover Breakthrough Treatment for Strokes” HERE)

Percentage of Americans Saying the Country Is Headed in the Wrong Direction Reaches Shocking New High

An astounding 85% of Americans said that the country was headed in the wrong direction in a recent survey.

The AP-NORC survey found that only 14% of Americans said that the country was headed in the right direction, a dire result for Democrats hoping to hold on to congressional power in the midterm elections.

The percentage of Americans optimistic about the country’s direction has steadily collapsed from 29% in April to 21% in May and to 14% in June.

In the newest survey 92% of Republicans and 78% of Democrats said the country was headed in the wrong direction.

Good Morning America Calls Ketanji Brown Jackson ‘The First Black Supreme Court Justice in U.S. History’

A tweet posted to the Good Morning America Twitter account on Thursday erroneously described Ketanji Brown Jackson as being the nation’s first-ever black Supreme Court Justice.

“Ketanji Brown Jackson is sworn in as the first Black Supreme Court justice in U.S. history,” the now-deleted post declared.

The inaccurate tweet was reportedly up for hours before being deleted, but Good Morning America eventually issued a correction post.

Poll: Majority Says States Should Be Able to Determine Who Carries Concealed Weapons

Earlier this week, the U.S. Supreme Court sided with gun advocates, striking down a law against the concealed carry of firearms in New York, saying that it violated rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Now most Americans believe states should be able to determine who can carry a concealed weapon.

A new poll release by Monmouth University, found that 56 percent of U.S. citizens think that individual states should be allowed to limit who can carry concealed handguns in their state, while 42 percent of people disagreed.

The court is expected to make a similar decision that will affect New Jersey, California, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts and New York. . .

Meanwhile, 73 percent of Americans say they support legislation that requires a comprehensive background check before being a firearm, while 49 percent said they would support a law that establishes a national gun ownership database to register all guns in the country. Senate Sergeant at Arms Michael Stenger, 71, died on June 27 — one day before Tuesday’s abruptly scheduled Jan. 6 panel hearing in which a former aide to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows was to testify about recently obtained evidence, officials said.

Secret Service Says Jan. 6 Committee Didn’t Reach Out Before Bombshell Testimony on Trump Lunging at Agent

By Fox News. The January 6 Committee didn’t reach out to the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) before its Tuesday hearing regarding an allegation that former President Donald Trump lunged at one of its agents and tried to grab the steering wheel of a presidential vehicle, an agency spokesman said.

USSS spokesperson Anthony Gugliemi confirmed to Fox News Wednesday that the committee did not contact it in the days ahead of the hearing, after it was first reported by Politico. The committee did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News. . .

Soaring Crime Has Businesses Packing Their Bags in Dem-Run City

A business owner in Chicago, Illinois tells Fox News Digital that skyrocketing crime in the city forced him to quit doing business in town adding to the list of individuals and businesses that have fled Illinois over the past couple of years amid surging crime.

Gary Rabine, founder of the Rabine Group and owner of 13 businesses, told Fox News Digital this week that surging crime in Chicago was a driving factor in his decision to pull his road paving company out of the city after his crews were repeatedly robbed, sometimes in broad daylight, even after adding security to the jobs.

“We would do thousands of jobs a year in the city, but as we got robbed more, my people operating rollers and pavers we got robbed, our equipment would get stolen in broad daylight and there would usually be a gun involved, and it got expensive and it got dangerous,” Rabine told Fox News Digital. . .

Last week, billionaire Ken Griffin announced he is moving his hedge-fund firm Citadel Securities out of Chicago after citing crime as a major concern over the past few months.

“If people aren’t safe here, they’re not going to live here,” Griffin told the Wall Street Journal in April. “I’ve had multiple colleagues mugged at gunpoint. I’ve had a colleague stabbed on the way to work. Countless issues of burglary. Is Nancy Pelosi’s Time as Democrats House Leader Over?

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has been leading Democrats in the House of Representatives for almost 20 years, but her political future is once again the subject of speculation as her party looks set for major midterm defeats.

Pelosi previously said she would not remain in the leadership beyond 2022, yet has made no formal announcement that she will not seek to continue following this year’s midterm elections.

CNN reported in December that Pelosi had not ruled out staying in the top job after the midterms, citing sources familiar with her thinking, and her announcement in January that she’s seeking re-election in her district has added to the debate about her plans. . .

A Morning Consult poll conducted in February found that 60 percent of registered voters surveyed believed Pelosi should step aside from the Democratic leadership.
