WATCH: Woke Media Calls Term ‘Wuhan Virus’ Racist After Using Term ‘Wuhan Virus’

President Donald Trump was criticized by liberals and left-wing media pundits for accurately identifying the novel Wuhan coronavirus as a “foreign virus” after countlessly using the term themselves.

“The president referred to the coronavirus as a ‘foreign virus,’” CNN’s Chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta said after the president’s Wednesday night address from the Oval Office. “It’s going to come across to a lot of Americans as smacking of xenophobia to use that kind of term in this speech.”

A new video montage from the Media Research Center however, illustrates a glaring double-standard employed by elites deeming it only racist to point out the origin of the Wuhan virus once done so by Republicans.

“You’re starting to hear the Republicans, especially Trump Co. calling it the ‘Wuhan’ or the ‘Chinese coronavirus.’ They’re looking for someone to blame,” Cuomo says as the start of the video followed by colleague at CNN using the exact term Cuomo denounced.

The video also features reporters from other networks using the virus’ name adopted from the site of its first outbreak. (Read more from “Woke Media Calls Term ‘Wuhan Virus’ Racist After Using Term ‘Wuhan Virus’” HERE)

Buried From Trump Tower Meeting: Translator Telling FBI ‘No Collusion’

Just days after news of the infamous Trump Tower meeting drew the attention of Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, the translator present told the FBI there was no talk of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin, according to recently released documents.

This exculpatory evidence – which backed accounts of Donald Trump Jr. and other campaign officials in attendance – was not mentioned in Special Counsel Mueller’s final report two years later. And the silence in the interim occurred as sinister theorizing on cable TV and in the press helped shape a public impression of the June 9, 2016 meeting as central to collusion.

The new documents record that on July 12, 2017, four days after the New York Times first disclosed the meeting, relying on government leaks, the FBI interviewed Anatoli Samochornov, a freelance translator with long ties to the U.S. government who had been engaged by the Russian side. Elaborating the day after its initial report, the Times used more leaks to report that Trump Jr. had agreed to the meeting because he was told that a Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, would provide damaging information on Hillary Clinton.

Whatever the suspicions raised by the Trump son’s emailed response, “If it’s what you say I love it,” the meeting didn’t live up to the billing, judging from what the translator told the FBI. Bureau notes show he told agents, “There was no discussion of the 2016 United States presidential election or Collusion between the Russian government and the Trump campaign.” The agent notes also state, “There was no smoking gun according to Samochornov. There was not a discussion about ‘dirt’ on Hillary Clinton. Samochornov did not think Hillary Clinton was mentioned by name.” (Read more from “Buried From Trump Tower Meeting: Translator Telling FBI ‘No Collusion'” HERE)

Wuhan Doctors Say Colleagues Died in Vain Amid Official Cover-Up; Chinese Official Attempts to Blame U.S. Military for Coronavirus (VIDEO)

By The Straits Time. The hospital where coronavirus whistle-blower Li Wenliang worked and died has been hit harder than any other by Covid-19 due in part to throttling of information by officials, a Caixin investigation has found.

The Central Hospital of Wuhan, where Dr Li died, has seen over 230 of its 4,000 medical staff diagnosed with Covid-19, the highest rate of infection at any hospital in Wuhan, the epicentre of the outbreak, according to data Caixin has obtained.

On Monday, ophthalmologist Zhu Heping was the fourth doctor at the hospital to succumb to the disease, following the deaths of doctors Li Wenliang, Jiang Xueqing and Mei Zhongming on Feb 7, March 1 and March 3, respectively. . .

A Central Hospital department head blamed authorities for endangering lives by spreading false information.

“The false information released by the relevant departments – claiming the disease was controllable and would not spread from human-to-human – left hundreds of doctors and nurses in the dark, doing all they could to treat patients without knowing about the epidemic,” the department head told Caixin. Chinese Official Attempts to Blame U.S. Military for Coronavirus

By NBC News. Chinese officials have sidestepped questions about whether Beijing blames Washington for the coronavirus outbreak after a foreign ministry spokesman suggested it could have been planted by the U.S. Army.

“When did patient zero begin in U.S.? How many people are infected? What are the names of the hospitals? It might be U.S. army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan,” Zhao Lijian tweeted in both Chinese and English on Thursday. “Be transparent! Make public your data! U.S. owe us an explanation!”

His post was accompanied by a video of Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, saying that some Americans who had seemingly died from influenza later tested positive for the new coronavirus.

Zhao, who was based at the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan before moving to the foreign ministry in February, is a prolific social media user; a hashtag referring to his posts was trending on the Chinese social media platform Weibo on Friday with more than 89,000 mentions. He is known for being outspoken and for his sometimes outrageous comments.

WATCH: Recent Examples of Joe Biden’s Cognitive Decline That Should Concern Us All

. . .I’ve reviewed recent Biden gaffes to compile what I believe to be the best examples of evidence of Biden’s cognitive decline. There are plenty of gaffes not included here. For example, Biden not knowing what city or state he’s in is something we’ve seen from politicians who travel a lot who we don’t suspect of having diminished mental capacity. On the incident where Biden mixed up his wife and sister, I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he simply expected them to be on the opposite sides of him than they were on. . .

It was such an awkward moment during the November debate when Joe Biden, touting his support from the African American community, noted “I have more people supporting me in the black community because they know me, they know who I am. Three former chairs of the Black Caucus, the only African American woman elected to the U.S. Senate [Carol Moseley Braun], a whole range of people,” he said. . .

Joe Biden made this embarrassing gaffe on the campaign trail in Texas after his victory in South Carolina. Not only did he forget the words to the Declaration of Independence, he apparently forgot the document he was quoting.

Most people laughed at Biden’s recent flub in St. Louis when he said, “If you want to nominate a proud Democrat, a lifelong Democrat, an O’Biden Bama Democrat, join us.”

But, really, that was not the worst part of his speech. In fact, in the video below, Biden appears to slur his way through various points of his remarks.

Trump’s Coronavirus Travel Bans Successfully Keep Hundreds out of U.S.

By Breitbart. President Trump’s travel bans on China and Iran have been critically effective in ensuring that Chinese nationals, Iranian nationals, and recent foreign travelers to each of the two countries are not allowed into the interior of the United States in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

On January 31, Trump announced a travel ban on Chinese nationals and foreign travelers who had visited China within the last 14 days. About a month later, while China failed to contain the coronavirus, Trump expanded the travel ban to include Iran, where more than 500 have died from the Wuhan, China virus.

The travel bans were issued after consultations with the nation’s leading medical experts who have said barring international travel from highly-affected regions is critical to containment in the U.S.

Newly released federal data obtained by Breitbart News reveals that between February 2 and March 12, about 237 Chinese nationals, Iranian nationals, and foreign travelers have successfully been kept from entering the U.S. through land ports of entry thanks to the travel bans.

The data does not include the number of Europeans and recent foreign travelers who will have been kept from entering the U.S. because that travel ban goes into effect on Friday, March 13. (Read more from “Trump’s Coronavirus Travel Bans Successfully Keep Hundreds out of U.S.” HERE)

Federal Ministers Announce International Travel Restrictions to Prevent Coronavirus Spread

By National Post. As the number of coronavirus patients around the world continues to climb, the federal government is clamping down with new travel restrictions and encouraging Canadians to cancel all non-essential international travel.

“My advice is to postpone or cancel all non-essential travel outside of Canada. This means reconsidering your vacations, going to sporting and entertainment events, large international conferences,” Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer, Dr Theresa Tam, said during a press conference Friday.

This is the first time that the country’s top doctor explicitly advised Canadians to cancel any form of international travel, suggesting trips within Canada instead.

“This is especially important for older adults and people with underlying medical conditions who are at a higher risk of developing severe disease”, she added. (Read more from “Federal Ministers Announce International Travel Restrictions to Prevent Coronavirus Spread” HERE)

Stocks Skyrocket as President Presents ‘All of America’ Program to Fight Coronavirus

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump unleashed a huge rally in stocks on Friday as he promised to “unleash every authority, tool, and resource” to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

The major stock indexes each recorded their best day since October 2008, when stocks rallied in response to the federal government’s plan to fight the financial crisis. The rally reversed much of the losses of the previous day, the worst single day for U.S. stocks since 1987.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1985 points to hit 23185, a rise of 9.36 percent. The S&P 500 ascended 9.29 percent. The Nasdaq Composite jumped 9.34 percent. The Russell 2000 index of smaller companies rose 7.6 percent.

The rally picked up steam as the White House event went on and several corporate leaders announced how their companies would contribute to the fight against the pandemic. Oil prices spiked higher as the president announced the U.S. would be purchasing oil for its strategic reserves. As Coronavirus Spreads, Businesses Announce Nearly 900 Layoffs and the Total Could Rise Sharply

By USA Today. The coronavirus is already forcing companies to lay off workers and the job losses are likely to mount rapidly as the global health crisis drags on.

U.S. companies have announced 893 job cuts as a result of the outbreak, according to outplacement firm Challenger, Gray and Christmas. The losses include 145 drivers at the Port of Los Angeles amid stalled shipments from China, 360 by Oyo Hotels and 250 by Christie Lites, a stage lighting company.

Canceled events led to 300 layoffs, including 175 related to the South by Southwest technology and media conference in Austin, Texas, Challenger says.

Basic Fun, a toymaker based in Boca Raton, Florida, eliminated 18 jobs. Company CEO Jay Foreman told CNBC the firm has been hit with both supply disruptions from China and reduced demand. Sanctuary County: Police Interrupt Illegal Alien Rape in Progress

Sanctuary jurisdictions like Montgomery County, Maryland, have become a magnet for MS-13 and illegal alien rapists. But unlike the coronavirus, this “epidemic” is completely avoidable.

Last summer, so many illegal alien rapists were released by sanctuary Montgomery County that it sparked a fight between DHS officials and local politicians. Acting Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Ken Cuccinelli even challenged county executive Mark Elrich to a debate and referred to the wayward county as “Loco in MOCO.”

In the latest case last Thursday, local police arrested Jose Lopez-Gonzalez, 35, an illegal alien from El Salvador, for raping a semiconscious woman in an office building stairwell in Wheaton, Maryland. WJLA’s Kevin Lewis obtained police documents describing the graphic details.

“Lopez-Gonzalez was on the top of [the victim] who was naked from the waist down,” police wrote in court documents filed late last week in Montgomery County District Court. “[The officer] advised that he initially yelled at Lopez-Gonzalez to get off [the victim] but that he had to physically pull him off her because he was still engaging in sexual intercourse.”

Lopez-Gonzalez is being held without bail after police charged him with rape and assault. Otherwise, Montgomery County police, pursuant to county policies, would likely be forced to release him without honoring the ICE detainer. That’s what happened last week in Boston when an illegal alien who was accused of raping a drunk woman in a similar incident was released onto the streets. Luckily, ICE found him before he could victimize anyone else.

According to ICE, Lopez-Gonzalez was previously deported to El Salvador in 2007 and 2010.

The lack of a fixed deterrent at the border and in the interior incentivizes these people to come back. Every day, when CBP posts reports about catching previously deported sex offenders, just remember that there are numerous others they fail to catch, and we never hear about them until they commit a crime in an American city.

ICE also told WJLA that Lopez-Gonzales is believed to be associated with MS-13, an international criminal street gang. Montgomery County has an epidemic of gang members and rapists among the illegal alien population from Central America. Last month, a 20-year-old illegal alien was arrested in Montgomery County for raping an 11-year-old girl. The suspect attended high school with girls much younger than him.

Despite the gang and crime problem from Central Americans who self-traffic across the border as unaccompanied teens, the DHS still has not shut down the resettlement of UACs. Not even the coronavirus has prompted the government to turn back UACs.

According to Maryland court records, Lopez-Gonzalez was charged for drugs in 2007 and pleaded guilty to assault and sexual assault in 2011. Clearly, when someone like this is incentivized to return twice to Montgomery County and remain such a threat to women in the community, we are not properly enforcing our immigration laws.

As grim is things look with the Wuhan coronavirus, the pandemic will eventually subside. But the criminal alien crisis fueled by sanctuary cities will not go away on its own. While we collectively engage in social distancing to pre-empt the spreading of the virus, we should be able to count on our government to engage in distancing from other countries’ criminals. Pro-Drug-Legalization Socialist Andrew Gillum Found ‘Inebriated’ by Police in Hotel Room Alleged Meth Bust

This man came within one percentage point of being the governor of the fourth-largest state. He was regarded as rising star in the Democrat Party. Now, police have caught the former Tallahassee mayor and gubernatorial candidate in a meth bust at a Florida hotel.

Earlier this morning, the Miami New Times obtained a police report alleging that Gillum, who is currently a CNN contributor, was present during a meth discovery at a Miami Beach hotel today.

According to the police report, officers responded to an emergency call in a hotel room. Officers found three men including Gillum and “attempted to speak to Mr. Gillum;” however, “Mr. Gillum was unable to communicate with officers due to his inebriated state.” They say he was vomiting in the bathroom when they entered the room to help another man in the room, who appeared to be suffering from an overdose.

Gillum issued a statement saying that he had too much to drink, but denies having taken drugs. Responding officers assert that they “observed in plain sight three small clear plastic baggies containing suspected crystal meth on both the bed and floor of the hotel room.”

Nobody is being charged criminally at this point in this incident. But hey, it’s just a prominent Democrat politician living the permissive attitude of his policy advocacy. One could disagree over the degree of sentencing we should impose on those involved with drugs, but certainly everyone should agree that the drug culture is a problem and is killing us much more than any virus. Over 12,000 Americans died in 2018 from meth overdoses, and those numbers are reoccurring every year.

Here is a video of Gillum during the 2018 Democrat primary for Florida’s gubernatorial race bragging about his stance against criminalizing drugs.

He decried the “prison-industrial complex” that is being built around marijuana, which, in his view, “provides much more redemptive use than it does harmful.” Well, what about meth? Is that redemptive as well?

This is part of a broader problem among liberals who are delegitimizing law enforcement and creating an environment of permissiveness for our youth. Gone are the stigmas against drug use at a time when we need the stigma more than ever, given that the lethality of these drugs has increased exponentially.

Last month, Keegan Jamaal Rolenc, “a policy fellow on criminal justice reform” working in the office of pro-jailbreak Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, was charged with three felonies involving narcotics and illegal possession of a firearm. This is a man who, like all jailbreakers, advocated for “second chances,” even as the system already offers multiple chances, yet people like him blow through each one.

Rolenc was convicted in 2012 of a gang-related drive-by shooting. According to Alpha News, Rolenc continued to be charged with assault and drug crimes even after serving time for the shooting, but kept receiving plea bargains, as well as concurrent and stayed sentences. So a man who benefited from a system that is too lenient became a political activist for making it even more lenient, the true embodiment of the times we are living in. Now, his very recidivist behavior, despite all the chances and political opportunities he was granted, demonstrates the case against the policies he and his friends advocate.

In January, Orlando Dennis, the husband of the chief of staff to New York state Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, was arrested for allegedly orchestrating a massive cocaine shipment at Kennedy airport. Heastie was the lead architect of New York’s “abolish bail” law, which has led to an epidemic of violent repeat offenses by known career criminals in New York.

Last month, Alex Friedmann, a famed career criminal turned “criminal justice reform” activist, was arrested in Tennessee for literally trying to cause a prison break. He allegedly planted guns and ammunition in the prison in a prison break plot that could have killed inmates along with the guards.

Just last week, I reported on a North Carolina man who was released from federal prison under the First Step Act and has been rearrested for meth trafficking. He stood on the stage with the president and railed against the policies locking up people for “nothing.”

The reality is we’re not locking up anyone for marijuana possession any more – even for marijuana trafficking. Prosecutors are focusing solely on traffickers of heavy-duty drugs like meth, heroin, and fentanyl, which are killing tens of thousands. These are also the people who are largely responsible for other violent crimes as well and have long rap sheets. Yet, the criminal-industrial complex, which is championed by politicians like Andrew Gillum, couldn’t care less. I guess we now know why. How Coronavirus Is About to Get Much Worse in the U.S.; Supply Chain Expert Tells Tucker What Coming Shortages Americans Should Know About; Up to 150 Million Americans Could Get Infected; ‘Don’t Panic’ Says U.S. Woman Who Recovered From Coronavirus

By Townhall. I’ll begin with a word on last night’s address by the president. In some respects, it was strong; it emphasized the seriousness of the crisis, repeated crucially important recommendations for best hygiene practices, and reassured anxious Americans that the federal government will act to mitigate the (negative, likely temporary) economic impact. But it also failed in several key respects. . .

The president conveyed three pieces of wrong information, either through shoddy drafting or misspeaking, that needed to be “clarified” by administration officials almost immediately. The actual policies were better and more accurate than the speech designed to relay those policies to the public. This cannot happen. Period. This makes the administration look incompetent, it looks the president look clueless and weak, and it makes it seem as though the high-stakes address was thrown together without proper vetting, which may erode public confidence in future pronouncements made by this president on highly sensitive matters. Noting these things is not an “attack” on Trump. If you’re a supporter of his, you should be angry at those who did not serve him well — a buck that ultimately stops with him.

The Wuhan Coronavirus must transcend politics because so many lives are on the line (again, see below). But even for those who cannot shake their obsession with politics, a blown response to the disease will harm the president’s re-election chances for three reasons: (1) The otherwise excellent economy will needlessly suffer for longer, (2) questions about his capacity to do the job in times of crisis will bite, and (3) the voters who sit most squarely within the health ‘danger zone,’ senior citizens, tend to be Trump supporters. Every incentive, whether humanitarian or calculatingly political, is to get this right. Spreading three strands of incorrect information in an Oval Office address is leadership malpractice and political malpractice.

Now, why did the White House’s top medical expert on the Coronavirus epidemic warn yesterday that the situation will deteriorate in the coming days and weeks? Because based on the data from other countries who are ‘ahead’ of us in the disease cycle, there are many thousands of currently-undiagnosed cases here in the United States. This is leading to the virus being transmitted by people who don’t yet feel sick, so the “official” case numbers (hampered by still wholly insufficient but finally improving testing capacities and efficiencies) are a hugely lagging indicator. The numbers are going to grow much larger. Stop reading this post, and click through to read this full analysis — especially if you consider yourself a Coronavirus “skeptic:”

. . .The entire piece is filled with detailed and sobering charts that build the case. Some experts are projecting that one-third to half of the country could eventually get infected within the current status quo — so even with “only” a one percent fatality rate (ten times worse than an average flu), that could lead to a death toll in the neighborhood of one million-plus Americans. Containment is gone. Mitigation is the key, particularly to prevent the US healthcare system from becoming overwhelmed, which is a major risk:

Supply Chain Expert Tells Tucker What Coming Shortages Americans Should Know About, and It’s Not Toilet Paper

By Daily Caller. A supply chain management expert appeared on Thursday night’s edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to explain why toilet paper shortages aren’t exactly what Americans should be looking for long-term in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic.

Daniel Stanton, the author of “Supply Chain Management for Dummies,” broke down the basics about supply chains and how they can be disrupted by events like coronavirus before explaining that “demand shocks” are what many Americans are currently experiencing with shortages of items like toilet paper, masks and hand sanitizer.

“People buying a lot more of some things than what they would normally consume and buying less of some other things, and what that does is creates what we call a bullwhip effect that gets amplified upstream in the supply chain and causes all kinds of chaos,” Stanton explained.

Stanton described these shortages as a “temporary problem” caused by “panic buying,” a situation that will be more than rectified when supplies are replenished. Other items, however, will need to be manufactured on a greater scale.

“There are other things that we are actually using more of. I think disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizers, the hospital masks. We need more of those than what we would normally consume,” he said. “For those things, we need to be increasing capacity, maybe creating some new supply chains, and in a lot of cases, we are dependent on foreign manufacturing and long-distance transportation to get those supplies.” (Read more from “Supply Chain Expert Tells Tucker What Coming Shortages Americans Should Know About, and It’s Not Toilet Paper” HERE)

Up to 150 Million Americans Could Get Coronavirus: U.S. Projection

By Yahoo. Between 70 to 150 million people in the United States could eventually be infected with the novel coronavirus, according to a projection shared with Congress, a lawmaker said Thursday.

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib made the remarks during a hearing of the House of Representatives with members of the president’s coronavirus task force, confirming earlier reports by US media outlets including Axios and NBC News.

“Congress’s attending physician told the Senate that he expects between 70 to 150 million people to eventually contract the coronavirus in the United States,” Tlaib said.

Axios had reported that doctor Brian Monahan conveyed the projection to Senate senior staff on Tuesday, telling them they should prepare for the worst and offering advice on how to remain healthy. (Read more from “Up to 150 Million Americans Could Get Coronavirus: U.S. Projection” HERE)

‘Don’t Panic’ Says U.S. Woman Who Recovered From Coronavirus

By Yahoo. An American woman who has recovered from the novel coronavirus has a simple message for people who are worried: Don’t panic — but do think about high-risk individuals and stay home if you feel ill. . .

Schneider first began experiencing flu-like symptoms on February 25, three days after going to a party that was later identified as the place where at least five other people also got infected. . .

Knowing that she would also likely be turned down for the test, she decided to enroll in a research program called the Seattle Flu Study, hoping it might provide an answer. The team behind the study sent her a nasal swab kit, which she mailed back and waited several more days. . .

By this time, her symptoms had already subsided, and she was told by local health authorities to remain at home for at least seven days after the onset of symptoms or 72 hours after they subsided. . .

“The message is don’t panic,” said Schneider. “If you think that you have it, you probably do; you should probably get tested.” (Read more from “‘Don’t Panic’ Says U.S. Woman Who Recovered From Coronavirus” HERE)

Alaska Confirms First Case of Coronavirus

Alaska has confirmed its first presumptive case of the the novel coronavirus, Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R) announced Thursday.

The case is presumptive, meaning the patient has tested positive in state-administered tests but has yet to be confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The patient is a foreign national who was traveling through the state, Dunleavy said. He is not known to have had significant contact with others in the state.

The patient is currently in quarantine in Anchorage after being discharged from the hospital. (Read more from “Alaska Confirms First Case of Coronavirus” HERE)
