Campus Coffee Shop Evicts College Republicans

Members of the Fordham University College Republicans were asked to leave an on-campus coffee shop because their MAGA hats apparently violated the shop’s “safe space policy.”

In a video obtained by Campus Reform, the self-identified president of Rodrigue’s Coffee House, a coffee shop run by a student club, is seen telling the College Republicans they have five minutes to get out of the coffee shop . . .

A student then asked for a refund, to which the president responded, “[y]ou had some coffee… do not try to outsmart me.”

“You are threatening the integrity of our club. This is a community standard—you are wearing hats that completely violate safe space policy,” she said. “You have to take it off or you have to go.”

One of the students then asked the president to explain what she thinks the MAGA hat stands for, to which she replied, shouting: “Fascism, Nazis! You have three minutes.” (Read more from “Campus Coffee Shop Evicts College Republicans” HERE)

Fusion GPS Tried to Tie Trump to Clinton Pedophile Pal as Part of Smear Campaign

Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm whose Democrat-financed Russia dossier fueled an FBI investigation into Donald Trump, pitched other stories about the Republican presidential candidate to Washington reporters, including an attempt to tie him to a convicted pedophile who was once buddies with former President Bill Clinton.

Journalist sources told The Washington Times that Fusion founder Glenn Simpson pushed the idea of a close relationship between Mr. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, who pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting sex from an underage girl.

The Trump-Epstein link appears purely social, far short of Mr. Clinton’s 20-plus plane rides on Epstein’s “Lolita Express” private jet around the globe in the early 2000s.

Ken Silverstein, the reporter who ultimately wrote an Epstein-Trump report, confirmed to The Times that Fusion had sourced the story. Mr. Silverstein, founder and editor of WashingtonBabylon.com who wrote the story for Vice.com, defended Mr. Simpson as a solid source of information that must first be confirmed.

For years, Fusion GPS has been an influential hidden hand in Washington, with entree into the city’s most powerful news bureaus. (Read more from “Fusion GPS Tried to Tie Trump to Clinton Pedophile Pal as Part of Smear Campaign” HERE)

Feathered Dinosaur Tail Discovered

The tail of a 99-million-year-old dinosaur has been found entombed in amber, an unprecedented discovery that has blown away scientists.

Xing Lida, a Chinese paleontologist found the specimen, the size of a dried apricot, at an amber market in northern Myanmar near the Chinese border.

The remarkable piece was destined to end up as a curiosity or piece of jewelry, with Burmese traders believing a plant fragment was trapped inside.

“I realized that the content was a vertebrate, probably theropod, rather than any plant,” Xing told CNN. (Read more from “Feathered Dinosaur Tail Discovered” HERE)

Ancient Pagan Gods ‘Reappearing’ Around the World

. . .The same group that recreated the Roman triumphal arch that once welcomed travelers to the Temple of Baal is now honoring another pagan deity.

The United Arab Emirates, the Italian mission to the United Nations and the Institute for Digital Archeology have re-created a statue of the goddess Athena which once stood in Palmyra, according to Breaking Israel News.

Though Athena was venerated as a goddess of reason, she was also known as “Athena Promachos,” a war goddess, and the re-created statue features her holding a spear. The exhibit, titled “The Spirit In the Stone,” is being hosted at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.

It’s another move by globalist organizations to honor pagan deities, months after the reconstructed “Arch of Baal” went on a world tour, including being placed outside the G7 meeting of the world’s industrialized nations.

“Most people today don’t realize how much of a hold ancient pagan beliefs, practices and images still have on their lives,” said Joseph Farah, author of “The Restitution of All Things: Israel, Christians and the End of the Age.” “In fact, pagan values and traditions have never left us. Even Jews and Christians are impacted by them. And they are not innocent because the gods of paganism are actually demons, according to the Bible. It’s not something to be played with. Mueller Investigator Previously Defended Clinton IT Staffer

It is becoming increasingly clear that special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into the alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia in the 2016 election may be seriously compromised by Democratic partisans involved in the investigation.

The latest revelation involves Mueller’s “right-hand man,” Aaron Zebley.

Zebley previously served as Mueller’s chief of staff at the FBI and as a senior counselor in the National Security Division at the Department of Justice.

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson reported Thursday night that in 2015, Zebley was an attorney for Justin Cooper, the IT staffer who set up Hillary Clinton’s private email server and the aide who destroyed Clinton’s old Blackberry phones with a hammer.

Fox News obtained documents showing that Zebley, as Cooper’s acting attorney, “stonewalled” Senate investigators, as the investigators wanted to question Cooper regarding Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information.

“We are troubled by [Zebley’s] complete refusal to engage the committee in a discussion about how to further assuage your concerns,” congressional investigators complained in a letter to Cooper.

PJ Media’s Debra Heine points out how ridiculous this entire probe of Mueller’s has become:

Let this sink in. The same attorney who played a defensive role for Hillary Clinton was tapped by Mueller in June to play an offensive role against Clinton opponent Trump.

But Aaron Zebley hasn’t been the only questionable hire. Out of a team of 16 lawyers, nine of them have donated to Democratic candidates, mostly to the campaigns of Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. None of them seem to have any Republican leanings.

Another member of the probe, Jeannie Rhee, was the personal attorney for Ben Rhodes (a former staffer and adviser of Obama) and also represented the Clinton Foundation, Fox News’ Laura Ingraham reported on Wednesday.

Two other members of the team have been revealed as blatantly partisan as well — Peter Strzok, an anti-Trumper who helped exonerate Hillary Clinton, and Andrew Weissmann, an “unscrupulous prosecutor” who told outgoing acting Attorney General Sally Yates in an email that he was “proud” of her for defying President Trump’s travel ban.

There has not been a single shred of evidence thus far linking Trump’s campaign to a crime or collusion. Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his business partner Rick Gates were indicted on corruption charges unrelated to Russia. Former national security adviser Michael Flynn was indicted on charges of lying to the FBI about contacts with Russia after the election. No collusion there, either.

At best, the investigation has charged a former low-level Trump campaign member, George Papadopoulos, with lying to the FBI about the timing of contacts he made with fronts for the Russian government purportedly on behalf of the campaign. But National Review’s Andy McCarthy explained how Papadopoulos’ story actually shows how the Trump campaign actually took steps to avoid “express or implied deals with the Kremlin.”

As time goes on, more and more of Robert Mueller’s investigation is shown to be compromised, with members’ concerning ties to the Democratic Party. Their capacity for a fair and objective investigation is in serious question .

When will it end? (For more from the author of “Mueller Investigator Previously Defended Clinton IT Staffer” please click HERE)

Crediting Any of This to Obama Is Absurd

t’s stories like this that make it absolutely impossible to have sensible conversations with liberals. Trump is now nearly a year into his presidency, and the economy, by any reasonable measure, is booming.

For example:

Economic growth rates have now, for 2 consecutive quarters, surpassed 3 percent — an annual growth rate that Obama never achieved in any year of his presidency.

The unemployment rate is dropping as the labor force participation rate is going up, a phenomenon that largely eluded Obama during his presidency.

Wages are finally rising. This only happened during a brief period at the end of the Obama presidency.

Crediting any of this to Obama is absurd. How does any reasonable Obama supporter explain away the fact that after 8 years of the Obama tax hikes, regulatory overreach, and explosive government spending, our economy grew at the slowest pace in modern times? And yet, when Trump entered the Oval Office, this all turned around as Obama’s policies were slowly dismantled.

We’re never going to be able to evaluate the effects of sensible economic policies if we continue to ignore the reality staring us in the face. Facts matter. (For more from the author of “Crediting Any of This to Obama Is Absurd” please click HERE)

Renowned Trumpet Player Walks off Stage After Pop Star Mocks Christmas Carol

A classical musician walked off the stage after a pop singer mocked a Christmas carol and criticized Republicans in the U.S. Congress.

Manny Laureano, Principal Trumpet for the Minnesota Orchestra, made the silent protest during a Rufus Wainwright concert in Minneapolis’ Orchestra Hall on the evening of December 2. Wainwright, who is in a same-sex “marriage” and is known for voicing his left-wing political opinions at shows, was complaining about the Republicans’ tax plan, which had passed in Congress the night before.

The speech was part of Wainwright’s introduction to his famous protest song “Going to a Town.” The song contains the refrain “I’m so tired of America”, and refers to Christian teachings concerning sexual sin:

Tell me, do you really think you go to hell for having loved?
Tell me, and not for thinking everything that you’ve done is good.
I really need to know, after soaking the body of Jesus Christ in blood.
I’m so tired of America…

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Wainwright told the audience that passage of the tax plan was “a call to arms”, and that he and they had “to fight for this country.” (Read more from “Renowned Trumpet Player Walks off Stage After Pop Star Mocks Christmas Carol” HERE)

Half Baked: What the Left Thinks of Muslim Christmas Cakes

Are ANYONE’S First Amendment rights allowed in the workplace anymore? Apparently not.

Anti-free speech protesters rallied outside the Supreme Court this week to kick off the oral arguments for one of the most important free speech cases in a generation, in which the court will decide whether individuals can be forced by states to violate their consciences.

At the heart of this case is Jack Philips — a Christian baker and the owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop — who was forced by his state government to serve a gay wedding.

But what if the situation were different?

The “Capitol Hill Brief” team went to ask protestors what should happen if a Muslim baker were put in a similar situation. Some of the answers we got may surprise you.

Bernie Sanders’ Wife’s Land Deal Still Under FBI Probe; Witness Recently Questioned

A federal investigation launched in 2016 into possible bank fraud by Jane Sanders, wife of U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, is still underway — with “a potential” grand jury review possible.

The probe could thwart Sanders’ 2020 presidential ambitions — as well as the Vermont political plans of Jane Sanders’ daughter, Carina Driscoll.

Individuals questioned by the FBI confirmed to Fox News that the investigation was still open, with FBI agents interviewing at least one witness within the last six weeks.

Jane Sanders is under investigation following a land deal she clinched when she was president of Burlington College in Vermont in 2010.

In order to expand the college, Sanders sought to obtain a tract of land from a Roman Catholic parish. She secured a $6.7 million loan from a bank and a $3.6 million loan from the parish from which she planned to purchase the property. Supreme Court to Decide If Boy’s Legal ‘Biological’ Parents Are Two Lesbians

The Mississippi Supreme Court heard arguments last week about whether a boy born to a lesbian couple should be legally considered the biological son of his mother’s female partner.

Because of the nature of the child’s conception and the relationship of the adults in his life, the story is complicated.

The two women who were “married” chose to have a child that would be conceived in one of them via anonymous sperm donation.

The boy is now six years old. His mother’s “ex-spouse,” who helped raise the child from birth, sought to be recognized as a biological parent when the two women divorced.

“Kimberly Strickland Day, was impregnated through assisted reproduction technology whereby donor sperm was combined with her harvested egg and the embryo surgically implanted,” reports the Jackson, Mississippi Clarion Ledger. “The couple separated in 2013, and their divorce was finalized last year. A Mississippi court granted the first same-sex divorce in 2015.” (Read more from “Supreme Court to Decide If Boy’s Legal ‘Biological’ Parents Are Two Lesbians” HERE)
