4 Years After Objecting to Mandated COVID-19 Shot, Former Space Force Officer Receives ‘Zero Guidance’ to Return to Duty

A former Space Force officer’s objection to the military’s Biden-era COVID-19 vaccine mandate still haunts him over three years later.

WorldNetDaily spoke to Joshua Zermeno, a former officer who dedicated part of his career to space superiority, having served in the U.S. military for 13 years. In August 2021, Zermeno objected to then-Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s military COVID-19 shot mandate, questioning both its “efficacy and legality.” For this, he received two Letters of Reprimand (LORs) and a “Do Not Promote” recommendation that blocked his promotion to major. He was also banned from government buildings and required to work from home.

With his career collapsing in front of him, Zermeno attempted to voluntarily separate from the military in October 2021, but was told his separation was “not in the best interest of the Air Force and Space Force.” In the week following this statement, he said base leadership initiated Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) action against him. Despite the rescission of the COVID-19 shot mandate in January 2023, he was passed over for promotion a second time. Seven months later, he was forced to separate from the military entirely.

Nevertheless, Zermeno would consider returning to Space Force, but has been offered “zero guidance” from the Department of Defense and the Air Force’s Total Force Service Center, which manages Space Force matters.

The former Space Force officer said stories like his are among “the most censored topics globally.” He pointed out, “Many service members and veterans have turned to social media to share their experiences, but censorship limits reach, and account deletions risk erasing these stories.” Even his own X account has been “targeted and tagged with ‘Visibility limited: this Post may violate X’s rules against Hateful Conduct,’ despite its professional content.” (Read more from “4 Years After Objecting to Mandated COVID-19 Shot, Former Space Force Officer Receives ‘Zero Guidance’ to Return to Duty” HERE)

REPORT: NYC’s Communist Mayoral Candidate Applied to Columbia as a Black Man

It would be even more shocking if Zohran Mamdani weren’t abjectly insane. The hard left Democratic New York City mayoral candidate has an agenda that will essentially destroy the city, with actions to defund the police and install government-run grocery stores, to name a couple. He’s not a fan of Israel and is pretty much every horror you think of regarding the American Left. So, in keeping with that trend, are you shocked he tried to claim he was black when applying to Columbia University, because he did. Oh, I forgot—he also said he was Asian. Mamdani did not deny he did these things, and his explanation made for a good laugh (via NYT):

As he runs for mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani has made his identity as a Muslim immigrant of South Asian descent a key part of his appeal.

But as a high school senior in 2009, Mr. Mamdani, the Democratic nominee, claimed another label when he applied to Columbia University. Asked to identify his race, he checked a box that he was “Asian” but also “Black or African American,” according to internal data derived from a hack of Columbia University that was shared with The New York Times.

Columbia, like many elite universities, used a race-conscious affirmative action admissions program at the time. Reporting that his race was Black or African American in addition to Asian could have given an advantage to Mr. Mamdani, who was born in Uganda and spent his earliest years there.

American Teen Detained in Antarctica While Attempting Solo Flight to 7 Continents

An American teenager was detained on an Antarctic island while attempting to pilot his small plane to every continent, said Chilean authorities, who have charged him for allegedly submitting a false flight plan.

Ethan Guo, 19, gained an online following by documenting his trip around the world, which lasted well over 100 days and had already taken him to six continents prior to the Antarctic voyage, according to his website and social media posts.

Guo said he hoped to become the first pilot to complete a solo flight across all seven continents in a small Cessna, a feat that simultaneously aims to raise $1 million for cancer research through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. On his site, the teen cites his cousin’s 2021 cancer diagnosis as his source of inspiration.

Guo’s latest Instagram posts chronicled part of his path over southeastern Asia. But authorities in South America say he went on to traverse the Pacific Ocean, ending up in Chile before making his way toward Antarctica.

According to Cristian Cristoso Rifo, the regional prosecutor of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica, Guo departed from the airport in the city of Punta Arenas, near the southernmost point of Chile, and proceeded to conduct an unauthorized flight to King George Island. Located off the Atlantic coast, the island is claimed by Chile as part of its Atlantic territory. HHS Ends Funding for Curriculums Asking Teens to Fantasize About Using Condoms

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is cracking down on the kinds of sexually perverse material being produced for children under its Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program (TPPP), putting all recipients of federal grant funding on notice Wednesday, saying, “Federal funds may not be used to indoctrinate America’s children with radical ideologies or other inappropriate material.”

HHS’s notice also brigs the program in line with the Supreme Court’s opinion in Mahmoud v. Taylor last week, which acknowledges a parent’s right have advanced notice of content to opt their child out of material if they so choose.

“Program materials are expected reflect the immutable biological reality of sex, not radical gender ideology, and may not promote anti-American ideologies such as discriminatory equity ideology,” the announcement from HHS states. “Programs with such unauthorized content are not eligible for federal funding.”

The TPPP is intended “to reduce teen pregnancy through medically accurate and age-appropriate programming, not to promote harmful ideologies, risky sexual activity for minors, or other content outside the scope of the program,” HHS stated, but as documents obtained by The Federalist, and confirmed as authentic by an HHS official, show, the funding was being used to create curriculums that had children take part in graphic demonstrations of condom use and encouraged the use of pornography. Republican Congressman Refuses to Say Why He Called Male Colleague a ‘Lady’

Republican Representative Steve Womack referred to his male colleague, who dresses as a woman, as a “gentlelady from Delaware” during Wednesday’s Big Beautiful Bill hearing, according to a New York Times update.

Womack did not respond to The Federalist’s request for comment on why he chose to address “Sarah” (Tim) McBride as if he were a woman, whether Womack believes McBride is a woman, and if Womack always uses biologically false terms when asked to do so by people with gender dysphoria.

The Arkansas representative says that he is “committed to ensuring that the voices of his constituents are represented,” but it is unclear how his addressing McBride as a “lady” represents a state that is a leader in opposing LGBT ideology.

This Independence Day, Ditch the DNA Test and Learn More About Your American Ancestors

In recent years, Americans have become obsessed with learning about their ancient heritage. Only a few years ago, companies such as 23andMe and AncestryDNA celebrated their tens of millions of customers, whom they encouraged, in ridiculous commercials, to travel the world to find and develop deep connections with their far-flung roots. Then 23andMe — possessing all manner of private genetic and medical information — went bankrupt and was sold on July 1 to a nonprofit organization run by the company’s former CEO.

Nothing is inherently wrong with wanting to know about one’s ancestors — everyone should want to know from where and from whom they come. But the excessive interest in “the mother country” (or countries) often comes at the expense of learning about, and taking pride in, one’s American lineage. This Fourth of July, Americans should rekindle a knowledge and appreciation for how their family story plays into the greater American narrative of freedom and opportunity.

Remember, Your Ancestors Came to America

One irony of Americans’ interest in their roots from Europe, Asia, or Africa is that it tends to elide the fact that our ancestors chose to come here. Many immigrants came to America not because they hated their home country, but because they were fleeing something, such as religious persecution, political oppression, or poverty. However, many also believed the United States (or her predecessors — the colonies) offered something uniquely exciting and promising: freedom, opportunity, advancement. Study Reveals How Eating One Hot Dog a Day Can Impact Your Health

A new meta-analysis from the University of Washington suggests that no amount of processed food is safe to consume.

Researchers analyzed 77 different studies to gauge the link between certain amounts of these foods and common chronic diseases.

“Habitual consumption of even small amounts of processed meat, sugary drinks and trans fatty acids is linked to increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes, ischemic heart disease and colorectal cancer,” lead study author Demewoz Haile, a research scientist at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington, told Fox News Digital.

“There is no safe level of habitual consumption of these food groups, so they should not be included in our daily diet,” he stated.

For processed meats in particular, the researchers concluded that eating as little as 0.6 to 57 grams per day was linked to an 11% greater likelihood of developing type 2 diabetes. (Read more from “Study Reveals How Eating One Hot Dog a Day Can Impact Your Health” HERE)

Spermidine Is the ‘Swiss Army Knife of Longevity,’ From Hair Growth to Heart Health — How to Get More of It

. . .Studies show that spermidine, a naturally occurring compound, can improve brain health, immunity, cardiovascular resilience and overall appearance.

“Spermidine is the Swiss army knife of longevity,” Leslie Kenny, founder of Oxford Health Span and co-founder of the Oxford Longevity Project, told The Post.

And while natural sources of it include — as the name suggests — sperm, it can also be found in breastmilk as well as foods like wheatgerm, soy beans, mature cheeses, mushrooms and peas.

Spermidine it plays a key role in slowing aging, protecting against disease, fighting inflammation and maintaining metabolism by activating a process that gets rid of damaged cell parts and recycling them. . .

Exercise, fasting, pregnancy or acute infections can ramp up levels in the boy — but our natural production plummets as we age.

Yet longevity experts like Kenny say incorporating spermidine-rich foods and spermidine supplements can keep our minds sharp, skin supple and hearts kicking. (Read more from “Spermidine Is the ‘Swiss Army Knife of Longevity,’ From Hair Growth to Heart Health — How to Get More of It” HERE)

Trump Enters His ‘Golden Age’ as Bill Passage Caps Long List of ‘Remarkable’ Accomplishments — Wowing Even Critics

President Trump is at the height of his political power following Thursday’s passage of his “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” — capping a remarkable two-week streak of domestic and foreign policy feats that even Democrats are calling impressive.

Trump, 79, will sign the bill fulfilling his major campaign pledges — including to cut taxes on tips, overtime and Social Security benefits — at a pre-fireworks Independence Day party on the White House lawn.

B-2 stealth bombers will fly over the celebration in recognition of their role in the Trump-ordered June 21 US airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear program, which was followed two days later by an equally unprecedented Trump-brokered cease-fire between Israel and Iran.

The commander-in-chief, riding high on that diplomatic coup, strong-armed NATO nations at the alliance’s annual conference to boost military spending to 5% of their GDP by 2035, after complaining for years that US allies were freeloading off American taxpayers.

He returned home to good news from the Supreme Court, which handed him wins on deporting illegal immigrants to third countries and restricting nationwide injunctions by district court judges — while CBS’s parent company agreed to fork over $16 million for purportedly deceptively editing an interview last year with Trump’s election rival, then-Vice President Kamala Harris. The Autopen Speaks: Biden Comes Out of Retirement to Bash Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill

Former President Joe Biden made a rare reentry into the spotlight Thursday to attack President Donald Trump’s landmark legislative victory, posting on X just hours after the “One Big Beautiful Bill” cleared the House.

“The Republican budget bill is not only reckless — it’s cruel,” Biden wrote. “It slashes Medicaid and takes away health care from millions of Americans. It closes rural hospitals and cuts food assistance for our veterans and seniors. It jacks up energy bills. And it could trigger deep cuts to Medicare while driving up the deficit by $4 trillion. All of this to give a massive tax break to billionaires. Working people deserve better.”

The bill, which passed the House 218-214 on Thursday afternoon, fulfills a broad range of campaign promises made by President Trump and cements key pillars of his agenda into law. From border enforcement to tax cuts and regulatory rollback, the legislation touches nearly every issue that defined Trump’s return campaign and marks a sweeping rebuke of the Biden-era federal expansion.
