Trump’s Approval Rating Hits New High: ‘Best Job Approval Rating on Record’

Buoyed by blacks and independent voters, as well as urban dwellers shocked by the Black Lives Matter protest violence raging in some cities, President Trump’s approval rating has hit a new high, according to a survey heavy with minority voters.

The latest Zogby Poll just shared with Secrets had Trump’s approval at 52%. “The president has recorded his best job approval rating on record,” said pollster Jonathan Zogby.

What’s more, his approval rating among minorities was solid and, in the case of African Americans, shockingly high. Zogby said 36% of blacks approve of the president, as do 37% of Hispanics and 35% of Asians.

Approval among independent voters is also up, to 44%. And “intriguingly,” said Zogby, 23% of Democrats approve of Trump.

It was the latest to show that Trump’s approval went up during the Democratic National Convention. Rasmussen Reports had it at 51% at the end of the convention. (Read more from “Trump’s Approval Rating Hits New High: ‘Best Job Approval Rating on Record’” HERE)

Biden Looks to Break Out of the Basement After Labor Day

After months of political jokes about him hiding in his basement, Joe Biden looks set to join President Trump in returning to the campaign trail in September.

“I’m a tactile politician. I really miss being able to, you know, grab hands, shake hands, you can’t do that now. But I can, in fact, appear beyond virtually, in person, in many of these places. That’s what you’re going to be seeing after Labor Day,” the 2020 Democratic presidential nominee said Thursday.

Biden, the two-term vice president, listed Arizona, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin as likely destinations during a fundraiser hosted by the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. But he promised that any plans would adhere to local and state rules “about how many people can, in fact, assemble.”

“We’re going to do it in a way that is totally consistent with being responsible, unlike what this guy’s doing,” he said, referring to Trump’s nomination acceptance speech Thursday at the White House. (Read more from “Biden Looks to Break Out of the Basement After Labor Day” HERE)

Parents of Slain Humanitarian Worker RIP Obama Administration at RNC

Carl and Marsha Mueller — the parents of humanitarian worker Kayla Mueller, who was reported dead in 2015 after being abducted by ISIS — argued their daughter might still be alive if the Obama administration had been tougher, in their speech during the fourth and final night of the Republican National Convention.

“Let me just say this: Kayla should be here. If Donald Trump had been President when Kayla was captured, she would be here today,” Carl Mueller said in an emotional speech Thursday night.

Mueller, 26 was a humanitarian worker from Prescott, Ariz., who was abducted by the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham fighters along with her boyfriend in 2013, after leaving a Doctors Without Borders hospital in Aleppo, Syria.

“Kayla had a gift to be able to see the world through someone else’s eyes,” Marsha Mueller said Thursday night. “She became a humanitarian aid worker and when she was helping children at an orphanage in India, Kayla wrote, ‘I find God in the suffering eyes reflected in mine, if this is how you are revealed to me, this is how I will forever seek you.’”

Mueller was held prisoner by ISIS leader and founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who reportedly sexually abused and tortured her for 18-months, before blowing himself up in Oct. 2019 as U.S. Special Forces raided his compound. WATCH: Hillary Clinton Tells Joe Biden Not to Accept the Election Results If He Loses

By The Federalist. According to Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden will “eventually” win the 2020 election — or at least she believes so. In order for that to happen, however, Joe Biden must not accept the election results if things “drag out.” Specifically, Clinton thinks Biden “should not concede under any circumstances.”

“If it’s a close election — like say Biden ‘wins’ — what do you think Trump will do?” Jennifer Palmieri asked the former secretary of state and failed 2016 presidential candidate on an episode of Showtime’s “The Circus.”

Clinton suggested Republicans will try different strategies, such as “messing up absentee balloting” like she said they have done in Wisconsin (as if Hillary knows what happens in Wisconsin). “The only way they can win is by either suppressing or stopping voting or outright intimidating people into feeling that they have to go with the strong guy,” Clinton said. . .

“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances,” she concluded, “because I believe this is going to drag out, and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch, and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is.” (Read more from “WATCH: Hillary Clinton Tells Joe Biden Not to Accept the Election Results If He Loses” HERE)

Rep. Crenshaw: Hillary Clinton Telling Biden Not to Concede Is ‘Eerie’

By Fox News. The fact that Hillary Clinton urged Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden to not concede defeat on the night of the Nov. 3 election, no matter the circumstances, is “eerie,” Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, said on Wednesday.

Crenshaw, who will be addressing the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night, also told “Fox & Friends” that Clinton’s warning to the former vice president further proves that Democrats are building the narrative that if President Trump gets reelected in November, “it will be illegitimate.”

“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances,” Clinton said in an interview on Showtime’s “The Circus,” which was partly released Tuesday. “Because I think this is going to drag out, and eventually, I do believe he will win, if we don’t give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is.”

Clinton, the 2016 Democratic nominee, lost the presidential election four years ago to President Trump. An aggregate of polls by RealClearPolitics shows Biden leading Trump, a Republican, by more than 7 percentage points nationally.

But Clinton suggested the election will be “close,” accusing Republicans of trying to tamper with the results by “messing up absentee balloting” to secure a narrow advantage in the Electoral College. (Read more from “Rep. Crenshaw: Hillary Clinton Telling Biden Not to Concede Is ‘Eerie'” HERE)

Bette Midler Responds to Backlash After Calling Melania Trump an ‘Illegal Alien’ Who ‘Can’t Speak English’

Bette Midler addressed her controversial tweets about First Lady Melania Trump on Wednesday.

Midler took aim at President Donald Trump’s wife during the second night of the Republican National Convention on Tuesday. While live tweeting the First Lady’s speech, the 74-year-old entertainer called Melania an “illegal alien” who “can’t speak English” (among other jabs). While Midler was initially unapologetic, it appears she had a change of heart.

“I was wrong to make fun of her accent. America is made up people who speak with all kinds of accents, and they are all welcomed always,” the Hocus Pocus star tweeted on Wednesday.

Midler faced backlash for several tweets about the First Lady. “She can speak several words in a few languages,” the actress wrote. “Get that illegal alien off the stage!”

The singer called Melania an “awful person” who “still can’t speak English.”

Scientists Determine That the Earth’s Core Is Four-Times Younger Than Previously Thought; Evolutionary Timeline Impossible

By BGR. In a new paper published in the American Physical Society’s Physical Review Letters, researchers explain that, after experimenting with recreating the conditions of the core for years, they believe Earth’s core is quite a bit younger than previously thought. They now say that the core is likely somewhere between 1 billion and 1.3 billion years old. . .

Based on all the data they have at this point, the researchers are placing their estimate on the extreme lower end of the spectrum (1 billion to 1.3 billion years), whereas past estimates have suggested the core may be as old as over 4 billion years. Understanding the forces that formed our planet and are allowing us to maintain an existence here are obviously very important and could help us to better grasp how life could be possible on other worlds. National Science Foundations Dramatically Revise Age of Earth’s Core

By UT News. By creating conditions akin to the center of the Earth inside a laboratory chamber, researchers have improved the estimate of the age of our planet’s solid inner core, putting it at 1 billion to 1.3 billion years old. . .

The Earth’s core is made mostly of iron, with the inner core being solid and the outer core being liquid. The effectiveness of the iron in transferring heat through conduction — known as thermal conductivity — is key to determining a number of other attributes about the core, including when the inner core formed. . .

The National Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation of China supported the research. (Read more from “National Science Foundations Dramatically Revise Age of Earth’s Core” HERE)

The Mathematical Impossibility of Evolution

By Institute for Creation Research. [C]onsider a very simple putative organism composed of only 200 integrated and functioning parts, and the problem of deriving that organism by [evolution]. The system presumably must have started with only one part and then gradually built itself up over many generations into its 200-part organization. The developing organism, at each successive stage, must itself be integrated and functioning in its environment in order to survive until the next stage. Each successive stage, of course, becomes statistically less likely than the preceding one, since it is far easier for a complex system to break down than to build itself up. A four-component integrated system can more easily “mutate” (that is, somehow suddenly change) into a three-component system (or even a four-component non-functioning system) than into a five-component integrated system. If, at any step in the chain, the system mutates “downward,” then it is either destroyed altogether or else moves backward, in an evolutionary sense.

Therefore, the successful production of a 200-component functioning organism requires, at least, 200 successive, successful such “mutations,” each of which is highly unlikely. Even evolutionists recognize that true mutations are very rare, and beneficial mutations are extremely rare—not more than one out of a thousand mutations are beneficial, at the very most.

But let us give the evolutionist the benefit of every consideration. Assume that, at each mutational step, there is equally as much chance for it to be good as bad. Thus, the probability for the success of each mutation is assumed to be one out of two, or one-half. Elementary statistical theory shows that the probability of 200 successive mutations being successful is then ½ to the 200th power, or one chance out of 10 to the 60th power. The number 10 to the 60th power, if written out, would be “one” followed by sixty “zeros.” In other words, the chance that a 200-component organism could be formed by mutation and natural selection is less than one chance out of a trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion! Lest anyone think that a 200-part system is unreasonably complex, it should be noted that even a one-celled plant or animal may have millions of molecular “parts.” (Read more from “The Mathematical Impossibility of Evolution” HERE)

Evolution’s Time Problem

By Answers In Genesis. How do many scientists arrive at the age of 4½ billion years? They rely on radiometric dating, though the story is a bit more complicated than it sounds. Some rocks contain trace amounts of radioactive atoms. Those radioactive atoms decay into stable atoms over time. By knowing the decay rate and measuring the amount of both kinds of atoms in a rock, scientists can compute the amount of time it took to produce the stable atoms.

Some assumptions are involved, however. Were some of the stable atoms present in the rock to begin with? Did some of either type of atom leave or enter the rock during the time being measured for decay? To make matters worse, measuring the age of a rock by different kinds of radioactive atoms (such as uranium or rubidium) often yields very different ages. There are many examples of such discordant ages. . .

Today many scientists continue to believe in a 4½-billion-year-old earth, which evolution requires. They will continue to choose to believe that age, even though solid scientific reasons are available to doubt those dates. (Read more from “Evolution’s Time Problem” HERE)

James Comey: ‘Public Record’ Can’t Explain Why Ex-FBI Lawyer Doctored Email in Russia Inquiry

Former FBI Director James Comey admits he is worried about the criminal inquiry into the Russia investigation.

The prominent Trump critic has been on a media blitz in the week since the Senate Intelligence Committee released a report on the Trump 2016 campaign’s ties to Russia and after U.S. Attorney John Durham got his first plea deal from a former FBI lawyer. While Comey described the charge as a serious ordeal, he also downplayed the significance of the ex-lawyer’s actions as being an inexplicable anomaly, at least in terms of what is out there in the public eye. He told CNN on Tuesday that he’s not concerned about what the federal prosecutor will uncover, but rather how the Justice Department might try to politicize the findings.

“Of course I worry about anything this administration is doing, especially this notion that they need to investigate the investigators after the investigators had been investigated by everybody already,” Comey told host Anderson Cooper.

“I don’t know what they’re doing, so it’s hard for me to say,” he added. “I hope, at some point, the American people get transparency into what John Durham is doing and what he’s found, and I’m confident he’ll find the work was done in a professional way, but I just don’t know. And I’m skeptical that they will be respectful of conducting themselves like professionals.” (Read more from “James Comey: ‘Public Record’ Can’t Explain Why Ex-FBI Lawyer Doctored Email in Russia Inquiry” HERE)

Kellyanne Conway Promotes Trump as a Fighter for Female Empowerment

Outgoing White House counselor Kellyanne Conway vouched for President Trump’s commitment to empowering women, another in a long line of speeches meant to improve the incumbent’s troubled standing with female voters ahead of the Nov. 3 elections.

“For decades, he has elevated women to senior positions in business and in government. He confides in and consults us, respects our opinions, and insists that we are on equal footing with the men,” Conway said during her speech Wednesday to the Republican National Convention. “President Trump helped me shatter a barrier in the world of politics by empowering me to manage his campaign to its successful conclusion. With the help of millions of Americans, our team defied the critics, the naysayers, the conventional wisdom — and we won.”

“This is the man I know and the president we need,” Conway added. “He picks the toughest fights and tackles the most complex problems. He has stood by me, and he will stand up for you.”

Conway and several other women who validated Trump’s treatment of women during this week’s Republican convention stand in contrast to the several sexual misconduct allegations brought against him. Most of the accusations surfaced after Trump launched his presidential campaign four years ago. Down the stretch of the president’s 2016 run, an old audio tape was unearthed, during which he bragged about being able to grope women, uninvited, because he was a celebrity. Doctor Veteran Nun Calls Trump Most Pro-Life President in History (VIDEO)

Sister Deirdre Byrne has served under a wide array of diverse titles. A sister, soldier, and surgeon, the nun took on the title of a speaker at Wednesday’s Republican National Convention, where she spoke on behalf of the unborn and fulfilled a wish she prayed for.

“I must confess that I recently prayed while in chapel begging God to allow me to be a voice and instrument for human life, and now here I am, speaking at the Republican National Convention,” Byrne said. “I guess you better be careful for what you pray for.” . . .

“Humility is at the foundation of our order, which makes it very difficult to talk about myself, but I can speak about my experience working for those fleeing war towns and impoverished countries around the world. Those refugees all share a common experience. They have all been marginalized; viewed as insignificant, powerless and voiceless,” Byrne said. “And while we tend to think of the marginalize as living beyond our borders. The truth is, the largest marginalized group in the world can be found in the United States. They are the unborn.” (Read more from “Doctor Veteran Nun Calls Trump Most Pro-Life President in History” HERE)
