1-In-4 Military Sex-Assault Claims False

. . .A new compilation of statistics based on actual cases in the U.S. military found as many as 26 percent of allegations are false.

The issue has been in the headlines in recent weeks because of Christine Ford’s claim that now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh assaulted her when both were in their high school 36 years ago.

In a 50-48 vote to confirm Kavanaugh, only one Democrat supported him.

“We are very fortunate that the waves of bizarre accusations against Brett Kavanaugh did not kill his nomination to the Supreme Court,” said Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness. “But the verbal assault could have worked to achieve that result.”

The report explains the categories do not include instances in which the victim declined to participate in a prosecution or the statute of limitations had expired. (Read more from “1-In-4 Military Sex-Assault Claims False” HERE)

Democratic Fundraiser Says America Is Racist and Sexist, ‘F–K the Bible Voters’

Democrats are hoping to make gains in Republican-leaning congressional districts by running moderates with biographies that appeal to center-right voters including veterans, gun owners, and football players, and in doing so have distanced themselves from the far-left of the Democratic Party. Yet despite packaging themselves as reasonable centrists, Democrats running in Texas and Kentucky are teaming up with a motivational speaker who has a history of hostile rhetoric and negative views of middle America.

Retired Lt. Col. Amy McGrath and former Tennessee Titans linebacker Colin Allred are running in Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District and Texas’ 32nd District, respectively. Both candidates have been campaigning as centrists, and neither have endorsed extreme positions like, for example, abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement. But despite their carefully crafted images, they have been working with far-left-wing activist and motivational speaker Laura Gassner Otting.

According to her website, Otting is a professional motivational speaker who “helps innovators, idealists, and critics get ‘unstuck’ in their thinking.” Before becoming a motivational speaker, she was a political appointee for the Bill Clinton White House and then worked for several nonprofits.

Since Trump’s election, Otting has had several public Facebook posts where she commented about voters who didn’t support Hillary Clinton. “F**k white males” and “F**k bible voters,” she wrote in one August 2017 post.

The day after Trump won the 2016 election, she wrote, “Who knew that America was even more sexist than it was racist? And jeez, is it racist.” (Read more from “Democratic Fundraiser Says America Is Racist and Sexist, ‘F–K the Bible Voters'” HERE)

Democrats Have Become a Dangerous Threat to Our Institutions

When modern Democrats talk about preseving “norms,” traditions,” or even the “Constitution,” they’re really talking about preserving their preferred policies. We know this because “liberals” have shown themselves not only willing to destroy the legitimacy of institutions like the presidency, the Senate ,and Supreme Court to protect those policies, they’re willing to break down basic norms of civility, as well.

Take the example of Hillary Clinton. In the very first sentence in her new scaremongering essay, which makes the case that America’s “democratic institutions and traditions are under siege,” she attacks our democratic institutions and traditions. “It’s been nearly two years since Donald Trump won enough Electoral College votes to become president of the United States,” the piece begins.

The intimation, of course, widely shared by the mainstream left, is that Trump isn’t a legitimate president even though he won the election in the exact same way every other president in U.S. history has ever won election. According to our long-held democratic institutions and traditions, you become president through the Electoral College, not the non-existent popular vote.

So when Clinton, or writers at Vox, or The Atlantic, or Politico, or new liberal favorite Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, say it’s “well past time we eliminate the Electoral College, a shadow of slavery’s power on America today that undermines our nation as a democratic republic,” you’re either tragically ignorant about our system or cynically delegitimizing it. Or maybe it’s both.

The Electoral College isn’t ornamental; it exists to undercut the tyranny of direct democracy and ensure the entire nation is represented in national elections. When you attack it, you’re not condemning Trump, you are, in a very palpable way, attacking a core idea that girds much of our governance. New Poll Shows What Americans Thought of Democrats Smearing Kavanaugh, and It’s Stunning

By The Blaze. A stunning new poll asking Americans what they thought about how Brett Kavanaugh was treated in the confirmation process has a stunning result for Democrats. . .

Among the crucial election demographic of independents, Democrats are underwater by a 28 percentage point margin.

While 30 percent of independents approved of how Democrats handled the nomination, a whopping 58 percent said they disapproved.

The CNN/SSRS poll was released Monday just head of Kavanaugh being sworn in to the Supreme Court.

Independents are key indicators of elections because while those identified with either party generally vote according to their identification, independents are seen as swing votes that can decided an election. Independents Disapprove of Democrats’ Handling of the Brett Kavanaugh Nomination by a 28-Point Margin

By The Washington Examiner. After a blistering confirmation battle, Justice Brett Kavanaugh will take his seat for oral arguments on the U.S. Supreme Court with a skeptical public, a majority of which opposed his nomination. However, Democrats may not be able to exploit this fact in the upcoming elections as much as they hope, because the independent voters overwhelmingly disapprove of their own handling of the nomination by a 28-point margin, a new CNN/SSRS poll finds.

Overall, just 41 percent of those polled said they wanted to see Kavanaugh confirmed, compared to 51 percent who said they opposed his confirmation. In previous CNN polls dating back to Robert Bork in 1987, no nominee has been more deeply underwater.

What’s interesting, however, is even though Democrats on the surface would seem to have public opinion on their side, just 36 percent approved of how they handled the nomination, compared to 56 percent who disapproved. (Republicans were at 55 percent disapproval and 35 percent approval). A further breakdown finds that 58 percent of independents disapproved of the way the Democrats handled the nomination — compared to 30 percent who approved. (Independents also disapproved of Republicans handling of the matter, but by a narrower 53 percent to 32 percent margin). Pence Left an NFL Game Last Year After Players Protested the Anthem. It Cost Taxpayers Dearly.

Vice President Mike Pence made headlines last year when he abruptly left an NFL game in Indianapolis after several players kneeled during the national anthem, a demonstration to protest police brutality. . .

During a matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts on Oct. 8, 2017, several players for the 49ers kneeled during the playing of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” As a result, Pence abruptly left the game.

According to heavily redacted Homeland Security documents, the trip cost taxpayers an estimated $325,000, HuffPost reported. The costs include operating Air Force 2, Pence’s Secret Service detail, hotels, and other logistical and security measures.

As the Washington Post reported last year, the trip cost taxpayers $250,000 alone just to operate Air Force 2, which costs about $43,000 per flight hour. Meanwhile, the documents showed taxpayers paid $64,637.88 for hotel rooms for Pence’s security detail.

An additional $8,877.91 was noted on a document titled, “LRC Air/Rail Detail Report by Project Code.” According to HuffPost, the expenditure is most likely related to travel expenses. Yet another $2,368 was spent to deploy temporary walkways in downtown Indianapolis, the documents showed. (Read more from “Pence Left an NFL Game Last Year After Players Protested the Anthem. Whoa, Buddy: Special Education Teacher Tweets About ‘Killing Kavanaugh’

By Townhall. A special education teacher in Minnesota on Monday was put on paid administrative leave following a controversial tweet about killing now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. . .

The teacher is question is Samantha Ness, who works at Alliance Education Center in Rosemount, Minnesota. According to the staff directory, Ness works the district’s Students With Unique Needs (SUN) program. The program works with students with autism spectrum disorders, developmental cognitive disabilities, and emotional behavior disorders, Alpha News reported.

Kavanaugh Supporters Celebrate, Spark Social Media Outrage With beers4brett Hashtag

By USA Today. Supporters of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh are raising glasses on social media under a #Beers4Brett hashtag to congratulate the self-described beer lover on his hard-fought confirmation.

Even Texas Sen. John Cornyn, a Republican member of the Senate Judiciary Committee got in on the act, sharing a photo of a champagne flute in a tweet reading, “Not quite #Beers4Brett but #Bubbly4Brett instead.”

Many decried the celebration as being in poor taste given that Kavanaugh’s confirmation fight centered on psychology professor Christine Blasey Ford’s accusation that he sexually assaulted her in 1982 when they were in high school. Ford claimed Kavanaugh was drunk during the alleged assault.

Uh Oh: Maxine Waters May Find Herself in Hot Water Over Fundraising Practices

The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC), a conservative watchdog group, on Monday filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) accusing Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) of violating federal election laws earlier this year.

According to the NLPC, Waters’ campaign sent out a “slate mailer” that included former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa who was running for Governor in the Democratic primary. Villaraigoa’s campaign agreed to pay a $25,000 fee for the mailer. NLPC says Villaraigosa failed to pay for the mailer but a group called “Families and Teachers for Antonio” paid the fee.

“Whereas candidates like Villaraigosa may legally pay Waters’ campaign for the proportional costs of their inclusion on her slate mailer, it is not legal for such payment to be made by a third party like ‘Families and Teachers for Antonio,'” NPLC alleges.

NLPC filed a similar complaint with the FEC for another “slate mailer” which was part of the 2016 election. The watchdog group says Waters’ campaign accepted $35,000 from the Democratic State Central Committee of California (DSCCC) to include then-Senate candidate Kamala Harris. . .

According to the FEC’s 2004 advisory opinion, payments from other candidates “would not constitute support of, or in-kind contributions to, any federal candidate appearing in the brochure, so long as the authorized committee of that federal candidate reimburses the Waters Committee.” (Read more from “Uh Oh: Maxine Waters May Find Herself in Hot Water Over Fundraising Practices” HERE)

The Odd Story About Christine Blasey Ford’s Second Front Door That Triggered the Kavanaugh Allegation

By Townhall. The sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh all were lacking evidence and corroborating witnesses. It was a horrid window into how the Left views due process and the presumption of innocence. In short, it’s lacking in their world. It’s all guided by identity politics and the cuckoo notion that women are incapable of lying. The first allegation lobbed by Christine Blasey Ford, where she says a drunken 17-year-old Kavanaugh tried to rape her at a high school party, was handwritten in a letter to Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s (D-CA) office, where it sat for weeks. Feinstein didn’t disclose it to anyone, not even her Senate colleagues until the last minute, which set off this clown show. In all probability, the Democrats leaked the letter and weaponized this woman’s allegation. There’s not a shred of evidence to confirm this—and Ford can’t remember key details. She doesn’t know who organized the party, whose house it was in, how she got there, or who drove her home after the alleged attack. Years later, when doing a home renovation, an argument over a door brought out the story in couple’s therapy in 2012. Yet, Paul Sperry of Real Clear Investigations noted something odd about this part of Ford’s testimony before Congress, namely that the timeline doesn’t match up. Renovation Records Undercut Ford’s Exit-Door Account

By Real Clear Investigations. Real estate and other records undercut a key part of Christine Blasey Ford’s account of why she finally came forward with charges of attempted rape against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh after some 30 years.

Ford testified last week that she had never revealed the details of the alleged attack until 2012, when she was in couples therapy with her husband. She said the memories percolated up as they revisited a disagreement they’d had over her insistence on installing a “second front door” when they had remodeled their Palo Alto, Calif., home.

The need to explain a decision her husband “didn’t understand,” Ford testified, pushed her to say she wanted the door to alleviate symptoms of “claustrophobia” and “panic attacks” she still suffered from an attempted rape allegedly perpetrated by Kavanaugh in high school during the early 1980s.

“Is that the reason for the second door — front door — is claustrophobia?” asked Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee. “Correct,” Ford replied. . .

But documents reveal the door was installed years before as part of an addition, and has been used by renters and even a marriage counseling business. (Read more from “Renovation Records Undercut Ford’s Exit-Door Account” HERE)

GOP Senator Reveals the Gruesome Text Message His Wife Received After He Voted to Confirm Kavanaugh

By The Blaze. Republican Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) knew the left was angry about Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation. But unfortunately, he learned first-hand on Saturday just how angry Democrats are.

Gardner revealed to Fox News Sunday that after he voted to confirm Kavanaugh, his wife received a graphic text message with a video depicting a beheading. Additionally, he said his family was doxxed and some of their personal information was made public. . .

Gardner’s press secretary, Casey Contres, confirmed the reporting to the Daily Caller News Foundation. Contres added that Gardner’s office may provide additional details on the threat at a later time.

It wasn’t immediately clear if there were any suspects, or if law enforcement knew the source of the disturbing message.

As Fox News noted, Gardner voiced his support for Kavanaugh in July after President Donald Trump nominated him. Gardner reiterated his support for Kavanaugh after the FBI concluded its “supplemental” investigation into Kavanaugh’s background last week. Sen. Cory Gardner Reveals Wife Received Graphic Text of Beheading After Kavanaugh Vote

By Fox News. In the wake of his vote to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh on Saturday, Republican Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., revealed to Fox News on Sunday that his wife had received a graphic text message with a video depicting a beheading, and that someone has publicly posted the names and addresses of his family members.

Gardner announced his support for Kavanaugh in July, and reaffirmed it after reviewing the supplemental FBI report into uncorroborated sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Late last month, Gardner received a letter from an anonymous individual apparently in Denver, alleging that Kavanaugh had “shoved” someone up against a wall “very aggressively and sexually” during an outing in 1998 in front of four witnesses. The allegation was later deemed not to be credible.

“Every victim of abuse, assault, and violence has been through an unspeakable tragedy and we need to do a better job listening to them, ensuring support is available, and fighting to end abuse of any kind,” Gardner said in a statement prior to receiving the graphic text messages. “I hope that the partisan divide we all feel today does not hinder the people that have bravely come forward.”

Kavanaugh, his wife Ashley, and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford have also all received numerous death threats in recent days. (Read more from “Sen. Cory Gardner Reveals Wife Received Graphic Text of Beheading After Kavanaugh Vote” HERE)
