UPDATE: Allegation that Co-Pilot of Germanwings Catastrophic Crash was a Recent Islamic Convert Under Fire

pilotBy John Nelson. The author of the German source suggesting that the Germanwings co-pilot was a recent Muslim convert is Michael Manhiemmer. He writes for a blog called “German PI-News.” PI stands for “politically incorrect.” It appears the only news sites carrying the possibility of him being a Muslim convert are disseminating Manhiemmer’s original piece. There are also some other websites like the Gateway Pundit that are disseminating a Facebook fan page with an ISIS theme which are also of questionable sources. The Gateway Pundit screenshot revealed that the page had only been setup an hour before Facebook removed it. It too appears to be a hoax as no terror organizations have stepped up to take credit for the crash.

The German and French authorities whom have searched the premises of the Lubitz Household have revealed two doctor notes telling him not to go to work and prescription drugs consistent with mental illness. His ex-girlfriend also revealed his mental illness and suggested that Lubitz would do something that would change the airline industries forever. The New York Post is also saying that his ex-girlfriend had told Andreas Lubitz that she was also pregnant and likely carrying his baby. Other theories, of which there are numerous, suggest that he knew his flying career was over as soon as his company knew of his mental state (7). She had also revealed that he was disgruntled over pay with the value airline company, and Lubitz knew because of his psychological condition that he could never operate a long range flying aircraft.

As it stands, the potential for him being a Muslim-convert is very remote as nothing totally conclusive has been released to make firm that case. Furthermore, all the major indications are leaning towards him not being Muslim, and being mentally ill. That isn’t to mean that one should draw an unfair parallel between those ideas, but rather observe the potential for inexplicable acts of vengeance regardless of how they originate. Additionally, Lubitz was able to hide his medical information from his employer for years as he passed the airline psychological testing, and never informed his employer of his existing medical condition. Subsequently, the recent absense from his work appears to be the result of him receiving medical treatment for his eyes, and possibily time taken off for “burnout syndrome,” which sounds a kin to a nervous breakdown. At present, reports that anti-depression medication were found to be in his home.

It could be noted that people who are depressed don’t normally commit mass murder. However, given that his dreams of flying were likely to cease, previous existing conditions regarding his mental state, and girlfriend potentially being pregnant, this confluence of problems likely pushed him over the edge. What has become more clear is there is not anything consistent with an ideological or religious motive lending a terrorist label to be appropriate. Mass-Murder and homocide by means of suicide appear to be the most likely explanation.

German PI-News: Co-Pilot Was a Recent Muslim Convert

By Speisa. According to Michael Mannheimer, a writer for German PI-News, Germany now has its own 9/11, thanks to the convert to Islam, [the plane’s co-pilot] Andreas Lubitz.

Translation from German:

All evidence indicates that the copilot of Airbus machine in his six-months break during his training as a pilot in Germanwings, converted to Islam and subsequently either by the order of “radical”, ie. devout Muslims , or received the order from the book of terror, the Quran, on his own accord decided to carry out this mass murder. As a radical mosque in Bremen is in the center of the investigation, in which the convert was staying often, it can be assumed that he – as Mohammed Atta, in the attack against New York – received his instructions directly from the immediate vicinity of the mosque.

Converts are the most important weapon of Islam, because their resume do not suggest that they often are particularly violent Muslims. Thus, Germany now has its own 9/11, but in a reduced form. And so it is clear that Islam is a terrorist organization that are in accordance with §129a of the Criminal Code to prohibit it and to investigate its followers. But nothing will happen. One can bet that the apologists (media, politics, “Islamic Scholars”) will agree to assign this an act of a “mentally unstable” man, and you can bet that now, once again the mantra of how supposedly peaceful Islam is will continue. And worse still, the attacks by the left against those who have always warned against Islam, will be angrier and merciless . . .

Hopefully we’ll know in a few days if this article is accurate. (Read more from “Co-Pilot of Germanwings Crash Was Recent Islamic Convert” HERE)

Germanwings Crash: What We Know About the Flight’s Harrowing Final 10 Minutes

By Olivia Smith. Here’s a breakdown of what we know about Flight 9525’s last moments, based on information released by authorities:

At 10:30 a.m., the plane is flying at 38,000 feet.

At some point around this time, the pilot is heard asking the co-pilot to take over the controls. A chair is heard moving and a door is heard closing.

At 10:31 a.m., the plane starts losing altitude.

The co-pilot is alone at the controls, and the accelerated descent is made manually. The pilot is heard knocking on the door and asking over the speaker to enter the cockpit. There is no response from the co-pilot. (Read more from this story HERE)

Special Forces Set to Swarm Southwest and Operate Undetected Among Civilians in Massive Military Exercise

BoysSeven Southwestern states will soon be infiltrated by 1,200 military special ops personnel as part of a controversial domestic military training in which some of the elite soldiers will operate undetected among civilians.

Operation Jade Helm begins in July and will last for eight weeks. Soldiers will operate in and around towns in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado where some of them wil drop from planes while carrying weapons loaded with blanks in what military officials have dubbed Realistic Military Training.

But with residents of the entire states of Texas and Utah dubbed ‘hostile’ for the purposes of the exercises, Jade Helm has some concerned the drills are too realistic.

Headlines like Freedom Outpost’s ‘Operation Jade Helm—military trains for martial law in American South-west’ abound across the Right-leaning blogosphere and Info Wars warns that Jade Helm is simply ‘an effort to test the effectiveness of infiltration techniques’ on the American public.

‘They’re having Delta Force, Navy SEALS with the Army trained to basically take over,’ Info Wars’ Alex Jones said Sunday. ‘Texas is listed as a hostile sector, and of course, we are…We’re here defending the republic.’ (Read more from “Special Forces Set to Swarm Southwest and Operate Undetected Among Civilians in Massive Military Exercise” HERE)

Here’s Why Bergdahl is Claiming He Left His Post This Time

download (10)By Richard Sisk. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s defense against a desertion charge will rely in part on his claim that he walked off his post in Afghanistan in an attempt to reach another U.S. base to report on wrongdoing in his unit.

The whistleblower argument has been put forward in a memo from Bergdahl’s lawyer, military law specialist Eugene Fidell, and CNN reported Friday that senior Defense Department officials confirmed that Bergdahl’s claim was included in an Army investigation of the case by Maj. Gen. Kenneth Dahl.

Dahl’s report went to Gen. Mark Milley, head of the Army Forces Command at Fort Bragg, N.C., who earlier this week authorized charges of one count of desertion and one count of misbehavior before the enemy against Bergdahl.

The senior Defense officials cited by CNN said that Bergdahl claimed to be concerned about problems with “order and discipline” at Combat Outpost Mest-Lalak in Paktika province and also had concerns about “leadership issues at his base.”

One of the Defense officials said “This was a kid who had leadership concerns on his mind. He wasn’t fed up, he wasn’t planning to desert,” CNN reported. (Read more from “Here’s Why Bergdahl is Claiming He Left His Post This Time” HERE)

Actor Gary Sinise demands Obama ANSWER for men who died to save ‘deserter’ Bergdahl

By Tom Tillison. Gary Sinise, the man who played Lt. Dan in the blockbuster film “Forrest Gump,” is demanding that the White House explain its actions in trading five top level Taliban commanders for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

Following the announcement on Wednesday that Bergdahl is being charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy, Sinise took to Twitter to suggest the Obama administration owes an explanation to not only the country, but to the families of the soldiers who died looking for Bergdahl.

Administration must explain, especially 2 families of those lost attempting 2 find him, the GITMO trade https://t.co/8SznjntflV

“Beyond the Mask” Faith-Based Film Set to Smash All Records, Largest “Theater-on-Demand” Release in History

beyond the maskA $4 million faith-based movie made largely by 400 volunteers from the homeschooling community is hoping to open April 6 on as many as 1,100 screens, far more than needed to set a record for the largest on-demand theatrical opening.

The film, called Beyond the Mask and starring John Rhys-Davies, is a faith-based action-adventure movie. It’s set in Colonial America and, while fiction, includes some historical facts and figures, like the signing of the Declaration of Independence and scenes involving the likes of Benjamin Franklin. It was the historical aspect that drew Rhys-Davies to the project.

“I love history, and there’s a lot of shared history that America and Britain have,” said the Welsh actor. “It’s an exciting story with wonderful historical elements.”

The plot involves a mercenary for the British East India Company — which producer Aaron Burns calls “the first too-big-to-fail multinational company to get special favors from the government” — who is on the run and trying to rehabilitate his reputation after having been double-crossed. Rhys-Davies plays the heavy in the film, and he clearly has an affinity for America’s earliest heroes.

“Ben Franklin is one of the most fortuitously happy of men,” he said while in New Zealand filming The Shannara Chronicles, an upcoming fantasy series from MTV. “Franklin is thoughtful and well-read, and his contemporaries are the most stimulating bunch of young Englishmen ever to have left the British Isles. Those Founding Fathers of yours — you think of Pericles in Athens. Adams, Franklin, Jefferson, Washington — they are an extraordinary class of very great men who can get on with each other and change the world.” (Read more from “John Rhys-Davies’ Faith-Based Film Aims to Top ‘Theater-on-Demand’ Release Record” HERE)

Watch: Ronald Reagan’s Son Proclaims Lifelong Atheism in TV Ad, “Not Afraid of Burning in Hell”

ron-reaganFormer president Ronald Reagan’s outspoken son, Ron Reagan, Jr, is not afraid to tell the world about his atheism, and is also not afraid of burning in hell, according to a TV commercial airing on CNN and Comedy Central.

“Hi, I’m Ron Reagan, an unabashed atheist,” the commercial begins. “And I’m alarmed at the intrusions of religion into our secular government.”

The commercial for the Freedom From Religion Foundation first aired last May, but Comedy Central’s The Daily Show has again picked up the spot to air on afternoon reruns of the program starting in April. The ad has already been airing on morning reruns of The Daily Show as well as on CNN for months.

Originally, the FFRF had trouble getting the commercial to be broadcast on network television as ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox all declined to run the ad. The FFRF’s co-president, Annie Laurie Gaylor, told Newsmax that it’s hard to get non-Christian commercials to air. “We believe in free speech, but in this climate even paid speech by unbelievers is often censored,” she said.

“That’s why I’m asking you to support the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the nation’s largest and most effective association of atheists and agnostics, working to keep state and church separate, just like our Founding Fathers intended,” Reagan claims in the commercial. Obama Fantasizes About Being Back in the USSR

iRANJust when it seemed things couldn’t get more absurd in the Obama White House, the President floated the idea last week of making voting mandatory in the United States. It would be “transformative,” he claimed.

To paraphrase a line from The Princess Bride: “he keeps using that word but I don’t think it means what he thinks it means.”

For one thing the term generally used is compulsory voting but that doesn’t quite have the slightly softer sound on the ears mandatory does.

Of course when Obama says “transformative” he means a way for his party to get a firmer grip on political power, sort of like making sure the dead aren’t unjustly deprived of their vote just because they are no longer breathing.

During a town hall in Cleveland last Wednesday, when he first mentioned the idea, Obama noted that other countries have mandatory voting. Do their dead vote too?

Just because other countries do it is no reason for us to accept the practice.

Proponents noted that at least 20 countries have mandatory voting, though only 10 enforce it. They point to how well it works in countries like Australia or Belgium, where missing a vote can mean a jail sentence, though it is rarely enforced. They failed to note how other, less savory, countries are also on the list, such as North Korea (with only one candidate on the ballot), Egypt, Libya, Mexico, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

This is the august company the president wants us to keep? It wouldn’t be the first time he has left many scratching their heads over his troubling allegiances.

“It would be transformative if everybody voted,” Obama said. “That would counteract money more than anything…the people who tend not to vote are young, they’re lower income, they’re skewed more heavily towards immigrant groups and minority groups. There’s a reason why some folks try to keep them away from the polls.”

Besides the Democrat fantasy that there is an active movement to stop some people from voting because of their ethnicity, Obama deludes himself into thinking that 100% voter turnout would turn things in his favor (why else would he support it?). Israel had 72% voter turnout in this last election and Obama’s apparent nemesis, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, won in an overwhelming landslide, yet the president seems to have no respect for the democratic process in that situation.

In any case, who would win or lose in such a system doesn’t matter. Even if the votes went entirely against the Democrats, it is a bad idea. How can a free country mandate participation in elections? It can’t. Voting is a civil right but no one is obliged to exercise one’s civil rights at all times. Would we require people to stand on a soapbox and speak, or write monthly letters to the editor, or perhaps require everyone to own a firearm? While the latter is a tempting idea, the basis of freedom and a free society is that everyone is allowed to choose for himself. That includes not voting if that is your choice.

Fox News interviewed Frank Askins, a professor at Rutgers School of Law, about the constitutionality of forcing people to vote. He was quite blunt about the matter. “People have a right to opt out of elections. It’s not happening.”

If you make voting compulsory it is only one more step to make voting for certain candidates compulsory. Thinking back to the Cold War, the Soviet Union always used to brag about its massive voter turnout, but there was never any question that the people had no choice. Compulsory voting was a symbol of a totalitarian system, not of people exercising their rights or freedom.

No wonder the president is so fond of the idea. (See “Obama Fantasizes About Being Back in the USSR”, originally posted HERE)

Hacked Emails Reveal Clinton Aide’s Secret Spy Network Involving ex-CIA Operative

EyeglassStarting weeks before Islamic militants attacked the U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya, longtime Clinton family confidante Sidney Blumenthal supplied intelligence to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gathered by a secret network that included a former CIA clandestine service officer, according to hacked emails from Blumenthal’s account.

The emails, which were posted on the internet in 2013, also show that Blumenthal and another close Clinton associate discussed contracting with a retired Army special operations commander to put operatives on the ground near the Libya-Tunisia border while Libya’s civil war raged in 2011.

Blumenthal’s emails to Clinton, which were directed to her private email account, include at least a dozen detailed reports on events on the deteriorating political and security climate in Libya as well as events in other nations. They came to light after a hacker broke into Blumenthal’s account and have taken on new significance in light of the disclosure that she conducted State Department and personal business exclusively over an email server that she controlled and kept secret from State Department officials and which only recently was discovered by congressional investigators.

The contents of that account are now being sought by a congressional inquiry into the Benghazi attacks. Clinton has handed over more than 30,000 pages of her emails to the State Department, after unilaterally deciding which ones involved government business; the State Department has so far handed almost 900 pages of those over to the committee. A Clinton spokesman told Gawker and ProPublica (which are collaborating on this story) that she has turned over all the emails Blumenthal sent to Clinton.

The dispatches from Blumenthal to Clinton’s private email address were posted online after Blumenthal’s account was hacked in 2013 by Romanian hacker Marcel-Lehel Lazar, who went by the name Guccifer. Lazar also broke into accounts belonging to George W. Bush’s sister, Colin Powell, and others. He’s now serving a seven-year sentence in his home country and was charged in a U.S. indictment last year. (Read more from “Private Emails Reveal Clinton Aide’s Secret Spy Network” HERE)

This Is How TSA Decides if You’re Acting Like a Terrorist

Do not enterBy Dustin Volz. Next time you go through airport security, do your best to avoid yawning, whistling, or complaining too much: Any of those behaviors could make you look like a terrorist in the eyes of a Transportation Security Administration screening agent, according to newly disclosed government documents.

A secret 92-point checklist, obtained and published Friday by The Intercept, reveals for the first time what kind of passenger behavior can merit a red flag for TSA agents responsible for pulling possible terrorists and criminals out of airport security lines.

The checklist reveals a step-by-step process for assessing whether passengers deserve additional scrutiny. Those deemed suspicious under “observation and behavior analysis” are pulled aside and searched for “unusual items” such as almanacs and prepaid calling cards. During the inspection, TSA agents are also instructed to look for “signs of deception,” which can include a fast rate of eye-blinking.

Other suspicious signs listed include exaggerated yawning, gazing down, a pale face due to a recent beard shaving, widely open staring eyes, wearing of “improper attire,” and arriving late for a flight.

The program, known as Screening of Passengers by Observation Techniques, or SPOT, has been in use nationwide since 2007 and has cost taxpayers upwards of $1 billion dollars. (Read more from “This Is How TSA Decides If You Might Be Acting Like a Terrorist” HERE)

TSA Terror Checklist Includes Body Odor, ‘Exaggerated Yawning’

By Nick Gass. You might want to clear your throat before going through the airport security line. And avoid “exaggerated yawning” and “repetitive grooming gestures.” And mind your body odor.

Those are just a few of the signals that you could be a terrorist, according to Transportation Safety Administration documents obtained and published by The Intercept on Friday.

The program, which began in 2007 and has cost the TSA $1 billion, is called Screening of Passengers by Observation Techniques, or SPOT. The checklist tasks “behavioral detection officers” with assigning varying levels points based on stress factors (one point), fear factors (two points) and what it calls deception factors (three points).

Stress factors include: avoiding eye contact with security personnel, a pale face “from recent shaving of beard,” an “obvious ‘Adam’s Apple’ jump” when asked to go through screening procedures, among others. Fear factors include: a “cold penetrating stare,” “bulges in clothing,” “individuals who are seemingly unrelated but display identical dress or luggage,” and showing an “unusual interest” in security officers and their routine. Where is this in the Constitution?! Feds Spend over $100,000 to Autodetect Cyberbullying

BLD140591The National Science Foundation (NSF) is financing the creation of a system for the “automatic detection” of cyberbullying.

The project was awarded this month to Rutgers University, which has received $117,102 so far. The real-time, automatic detection of hurtful online speech is necessary, according to the NSF grant, because cyberbullying is a “critical social problem.” The grant said 40 percent of American teenagers have reported being cyberbullied.

“This project aims to define new approaches for automatic detection of cyberbullying by integrating the relevant research in social sciences and computer science,” the grant said.

The project will involve searching for keywords and studying the relationships between teenagers who send and receive mean online messages.

“Specifically, this research will advance the state of the art in cyberbullying detection beyond textual analysis by also giving due attention to the social relationships in which these bullying messages are exchanged,” the grant said. You’ll Never Guess Why This Boy’s ‘Military Haircut’ Got Him a Suspension Threat

milA young boy’s high and tight haircut meant to honor his soldier-stepbrother earned him the threat of suspension from an elementary school named for a Medal of Honor recipient, and the fallout from the incident has led a Tennessee school district to increase security measures.

Adam Stinnett went to Bobby Ray Memorial Elementary School in McMinnville, about a 90-minute drive southeast from Nashville, on March 9 sporting the new hairdo. His mother, Amy Stinnett, said he’d requested the high and tight to be more like Spc. Justin Bloodworth, his active-duty stepbrother.

Adam was written up by the principal, who thought the haircut was against school policy banning “mohawk haircuts or other extreme cuts.”

Amy Stinnett disagreed. Adam went back Tuesday with the same haircut.

After his mother received an email from the principal and stopped by for a face-to-face chat, it was made clear that Adam’s hairstyle would have to change before he returned to school. (Read more from “You’ll Never Guess Why This Boy’s ‘Military Haircut’ Got Him a Suspension Threat” HERE)
