TSA Agents ‘Humiliated’ Marine Who Lost Both Legs To An IED

Transportation Security Administration officers “humiliated” a Marine who lost both legs to an Improvised Explosive Device by requiring the wheelchair-bound Marine to stand and walk. They also had him remove both his prosthetic legs, according to a letter from Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-California).

In his complaint to TSA Administrator John Pistole, Hunter described the Marine as being “humiliated” by the TSA’s actions, based on accounts of the incident last week in Phoenix, Arizona.

“The individual escorting this Marine asked the TSA officer which of the two checkpoints to enter and received the response, ‘either one,’ only to be told moments later they should have entered a different way. As a result, a TSA officer asked the Marine to stand and walk to an alternate area, despite the fact that he physically could not stand or walk on his own,” Hunter explained in his letter.

“With numerous TSA officers sitting and unwilling to assist, an officer then made him remove his legs, then put them back on,” Hunter continued, “only to advance to a secondary screening location where he was asked again to stand, with extraordinary difficulty, while his wheelchair was examined for explosives.”

Tea Partiers Express Concern Over RNC ‘Autopsy’ Report

After the Republican National Committee released its “autopsy” report highlighting the path forward for the GOP on Monday, conservatives blasted the RNC for proposing changes they feel would blunt the ability of grassroots conservatives to beat establishment candidates at the presidential level.

The report proposes shortening the primary calendar for the next presidential cycle and holding a series of regional primaries that would be a series of “super primaries.” Critics claim it is heavy on process, metrics, and outreach to celebrities and minorities while being short on conservative substance—which, they fear, would ensure more Mitt Romneys are nominated over insurgent Tea Party and grassroots candidates like Ted Cruz.

Brent Bozell, chairman of ForAmerica, said there was not much that excited him about the report and accused the Republican establishment of being “obsessed with identifying problems and solutions from the top-down instead of from the bottom-up.”

“It’s the exact same thing as (GOP strategist) Karl Rove saying they’re going to pick candidates. That ensures that establishment candidates are the only ones with a chance,” Bozell told The Hill.

Jenny Beth Martin of Tea Party Patriots said the RNC fails to understand that Republicans lost because they “failed to promote our principles,” and the party does not need to wait on the “RNC to promote our winning principles at places like CPAC, and across the country.”

CNN Asked Rand Paul About Abortion Exceptions: This Is How He Answered (+video)

Republican Senator Rand Paul boldly declared last week when he introduced the Life at Conception Act that “human life begins at the moment of conception, and therefore is entitled to legal protection.”

However, during an interview on Tuesday with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, the Kentucky senator seemed to soften his tone when asked about abortion in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is at risk.

“Just to be precise, if you believe life begins at conception, which I suspect you do, you would have no exceptions for rape, incest, the life of the mother. Is that right?” Blitzer asked.

“What I would say is that there are thousands of exceptions. I’m a physician and every individual case is going to be different,” Sen. Paul responded. “Everything is going to be particular to that individual case and what is going on that mother and the medical circumstances of that mother.”

House GOP Witness: Reading Bible Can Cause Violence

This morning, VA Rep. Frank Wolf convened a hearing of the Commerce Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee he chairs. The subject of the hearing was youth violence and, specifically, the role video games play in encouraging violent behavior. A star witness, however, Psychologist Brad J. Bushman, has a tendency to see lots of things contributing to violence. One paper he wrote a few years ago even found that exposure to Biblical stories caused an increase in violent behavior, especially among believers.

Psychologist Brad J. Bushman has made a career of out preconceived notions and sweeping generalizations. Bushman is best known co-authoring an article with Brigham Young Professor Robert Ridge entitled, “When God Sanctions Killing” which appeared in the March 2007 issue of Psychological Science magazine. The study found “compelling evidence that exposure to a scriptural depiction of violence or to violence authorized by deity can cause readers to behave more aggressively.”

Even though in the study Bushman et al even acknowledge a variety of factors could mitigate or cause violence, they persist with their conclusion. The Bible is the best-selling book of all times and more recently, a top TV show. So nearly everyone has been exposed to the Bible, so it has to be a factor.

The authors were quick to point out their study was not meant as Bible-bashing yet they compared followers to terrorists noting, “when you think about terrorists and they say, ‘God will sit in judgment,’ and they sometimes refer to a scripture, our question was, ‘Could that really make a person behave more aggressively?’ And the answer is, yes, it could.'”

If Mathew, Mark, Luke and John can cause violence, according to the logic of Dr. Bushman, it makes sense to believe that can “Call of Duty” can, as well.

America Is Under The Tyranny Of Corrupt Big City Political Machines

Democrats are fighting tooth and nail, any efforts to clean up our election system.

Just the simple act of proving you are an American citizen to vote, is being fought all of the way up to the Supreme Court by the Obama administration, in its attempt to thwart Arizona’s voter ID laws.

The simple requirement to show identification when you register to vote/ vote is also being branded as unfair and racist by democrats

Is there anything more important to a democracy than ensuring the election system is being conducted fairly? Fair elections are the very heart and soul of a democracy.

If the elections are rigged, or manipulated, a democracy can no longer be called a democracy. It becomes a tyranny ruled by those who corrupt the election. As Joseph Stalin said: It is not so important who votes, what is important is who counts the votes

Recently it was revealed Florida uncovered an attempt to hack into its elections and hijack 2,500 absentee voter pamphlets. The intrusion was discovered and blocked before the ballots were sent out, but is this just the tip of the iceberg? See the complete story in Tech News World.

Election officials are saying this is the first documented case of online voter hacking. But is this just the first one they found? How many others were done successfully and election officials have no clue about? Evidently it is quite simple to gain entry/hack into many election systems electronically; some don’t even have passwords for entry.

Fox News has been doing an excellent ongoing investigation into voter fraud in our country and the results are disturbing. Time after time, it is proving out where there’s smoke, there is voter fraud fire. What Fox News is discovering about our elections. See stories

A Cincinnati Ohio poll worker is being charged with voting 6 times in the last presidential election. This is a poll worker, someone who is trusted to watch over our elections. What else did she do to throw the election? See story here.

This poll worker was one of 19 others in just this one county who is under investigation for vote fraud. “I’m outraged, and every voter, regardless of political affiliation, should be outraged,” said Hamilton County Board of Elections member Alex Triantafilou, who is also chairman of the county Republican Party. “It causes folks to have real doubts about the fabric of our very democratic process, and it’s dangerous.

Would this be uncovered if there wasn’t a member of the opposite party to raise an alarm and start an investigation?

Most of Americas big cities have been dominated by the democrat party for years. One party rule engenders corruption, especially if that party oversees most aspects of the election process. The big cities are the population centers of the state, it is usually a huge hurdle for the rest of the state to overcome that advantage. Sometimes it comes down to a few votes in just a few counties to determine where all of that states presidential delegates will go.

Many years ago someone confessed to me towards the end of his life, that in his younger days he had been a player in the manipulation of votes in one of the largest cities in America. He was part of an organized operation that threw out the contents of ballot boxes and filed them with their ballots, in order to assure their party prevailed. He felt guilt and shame many years later, but at the time he felt he was doing the right thing for his city and country….Probably the same way the Ohio poll worker felt when she voted for Obama 6 times in the last election.

When democrats say there is little, or minor vote fraud in the country, they are “misspeaking.” In one big city, Philadelphia, some poll workers actually threw out members of the opposite party sent to observe voting practices in their precincts. How can we have trust in the outcome? Pennsylvania is a key state in presidential elections.

With the advent of electronic voting and counting, it not only makes it easier to manipulate our elections, it almost guarantees it, especially when you hear the lax protections in place to safeguard the systems.

First we need to clean up our nations voter rolls, get all of the dead, non existent and non citizens off the rolls who are voting. All of this should be done on a local level done under the close observation of both political parties. All registration of voters needs to be accomplished using verifiable identification.

Since absentee/electronic voting is the easiest way to manipulate/rig elections, these should be scrapped and we should require all elections be done at polling precincts using paper ballots that require to be hand counted and securely tallied….closely monitored by members of both parties.

States should also look at proportionally awarding delegates in presidential races, this will help negate the power of big city political machines that dominate an entire state.

Sadly, perhaps its time to emulate other countries who have had problems with corrupt elections: After voting dip the index finger of the voter in purple ink.

Ethics Committee Investigating Rep. Don Young Of Alaska … Again

The House of Representatives Ethics Committee is investigating Alaska Republican Rep. Don Young over allegations of wrongly taking gifts, using campaign funds for personal purposes and lying to federal officials.

The ethics committee said Tuesday that it was creating an investigative subcommittee to determine whether Young broke the law or House rules. The decision to move forward with an investigation follows an initial probe by the ethics panel in which it reviewed evidence against Young.

Young declined a request for an interview to discuss the allegations. “We have no comment at this time,” Young spokesman Michael Anderson said, adding that Young has cooperated with investigators and will continue to do so.

The allegations are that Young “or persons acting on his behalf improperly obtained, received or accepted gifts, improperly used official resources or campaign funds for personal purposes, failed to report certain gifts on his annual financial disclosure statements and made false statements to federal officials.”

Corruption investigations have dogged Young for years. At one point, the Justice Department drew up a draft indictment that included the synopsis that “Donald Young, in his capacity as congressman of Alaska, accepted and expected things of value (trips, meals, golf, etc.) from lobbyists, and in exchange he would provide them with official actions (meetings, letters, legislation).” The indictment wasn’t used, and Young has not been charged.

Palin Is Right: To Win, GOP Must Adopt Tea Party Populism

The establishment Republican Party leaders and their sometime abettors in the establishment media would like to forget that the Tea Party uprising of 2009 and 2010 was as much a revolt against the entrenched GOP leadership as it was a rebellion against Barack Obama and his liberal agenda.

Tea Partiers and grassroots conservatives frustrated by the slow pace of change in the GOP or its tendency to equate change with lurching to the left were therefore delighted when former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin took to the stage at CPAC and delivered a stinging rebuke to the advocates of big government Republicanism and the abandonment of the Republican Party’s support for traditional marriage and other elements of the traditional values agenda.

Most of the media coverage of Sarah Palin’s CPAC speech centered on her humorous tweaking of Karl Rove and America’s nanny-in-chief New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg. However, those who stop there in their analysis of Governor Palin’s remarks are missing the most important element of her CPAC speech: her celebration of the populist elements of the Tea Party agenda and a call for the Republican Party to embrace them.

In the first of two key points in the speech, Palin invoked the wisdom of Lady Margaret Thatcher to remind Republicans that the way forward after the 2012 election disaster was not to be more like the Democrats, saying, “The permanent political class is in permanent political mode so where do we go from here? One of my idols, Lady Margaret Thatcher, she offered this advice after her party lost at the polls. She told fellow conservatives not to get lost in abstract debates and green-eye-shade accounting. Mrs. Thatcher advised conservatives to focus their concerns first and foremost on the people. She said; look at every problem from the grassroots, not from the top down. She also cautioned Conservatives not to go wobbly on their beliefs…”

Governor Palin also gave a good analysis of the disaster Obamanomics has wreaked upon America’s middle class. These facts are important, and should get more media coverage whenever the White House says the economy is improving and the recession is over — but pointing them out is not unique to Sarah Palin. What is unique and important is her analysis of how they relate to the growth of government and the growing divide between Washington and “heartland country” as Palin calls it.

FBI Arrests NASA Contractor Employee Trying To Flee To China

Bo Jiang, the Chinese national scientist employed by a NASA contractor for work at the space agency’s Langley Research Center, was arrested Sunday by the FBI at Dulles International Airport as he tried to flee to China, according to Rep. Frank Wolf, R-VA.

Wolf said during a Capitol Hill news conference today that Jiang’s work at the NASA facility had given him access to information that “would be of the greatest interest to foreign spies, including China.”

Wolf is chairman of a House Appropriations Committee subcommittee that has budget oversight authority for NASA.

He made Jiang’s name public for the first time last week during a subcommittee hearing where he also charged that Jiang had taken “voluminous sensitive” NASA documents back to China on a trip in 2012.

Jiang was employed by the National Institute of Aerospace, a Hampton, VA-based NASA contractor. The position afforded Jiang virtually unlimited, unescorted access to the NASA Langley facility, which is the location for classified research programs related to U.S. space defense technologies.

Did Senator Drop Benghazi Bombshell?

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., may have dropped a bombshell in an interview with Fox News in which he stated that murdered U.S Ambassador Christopher Stevens was in Benghazi to keep weapons caches from falling into the hands of terrorists.

Until now, no official explanation for Stevens deployment to Libya has acknowledged any such activity. Stevens reportedly died from smoke inhalation as a result of the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks on the U.S. special mission and CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya.

The official State Department probe into the Benghazi attacks stated Stevens was sent to Benghazi to “establish a U.S. presence in Libya.”

“The State Department had been absent from Libya since the Embassy in Tripoli suspended operations and evacuated its American personnel on February 25, 2011, amidst an escalating campaign by Muammar Qaddafi to suppress violently a popular uprising against his rule,” continued the report.

The report stated Stevens made the decision to travel to the Benghazi mission on Sept. 11 on his own, “independently of Washington, per standard practice.”

Video: Aloha Firearms! Guns And Ammo Sales Skyrocket

More and more people continue to buy guns in Hawaii and this weekend’s gun show at the Blaisdell was packed. Business at this weekend’s gun show is booming.

“A lot more women a lot more families, it’s not just a man thing anymore,” says Sheldon Tyau, Event Coordinator. Organizers say it’s the largest crowd they’ve seen in the show’s 35 year history.

The longest line was for ammo.

“It’s really difficult to get ammo at a good price right now, if you can find it,” says Doug Moose, Mililani resident.

“Alot of it’s getting scarce on the mainland, so a lot of people want to make sure they get extra ammo,” says Tyau.
