By USA Today. Video of U.S. border agents chasing Haitian migrants on horseback stirred outrage Monday, with White House press secretary Jen Psaki calling the images “horrific” and Democratic lawmakers demanding accountability.

The Department of Homeland Security promised in a statement to investigate the matter. . .

“I’ve seen some of the footage, I don’t have the full context. I can’t imagine what context would make that appropriate, but I don’t have additional details, and certainly, … I don’t think anyone seeing that footage would think it was acceptable or appropriate,” Psaki said.

Pressed on whether border patrol agents should be fired or allowed to do it again, she said: “Of course they should never be able to do it again,” Psaki said, adding that it was “obviously horrific” footage. WATCH: Border Patrol Agent Yells ‘This Is Why Your Country’s S***’ To Haitian Illegals

By Business Insider. A US Border Patrol agent on horseback yelled “this is why your country’s s**t” at Haitian migrants attempting to get back to a migrant camp in Texas, according to a video reported by Al Jazeera on Monday.

In the video, a group of Haitian migrants — identified by reporter John Holman as a family — huddles together as the unidentified Border Patrol agent points back across the Rio Grande river.

The agent then points at a man carrying bags in the back of the group standing behind a woman and shouts “Hey, you use your women? This is why your country’s shit. Because you use your women for this.”

A different Border Patrol agent on horseback agent swings the horse’s reins at another migrant as the man in the group is forced away into the river.

Biblical Account of Sodom and Gomorrah Confirmed?

As the inhabitants of an ancient Middle Eastern city now called Tall el-Hammam went about their daily business one day about 3,600 years ago, they had no idea an unseen icy space rock was speeding toward them at about 38,000 mph (61,000 kph).

Flashing through the atmosphere, the rock exploded in a massive fireball about 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) above the ground. The blast was around 1,000 times more powerful than the Hiroshima atomic bomb. The shocked city dwellers who stared at it were blinded instantly. Air temperatures rapidly rose above 3,600 degrees Fahrenheit (2,000 degrees Celsius). Clothing and wood immediately burst into flames. Swords, spears, mudbricks and pottery began to melt. Almost immediately, the entire city was on fire.

Some seconds later, a massive shockwave smashed into the city. Moving at about 740 mph (1,200 kph), it was more powerful than the worst tornado ever recorded. The deadly winds ripped through the city, demolishing every building. They sheared off the top 40 feet (12 m) of the 4-story palace and blew the jumbled debris into the next valley. None of the 8,000 people or any animals within the city survived – their bodies were torn apart and their bones blasted into small fragments.

About a minute later, 14 miles (22 km) to the west of Tall el-Hammam, winds from the blast hit the biblical city of Jericho. Jericho’s walls came tumbling down and the city burned to the ground. . .

Getting answers required nearly 15 years of painstaking excavations by hundreds of people. It also involved detailed analyses of excavated material by more than two dozen scientists in 10 states in the U.S., as well as Canada and the Czech Republic. When our group finally published the evidence recently in the journal Scientific Reports, the 21 co-authors included archaeologists, geologists, geochemists, geomorphologists, mineralogists, paleobotanists, sedimentologists, cosmic-impact experts and medical doctors. Mysterious Alaskapox Virus That Jumps From Animals to Humans Has Resurfaced

The mysterious Alaskapox virus has resurfaced in Fairbanks, Alaska, this summer with two new cases. The earlier two cases, in 2015 and 2020, were also reported in the same area.

According to the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, the infected Alaskans have since recovered after contracting the disease with non-severe symptoms, Alaska Public Media reported.

Experts suspect that small animals are carriers of the virus, with a testing and trapping project having found evidence of Alaskapox virus in squirrels, voles, and shrews, KTOO reported.

By New York Post. Former President Donald Trump said the country is becoming a “cesspool of humanity” as the Biden administration scrambles to handle the more than 14,000 mainly Haitian migrants living in a makeshift camp under a bridge in Texas.

“​The largest number of illegal aliens in the history of our Country are pouring in by the millions. They are totally unchecked and unvetted, can do whatever they want, and go wherever they want​,” Trump said in an emailed statement on Sunday.

“​Our Country is rapidly becoming a cesspool of humanity. Murderers, drug dealers, and criminals of all shapes and sizes are a big part of this massive migration​,” the former president said.

More than 14,000 Haitians have been camping out in squalid conditions under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas, since last week waiting to be arrested, leading the Biden administration to close an entry point, reroute traffic, deploy more Border Patrol agents and arrange flights, which could begin as soon as Sunday, to return them to the Caribbean nation.​

“Tens of thousands of people are coming from Haiti, and many now from countries in Africa, even more so now than South America. Donald Trump Jr. Blames Democrats for ‘Out of Control’ Texas Border Crisis

By Newsweek. Donald Trump Jr. has blamed Democrats for the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border and pointed to the large numbers of migrants currently encamped underneath a bridge in Texas.

Former President Donald Trump’s eldest son took to Twitter on Friday to share a campaign from the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and criticize Democrats’ handling of the situation.

At least 12,000 migrants are now in a makeshift camp under the Del Rio International Bridge in the small town of Del Rio, Texas having crossed the Rio Grande from Mexico.

A new leaked document shows the Biden administration flouting the regulatory process in order to push through a massive financial favor to the powerful and lucrative abortion industry that backed Joe Biden’s presidential candidacy with tens of millions of dollars.

Less than two weeks after an already abbreviated period of time for the public to review and comment on the proposed regulatory change, Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services circulated a draft final rule that violates the clear language of Obamacare in order to benefit Planned Parenthood and other corporate abortion interests. The leaked document, dated August 10 and more than 300 pages long, was then sent to the Office of Management and Budget for final approval, according to multiple sources familiar with the federal rule making process. OMB posted confirmation of receipt August 19, a mere 50 days after the major rule change was first proposed to the public. . .

On July 1, the Biden administration proposed to eliminate and replace the Trump administration’s separate billing requirement.

Normally, such an important and economically significant rule change would require giving the public months of opportunity to comment, followed by months more of rigorous review of and response to the comments, before finalizing the rule. In a stunning move, the Biden administration provided only 28 days for public comment, thereby receiving only 341 comments. . .

The rushed rule change covers one of the most important legislative battles Democrats waged in order to pass Obamacare, which legislated a massive regulatory overhaul of the health insurance marketplace. Sen. Ben Nelson, a pro-life Democrat from Nebraska, authored the section requiring separate payment for abortion services. The bill would not have passed without the provision. Hypocrites: AOC’s ‘Tax the Rich’ Dress Designer Reportedly Owes Thousands in Unpaid Taxes

A new report alleges a seemingly hypocritical accusation against the designer of the dress Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) wore to the swanky Met Gala. The designer, Aurora James, is a “notorious tax deadbeat with unpaid debts dogging her in multiple states,” according to the New York Post.

James, 37, designed the “Tax the Rich” dress that Ocasio-Cortez wore to the $30,000-per-ticket posh fete. James, who reportedly has a net worth of $2 million, said the gown delivered a “powerful message” at the glitzy event that featured well-to-do celebrities and influential elites.

The controversy stems from the Cultural Brokerage Agency, an LLC that James formed in 2021 to serve as the parent company of her fashion brand, Brother Vellies. The company has been served 15 warrants in total since 2015, according to the outlet.

The New York Post reported:

The company racked up three open tax warrants in New York state for failing to withhold income taxes from employees’ paychecks totaling $14,798, the state Department of Taxation and Finance told The Post. The debts — which were incurred before the pandemic — stem from 2018 and 2019.

American Woman Stranded in Afghanistan: Biden’s State Department ‘Broke Me’

Since the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in August, Wilson has been focused on rescuing American citizens and U.S. allies while working for Project Dynamo, a civilian organization to evacuate “eligible parties out of Afghanistan.”

While searching for Americans to evacuate out of Afghanistan, she discovered a woman named “Julie.” . . .

On Friday, Wilson appeared on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” to tell Julie’s story. . .

Julie, who has allegedly been a U.S. citizen for at least 16 years, called into the cable news program to explain how she has been stranded in Afghanistan.

Perino asked Julie what the State Department told her to do in order to be evacuated from Afghanistan, to which she replied, “I am not doing anything. I’m just sitting on a hill.”

“Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace pressed National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins about President Joe Biden’s push for COVID-19 booster shots.

Wallace spoke with Collins about Biden’s plan — which would have all Americans begin receiving booster shots eight months after their initial vaccine doses — and the fact that the FDA had voted only to recommend boosters for those over 65 or with weakened immune systems.

Wallace argued that Biden had gotten out ahead of the experts when he suggested that booster doses of the Pfizer vaccine would be available for all Americans in the coming days only to have the FDA advisory panel vote that down, 16-2.

“Back during the campaign, he talked a lot about ‘follow the science.’ Isn’t announcing a specific date and a specific plan for the general population before any of the regulars — the FDA, the CDC — have approved it, isn’t that the exact opposite of ‘follow the science’?” Wallace challenged. France recalled its ambassadors to the U.S. and Australia due to the two countries’ joint agreement with the U.K. to give nuclear submarines to the Australian government, which violated a previous agreement to send French submarines down under, Fox News reported. The president did not answer any reporters’ questions on the issue and continued on his bike ride to Gordon’s Pond Trail in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, with First Lady Jill Biden.

Meanwhile, the migrant crisis has continued to surge at the southern border, with a recent influx of over 15,000 Haitian migrants entering Del Rio, Texas, with migrants camping under the international bridge in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions. The administration deployed 400 federal agents to the bridge and ramped up deportation flights. . .

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) revealed Wednesday that border agents encountered 208,887 migrants in August, slightly decreasing from the 212,000 in July after a steady increase of encountered migrants throughout the year, the outlet reported. The number of migrants increased by 317% in comparison to Aug. 2020 and 233% at the same time in 2019.
