Karoline Leavitt Unleashes On ‘Disgraceful’ Dems, Corporate Media Over Their Antics Responding To Trump’s Address

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt condemned the Democrats and corporate media’s antics Wednesday as they lamented every aspect of President Donald Trump’s address to Congress.

Many Democratic lawmakers did not stand or applaud the special guests who appeared at the address, including a 13-year-old boy battling brain cancer and a high school athlete who suffered brain damage after competing against a transgender-identifying male. Leavitt condemned Democrats and the corporate media over their criticisms of the address and for their lack of sympathy toward the special guests.

“The behavior of Democrats last night was completely disgraceful and demonstrated how severely how out of touch they are with the American public,” Leavitt said. “It was the most shameful moment in the history of presidential addresses in that beautiful chamber. And what was supposed to be a unifying moment for our country, Democrat members of Congress instead screamed at the president of the United States, who was just overwhelmingly reelected by their constituents, walked out of the chamber and worst of all, they disrespected the American people. Democrats didn’t stand to keep men out of women’s sports, they couldn’t even clap for a girl who got her head smashed in by a man on a volleyball court. Democrats didn’t stand for an innocent and beautiful child who is surviving brain cancer.”

“They opposed eliminating taxes on tips and social security. They didn’t stand for cutting taxes of hardworking Americans, they couldn’t even clap for two mothers whose daughters were killed by illegal aliens,” the press secretary continued. “One of the only things that could get Democrats off their feet last night was cheering for Ukraine, not for America.” (Read more from “Karoline Leavitt Unleashes On ‘Disgraceful’ Dems, Corporate Media Over Their Antics Responding To Trump’s Address” HERE)

Trump Brings Mother of Slain Child to Tears With Executive Order

President Donald Trump brought the mother of a child believed to have been killed by illegal immigrants to tears Tuesday night during his speech to a joint session of Congress.

Alexis Nungray lost her 12-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, on June 17, 2024. Two illegal aliens from Venezuela allegedly lured Jocelyn under a bridge near her home in Houston and, according to court documents, “took her pants off, tied her up, and killed her, then threw her body into the bayou.” The two have been arrested and charged in connection with the crime.

“Alexis, I promised that we would always remember your daughter, your magnificent daughter,” Trump said, looking up at Nungray, who was seated in the upper level of the House Gallery as Trump spoke.

“Earlier tonight,” Trump continued, “I signed an order keeping my word to you.”

The president said that because Jocelyn loved animals and nature, he signed an executive order renaming the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge in Galveston Bay, where Jocelyn lived, to the Jocelyn Nungaray National Refuge.

‘This Is Your Last Warning!’ Trump Erupts on ‘Sick and Twisted’ Hamas Terrorists

President Donald Trump did not mince words Wednesday as he issued a scathing “last warning” to Hamas terrorists still holding hostages taken on Oct. 7, 2023.

“‘Shalom Hamas’ means Hello and Goodbye – You can choose,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“Release all of the Hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you. Only sick and twisted people keep bodies, and you are sick and twisted!

“I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job, not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t do as I say.

“I have just met with your former Hostages whose lives you have destroyed. This is your last warning!

“For the leadership, now is the time to leave Gaza, while you still have a chance. Also, to the People of Gaza: A beautiful Future awaits, but not if you hold Hostages. If you do, you are DEAD! Make a SMART decision. (Read more from “‘This Is Your Last Warning!’ Trump Erupts on ‘Sick and Twisted’ Hamas Terrorists” HERE)

CNN Steps On A Rake After ‘Fact-Checking’ Trump’s ‘Transgender Mice’ Funding Claim

CNN issued a correction after the network inaccurately asserted that President Donald Trump “falsely claimed” the Biden administration spent $8 million to make mice transgender.

During his joint address to Congress on Tuesday, Trump cited several examples of “appalling waste” he had cut, including $8.2 million in NIH-funded studies on “gender-affirming” hormone treatments mice. CNN’s Deidre McPhillips initially tried to dispute the claim, arguing only about $500,000 had been allocated for similar research in monkeys — she was later forced to issue a correction after the White House proved CNN’s “fact check” inaccurate in a statement.

“Last night, President Donald J. Trump highlighted many of the egregious examples of waste, fraud and abuse funded by the American taxpayers, including $8 million spent by the Biden Administration ‘for making mice transgender,’” the White House statement reads. “The Fake News losers at CNN immediately tried to fact check it, but President Trump was right (as usual).”

“Trump falsely claimed that the Department of Government Efficiency identified government spending of ‘$8 million for making mice transgender,’” CNN’s original fact check read.

The White House then released a statement listing six NIH grants for studies on hormone treatments in mice, a combined total of $8,290,053. The Biden-era grants included $455,000 to study “gender-affirming hormone therapy on HIV-vaccine induced immune responses, $2.5 million to study the reproductive consequences of hormone therapy, $299,940 to study testosterone therapy on breast cancer risk and treatment outcomes, $735,113 to study the effects of hormone therapy on mouse microbiomes, $1.2 million to study “androgen effects on the reproductive neuroendocrine axis” and $3.1 million to study hormones as mediators of sex influences in asthma. All listed studies involved hormonal replacement in mice. (Read more from “CNN Steps On A Rake After ‘Fact-Checking’ Trump’s ‘Transgender Mice’ Funding Claim” HERE)

Trump Exempts Automakers From Tariffs for a Month

President Donald Trump will exempt automakers from proposed tariffs on Mexico and Canada for one month after pleas from industry leaders.

“We are going to give a one month exemption on any autos coming through USMCA,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said during a press conference on Wednesday.

“Reciprocal tariffs will still go into effect on April, 2, but at the request of the companies associated with USMCA, the president is giving them an exemption for one month so they are not at an economic disadvantage,” she continued.

Bloomberg wrote:

Detroit’s automakers have aggressively sought to halt or revise President Donald Trump’s tariffs over concerns about the potentially catastrophic effects. Carmakers and experts have warned that a rise in costs from the 25% tariffs imposed on US neighbors this week could send auto prices up by thousands of dollars almost immediately and seize up supply chains.

The United Auto Workers union — which represents factory employees at GM, Ford and Stellantis — on Tuesday said it was in “active negotiations” with the Trump administration to “shape the auto tariffs in April to benefit the working class.”

Trump Department Of Justice Ends Biden-Era Lawfare Targeting Idaho’s Pro-Life Protections

President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice is dismissing a lawsuit the Biden administration brought against Idaho in an attempt to force its abortion activism on the pro-life state, court filings reveal.

The DOJ’s decision to drop the lawfare should have opened the door for the Gem State to enforce its August 2022 Defense of Life Act. Idaho’s largest hospital system, however, filed a separate suit against the state after repeatedly claiming that it had to airlift women out of state to get emergency abortions. Despite previously failing to provide proof for that claim, St. Luke’s Health System was handed a temporary restraining order by U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill, a President Bill Clinton nominee, one day before the Trump DOJ acted.

The Ronald Reagan administration enacted the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) in 1986 to stop hospitals from turning away patients based on their inability to pay for their expenses. The law requires adequate treatment for an “unborn child” but also explicitly does “not preempt any State or local law requirement, except to the extent that the requirement directly conflicts with” EMTALA.

President Joe Biden’s regime, however, expanded EMTALA in the wake of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson ruling to include abortion as a “stabilizing” procedure in certain cases “irrespective of any state laws or mandates that apply to specific procedures.” The Democrat administration then used its redefinition to target Idaho over its lifesaving law, which prohibits abortion except in cases of rape or incest, or if a physician deems it necessary to save the mother’s life.

The U.S. Supreme Court had a chance in June of last year to shut down the Biden administration’s abortion activism. Even though U.S. Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar struggled during arguments to explain why a federal law that promotes preserving the health of a mother and her “unborn child” in medical emergencies should require Idaho hospitals to perform abortions outside of the exceptions outlined in its state law, the high bench instead ruled 6-3 to toss the case back to the leftist San Francisco-based Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. President Trump Details Plan to Enact ‘Renewal of American Dream’: ‘America’s Momentum Is Back’

By Breitbart. . .Trump has wasted no time since retaking the Oval Office, sprinting to reshape American government and public life, reorient the U.S. position and standing on the world stage, and implement a rapid-fire set of actions so far at breakneck speed such that even professionals who follow this stuff for a living have difficulty keeping up with the president’s pace. He’s also surrounded himself with a mostly new cast of characters, including a new Vice President in JD Vance and a new Speaker of the House in Mike Johnson. Vance and Johnson will of course be seated behind Trump, which is customary for such addresses to Congress. But beyond those two, Trump’s cabinet is filled this time with difference-makers and change-seekers – people like Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum. Even former Democrats like Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are in Trump’s cabinet, and young, interesting, outsider voices fill many key roles throughout his White House and administration. President Donald Trump Concludes Remarks After Declaring ‘America’s Momentum Is Back’

By Fox News. President Donald Trump kicked off his address before a joint session of Congress Tuesday evening.

“To my fellow citizens, America is back,” Trump declared after thanking the members of Congress and first lady Melania Trump.

“Six weeks ago, I stood beneath the dome of this Capitol and proclaimed the dawn of the golden Age of America,” he said. “From that moment on, it has been nothing but swift and unrelenting action to usher in the greatest and most successful era in the history of our country. We have accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations accomplished in four years or eight years. And we are just getting started.”

The audience was heard chanting “USA, USA, USA” amid the president’s opening remarks. (Read more from “President Donald Trump Concludes Remarks After Declaring ‘America’s Momentum Is Back’” HERE)

Trump Promises ‘This Will Be Our Greatest Era’ in Joint Address to Congress

By Fox News. President Donald Trump vowed in his Tuesday speech to Congress and the U.S. that his administration would work to take “America’s destiny into our own hands” and promised that “this will be our greatest era” where he would fight to forge the most free civilization.Trump’s remarks came as he delivered an address to a joint session of Congress Tuesday in a speech similar to the annual State of the Union, where he declared that “America is back” and that the “American dream is surging.”

Trump unveiled in his speech that Ukraine is prepared to sign off on a rare-earth minerals deal and continue peace negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, and that his administration has caught the terrorist behind an attack in Afghanistan that resulted in the death of 13 U.S. troops.

He also promised he would drive down inflation costs and would “wage a war” on drug cartels as he bragged about his administration’s accomplishments in driving down illegal immigration crossings. . .

“Among my very highest priorities is to rescue our economy and get dramatic and immediate relief to working families,” Trump said. “As president, I am fighting every day to reverse this damage and make America affordable again.”

Zelensky Calls Oval Office Meeting ‘Regrettable,’ Says He Is Ready to Negotiate, Thanks Trump

By Breitbart. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday he was ready to come to the negotiating table to begin peace talks and expressed regret over last week’s meeting at the White House where he sparred with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance and blew a minerals deal with the U.S.

Zelensky wrote on X:

I would like to reiterate Ukraine’s commitment to peace.

None of us wants an endless war. Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians. My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to get a peace that lasts.

The tone was very different than the last 10 minutes of the meeting in the Oval Office with Trump, Vance, and other members of the cabinet who have worked to get Russia and Ukraine into peace talks, beginning with a U.S.-Ukraine mineral deal.

The meeting began amicably and went on for about 40 minutes without issue, until a Polish reporter asked Trump about being “close” to Putin. Trump initially responded, and Vance jumped in with a response, and then Zelensky challenged Vance. Ukraine Selling T-Shirts With Zelensky Quote From Trump-Vance Meeting

By The Hill. The Ukrainian government has launched a T-shirt fundraising effort seeking to capitalize on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s now-infamous Oval Office meeting Friday with President Trump and Vice President Vance.

The meeting, which unraveled to such an extent that a joint press conference between the two sides scheduled for afterward was canceled, included multiple moments that went viral, such as when Zelensky was criticized for not wearing a suit. He has dressed in more military-themed garb since Russia invaded his country three years ago.

United24, a Ukrainian state-sponsored platform that raises funds amid the ongoing war, is raffling off 100 T-shirts with Zelensky’s response: “I’ll wear a costume when the war is over.”

In Ukrainian, the word “costume” is used as a translated term for suit.

The raffle is open to those who donate $24 or more toward Kyiv’s defense efforts. (Read more from “Ukraine Selling T-Shirts With Zelensky Quote From Trump-Vance Meeting” HERE)

Trump Has ‘Sidelined’ Secretary of State Marco Rubio

President Donald Trump “has effectively sidelined” Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is often out of the loop when major foreign policy decisions are made, according to Vanity Fair.

The outlet published a report by Gabriel Sherman on Tuesday, stating that Rubio is privately “frustrated” that as the nation’s top diplomat, he is often not consulted on foreign affairs. Just last Friday, Rubio was in the Oval Office during a tense exchange between Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump and Vance berated Zelensky, whom the vice president called “disrespectful.” Rubio appeared visibly uncomfortable during the conversation, but later that day went on CNN and praised Trump.

Vanity Fair reported:

While Rubio was quick to get in line in the days after the Zelenskyy showdown, the historic confrontation did indeed reveal a fault line inside the administration: Rubio is privately frustrated that Trump has effectively sidelined him. According to four prominent Republicans close to the White House, Rubio, who has been a Russia hawk and Ukraine supporter, has told people he is upset by his lack of foreign policy influence despite being, on paper at least, the administration’s top diplomat. One of the sources said they felt as though Rubio is often the last to know when foreign policy decisions are made in the White House.

Democrat Escorted Out of Trump’s Congressional Address After Unhinged Behavior

On Tuesday night, President Donald Trump gave his address before a joint session of Congress, the fifth time he’s ever given such a speech. It was by far the rowdiest, though, and before the event even started. Once Trump had started speaking, though, it wasn’t long before the booing and interruptions started from Democratic members. Early on, Rep. Al Green (D-TX) even had to be escorted out, at Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) direction.

Throughout Trump’s remarks, at least the portion he was present for, Green stood up, waving his cane in the air.

At one particularly hysterical moment, as the president was speaking about his “comeback” win last November, the outbursts got so out of control that Johnson had to take to the mic to remind members to conduct themselves appropriately. He made it was clear he was issuing a warning to these members. When they still did not cease their outbursts, Green especially, whom Johnson addressed by name, the speaker directed the Sergeant at Arms to get involved.

Trump was then able to continue on with his remarks, as he continued to remind how much of a special “comeback” win he had achieved, while going on to speak about the ills caused by his predecessor, President Joe Biden. He also called out Democratic members of Congress for their refusal to applaud anything he had to say throughout these speeches, no matter what he said.
