Left-Wing Organizations Opposing The SAVE Act Received More Than $150 Million From Soros Groups: Analysis

More than 40 left-wing organizations (and/or some of their affiliates) opposing Republican efforts to prevent noncitizen voting in U.S. elections have collectively received more than $150 million from groups funded by leftist billionaire George Soros, a new analysis reveals.

On March 28, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights (LCCHR) released a letter directed at members of Congress, asking them to oppose the GOP-sponsored SAVE Act, which aims to close existing loopholes in federal law that foreign nationals could exploit to register and cast ballots in U.S. elections. As described by InfluenceWatch, LCCHR “serves as an umbrella organization for over 200 mostly left-wing organizations which lobby and advocate before Congress and other federal agencies on legislation and Presidential appointments to the executive departments and judiciary.”

The 112 left-wing organizations that signed onto the aforementioned letter “strongly” urged congressional representatives to “oppose” the SAVE Act, which they falsely claimed, “represents a shameful, divisive attempt to prevent millions of eligible U.S. citizens — disproportionately Latinos, Asian Americans, Native Americans, and other voters of color — from registering to vote.” The groups specifically parroted faux Democrat talking points that basic voting safeguards such as documentary proof of citizenship requirements are “onerous,” “harmful,” and “designed to restrict participation by lawfully registered voters.”

“The SAVE Act perpetuates a particularly heinous version of the voter fraud myth and, like other lies that provide the predicate for voter suppression while claiming to pursue ‘election integrity,’ is a solution in search of a problem that cynically trades on dangerous myths and stereotypes,” the letter reads. “This bill is based on misinformation that exploits the demographic fear stoked by those afraid of the fully inclusive, multiracial democracy the United States can and must become, and it erects a significant, unnecessary barrier to the ballot for many citizen voters.”

While the groups attempt to market their activism as a good-faith effort to defend so-called “civil and human rights,” a deep dive into their financial backgrounds suggests their interests are far more partisan than they let on. ‘No Penalties’: Facebook Calls End to ‘Fact-Checking’ That Was Used to Censor Conservatives

Meta will shutter its fact-checking program across Facebook, Instagram and Threads on Monday, marking a major shift in the company’s content moderation strategy.

The announcement follows a January pledge by CEO Mark Zuckerberg to dial back censorship and restore “free speech” on Meta-owned platforms. Going forward, Meta will adopt a system modeled after X’s “Community Notes,” allowing users to affix context to posts with no penalties or content suppression — effectively ending the era of third-party fact-checkers rating and flagging information.

“By Monday afternoon, our fact-checking program in the US will be officially over,” Joel Kaplan, chief global affairs officer at Meta, wrote on X. “That means no new fact checks and no fact checkers. We announced in January we’d be winding down the program & removing penalties. In place of fact checks, the first Community Notes will start appearing gradually across Facebook, Threads & Instagram, with no penalties attached.”

The program’s demise comes after mounting backlash from conservatives who long accused Meta’s third-party fact-checking partners — including groups like PolitiFact and Lead Stories — of ideological bias and collusion with government agencies to suppress dissenting views. While Meta maintains those fact checkers operated independently, critics pointed to repeated incidents involving censorship of stories related to COVID-19, Hunter Biden’s laptop and election integrity.

Zuckerberg’s move to replace the fact-checking framework with Community Notes signals a significant break from the previous model. Similar to X’s system, Meta’s new feature allows verified users to write “notes” adding context to posts, which are then rated for helpfulness by a broader pool of users. If deemed useful by ideologically diverse raters, the note is published. (Read more from “‘No Penalties’: Facebook Calls End to ‘Fact-Checking’ That Was Used to Censor Conservatives” HERE)

‘Most Likely Ended My Career’: Disc Golfer Who Protested Trans Competitor Says She Has No Regrets

The professional disc golf athlete who walked off the course during a Nashville competition on Friday over her concerns about a trans-identifying male player told The Daily Wire she was warned against speaking out.

When Abigail Wilson stepped up to compete at the Disc Golf Pro Tour’s Music City Open on Friday morning, she cocked her arm back to throw, but then suddenly lowered her disc, turned around, and walked away from the tee area.

“Females must be protected in our division,” Wilson said as she walked away. “This is unfair. I refuse to play.”

She told The Daily Wire after the competition that she had raised concerns a day earlier, and was reprimanded for misgendering her competition. The trans-identifying male disc golfer, Natalie Ryan, was set to play at the same tee time as Wilson in the women’s division. Ryan has sparked controversy since at least 2022 when he defeated the world’s number one ranked female competitor, Kristin Tattar.

Wilson said this made her anxious because she had heard protests were planned against the trans-identifying player, and last year, a terrorism threat against the same player caused the Music City Open to be temporarily suspended. Wilson played in last year’s event as well. (Read more from “‘Most Likely Ended My Career’: Disc Golfer Who Protested Trans Competitor Says She Has No Regrets” HERE)

This One Quality Makes Trump a Dire Threat to the Deep State, Reagan Veteran Says

Don Devine is proud that The Washington Post once attacked him as President Ronald Reagan’s “terrible swift sword of the civil service,” but even he is blown away by the muscular reforms of the Trump administration.

That doesn’t stop him from giving advice on how to slay the deep state leviathan, however.

Devine, who served as the second director of the Office of Personnel Management under Reagan from 1981 to 1985, warned that public-sector unions will always oppose efforts to bring the administrative state to heel, so any conservative will have to take on these issues with steely resolve.

“They’re going to be fighting you no matter what you do,” Devine told The Daily Signal. “The unions in the government, which shouldn’t even be there … The unions, that’s their job, all right? If you do anything, they’re going to go to the courts after you.”

“So, what’s the answer? You got to do it anyway, you got to fight them,” he explained.

Public-sector unions, who represent federal government employees, have filed multiple lawsuits to block President Donald Trump’s reforms on everything from DOGE getting access to federal data to the firing of probationary employees to the removal of collective bargaining privileges.

Trump has just the stomach to face this threat, however, Devine said. (Read more from “This One Quality Makes Trump a Dire Threat to the Deep State, Reagan Veteran Says” HERE)

Jobs Crush Expectations: 228,000 Added in March as Trump Economy Defies Critics

Employers in the United States added 228,000 workers to their payrolls in March, the Department of Labor said Friday, and the unemployment rate inched up to 4.2 percent.

Economists had been expecting just 140,000 jobs would be added in March. The climb in the unemployment rate was expected.

The private sector’s hiring was much stronger than expected. Economists had forecast 115,000 jobs. Businesses added 209,000 jobs. (Read more from “Jobs Crush Expectations: 228,000 Added in March as Trump Economy Defies Critics” HERE)

Mike Pence Attacked Slamming Trump for Destroying “America’s Golden Age” — Wins Liberal Courage Award

. . .Pence is trending again today for his strident criticism of Trump’s second term economic actions, attacking the President’s “liberation day” tariffs as part of an agenda that is “spoiling America’s Golden Age.” Pence is again being praised by Democrats for his courage and iconoclasm amidst the MAGA policy deluge.

Pence derided the tariffs as “the largest peacetime tax hike in U.S. history.” He simultaneously sought to separate them from the smaller tariffs he supported during Trump 1.0, saying: “These Tariffs are nearly 10x the size of those imposed during the Trump-Pence Administration and will cost American families over $3,500 per year.”

Yet in response, Pence is being subjected to evidence of his long history as a Trump partner and enabler. Multiple commenters — from both sides of the aisle — are noting that Pence once supported Trump’s reciprocal tariffs, making his current stance self-serving and hypocritical.

Popular conservative social media account MAZE noted that Pence “literally spent a year going around the country arguing in favor of Trump’s tariff policies” — and shared video below showing Pence in action.

Dear President Trump

President Trump needs to bite his tongue. Please. We know, after what he has gone through, it is hard to do that. He is not doing himself, his supporters, or the country any favors. Because his opponents have made so many reckless statements, and are themselves guilty of lying, when he is worthy of criticism, his friends must do it. And he had better listen. History is full of great leaders who went sideways.

We understand that the rule of law has been punctured by the enemies of liberty. They did this through the use of “lawfare”, the January 6 Committee and their control of the mainstream media. We know that they lied to us about Covid. About the Russia Hoax. We know that Biden was a puppet, possibly with Obama somehow fulfilling his fantasy about a Third Term.

A planted earpiece in Biden’s head may actually have been used, and at least some of his confused answers might have occurred because of dictated narratives going on inside his head. If this did not actually occur, no one doubts that the technology exists.

But the will of the Left to do something existed. By the middle of Biden’s term, even the most ardent supporters of the Democratic Party knew that Biden was not in charge.

We might be headed for civil war with all the violence the Left is allowed to get away with, starting with “The Summer of Love” and the “mostly peaceful” riots in 2020. We see this now with the Tesla Torchings. But Trump is not helping the cause of freedom by shooting off his mouth in so many ways, just like many congressional Democrats have been doing.

Yes, the Constitution has been violated since its beginning in 1789. Both the Left and the Right tolerate it when their side is doing so, and the Left and the Right has existed, only under different names, ever since the start of our independence. Trump’s supporters are largely ignorant of what is, and is not, “constitutional”. Things that were violated long ago have become accepted as legal when they actually are not. These create a springboard for subsequent violations, and he has already crossed several lines.

The latest one is quite serious: the talk about a Third Term. He will lose his best supporters by suggesting that he might try for a 3rd term. I have read through the micro-parsing of words in the 22nd amendment by those who believe that a technical loophole exists. Only lawyers would salivate over this, which is why there are so many scornful lawyer jokes.

The Left for decades has used constitutional technicalities to claim that the vicious and discredited Equal Rights Amendment is still up for grabs. For conservatives to suggest such magical nonsense about a 3rd term would forever forfeit the moral high ground about constitutionality.

Imagine if Obama had tried to do this in 2016! The entire Republican Party and its conservative allies would have been screeching to the high heavens, as would have many Democrats. Many Democrats dumped FDR and voted for Republican Wendell Willkie in 1940 on those grounds alone, when no 22nd Amendment existed, but rather a hallowed, unwritten law of tradition about third terms. Grant and Teddy Roosevelt had tried, and been whacked down. The people made it clear enough to ensconce it into the Constitution in 1951, so any verbal loophole will sour Trump with his own friends.

Trump is floating a “trial balloon”. If we do not voice our displeasure, and right away, in every state, in every conservative blog large or small, he will see it as a green light.

We all know that Trump is reckless with talk, but it is through his actions that we have supported him. Personally, I don’t like his talk about either Greenland or Canada, but during his time as president-elect, it produced some initially favorable results. But we still at least like to pretend that we obey the Constitution. He might have said something more constitutional, as in “When I am sworn in, I will ask Congress to invite Greenland and part of Canada to join the United States.”

As I write this, Congress is making a bi-partisan effort to reclaim their power to control tariffs. It is a power that was yielded to the executive in a decidedly and unconstitutional manner. And it is truly bi-partisan. Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski are RINOs, but Rand Paul and Chuck Grassley are solid, proven and principled conservatives, and they can see the consequences for playing fast and loose with the rules.

Mr. President, closing up NATO, flipping off the EU and the UN, the alphabet agencies in our own government, ending the trade disadvantages that NAFTA and GATT created in 1994 by a lame duck Congress, stopping the weaponization of justice, attacking the madness of transgenderism and abortion, are all great strides you have made. But not everything you do is good, nor constitutional. No winning streak lasts forever. Even the 1927 Yankees could not win every game.

You will squander your momentum unless you make the corrections, not the ones your enemies want to see — but your supporters.

Deal To Get TikTok Out Of CCP’s Hands Exploded After ‘Liberation Day’ Tariffs: Source

The Trump administration had a deal in place earlier this week to finalize the sale of TikTok, but the agreement fell apart after the massive tariffs announced by President Donald Trump on Wednesday took effect, according to a source familiar with the matter.

After several months of negotiations involving ByteDance, prospective buyers and Vice President J.D. Vance, a deal had been reached as of Wednesday that would have seen TikTok’s American operations spun off into a new U.S.-based entity owned by a majority of American investors, the source told the Daily Caller News Foundation. However, by Friday, the deal had fallen apart because TikTok came to believe that Chinese regulators would not sign off on the agreement in the absence of further trade negotiations pertaining to the tariffs the Trump administration slapped on China on Wednesday afternoon, according to the source.

The scuttled deal had the buy-in of existing and new investors, the federal government and ByteDance itself, according to the source familiar.

Trump extended the window for a deal to be made by 75 days via executive action on Friday, just one day before an initial 75 day extension period was set to expire on Saturday. The popular social media app was to be banned in the U.S. unless it could be sold to non-Chinese buyers under the terms of a law signed by former President Joe Biden in 2024. Concerns that the app is actually controlled by or accessible to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) motivated lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to move against ByteDance. 65K North Carolina Voters Must Prove Identity Or Have Ballots Thrown Out In Supreme Court Race

An appeals court in North Carolina is requiring more than 65,000 voters in the hotly contested state Supreme Court race to provide proof of identity in order for their votes to be counted. The ruling could potentially swing the outcome of the race in favor of Republican candidate Judge Jefferson Griffin.

The Friday decision was a win for Griffin, who challenged more than 60,000 ballots because the voters had not provided either a driver’s license or the last four digits of a Social Security Number upon registering, as required in North Carolina.

“The post-election protest process preserves the fundamental right to vote in free elections ‘on equal terms,’” the 2-1 majority opinion states. “This right is violated when ‘votes are not accurately counted [because] [unlawful] [ ] ballots are included in the election results.’ … The inclusion of even one unlawful ballot in a vote total dilutes the lawful votes and ‘effectively “disenfranchises”’ lawful voters” (brackets original).

This contest is the last statewide race to be decided in the country from the Nov. 5 election. On election night, Griffin was beating incumbent Democrat Justice Allison Riggs by about 10,000 votes. Over the next nine days, votes started trickling in that eventually swung the total in Riggs’ favor by 734 votes.

The Democrat-run North Carolina State Board of Elections has been trying to fast-track the certification of Riggs in this election, but the state Supreme Court has been blocking its ability to do so since Jan. 7.
