The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), a conservative Christian-based organization has jumped into the fray between the atheist group Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF) and American colleges and universities.
Recently, the FFRF sent letters to 15 colleges and universities, pressuring the schools to fire the chaplains of their football teams. This is because, according to the FFRF, appointing a football chaplain in a sports team is unconstitutional.
The FFRF claims that schools should abolish their chaplaincy because “Christian coaches and chaplains are converting football fields into mission fields” and that appointing football chaplains is a form of “religious discrimination.”
A report by FFRF goes on to say that schools cannot “use the coercive nature and structure of a public football program to mandate, order, or even suggest that players under their control should worship as the coaches wish.”
The atheist group suggests instead that “it is in the best interest of public universities to adopt policies that protect student athletes from discrimination and unlawful religious coercion.” (Read more from “Conservative Christian Group Defends US Schools From Atheists Who Want Football Chaplains Abolished” HERE)

Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday moved to reassure Congress that Israel and America’s Gulf State allies would be fully taken care of in the wake of the Iran nuclear deal, which Kerry acknowledged would not stop Iran’s support for terrorism, according to a letter sent by the secretary of state to lawmakers.
Just moments after the White House secured enough votes to override a congressional veto of the Iran deal, a letter from Kerry appeared in the inboxes of congressional offices across Capitol Hill.
Kerry admits that, despite the deal, Iran will continue to back terrorist groups across the globe and promises to boost military support and funding to Israel and Gulf states such as Saudi Arabia, according to a copy of the letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
The letter comes in response to concerns among lawmakers, Israel, and other Gulf region allies that the nuclear accord will boost the Islamic Republic’s support for terrorism, while leaving traditional U.S. allies on the defense.
“Important questions have been raised concerning the need to increase security assistance to our allies and partners in the region and to enhance our efforts to counter Iran’s destabilizing activities in the region,” Kerry writes. “We share the concern expressed by many in Congress regarding Iran’s continued support for terrorist and proxy groups throughout the region, its propping up of the Assad regime in Syria, its efforts to undermine the stability of its regional neighbors, and the threat it poses to Israel.” (Read more from “Kerry Promises Israel, Saudis Money in Wake of Iran Nuclear Deal” HERE)

54 percent of Republicans believe that President Barack Obama is a Muslim, according to a poll conducted by the left-leaning Public Policy Polling (PPP) . . .
Obama’s faith first came into question during his 2008 campaign. His connections to Bill Ayers, a self-described unrepentant terrorist, and Jeremiah Wright, whose anti-American rhetoric in church made headlines, fueled the perception that Obama was a Muslim. However, Obama has made comments discussing his Christian faith, specifically during Easter and Christmas, The Hill noted.
Moreover, only 29 percent of Republicans believe that the commander-in-chief was born in the United States, an issue that was heavily promoted by Donald Trump in 2011. As for Canadian born GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz, 40 percent of Republicans say he was born in America.
Donald Trump received the highest grades among the 17 Republicans running for the presidential nomination. The New York business mogul nabbed 29 percent of the vote, retaining his first place position. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson of Maryland was in second, with 15 percent. GOP establishment favorite Jeb Bush of Florida finished in third, with nine percent. Carly Fiorina, one of two women running for the presidency, finished fourth with eight percent support. Nearly 900,000 military veterans officially have pending applications for health care from the Department of Veterans Affairs, the department’s inspector general said Wednesday, but “serious” problems with enrollment data make it impossible to determine how many veterans were actively seeking VA health care.
About one-third of the 867,000 veterans with pending applications are likely deceased, the report says, adding that “data limitations” prevent investigators from determining how many now-deceased veterans applied for health care benefits or when. The applications go back nearly two decades, and officials said some applicants may have died years ago.
More than half the applications listed as pending as of last year do not have application dates, and investigators “could not reliably determine how many records were associated with actual applications for enrollment” in VA health care, the report said. 2016 Republican frontrunner Donald Trump told Breitbart News that former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush should be speaking English—not the Spanish he spoke to attack Trump in Miami this week—on the campaign trail.
Trump had harsh words for Sen. Marco Rubio in this interview as well and lit into the donor class, all while saying that the “silent majority” in America is waking up and fighting to take back the country from the political class.
Trump also predicted that he will not only win the White House in 2016, but that he will be re-elected in 2020–predicting he will be a two-term president–and that at the end of his eventual eight years in the White House he will be known to all as a “great conservative” just like Ronald Reagan.
“I like Jeb,” Trump said. “He’s a nice man. But he should really set the example by speaking English while in the United States.”
“El hombre no es conservador,” Bush said in Spanish of Trump in Miami, according to the Tampa Bay Times. That means, according to that newspaper, that Bush is saying of Trump: “The man is not conservative.” (Read more from “Donald Trump Fires Back at Bush: He Should Lead by Speaking English While in the U.S.” HERE)

By Fox News. A Florida Police Department had a beef with Arby’s after a cop was denied service Tuesday evening by a worker at the fast food franchise – simply because the customer was a police officer . . .
An officer, in uniform and driving a marked police vehicle, placed an order at a drive-thru speaker Tuesday evening before pulling up to the window to pay and receive the order. But an Arby’s worker at the window refused service.
“The comment was made that they wouldn’t be served because they were a police officer,” Maj. Carlos Bermudez, a Pembroke Pines officer, told FoxNews.com.
Someone else inside the restaurant intervened and gave the officer [her] order. But, after initially taking it and paying for it, the officer returned the bag and got a refund because [she] didn’t feel “comfortable.”
“In my 18 years here I’ve never heard of an incident like this before,” Bermudez said. “Whenever we’ve gone to an establishment, we’ve been treated professionally and great.” (Read more from “Fast Food Restaurant Refuses to Serve Woman, Here’s the Ridiculous Reason Why” HERE)

Arby’s Apologizes to Pembroke Pines Police After Report That Clerk Refused to Serve Uniformed Officer
By Mike Clary and Erika Pesantes. The alleged refusal of a 19-year-old fast-food employee to serve a uniformed Pembroke Pines police officer ballooned into a social media firestorm Wednesday and prompted a demand for an apology from Arby’s that was quickly delivered.
“I am offended and appalled that an individual within our community would treat a police officer in such a manner,” Chief Dan Giustino said in a news release in response to a report from Sgt. Jennifer Martin that an Arby’s employee refused to wait on her “due to being a police officer.”
The incident allegedly happened Tuesday evening at the Arby’s at 11755 Pines Blvd. in the Pembroke Lakes Mall.
Less than two hours after that release went out, police said Giustino had contacted Arby’s by phone. “Immediately following, Arby’s Chief Executive Officer Paul Brown, and Senior Vice President of Operations Scott Boatwright, contacted Chief Giustino to convey their sincere apologies on behalf of their organization,” police said.
“Both gentlemen assured Chief Giustino that the employee’s behavior was unacceptable and not representative of the company’s values. Chief Giustino was appreciative and accepted their apology and now considers this matter closed.” (Read more from this story HERE)
We learned from the latest exposé of Planned Parenthood and its organ-trafficking partners that some of the pregnancies which they ended were so far along that the children were nearly or fully viable. As one of the profiteers in the ninth video admits, she has witnessed procedures during which the “fetus was already in the vaginal canal whenever we put her in the stirrups, it just fell out.”
O unhappy fall! Those children fell out of the womb not into life but unto death, a death that was not profitless, thanks to Planned Parenthood and its allies — who finally answered Jesus’ ancient question: “For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life?” Now we know: “$340 per second-trimester fetal tissue specimen.” Of course, the profiteers aren’t losing their own lives here, you will immediately think. Like hitmen, they are killing others.
But step back for a moment and consider this question in the light of Our Lord’s words. He spoke of losing one’s life to sin. Did He only mean the afterlife, or was He also speaking of this one? The kingdom of heaven begins for the blessed on earth, so perhaps the converse is true. Dante was bold enough to speculate in the Inferno that some of the damned can be glimpsed in hell while their bodies still move and function. He did not mean that literally; anyone can still repent up to the last minute he draws breath. But while we are resisting God’s grace, and clinging with cold, bitter fingers to our justifications for evil, what else are we doing on earth but rehearsing the Great Refusal, preparing our souls for hell?
What can the merchants of baby parts possibly think about their own lives, as they sort through human organs and total up the profits? As they count on their fingers how many hands they will need to amputate to spare the sensibilities of the techs who will open those coolers, what do these people make of their own hands, their feet, their very existence in human bodies? The logic of abortion implies an answer, but it’s not one they’re happy with: We are nothing more than animals, and when our brains flat-line we too will wink out like birthday candles.
But abortionists don’t really think that or act on that assumption. They claim for human beings something “heroic” and unnatural: The right of absolute choice, the freedom to harness the joy of sex quite unhinged from its biological purpose. What animals manage that, or even try to? In the natural world, no ape however brainy has thought to sterilize himself. No species routinely destroys its healthy young the better to maximize sexual pleasure. In the wild, mothers fiercely defend their offspring; they do not find strangers and reward them for tearing them out. Only man has thought to claim such a curious privilege — curious indeed, if we are merely animals. At best, it is a profound maladaptation, a symptom that our species has undergone some strange mutation and will likely die out quite soon.
Or else it is a sign. A perverse proof that we are not just another species in a series that begins with the bacteria. Who else but a god, like Zeus, would see his own children as a threat to his autonomy, and so decide to consume them? We would be as gods, and envious gods at that. We begrudge the next generation its chance to walk on this earth at all. How else can we interpret the fact that more human beings have been aborted across the world in the past 40 years than died in wars or genocides over the course of the past 100? That explains why unborn children are public enemy number one.
If we are envious gods, then what do we make of the fact that we are encased in these fragile bodies? What can the abortionist, who uses his human body to dismember other human bodies, possibly think that his body means? Is it anything more than a cage for a godlike spirit, which is sometimes gilded with pleasure?
There’s an ancient way of looking at the world that makes perfect sense of all this. No it’s not Christianity, but something much more mysterious and exotic, which makes no demands of obedience or self-renunciation. It’s called “Gnosticism,” and you can see it portrayed amusingly in 2014’s train-wreck movie Noah. In that anti-biblical epic, there are angels who have fallen for disobeying the Creator. And their punishment is to be trapped inside bodies and sent to earth. That is the Gnostic theory of every human’s biological existence. We are actually angels, bodiless spirits of endless potential and perfect freedom, whom an evil god (or gods) have plunged into the quagmire of flesh and blood, sperm and egg. It is our task to free ourselves by seeking out secret knowledge, to get back our godhood by any means necessary.
Like those poor butchered babies described in the latest video who “just fell out” of the womb, we fell out of the heavens, according to the Gnostic vision, and got trapped inside these bodies. What better way to resist, to shove our refusal back in the face of our hateful creator than to show Him exactly what we think of this cruel arrangement? We will destroy these bodies whenever we like, we will “modify” and mutilate them, we will use them however we like and even try to change our sex when that suits our spirit. We will craft bizarre hybrids of humans and animals, and in labs make hundreds of thousands of tiny bodies to keep in freezers for our convenience. When our bodies have worn themselves out, we will not even bury them, but burn them. Why leave behind a sad, decaying reminder of our shameful sentence on earth, when our spirits deserve so much more? (The practice of cremation in the West, which died when Rome converted, was revived by Enlightenment philosophes to rebuke the resurrection of the body.) The best way to emphasize the spirit’s radical freedom is to punish and degrade the flesh.
The Marquis de Sade understood that. That is why his books are at once Gnostic diatribes and viciously cruel pornography, riddled through with gratuitous scenes of Eucharistic blasphemy, crass attacks on the body of Christ. His anti-erotic sex books, which one might think would only appeal to the tiny percentage of frustrated serial killers out there, have instead been hailed by secular intellectuals as philosophical classics. One of de Sade’s central tenets, the linchpin of his plan for “liberating” us from nature and its Creator, was access to abortion. And his writing is just as gruesome as anything you’ll see in the Planned Parenthood videos.
It took the activist Margaret Sanger to turn de Sade’s dark fantasies into practice, to institutionalize and bureaucratize his evil. She played Lenin to his Marx. Her votaries today maintain de Sade’s temples in every ghetto. And now we see the fruits of their acts of sacrifice. On August 1, 1776, just a few weeks after signing the Declaration of Independence, Sam Adams spoke before a large audience at the State House in Philadelphia beseeching them to fight for their independence. During the speech, Adams singled out religious liberty as the consummate freedom – of all fundamental rights – they’d be fighting for in this revolution. He warned the public that “our contest is not only whether we ourselves shall be free, but whether there shall be left to mankind an asylum on earth for civil and religious liberty.”
Two hundred and thirty-nine years later, we are on the precipice of losing that asylum to a pagan inquisition our Founders could never have recognized. Now, county clerks are being forced to issue marriage licenses to relationships that have never been conceived as a marriage until just 15 years ago – all by a few unelected judges who have no jurisdiction over the definition of marriage. Kim Davis, the Clerk of Rowan County Kentucky is now taking a stand and is refusing to be sent to the back of the bus as a second class citizen in a country founded upon Judeo-Christian values. She has refused to issue licenses to redefine marriages because, as clerk of the county, those documents will always contain her name – even if they are directly issued by a deputy.
Kim Davis is taking a stand and saying no more, much like Rosa Parks did against unjust anti-liberty Jim Crow laws.
I know what some of you are thinking. “But Daniel, it’s one thing to refuse to violate one’s religious conscious when forced to perform a service with private property, such as the case of the Oregon baker or Gifford family farm in New York. Kim Davis, on the other hand, is a government official and is now bound by the Supreme Court’s decision, as absurd as that decision might be.”
Here’s the problem with that line of thought. Until now, we’ve dutifully tolerated 50 years of blatantly unconstitutional judicial tyranny, obsequiously repeating the false mantra that “the Supreme Court is the law of the land,” even in the most egregious cases. But if we don’t draw a line in the sand at some point, we will lose our country, liberty, and sovereignty altogether. Remember, these are the same judges who believe illegal aliens have a right to violate our sovereignty and assert Second Amendment rights. Is that the law of the land too?
For quite some time, there have been four justices on the Supreme Court and a majority of lower court judges who not only reject our Constitution as it was originally drafted, they believe it is a living and breathing document, given over to the unelected legal profession to interpret and promulgate laws as needed. This view was best articulated by Justice Thurgood Marshall in 1987. Speaking at a bicentennial celebration of the Constitution, Marshal brazenly rejected the notion of celebrating the Constitution as the Framers conceived it, along with their “outdated notions of liberty, justice and equality.”
This is the ultimate example of despotism because there is no recourse of the people to protect against the insidious political whims of unelected judges at any given moment. It’s one thing for elected politicians to behave badly. They can always be defeated in an election. But to have this power vested in the hands of judges is unsustainable. Sure, the Constitution has flaws, as only a document from God can be perfect. But there is a process for changing that. To replace the Constitution with the unwritten subjective social justice values of a legal profession – without a formal amendment process – is lunacy and leads to indefinite and unaccountable oligarchy.
Irrespective of one’s views on homosexuality, it was clear to anyone who can read that the Constitution was silent on the issue of marriage. That’s when Anthony Kennedy formally joined the judicial tyranny wing of the court, thereby securing a majority of justices who not only eschew the Constitution as it was written, but believe the existing Constitution is comprised of their personal values at any given time. In 23 words, Kennedy openly and unabashedly nullified the Constitution and made himself and his colleagues a supreme power, “and so they entrusted to future generations a charter protecting the right of all persons to enjoy liberty as we learn its meaning.”
Kim Davis rightfully believes that the “we” in we the people means the people through their elected state or federal representatives, not unelected judges.
One might ask: why doesn’t she just resign? After all, this is not her personal property; it’s a government job. And if Kim Davis is being asked to resign, shouldn’t Obama have to resign his position if he has conscious problems with regard to enforcing endless immigration laws duly passed by Congress?
Martin Luther King famously said, “I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for law.” He was referring to laws duly passed by elected bodies of government, such as state legislatures. How much more so would his principle apply against unelected oligarchs who have flipped the power of the Judiciary on its head.
Kim Davis worked in the Clerk’s office for 27 years, predating even the human concept of a homosexual marriage. In 2004, 75% of the state’s voters agreed to preemptively protect against the assault on marriage by defining it as a union between a man and a woman. One can be the most pro-homosexual “rights” activist in the world, but were he to uphold our legal framework, he’d have to concede that the federal constitution is silent on marriage and it has always been a state institution. Marriage as it was always understood is the law of the land in the state of Kentucky, so why should Kim Davis yield to the naked and illegal political ambitions of the judicial oligarchs on a federal level? A Fox News anchor is suing toy company Hasbro (HAS) for millions after she said it appropriated her name and her likeness for its “Littlest Pet Shop” product line.
Harris Faulkner filed the suit in U.S District Court Monday over the toy line’s “Harris Faulkner Hamster” doll.
“Hasbro’s false suggestion that Faulkner endorsed its product directly impugns Faulkner’s journalistic integrity, by suggesting that she has entered into a business relationship with the company (when she has not) and that she has lent her good name to a demeaning plastic rodent (when she did not),” the lawsuit said.
The suit said the toy resembled her in complexion, shape of its eyes and design of its eye makeup . . .
“Faulkner is extremely distressed that her name has been wrongly associated with a plastic toy that is a known chocking hazard that risks harming small children,” the lawsuit said. (Read more from “Fox News Anchor Sues Toy Company Over ‘Demeaning Plastic Rodent’ Doll” HERE)

Local news reports said the corpse with a “mysterious skull” was found by two residents next to the River Kovashi, on Sunday, in the Russian town of Sosnovy Bor, a town built in 1958 to serve the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant.
It is said that the locals, who spotted it by chance, initially believed it could be a mutant chicken embroyo that had been discarded . . .
The body was also looked at by experts from the Institute of Biophysics in Krasnoyarsk, who said it was impossible to make a quick identification.
Biologist Yegor Zadereev said: “Extensive studies are needed to determine what kind of creature or organism it is” . . .
Scott C waring, who edits UFO Sightings Daily, said: “This tiny alien body was found near a river in Russia and has no resemblance to any animal known. (Read more from “Scientists Baffled After Mysterious “Alien” Corpse Found in Russia” HERE)
