Germany Kicks Out Top US Spy Over Espionage Claims

Photo Credit: TownHallGermany on Thursday demanded Washington’s top spy in Berlin leave the country as a new round of allegations of U.S. espionage worsened the friction between the two allies.

The immediate trigger was the emergence of two new cases of alleged American spying. They inflamed a furor that erupted last year when it was learned that the U.S. was intercepting Internet traffic in Germany and eavesdropping on Chancellor Angela Merkel’s cellphone calls.

More broadly, the move to kick out the CIA station chief appears to reflect a Germany out of patience with what it sees as a pattern of American disrespect and interference.

“The representative of the U.S. intelligence services at the United States Embassy has been asked to leave Germany,” German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said in a statement.

“The request occurred against the backdrop of the ongoing investigation by federal prosecutors as well as the questions that were posed months ago about the activities of U.S. intelligence agencies in Germany,” he added. “The government takes the matter very seriously.”

WATCH: BBC Admits 'Gaza Under Attack' Images Fabricated

Photo Credit: AFPThe BBC has admitted that pictures of alleged Israeli airstrikes on Gaza and their aftermath may be inaccurate.

A little-known division of the corporation called BBC Trending says that many of images being shared on social media under the #GazaUnderAttack hashtag are in fact several years old, and in some cases from different conflicts.

In one case, a Twitter user posted multiple images with the caption: “This is not a matter of religion. This is a matter of humanity #GazaUnderAttack” – except one of the images was from Syria last month, and another from Baghdad in 2007.

Sheriff Feds Releasing Criminals Deported 10-15 Times into Arizona

Photo Credit: MARK RALSTON / AFP / Getty ImagesOn Tuesday’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on the Fox News Channel, Pinal County, AZ Sheriff Paul Babeu reported that the federal government has released criminal illegal aliens into his community and that his officers have arrested individuals who have already been deported 10 or 15 times. He said “[the federal government] has released dangerous violent criminals right in my county and they refuse to give me the names of these criminals, and that there are “cartel scouts…ushering the drugs through all the way up to Phoenix” within the county. Babeu added, “We have a guy just yesterday we arrested and everyday 10 times deported, 15 times deported, because there are no consequences for breaking the law.”

He also blasted President Barack Obama’s claim that the $3.7 billion the president requested from Congress will help remedy the situation on the border…

Hillary Clinton Refuses To Apologize For Laughing About 12-Year-Old Rape Victim She Maligned In Court

Photo Credit: AP / Carolyn KasterSeveral weeks ago, the Washington Free Beacon unearthed the following audio of Hillary Clinton discussing a rape case she defended in 1975:

It’s only taken her expert team of PR pros a few weeks to come up with a halfhearted excuse for the Hillary Tapes. Apparently, they just lifted it from her Twitter feed.

Alana Goodman, Washington Free Beacon:

Hillary Clinton weighed in on her 1975 legal defense of an accused child rapist on Saturday, her first comments on the case since it came under scrutiny following a Washington Free Beacon report last month.

Clinton spoke in clinical, legal terms while explaining her defense of the rapist, who Clinton helped to avoid a lengthy prison term by relying on a technicality relating to the chain of evidence of his blood-soaked underwear, as well as arguing at the time that the 12-year-old victim may have exaggerated or encouraged the attack.

Here's How Obama Wants To Spend A Whopping $3.7 Billion To Deal With The Border Crisis

Photo Credit: REUTERS / Kevin LamarquePresident Barack Obama is requesting $3.7 billion in emergency funding to deal with the humanitarian crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border, where thousands of migrants — many of them unaccompanied children — have flooded across the border in recent months.

The White House formally asked Congress on Tuesday for $3.7 billion to improve border security along the border, to improve housing conditions where the migrants are being kept, and to speed up deportation proceedings. The amount is almost $2 billion more than earlier reports suggested the Obama administration would request.

White House officials said last month that, as of June 15, 52,000 unaccompanied children from Central America have been apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border this year. In addition, border officials have taken 39,000 more adults with children into custody as of May 31.

Hundreds are coming over the border every day, mostly making their way from violence-stricken areas in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador. The causes for the influx are many, but a large portion are children fleeing increased drug and gang violence.

Child Thought Cured of HIV Tests Positive for the Virus

Photo Credit: NIAIDThe Mississippi girl born with HIV who was believed to be cured after aggressive early treatment has tested positive for the virus, a disappointing setback for HIV/AIDS research.

The child, who had not been on anti-retroviral therapy for 27 months, was believed to be the first person to have the virus completely eliminated through drugs, and scientists had hoped to be able to replicate her regimen to treat other babies infected at birth.

“It felt very much like a punch to the gut,” Hannah Gay, a physician who treated the baby, said during a press conference Thursday.

The child, whose name has not been revealed, was at high risk for infection because her mother was HIV-positive and had not received any treatment during pregnancy. Doctors typically do not treat infants with the drugs until at least six weeks after birth when they can be certain the babies are infected. But in a highly unusual move, doctors at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson began administering an aggressive triple-drug treatment 30 hours after the baby was born prematurely in 2010.

APNewsBreak: Different Attackers in Benghazi?

Photo Credit: TownHall Newly revealed testimony from top military commanders involved in the U.S. response to the Benghazi attacks suggests that the perpetrators of a second, dawn attack on a CIA complex probably were different from those who penetrated the U.S. diplomatic mission the evening before and set it ablaze, killing Ambassador Chris Stevens and another American.

The second attack, which killed two security contractors, showed clear military training, retired Gen. Carter Ham told Congress in closed-door testimony released late Wednesday. The assault probably was the work of a new team of militants, seizing on reports of violence at the diplomatic mission the night before and hitting the Americans while they were most vulnerable.

The testimony, which The Associated Press was able to read ahead of its release, could clarify for the first time the events of Sept. 11, 2012, that have stirred bitter recriminations in the U.S., including Republican-led congressional investigations and campaign-season denunciations of the Obama administration, which made inaccurate statements about the Libyan attacks. The testimony underscores a key detail that sometimes has been lost in the debate: that the attacks were two distinct events over two days on two different buildings, perhaps by unrelated groups.

The U.S. government still has not fully characterized the first attack in which, according to Ham and eight other military officers, men who seemed familiar with the lightly protected diplomatic compound breached it and set it on fire, killing Stevens and communications specialist Sean Smith. A disorganized mob of looters then overran the facility.

In testimony to two House panels earlier this year, the officers said that commanders didn’t have the information they needed to understand the nature of the attack, that they were unaware of the extent of the U.S. presence in Benghazi at the time and they were convinced erroneously for a time that they were facing a hostage crisis without the ability to move military assets into place that would be of any use.

“Beware Of Wolves In Sheep’s Clothing”: A Minister's Perspective On the US Senate Primary Race in Alaska

During every election cycle, it’s the same old story. Democrats and RINO Republicans make every effort to hide their liberal records in order to fool the electorate into believing they are a different person then who they actually are. Of course, once elected, they do exactly that opposite of what the people elected them to do. There is no wonder that Congress has one of the lowest approval ratings in history and that the average person is fed up with politicians and the political process.

This year’s US Senate race in Alaska is no different. There are two millionaire establishment candidates, Dan Sullivan and Mead Treadwell, running against one middle class constitutional conservative in Joe Miller.

However, listening to the TV and radio ads of the two establishment candidates, you would think Sullivan and Treadwell were tea party conservatives. Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing.

What these wolves are not telling the electorate is that they both blocked a pro-life initiative from the ballot (not even allowing citizens to vote on the issue), they both promote the manmade global warming agenda, are against voter ID, favor some sort of amnesty for illegal aliens, and favor a United Nations tax and regulation (Law of the Sea Treaty).

Sullivan and Treadwell have already proved that they can under no circumstance be trusted, and that they could care less what Republicans and independents in Alaska want.

Both of them ignored the will of the people in 2010 when they did not support the Republican nominee and joined with Democrats to help elect liberal RINO Lisa Murkowsi, who has voted with Obama 72% of the time. Sullivan and Treadwell are good friends with Murkowski; so you can bet that if either one of them end up in office, Alaska will have liberal Lisa for life.

Both politicians have deep establishment ties; and their loyalty is to the elite they hobnob with and who finance them, not to everyday working Alaskans.

Censorship: 38 Journalism Groups Slam Obama's 'Politically-Driven Suppression of News'

Photo Credit: APIn unprecedented criticism of the White House, 38 journalism groups have assailed the president’s team for censoring media coverage, limiting access to top officials and overall “politically-driven suppression of the news.”

In a letter to President Obama, the 38, led by the Society of Professional Journalists, said efforts by government officials to stifle or block coverage has grown for years and reached a high-point under his administration despite Obama’s 2008 campaign promise to provide transparency.

Worse, they said: As access for reporters has been cut off, the administration has opened the door to lobbyists, special interests and “people with money.”

And as a result, they wrote, Obama only has himself to blame for the current cynicism of his administration. “You need look no further than your own administration for a major source of that frustration – politically driven suppression of news and information about federal agencies. We call on you to take a stand to stop the spin and let the sunshine in,” wrote David Cuillier, president of SPJ.

The administration has dismissed similar charges from other journalism groups, notably the White House Correspondents’ Association, but the new letter sent Tuesday provided several examples of censorship and efforts to block reporter access. Among them:
