When Attorney General Bill Barr issued a four page memo documenting the bottom line findings of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation on March 24, he volunteered to testify in front of the Senate and House Judiciary Committees. On April 18, he released the full Mueller report with minimal redactions.

On Wednesday, Barr completed his voluntary testimony on the Senate side and cancelled House testimony scheduled for today after Chairman Jerry Nadler changed the format.

Thursday morning Democrats, knowing Barr wouldn’t be showing up, placed a plastic chicken in his place.

Father Kills Infant Son – All Because of a Video Game

By Breitbart. According to authorities, Anthony Trice, 26, killed his infant son with a blow to the head after losing at a video game.

Trice was watching his son on Friday at their West Jefferson Street home in Louisville, Kentucky. According to the arrest citation, he began throwing his controller when he started to lose at the unspecified video game he was playing at the time.

The alleged killer then struck his infant son in the head with a closed fist, severely injuring him. Then he carried him into the kitchen to get him a bottle and dropped him onto the floor. Realizing the child was “in distress,” Trice then called 911. The baby was taken to Norton Children’s Hospital but died on Sunday evening despite the best efforts of medical personnel. Louisville Dad Accused of Hitting Infant Son in Head, Killing Him, After Losing Video Game

By Courier Journal. Anthony Trice, 26, was watching the child alone on Friday at a home in the 1100 block of West Jefferson Street when he began losing a video game and threw the controller, according to an arrest citation. . .

Trice picked up the child and walked to the kitchen to prepare a bottle when he dropped the child, court papers say Trice told detectives.

He soon realized the baby was “in distress,” police said, and called 911. The infant was taken to Norton Children’s Hospital in serious condition. He died Sunday evening.

White House Reveals Surprise Immigration Plan

The White House is dropping a longtime initiative of President Trump’s that reduces overall legal immigration levels to increase U.S. wages, a senior administration official tells the media.

Throughout 2015, 2016, and 2017, Trump routinely touted his plans to reduce the number of legal immigrants who arrive in the U.S. on a myriad of visas. Since the 1990s, when it was expanded by President George H.W. Bush, legal annual immigration levels have remained at historic highs with about 1.2 million nationals legally admitted every year.

For example, since 1980, the number of legal immigrants admitted to the U.S. every year has not dipped below 525,000 admissions. Since 1999, annual legal immigration levels have not dropped below 645,000 admissions and since 2004, the average number of legal immigrants admitted every year has not dipped below a million admissions.

Trump often touted the need for reducing legal immigration levels to “reduce poverty, increase wages, and save taxpayers billions and billions of dollars” in 2017, arguing that the current importation of more than a million legal immigrants every year “has placed substantial pressure on American workers, taxpayers, and community resources.” . . .

High levels of immigration, illegal and legal, puts downward pressure on U.S. wages while redistributing about $500 billion in wealth away from America’s working and middle class and towards employers and new arrivals, research by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine has found. Here’s the Viral Anti-Biden Parody Site That’s Outranking His Real Site on Google

Google “Joe Biden website” and one of the first non-ad results you’ll find is the link to JoeBiden.info, which is supposedly promoting “Joe Biden for President 2020” — but while you’ll certainly find information about the Democratic presidential frontrunner at the site, it’s not the kind of information the former vice president is hoping to push out to voters. That’s because JoeBiden.info is a parody site created by a self-described “closest to a libertarian” man who continues to be amazed at how many actual Biden supporters fall for the overtly anti-Biden site.

“Uncle Joe is back and ready to take a hands-on approach to America’s problems!” the parody site announces at the top of its homepage. “Joe Biden has a good feel for the American people and knows exactly what they really want deep down. He’s happy to open up and reveal himself to voters and will give a pounding to anybody who gets in his way!”

After a series of infamous photos and videos of Biden getting a bit “creepy” with people of all ages, the site highlights some winning quotes from Biden, including this gem about his former running mate: “I promise you, the president has a big stick.” And then there’s this other line about Barack Obama back in 2007: “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.” . . .

As reported by CNBC, the Biden parody site has been outranking Biden’s real campaign site for at least a couple of weeks. While not all searches for Biden will result in JoeBiden.info popping up as the first non-ad result, the searches “Biden 2020 website” and “Joe Biden info” still do (screenshots below). The search for “Joe Biden website” now pulls up CNBC’s report first, followed by the parody site second. “Biden 2020” pulls up the parody site second, just after the “Joe Biden 2020 presidential campaign” Wikipedia entry. School District Wants Teachers to Bless Muslims During Ramadan

A school district in Seattle has sent out a letter asking teachers to bless its Muslim students in Arabic during the month of Ramadan and give them preferential treatment, such as obtaining dispensations for classes and exams, reports Fox News.

In response to the letter, the religious liberty legal defense group Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund (FCDF), has threatened the Dieringer School District with a potential lawsuit for violating the conscience of its employees. FCDF alleges that the district followed edicts put forward by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) that advises schools to accommodate Muslim students by wishing them “Ramadan Mubarak” (Happy Ramadan) or “Ramadan Kareem” (Have a generous Ramadan). The edicts also instruct teachers to respect the Ramadan fast by not scheduling any tests during the holidays of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha. More from Fox News:

The defense fund claims Dieringer Superintendent Judy Martinson blindly followed the recommendations of CAIR and “enacted the letter as official district policy.” The defense fund sent Martinson a letter stating their complaints after a teacher and parent complained about the new procedure.

The May 6 letter also warned Martinson about CAIR’s anti-semitic advocacy and alleged ties to radical Islamists, which the group has long denied.

Daniel Piedra, FCDF’s executive director, said in a statement that the Seattle-area school district is violating teachers’ First Amendment rights by exerting pressure upon them to engage in religious speech with which they do not agree. Piedra argues that the district would never advise teachers to accommodate Christian students in such a similar manner. Who Is Mark Morgan? 10 Quick Facts About Trump’s New ICE Director Nominee

Over the weekend, President Donald Trump announced his new nominee to head up Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE): Former Border Patrol Chief Mark Morgan.

“I am pleased to inform all of those that believe in a strong, fair and sound Immigration Policy that Mark Morgan will be joining the Trump Administration as the head of our hard working men and women of ICE,” the president tweeted on Sunday morning. “Mark is a true believer and American Patriot. He will do a great job!”

So who is Mark Morgan? Here’s a brief rundown of the career law enforcement officer’s resume and past statements.

1. Morgan was named head of the Border Patrol during the waning months of the Obama administration. He was replaced during Trump’s first week in office with Ronald Vitiello. Vitiello was later moved up to acting ICE director; he recently stepped down.

2. Before Morgan moved over to DHS, he spent 20 years working at the FBI, where he was eventually named assistant director of the Training Division at FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C.

3. Before he went to work for the feds, Morgan served in the United States Marine Corps and the Los Angeles Police Department.

4. He was the first outsider to lead the Border Patrol since the agency’s creation in 1924.

5. He supports the idea of designating the drug cartels as terror groups under federal law: “The cartels must be targeted … with the same level of commitment and tenacity as we have against terrorist organizations.”

6. He’s also expressed concerns to Congress about the influx of unaccompanied minors that stem from his time in Obama’s Border Patrol:

As chief of the Border Patrol, I toured the detention facilities filled to capacity with unaccompanied minors, 17 years of age or younger, who had illegally entered the country. Alone, without any parents or guardians. As I looked on, I saw both hardened young men as well as vulnerable and lost youth. With every encounter, I walked away wondering how many would be lured into joining a gang. The odds were not in their favor, as they were released into a city somewhere in the U.S., never to be heard from again.

7. He also warned Congress that “We’re experiencing a crisis at the southern border at a magnitude never seen in modern times, it’s unprecedented.”

8. He sees the clear connection between the border crisis and the drug crisis: “There is no way with any degree of certainty to know the quantity of drugs entering our country because at least 50 percent of the southwest border is wide open.”

9. He sees catch-and-release policies and activist judges combined with changing migrant demographics as a key driving factors behind the current crisis.

10. He’s previously disputed the Left’s talking point that children are being kept in “cages” at the border: “They’re not cages. They’re actually really nice facilities, and there are chain-link fences within the facilities, but it’s designed so the Border Patrol agents working there can provide safety and security for the people that are there.”

Morgan will have to be confirmed by the Senate before he can start the job, and given that pressure from the political Left has forced the withdrawal of Trump’s last two picks for the Federal Reserve, only time will tell whether or not Morgan’s previous statements will sink his nomination. Rashida Tlaib’s Father Revealed Truth of Her Election Win in Resurfaced Article

In a March 11, 2010 newspaper article in The Detroit News, Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s (D-MI) father accused her of lying “big-time to get elected” by falsifying her address on an election affidavit.

Tlaib’s father, Harbi Elabed, made the accusations against Tlaib, who at the time was a freshman state-level representative from the 12th District in Detroit’s Southwest side. The newspaper article was scrubbed from the internet when The Detroit News migrated to a new website but was available in a subscription-based digital archive. The Detroit News reported:

He said his daughter misrepresented her residency when she signed an election affidavit in 2008 with the Wayne County Clerk claiming she was a citizen of Detroit.

According to that affidavit, Tlaib claimed she lived at 9123 Rathbone in Detroit. That house is owned in part by her father, Harbi Elabed, and he now says she did not live there and he was only recently made aware that she had claimed so.

“She lied,” Elabed said. “She lied big-time to get elected. I never teach her that way. I teach her the right way. It’s my house. She didn’t live there. Trump Sends ‘Clear and Unmistakable’ Message to Iran

By Daily Wire. The Trump administration is sending a carrier strike group and a bomber task force to the Middle East to send a “clear and unmistakable message” in response to “a number of troubling and escalatory indications and warnings.”

“The deployment comes less than a month after the Trump administration designated Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a terrorist organization,” Fox News reported. “The deployment also comes amid the bloodiest fighting in five years between Israel and Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip.”

“In response to a number of troubling and escalatory indications and warnings, the United States is deploying the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and a bomber task force to the U.S. Central Command region to send a clear and unmistakable message to the Iranian regime that any attack on United States interests or on those of our allies will be met with unrelenting force,” Bolton said. “The United States is not seeking war with the Iranian regime, but we are fully prepared to respond to any attack, whether by proxy, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or regular Iranian forces.”

Former Israeli national security adviser Yaakov Amidror said on Sunday that Iran was behind the increasing escalation in Gaza.

“What made Friday’s shooting on the IDF patrol interesting, Amidror said, was that it took place precisely when Hamas and Islamic Jihad leaders were in Cairo putting the finishing touches on an agreement drawn up by Egypt that was designed to ease the tension in the South,” The Jerusalem Post reported. “But while its leaders were in Cairo, Islamic Jihad fired on the soldiers. The latest move continues to ratchet up tensions between Washington and Tehran. Last month, in a bid to put further pressure on the Iranian government, the Trump administration announced that it would stop providing waivers to countries that import Iranian oil. Also last month, the U.S. designated Iran’s Revolutionary Guard a foreign terrorist organization. Nunes and Fox News Commentator Suggest That the Entire Trump-Russian Collusion Lie May Have Been Initiated by FBI or the CIA

Representative Devin Nunes, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, was interviewed yesterday about the mysterious “Professor Joseph Mifsud”, a Maltese national who was the supposed catalyst to the Trump-Russian collusion probe. Since the collusion story broke, no one has seen Misfud publicly.

Apparently suspecting FBI or CIA involvement from the beginning, Nunes demanded that by May 10, the agencies disclose exactly who employed Mifsud and further requested all recordings of volunteer Trump advisor George Papadopoulos’ conversations with him:

“If the FBI does in fact have transcripts of Papadopoulos talking to anyone … I think Congress, and the American people, have a right to know this because in fact we paid for it, and we had to deal with this for two and a half years. We had to suffer through this,” he told Fox correspondent Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Papadopoulos has said that Misfud is who originally told him that the Russians had emails from Hillary that could damage her presidential campaign.

Nunes also hammered Mueller for “cherry-picking” information about Misfud and ignoring his obvious connections to U.S. intelligence agencies: “They pick a news story, and then they cherry-pick from it. So, they use it partly to describe where Mifsud worked. But then they fail to say in that same story that they have given support to by using it in the Mueller dossier. . . They cherry pick it and they don’t use that Mifsud was described as a Western intelligence asset. . . How is it that we spent $30-plus million on [the Mueller report] as taxpayers. Yeah. And they can’t even tell us who Joseph Mifsud is… we’re getting to the bottom of this.”

Democrat Accidentally Admits Why They’re Really Seeking to Impeach Trump — and It’s on Video

By The Blaze. Allies of President Donald Trump are highlighting a statement from a Democratic member of Congress that they say reveals the true motivation behind the calls to have the president impeached.

Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) was defending his support for impeachment despite the practical political implications of such a controversial act by Congress, when he revealed the reasoning behind his advocacy.

“I’m concerned that if we don’t impeach this president, he will get re-elected,” said Green on MSNBC. “If we don’t impeach him, he will say he’s been vindicated.

“He will say the Democrats had an overwhelming majority in the House and didn’t take up impeachment,” he continued. “He will say we have a constitutional duty to do it if it was there and we didn’t. He will say he’s been vindicated.”

The comments made such a stir that the president responded from his Twitter account on Monday.

Julian Castro Renews Call for President’s Impeachment After Ex-Prosecutors Claim Trump Obstructed Justice

By Fox News. 2020 presidential candidate Julian Castro once again urged the House of Representatives on Monday to move forward with impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

Castro, a Democrat who served as mayor of San Antonio, Texas, before joining then-President Obama’s administration as Housing and Urban Development secretary, made his case hours after the release of a statement by hundreds of former federal prosecutors claiming Special Counsel Robert Mueller would have recommended indicting Trump for obstruction of justice if Trump weren’t president.

“The fact that you’d have almost 400 former federal prosecutors say that anybody else would have been charged with several felony counts for obstruction of justice, that says something,” Castro told Fox News on Monday.
