Country Bans Puberty Blockers for Transgender Minors

The United Kingdom on Wednesday indefinitely banned new prescriptions of puberty blockers to treat minors for gender dysphoria. The announcement comes a week after the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case involving state bans on puberty-suppressing medication and other forms of transition-related care for minors. . .

The indefinite ban on the medication in Britain comes several months after an independent study commissioned by England’s National Health Service concluded that the medical evidence around transition-related care for minors is “remarkably weak” and that more research is needed.

“Children’s healthcare must always be evidence-led,” British Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting said in a press release. “The independent expert Commission on Human Medicines found that the current prescribing and care pathway for gender dysphoria and incongruence presents an unacceptable safety risk for children and young people.”

Dr. Hilary Cass, the author of the independent study, known as the “Cass report,” said she supported the ban, according to the same release.

“Puberty blockers are powerful drugs with unproven benefits and significant risks, and that is why I recommended that they should only be prescribed following a multi-disciplinary assessment and within a research protocol,” she said. Antony Blinken Defends Afghanistan Withdrawal, Says Things Didn’t Turn Out Too Bad

Secretary of State Antony Blinken apologized Wednesday to the families of 13 U.S. troops killed by a suicide bomber during America’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, saying he wished the government had done more to protect them.

Mr. Blinken told Congress that the Biden administration has managed to blunt some of the withdrawal’s worst problems.

He said al Qaeda has not been able to revive itself inside Afghanistan and worries about stranded Americans haven’t come to fruition. The U.S. has rescued hundreds of people left in Afghanistan at the end of the August 2021 pullout.

Far from frayed alliances and falling U.S. standing, he said, America emerged with firmer friends and better security on the international stage. In particular, he said, the withdrawal allowed the U.S. to be in a position to build the coalition that helped Ukraine resist Russia’s invasion in February 2022.

“It’s clear that our alliances, our partnerships, are stronger today than they have been in a generation,” he told the House Foreign Affairs Committee. (Read more from “Antony Blinken Defends Afghanistan Withdrawal, Says Things Didn’t Turn Out Too Bad” HERE)

ActBlue Drops Bombshell Confession Before Congress

Left-wing fundraising giant ActBlue has reportedly informed Congress it was still accepting foreign gift card donations as recently as September, a significant development in an ongoing investigation into whether U.S. foreign adversaries, such as China, Russia, Iran, or Venezuela, were dumping illicit funds into the campaign coffers of Democrat candidates.

Rep. Bryan Steil (R-WI), chairman of the U.S. Committee on House Administration, which oversees federal election integrity, told Just the News that ActBlue turned over documents under subpoena showing a substantial change in September to its donor verification policies designed to guard against ill-gotten gains from flowing into political campaigns.

According to Just the News, ActBlue disclosed that it updated the platform’s policies on Sept. 9 to “automatically reject donations that use foreign prepaid/gift cards, domestic gift cards, are from high-risk/sanctioned countries, and have the highest level of risk as determined.”

That change occurred just three days after Steil introduced the Secure Handling of Internet Electronic Donations (SHIELD) Act on Sept. 6 to ensure that foreign money stayed out of online political fundraising. Beforehand, Steil said that such donations were not automatically rejected by ActBlue.

“While this is a positive step forward, there is still more work to be done to ensure our campaign finance system is fully protected from fraud and unlawful foreign interference,” Steil told Just the News.

Dem Gov Reverses Course on Trump Criticism, Says He Clearly Cares About Her State

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signaled willingness to work with Donald Trump in an interview this week, saying the president-elect clearly cared about her state.

“People in Michigan, like a majority of Americans, voted for Donald Trump, and my oath is to Michigan,” Whitmer told CNN at a meeting of Democratic governors in Los Angeles. “Obviously, I’ve got experience in this type of environment that will help inform how I continue to fight for Michigan. But I know Donald Trump cares about Michigan. And I’m hoping that because of that, we’ll be able to find some common ground in some important ways.”

Trump won back Michigan in the 2024 election en route to re-capturing the White House. Whitmer is widely seen as a possible White House contender in 2028 given her status as a 2-term governor of a battleground state.

Whitmer seemed to be employing the tactic of not antagonizing Trump in public, given the federal government’s ability to allocate aid and prioritize certain states’ initiatives.

Whitmer and Trump butted heads in the media during his first term, particularly over his administration’s COVID-19 response. She was floated as a possible running mate for Kamala Harris, but declined consideration so she could conclude her second term in office, which is up in 2027. Trump’s Reported Plan For ICE Leaves Nowhere For Criminal Migrants To Hide

The incoming Trump administration intends to scrap a longstanding policy that largely prevents federal immigration authorities from arresting illegal migrants in areas that are known as “sensitive” locations, according to an NBC News report.

President-elect Donald Trump would like to allow Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to begin arresting illegal migrants at or near hospitals, schools, churches and other areas deemed to be “sensitive” locations without needing prior approval from their supervisors, according to NBC News. Trump, who won the presidential election with a hardline immigration platform, may issue the rule change as soon as his first day in office.

The reported policy change could allow ICE agents to better follow through on one of the president-elect’s most notable campaign promises: conducting the largest deportation operation in American history.

A policy of not conducting apprehensions at sensitive locations — with exceptions relating to terrorism, national security threats or other imminent dangers — has been on the books for over a decade within the agency. Then-ICE Director John Morton issued a memo in October 2011 that largely prohibited agents from operating in schools or churches, establishing a policy that extended into the Trump and Biden administrations. U.S. Senators Who Left Democratic Party Stick It to Biden Before They Go

Democrats lost retiring Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, now an independent of Arizona, and Sen. Joe Manchin, now an independent from West Virginia, from their party ranks some time ago.

The result was that party members lost no opportunity to trash them, their accomplishments, and their ideas.

Now, those two have responded with a parting gift to Joe Biden, who leaves office in a few weeks: A move to torpedo his choice for a spot on the National Labor Relations Board.

It is the Washington Examiner that notes up for a vote was Lauren McFerran, an activist who likely would have left the NLRB under Democrat control for years to come.

The report said, “McFerran’s term expires Monday. Her reinstalment would’ve secured a Democratic NLRB majority on the five-person panel tasked with protecting organized union labor until at least August 2026, at which point Trump could have replaced another expiring Democrat with a Republican. The NLRB’s current makeup is three Democrats, one Republican, and one absent Republican seat. The agency may not have more than a 3-2 partisan majority for either party. Each seat’s term runs five years, regardless of when members are seated.” (Read more from “U.S. Senators Who Left Democratic Party Stick It to Biden Before They Go” HERE)

Major Study Confirms COVID-Vaxxed Cause Side Effects in Unvaccinated People

A major new peer-reviewed study has confirmed that unvaccinated people can suffer from the harmful side effects of Covid mRNA “vaccines” by just being around people who have received the injections.

The study finally confirms the existence of “vaccine shedding” – an issue previously shot down by health officials as a “conspiracy theory.”

Alarmingly, the study found that unvaccinated people suffer vaccine harms even if they are “indirectly exposed” to those who received Covid mRNA shots.

A study titled, “Menstrual Abnormalities Strongly Associated with Proximity to COVID-19 Vaccinated Individuals,” was just published in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Vaccine Theory, Practice, and Research.

The team of top American researchers behind the study was led by Professor Jill Newman and Dr. Sue E. Peters.

The study revealed shocking findings: Unvaccinated women who were around vaccinated people daily (within 6 feet) suffered vaccine side effects. (Read more from “Major Study Confirms COVID-Vaxxed Cause Side Effects in Unvaccinated People” HERE)

Congress Is Ramming Through A $895 Billion Pork-Filled Defense Bill Before Trump Takes Office

Congressional leaders are gearing up to ram through a $895 billion pork-filled defense bill before President-elect Donald Trump is sworn into office next month.

According to The Hill, the House is expected to vote on the 1,813-page National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2025 on Wednesday. Released on Saturday night, the legislation — which was negotiated behind closed doors by congressional leadership — is stuffed with items unrelated to defense policy and void of conservative priorities included in the version passed by the GOP-controlled House earlier this year.

The “negotiated” NDAA does not include a provision from the lower chamber’s bill that eliminated all Pentagon offices that “promote diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI), an offshoot of Marxist ideology. The removed provision also sought to ensure that “the employment of all personnel of each such [DEI} office is terminated.”

The final version does not include a section from the House bill prohibiting the defense secretary from “establish[ing] or maintain[ing] any committee, panel, office, or other organization with responsibility for matters relating to [DEI] in schools operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity.” A provision eliminating the Defense Department’s chief diversity officer was also removed from the final measure. Bill Clinton: I’m Open to Discussing Preemptive Pardon for Hillary Before Trump Takes Office

Former President Bill Clinton said Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” that he was open to discussing a potential preemptive pardon for his wife Hillary Clinton with President Joe Biden.

Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “Do you think it would be wise of President Biden to preemptively pardon any potential targets? What about your wife, Hillary Clinton? She apparently is on Kash Patel’s list.”

Clinton said, “They’ve got a problem with her because first, she didn’t do anything wrong. Second, she followed the rules exactly as they were written. Third, Trump’s State Department — Trump’s State Department — found — remember how the emails were such a big issue in 2016? Trump’s State Department found that Hillary sent and received exactly zero classified emails on her personal device. It was a made-up phony story.” (Read more from “Bill Clinton: I’m Open to Discussing Preemptive Pardon for Hillary Before Trump Takes Office” HERE)

Donald Trump Expected to Be Named TIME Magazine Person of the Year: Report

Donald Trump’s run of good fortune is expected to be recognized this week by Time magazine, which will name him Person of the Year, according to Politico.

Time will announce the winner Thursday morning on its website.

Trump’s political comeback after two impeachments, four indictments, losing the 2020 election and inciting a riot at the U.S. Capitol to try to overturn the results is a remarkable moment in American history.

The president-elect also survived two assassination attempts. A bullet grazed his ear and killed a rallygoer during the first assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania. (Read more from “Donald Trump Expected to Be Named TIME Magazine Person of the Year: Report” HERE)
