CDC Guidance Says People With COVID-19 Can Still Vote in Person

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that sick voters can safely cast their ballots in person as long as they follow proper coronavirus guidance.

“Voters have the right to vote, regardless of whether they are sick or in quarantine,” the CDC said in a guidance updated on Monday, adding that those who are ill with COVID-19 or are quarantining after possible exposure should take precautions to ensure poll workers and other voters are not exposed to the virus.

“This includes wearing a mask, staying at least 6 feet away from others, and washing your hands or using hand sanitizer before and after voting,” the guidance says. “You should also let poll workers know that you are sick or in quarantine when you arrive at the polling location. Check with local authorities for any additional guidance.”

The CDC guidance urged voters coming to the polls to be prepared by wearing a mask, bringing hand sanitizer, tissues, and a black ink pen. (Read more from “CDC Guidance Says People With COVID-19 Can Still Vote in Person” HERE)

Psychiatrist and CNN Guest Praises Hitler in Attempt to Dunk on Trump

A forensic psychiatrist, and former guest and health expert on both CNN and MSNBC, praised Adolf Hitler in an attempt to criticize President Donald Trump, and compared the Holocaust to Trump’s handling of the pandemic.

Dr. Bandy X Lee, an outspoken critic of Trump, tweeted her shocking comparison just one day before the election, crediting Hitler with better character than Trump.

“Donald Trump is not an Adolf Hitler. At least Hitler improved the daily life of his followers, had discipline, and required more of himself to gain the respect of his followers,” she wrote. “Even with the same pathology, there are varying degrees of competence.”

She also claimed that the pandemic death toll in the U.S “is higher than Hitler’s at the same period.”

Shortly after she tweeted the bizarre comparison, Lee removed her post. But instead of apologizing for her insensitive comments, Lee tweeted a long explanation attempting to justify them.

“Okay, I have taken it down, since it has upset so many people and was not provoking thought but the opposite. Of note, my statement was about how little Donald Trump believes he needs to do to retain his followership, NOT to minimize Adolf Hitler’s atrocities,” she wrote. Twitter Will Slap a Warning Label on Tweets Claiming Election Results Before They’re Officially Declared

Social media giant Twitter previewed on Monday a warning label that it would place on tweets that announce the results of the election before official sources declare the results.

Calling all Americans to take back our constitutional freedoms
The policy is meant to undermine the spread of misinformation about election results at a time when President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden are warning their supporters about false election results.

“We may label Tweets, starting on election night, that make claims about election results before they’re officially called. We’ll be prioritizing the presidential election and other highly contested races where there may be significant issues with misleading information,” read a statement from Twitter. . .

Other accounts eligible for the warning label are those in the U.S. that have more than 100,000 followers, or tweets that have “significant engagement,” which they define as having more than 25K likes or 25K quote tweets and retweets.

Twitter laid out the official sources of election results upon which they would rely to employ labeling. These include state election official results, and news outlets like Fox News, ABC News, the Associated Press, CNN News and NBC News. Families Say Relatives Are Dead to Them if They Vote Wrong

. . .Reuters spoke with a variety of U.S. voters across the country who all admitted to being a part of the same movement: shunning — or being shunned by — family members for differing political viewpoints.

One woman the news organization spoke to is 41-year-old Milwaukee resident Mayra Gomez. She said she told her 21-year-old son that she planned on voting for President Donald Trump in the forthcoming presidential election. Her choice was apparently the wrong one — at least according to the unnamed Millennial.

“He specifically told me ‘You are no longer my mother, because you are voting for Trump,'” she recalled him telling her. “The damage is done. In people’s minds, Trump is a monster. It’s sad. There are people not talking to me anymore, and I’m not sure that will change.” . . .

Gayle McCormick, a 77-year-old Democratic voter, said that she separated from her 81-year-old husband after he voted for Trump in 2016. . .

Rosanna Guadagno, a 49-year-old Democrat, said that her brother shunned her after she reportedly refused to support the president’s 2016 presidential bid and even allegedly went so far as to intentionally exclude her from their mother’s funeral. Vienna Shooting: Gunmen Hunted After Deadly ‘Terror’ Attack

Gunmen armed with rifles have opened fire in six different locations in central Vienna, killing two people and wounding several more, police say.

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz called it a “repulsive terror attack” and said one gunman was also killed.

Police were searching for at least one attacker who was still at large, the interior minister said.

The shootings took place near Vienna’s central synagogue but it is not yet clear if that was the target.

One of the victims was killed at the scene of the shootings while a second – a woman – died later in hospital from her wounds, Mayor Michael Ludwig said. It is believed 14 other people remain in hospital, six in a serious condition. (Read more from “Vienna Shooting: Gunmen Hunted After Deadly ‘Terror’ Attack” HERE)

Trump Campaign Predicts Absolute Landslide in Battleground States

Speaking to reporters Monday afternoon, a number of Trump campaign officials expressed overwhelming optimism President Donald Trump is going to crush former Vice President Joe Biden on Election Day. They’re on record predicting it will happen all over the map, but especially in the states that matter the most.

In Pennsylvania, if their data and predictive models are correct, it’s going to be a bloodbath.

“The Democrats are going to have somewhere in the neighborhood of a three-quarter million head start heading into tomorrow, probably more than that. What we know right now that there are 2.6 million Trump voters likely to show up tomorrow, and there are 1.5 million remaining Biden voters to show up tomorrow. Pennsylvania, in particular, is going to look on election night on an Election Day vote standpoint like the president wins in an absolute landslide. However, we know the margins he needs to win by in Pennsylvania, and that math is available to us from a turnout perspective,” Trump campaign director of battleground strategy Nick Trainer said. WATCH: Democrat Governor Requires Businesses to Conduct Contact Tracing on Customers

On Friday, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced an order requiring many businesses, such as restaurants, barber shops, tattoo parlors, entertainment establishments and recreational facilities to record names, visit times and contact information of all customers to their businesses, in order to assist the state in contact tracing for the coronavirus. Should a business not comply with this order, it could face a fine of up to $200 and a misdemeanor charge that could lead to a prison sentence for up to six months.

According to the Federalist, the order, which starts today, also scales back the maximum allowance at gatherings from 500 people to 50, discourages shouting, and extends the use of masks for daycares, schools and “similar indoor settings.”

Throughout the eight-month long saga of coronavirus, it has become obvious that many governors, including Whitmer, have been using the pandemic as an excuse to keep control over their citizens.

Will They Steal the Election? Voter Fraud Scheme Registering Dead Democrats Uncovered; ‘They Literally Stole My Vote’: Investigation Underway After Voters Claim They Received Ballots That Were Filled Out For Biden

By Townhall. Local authorities unfoiled a plot to register more than 50 people as Democrat voters in Broward County, Florida.

The Sun-Sentinel reports than an unknown individual in Columbia, South Carolina, submitted at least 54 voter applications to the Broward elections office. Many of the applications were flagged as suspicious by staff at the Broward elections office, but at least three of the applications evaded detection and were added to the voter rolls in July. Two of the three voters had passed away in June.

“This is an organized effort by someone who knew a little bit about Florida law but not a lot, and had a scheme to either undermine the Florida registration system with fake voters, or intended to vote 50 times,” Broward Elections Supervisor Pete Antonacci told the Sun-Sentinel.

While authorities say no mail-in ballots were requested or cast under the bogus registrations, the scheme exposes how easy it is to fraudulently add names to Florida’s voter rolls. Republicans have been warning about voter fraud and the increased potential for fraud as states turn to mail-in ballots. Fike said when his mail-in ballot arrived, each Democrat was already selected.

“I’m Democrat,” said Fike “I’ve always been Democrat, but I wasn’t voting that way this time.” (Read more from “‘They Literally Stole My Vote’: Investigation Underway After Voters Claim They Received Ballots That Were Filled Out in Fayette County” HERE)

Biden Campaign Preparing for Post-Election Legal Battle Over Results

The 2020 cycle may be winding to a close, but former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign is already preparing for a contracted legal battle that might stretch out well past Election Day.

In recent days, according to Politico, Biden’s campaign has begun talks with donors and allies on the financial resources that would be required to combat “prolonged, expensive legal fights,” in several pivotal swing states, especially if the race is as close as many believe.

“On one call with Biden’s Lawyers Committee … aides told attendees how quickly the campaign expected litigation to flood the courts in the hours and days after the election, contending that Biden needed donors ready to support the effort immediately,” Politico reported on Monday. Biden Campaign: ‘Under No Scenario Will Donald Trump Be Declared a Victor on Election Night’

Joe Biden’s campaign manager proclaimed on Monday that under no scenario would President Donald Trump be “declared the victor on election night.”

Jennifer O’Malley Dillon, who has led the former vice president’s campaign since the end of the Democrat primaries, told supporters during a virtual election protection briefing that Trump’s recent suggestions of declaring victory on election night if the race seemed to be going his way were improper. She argued that given the nature of voting during the novel coronavirus pandemic, it would be impossible for a victor to be determined until in-person and vote-by-mail ballots were counted—a process that could take days.

“We want to be clear with you that if he tries to do that, that will not be true,” O’Malley Dillon said. “Just declaring victory without actually having won … is really basically trying to say that COVID is over even though we know it’s not and all the evidence is saying that COVID in this country continues.”

“We want to be fundamentally clear, what we believe to be true, under no scenario will Donald Trump be declared a victor on election night,” she added. (Read more from “Biden Campaign: ‘Under No Scenario Will Donald Trump Be Declared a Victor on Election Night’” HERE)
