Trump Campaigns With Laken Riley’s Parents, Biden Says ‘I Shouldn’t Have’ Called Murder Suspect ‘Illegal’

Former President Donald Trump is using his 2024 presidential bid to bring awareness to the plight of Angel Families, like the parents of Laken Riley, who was murdered allegedly at the hands of an illegal alien. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden says “I shouldn’t have” called the murder suspect “illegal.”

Over the weekend, Trump held a campaign rally in Rome, Georgia, where Angel Parents Jason Riley and Allyson Philips attended and met with the president. . .

“Biden has implemented a formal policy that illegal aliens who intrude into the United States are granted immunity from deportation,” Trump said in Rome. “Thus, when this monster showed up at our border he was set free immediately under the program that crooked Joe created.” . . .

Then, in an interview over the weekend with MSNBC, Biden suggested he regretted using the term “illegal” to describe Ibarra, but did not mention his mispronouncing of Riley’s name.

“I shouldn’t have used ‘illegal.’ It’s ‘undocumented,’” Biden said. “… I’m not going to treat any, any, any of these people with disrespect. Look, they built the country. The reason our economy is growing. We have to control the border and more orderly flow, but I don’t share his [Trump’s] view at all.” (Read more from “Trump Campaigns With Laken Riley’s Parents, Biden Says ‘I Shouldn’t Have’ Called Murder Suspect ‘Illegal’” HERE)

Russia Outpacing U.S., Europe on Artillery-Shell Production Three to One: Report

Russia is producing three times as many artillery shells than the combined totals of the United States and its European allies.

A senior European intelligence official told CNN that Russia has been producing 250,000 shells per month — 3 million per year — while the combined defense-industrial capacities of both the U.S. and NATO limit production to about 1.2 million over the same span. The U.S. military set a goal of 100,000 rounds per month by the end of 2025, CNN reports, but that the goal is now unattainable given the $60 billion in Ukraine funding currently in congressional limbo.

The report comes as Russia gains the upper hand in its invasion of Ukraine, having recently captured the city of Avdiivka in the Donbas region. A NATO official told CNN that artillery is the most important aspect of the ongoing war, saying it is in that area where Russia has both “a significant production advantage” and “a significant advantage on the battlefield.”

The report also mentions that, aside from its own domestic production, Russia has imported large quantities of munitions. Iran sent Russia at least 300,000 artillery shells and North Korea delivered at least 6,700 containers carrying millions, according to the NATO official.

While U.S. and NATO leaders have said they do not expect Russia to make significant gains during a forthcoming offensive, Putin has recently begun targeting Ukrainian weapons factories with long-range missiles and drones. Hunter Biden’s Attorneys Suggest Prosecution Is Linked to Russian Intel

Hunter Biden’s attorneys are arguing a special counsel appointed by President Biden’s Justice Department is doing the bidding of Russian intelligence officials.

The defense attorneys, led by Abbe D. Lowell, suggested in a court filing on Monday that special counsel David Weiss’s criminal prosecution of Hunter Biden is carrying out the mission of Russian intelligence officials.

Biden’s attorneys are attempting to connect Weiss’s prosecution of Hunter Biden on federal tax and gun charges to the indictment of disgraced ex-FBI informant Alexander Smirnov, who Weiss is prosecuting for false statements to the FBI alleging Hunter and Joe Biden received bribes from a Ukrainian oligarch.

“This case illustrates the very continuing harm identified by the Special Counsel. The Special Counsel tells us Russian intelligence sought to influence the U.S. presidential election by using allegations against Hunter Biden to hurt President Biden’s reelection,” the filing reads. The supplemental filing is part of Hunter Biden’s argument for selective prosecution by Weiss.

Weiss and his team of prosecutors revealed Smirnov’s apparent ties to Russian intelligence in a memo last month argued for keeping him detained while awaiting trial. Biden’s attorneys referenced the information disclosed by the special counsel to cast doubt on the special counsel’s prosecution. Democrats Quietly Reintroduce Pro-Transgender Bill to Eliminate Parental Rights, Shield Groomers

Democrats in Maine have quietly reintroduced into a different committee the same pro-transgender bill that was unanimously defeated once already. The bill would in part prevent parents from being contacted or having any say in the transing of their children by school or medical officials and would serve as a groomer protection measure.

The bill, LD227, is very similar to LD 1735, which was killed in the Judiciary Committee in January.

Republican critics of the bill are blasting the provisions as anti-family and anti-child.

The bill prohibits “interference” between parents and children if a child requests an abortion or wants to undergo “gender-affirming care,” according to Fox News.

If the latest iteration is passed, the law would give sweeping license to the transgendering of children and abortions for minors whether parents agree with the procedures or not. The bill additionally protects any minor who enters the state from outside and would cause Maine law enforcement to prevent parents from being able to influence their children’s medical care if those parents oppose so-called “gender-affirming” care. Report: Biden Trying to ‘Collapse’ Netanyahu Government, Mid-War

U.S. President Joe Biden is reportedly attempting to force the “collapse” of the Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the middle of a war against Hamas terrorists in Gaza and a potential war against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Biden has been increasingly hostile to Netanyahu in his public remarks, recently saying that Netanyahu is “hurting” Israel more than he is helping it through his conduct of the war. (Netanyahu fired back, saying that Biden was “wrong.”)

Now, New York Magazine reports that the Biden Administration is actively looking for ways to force Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition, which has been remarkably unified, to fall apart, which would bring about early elections. It reported (original emphasis):

One Israeli expert frequently consulted by American officials says, “I have been asked by a serious administration figure what it is that will force the Netanyahu coalition to collapse. They were interested in the mechanics, what can we demand which will collapse his coalition.”

House Speaker Blasts Biden as an ‘Embarrassment’ for Apology to Laken Riley Murder Suspect

House Speaker Mike Johnson blasted President Biden as an “embarrassment” for seemingly apologizing to Laken Riley’s accused killer instead of to the slain student’s family.

“The president is cowering to his base and showing deference to a man who deserves none. This man is an illegal immigrant who brutally murdered Laken Riley. President Biden should be apologizing to Laken’s family. What an embarrassment,” Johnson wrote on X on Sunday, responding to Biden’s interview with MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart that aired Saturday.

At the urging of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., Biden, during an off-script moment in his State of the Union address on Thursday, decried Riley’s killing by “an illegal.” The president later backtracked during his interview with Capehart, saying he should have instead used the word “undocumented” to describe Jose Ibarra, a Venezuelan national charged with murdering Riley, an Augusta University nursing student who was out for a run on the University of Georgia campus last month.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed that Ibarra illegally crossed the border near El Paso, Texas, and was released into the U.S. for further processing in September 2022.

He was later arrested and released in New York City for allegedly endangering a child about a year later. (Read more from “House Speaker Blasts Biden as an ‘Embarrassment’ for Apology to Laken Riley Murder Suspect” HERE)

Democrats React to Biden’s State of the Union: See? He’s Not Mentally Handicapped, Just a Bad President!

All you need to know about Joe Biden’s hopped up State of the Union address, delivered Thursday night through the tightest squint I’ve ever seen, is that after it was over, Democrat Rep. Jerry Nadler waddled over to the president to say, “Nobody’s going to talk about cognitive impairment now!”

I don’t know about you, but that’s exactly the confidence boost I want after performing a job as intellectually and physically exhausting as reading a speech. . .

There was never a doubt Biden would be able to muster enough stamina to hack and holler through a speech in front of hundreds of Democrats who were instructed by party leadership to thunderously applaud each line as though they were staring at the sexiest man alive. What was unknown was whether this would be the public appearance that goes so poorly that even Democrats are forced to plumb their inky hearts to find an ounce of patriotism to allow them to acknowledge the obvious.

Biden has repeatedly shown he can give a stink eye for an hour or so once every six months on live national television while shouting some remarks, buying Democrats and the media a little more time to pretend this fossilized dementia outpatient is sharp as a tack. Then he invariably toddles back to the White House in his orthopedic shoes, where he rests and molts, largely away from the average voter’s gaze. Brooke Shields Reveals Being Sexualized as a Child Star: ‘Hollywood Is Predicated on Eating Its Young’

Actress Brooke Shields has lamented she was sexualized as a child star in Hollywood, being at the center of an industry that “is predicated on eating its young.”

Fox News reports the 58-year-old rose to fame at the age of 11 when she played a child prostitute in the controversial 1978 film Pretty Baby. Shields was required to appear in multiple nude scenes. . .

The Blue Lagoon star reflected on those roles and other requirements Friday as she appeared alongside Meghan Markle and Katie Couric on the SXSW panel, “Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On and Off the Screen.” . . .

“I was at the center of it,” Shields said. “And I was promoting it and I was doing it.” She continued:

And I was lucky because I was surrounded by a very strong mom. I never did move to Hollywood. I always went to regular school.

So I had this sort of community around me that was protecting me, buoying me. And so I did not become the type of statistic that Hollywood created.

Hollywood is predicated on eating its young.

U.S. Flies Forces in to Beef up Security at Embassy in Haiti and Evacuate Personnel

The U.S. military said Sunday that it had flown forces in to beef up security at the U.S. Embassy in Haiti and allow nonessential personnel to leave.

The aircraft flew to the embassy compound, the U.S. Southern Command said, meaning that the effort involved helicopters. It was careful to point out that “no Haitians were on board the military aircraft.” That seemed aimed at quashing any speculation that senior government officials might be leaving as the gang attacks in Haiti worsen.

The neighborhood around the embassy in the capital, Port-au-Prince, is largely controlled by gangs.

“This airlift of personnel into and out of the Embassy is consistent with our standard practice for Embassy security augmentation worldwide, and no Haitians were on board the military aircraft,” according to the Southcom statement.

Robert De Niro Panics: If Trump Wins, ‘He’ll Come Looking for Me’ (VIDEO)

Hollywood star Robert De Niro is panicking at the prospect of former President Donald Trump winning in November and reclaiming the White House, predicting that Trump “will come looking for me.”

Robert De Niro voiced his paranoid fantasy during a Friday appearance on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.

“If he wins the election, you won’t be on the show anymore. He’ll come looking for me. There’ll be things that happen that none of us can imagine,” De Niro said.

De Niro said a Trump reelection in November would be a “nightmare.”

“We wanna live in a world that we want to live in and enjoy living in, or live in a nightmare? Vote for Trump and you’ll get the nightmare, vote for Biden and we’ll be back to normalcy,” he said during Friday’s show.
